Hello, I saw that my account is banned due to spam or plagiarism. I always wrote only my thoughts and created constructive posts, the last time I communicate only in one thread of the forum of the Russian locale: Analytics, analysis, forecasts. I don’t carry signatures and in my posts I didn’t intend to send spam or copy, maybe it happened by chance. After the introduction of merit, I already received more than 130 merit and I always tried to bring only useful information to the forum. Please reconsider the decision on the ban

i support appeal of this member. FapToBbly is a very useful member in russian local.

Their are two main reasons for banned account - spam or plagiarism. I was looking your profile to check if you did plagiarism or not but most of your post in Russian local board which I don't understand . I saw that you have good Marit history. Let's see if anyone can find the reason of your banned account.

If you actively participated and contributed on German section then someone like mod or most trusted person from the section should appeal for you to the global mod then you will get reduced punishment like signature ban.

Maybe because of these? Due to your topic in the Russian section that was really hard to find the plagiarism.

Before the ban, I did not think about what plagiarism is, I just talked in the usual way, discussing interesting topics with other forum participants. Now I understand that I had to take a closer look at my posts.

I wouldn't call that plagiarism, especially if FapToBbly didn't have a paid signature. It clearly says "Dear KuCoin Users", which means he could just try to share the news without trying to claim it's his own work.
The Russian sentence under it makes it even more obvious he didn't write it.

There's no source link indeed, but if this is all, it could be a honest mistake. I don't think it's good for the forum to ban users for mistakes, it'll be awfully quiet here at some point.

Exactly and it looks like someones bot who report all the bans craps everything he get and i guess we seen it that brings alot of bans that should not be , normaly !

In the context of the dialogue that was in this topic it was clear that these words - quote. If this is the only case of plagiarism on the part FapToBbly - ban should be lifted.

P.S. Probably he received an e-mail from the exchange about the need for KYC - he posted the text of this letter in his message.

I think this users intention wasn't bad in that reply like he didn't copy that for a regular reply where he tried to let others know about update of kucoin. Maybe he mistakenly forgot to put the source link but just for that a plagiarism ban would not be so fair IMO. At least we should think about the real-time situation for this user. Some users make plagiarism because they are no able make replys by own or someone wants to increase their post but this user is trying to let community user know about the KYC update of Kucoin. I think this two types of users activity shouldn't be counted as same level of plagiarism.

That's why i said "Maybe", The moderator said they handling the plagiarism manually case by case but it could be some bot running into the forum and detect this post as plagiarism and report it because of the post has same paragraph/word.

This guy deserves for unban. It's my opinion of course. Look at his merit stats - 136 merit were received by him.

Sad to say OP you forget to read the rules and regulations here in the forum. YOu should remember that in every forum there are rules and regulations that is implemented so do not forget that one as an Standard Operating Procedure to check the rules and regulations in every forum or organization because this is were respect started in a certain organization to follow the rules and regulations.

This is a very useful forum member.  If to block such participants, then whom to leave?  A bunch of trash rats scammers and spammers, they should be in the first place.  These are my views.  Perhaps the owners of the forum others.  Release this helpful member of society.

I always read his messages with great attention and benefit for myself. I always waited for his next messages, because unlike most forum participants, his messages were never empty sound or stupid copying of news. I filed an appeal by writing to the post office, created a thread on the forum, but in 10 days I did not get any response. It is a pity that the forum management treats its users this way. I did not even get an answer for what I was banned.

I think johhnyUA is right.
Any user who once participated in a bounty and was promoted to the rank could write a phrase about the change of rank in this form. There are not so many options as to inform the bounty manager about the change of rank without extra words.

I've noticed the lack of FaPToBblu' posts recently. Thought, he was on vacation or somewhere else. And what i see - he was banned, lol! Just for one phrase, which is typically used for noticing about forum rank promoting. This is definitely not a plagiarism. FaPToBbl'u is one of the most promising new (relatevely) users, he is polite, friendly and shares useful information in rus section, doesn't flood senseless stuff.
No way he should be banned. Please, unban. If you want to keep good atmosphere in RUS local section, you should KEEP those kind of users!!

Dear global moderators, please check FapToBbly's messages for which he was banned. Most users believe that these messages cannot be considered as plagiarism FapToBbly just made a mistake in the design of citation. We are all waiting for this story to collapse in FapToBbly's favor.

Unlike most others who supported FapToBbly, I don't know him himself. I just want to say why he should be unbanned at my opinion.

I think that both examples cited in this topic should not be considered as plagiarism:

— In the first case quoting text in English and commenting in Russian makes it definitely understood, that text in English is a quote. I understood it without any explanation.
— The second case is about situation similar to the filling of a form. It is expected that a technical message would be standard. If you fill a form you would usually use the same grammatical constructions as others, it is formal. The most simple things which are reproduced occasionally and easily by anyone are mot protected by copyright and repeating them should not be considered as plagiarism.

So, at my point of view, FapToBbly should be unbanned.

I want to express my surprise why the issue of appeal has been considered for so long? Is it really so difficult for an administration to make a decision? Who benefits from delaying the question and hanging it in an uncertain state?

I sincerity doubt this is just a case of “common phrases” coincidence. Same format, pontuations, etc... literally the exact same text.

I think the root of the problem here is that the FapToBbly does not speaking English well, and when he tried to inform the English-speaking manager about the change of rank, he had difficulty correctly formulating his request on his own. This is hardly a case of malicious cheating, someone just needed to study better at school, but is this an excuse to forbid someone to continue to be an active member of the community? Or only good English speaking people can claim a place under the Sun in the future? :)

Please, unban FapToBbly.

I understand that formally there is a violation. But you need to consider whether there is malicious intent, whether there is a hidden benefit.
They are not here. He didn't try to pass off other people's thoughts as his own; he made a purely technical message about the change in rank.

My bumps too poetic and epic to be deleted. Also, it divided by another person quote. I don't see anything bad.  


The problem that is "common phrase" in meaning not as phrase that are using very often, but in meaning that this obviously were done without any bad or venal intent. Maybe he was lazy at that moment, and just copypaste to show that his is not more a junior member.
