2017 was a very tough year for me. All efforts that i ever made to make money proofed abortive, then my friend told me about gambling and how he has been making money from it. I didn't buy into this idea because i have had a very bad impression about this game even though i never tried. Am sure you all know that gambling has a bad reputation lol ;D ;D. At a point i had no  other choice than to give it a trial on a sport betting site. Im not an addict gambler but my fy first experience is when i was a kid. Me and my cousins always play with cards and sooner, we bet by putting candies in the pot. Its really entertaining and frustrating whenever i lose the money my mother gave to me as school allowance. Since then i refrain myself on getting involved again until i can control myself and do gambling just for fun.

Just like the normal story of other gamblers, they tried it and promised themselves to not stop it. Gambling doesn't have bad reputation, it is the people that gives it bad reputation because of the undisciplined gamblers that has been sharing bad experience.

Those experiences like they are selling their properties to continue gambling and at the end of it, they get nothing and lose all of it.

I started gambling on football matches, at the start of the 1990's back then there was no internet, and there was only one bookmaker, with a network in almost every kiosk and supermarket, you cut not play on single matches, all bets need to be minimum a tribble, making it much harder to win. I was once just like that but after reading some thoughtful people in the forum that keeps on reminding me that gambling is no place to earn money I just change my mindset and not let gambling take the good of me.

i started my gambling around 2014 but at the time it's not worse like 2017.
In 2017 my gambling activity becomes addictive because almost everyday i do it for more than 5~7 hours, at that time i usually won 0.1~1 BTC but sometimes i lose too.
My highest loses was around 0.4 BTC and after that, i keep thinking that i should stop doing gambling and it works. After that lose i never playing gambling for more than half a year

I guess if you really think about it almost every decision you make in life is a gamble but the thing on the line isn't always money.

yeah men all this thread its just.. incomplete.. if i have to promise me something it would be dont make a work partnership with a gambling addict. i have bad experiences with that.. and its worst when the addict its part of your family.. they even rob u to feed their addiction... and cant take seriously other commitment... i think easy money does not last much... that should be our main goal.. even now with our now bitcoin investors.

So you are telling that you are a millionaire in disguise and made those through gambling, what game you played and made those money, explain those too rather than telling just stories and the transaction details as proof so that everyone would believe what you are telling is true rather than fictional stories :P.

I agree, well as what they say promises are meant o be broken. I think it is best to break that promise if in terms of gambling because in gambling you don't always win, you're one of a kind if your always winning - it’s not good to hold on to that promise of not stopping in gambling most especially if your on a losing streak because you might lose everything just because of the promise. It is okay to gamble but please know your limitations and always have self control.

OMG I feel sorry for you. If you are telling the truth and promised never to stop gambling you are so screwed. Believe me only those who know when to stop end their journey with a positive balance. Most people at least tried gambling or played few times, but only some of them become truly addicted.  It was already in the mind of the person before first try, if he vulnerable for gambling  or not

Its possible for someone who have passive income from their investments and also good at the game they were betting but completely believing the sport betting is more risky like you mentioned.

We are happy if we can win, but we can be sad if we are lost and that is normal. We can suggest people join in the gambling site because we win with ease on one game, but we should remember that we cannot always win on the same game because we depend on the luck. I admit that I am not lucky in gambling, ever since! Most of my gamble online or not online is lost, if we compute and total all my bets, I am in total loss.

My gambling journey started right from secondary school I was even below gambling age then, I had friends who were playing for fun and  I was introduced, I have been playing ever since for fun and I must say that gambling is truly interesting.

easy thing in my opinion, you can just visit gambling sites and see what bets are available. after that, observe how to play it, then install the capital bet. and also, if you bet on a sports match score it is better to first research what team will compete and then bet.

I think what you are doing in gambling is just to have fun,because you are obviously accepting the losses and seems not bother of not winning at all

Exposure to card games during family gatherings and also the curiosity to learn the game got me into gambling. It was also a usual activity with friends in order to kill time.   

It is true that Sports gambling is less risky than casino gambling but let's be honest, it is still gambling and there are still these risks that we deal with. Gambling will always be gambling and as said by a lot of gamblers, even if it is a skill-based game, luck is still needed though for me that is just a coincidence. People should avoid gambling since every bet they will make will give them false hope of winning a lot of money and making it a source of income, in reality, it is the reverse of what they are expecting.

Because I believe that once you entered on gambling you are already 50/50. Fortunately, gamble is about luck that provide success and if it runs on our individual way then we can be fail.  As a gambler, we must accept sportsmanship and its consequences. We must take gamble as an entertainment that give profits even in a modest way.

Sportsmanship in gambling is a must, even if you lose big money you must accept that you're being greedy and that's why you lose big money. Gambling is more on luck that can provides happiness to people, don't be sad if you lose because I know a responsible gamblers will only use an extra money to play which can't affect your total money.

Surely, most of them are not. That's why it is very important to understand that your win chances are smaller than your chances of losing. I mean the chances of winning the same amount as you are betting, of course. If you are betting with 90% win chance, then your chance of winning is higher than that of losing, but you can only win $10 risking $100 this way. And within 10 bets or so, you will most likely lose at least once.

Also I wouldn't say about "serious gamblers", who spend a lot of their time and money on gambling, that they have guts necessarily. In some cases they rather don't have guts for stopping until it's too late.

If gambling was a scam activity, then no one would have continued playing gambling. The rule of thumb is that Gambling will make few people rich and many people poor in very less time. So people keep on playing gambling in order to become rich quickly and they are also ready to take the risk which come with gambling.

Gambling is not all about luck, it may be the most important in some games but not all of the time. It is also about skill, about knowledge and about the experience you've made and earned in the past and numbers of play time. Even in a way of entertaining ourselves, gambling will never be profitable unless you have or you own a casino.

It is true and if everyone knows this thumb rule than many would quit knowing that it is very easily to loose money in gambling then making money from it. But only rationale people would make decisions correctly and rest will continue to gamble in anticipation of making big.

The moment i know how to play that game. I try to make my money big in casino in playing cards on casino but i was wrong. I realized  its easy to lose money than to make money and for me gambling is not about how lucky you are and how you spend money. Gambling is about enjoyment. I think you are absolutely correct about this, people who knew about  Bitcoin before gambling are always more successful than those who started gambling before Bitcoin. I think the knowledge of BTC makes gamblers smarter and more careful in playing.

I think many people poor is wrong sentence here. Most people who play control themselves, they lose amount of money they can afford in exchange for emotions and chance of a bigger win.  They not become poor at the end of the play, they just payed for some entertainment.

A good approach to keep the environment cool but you might know of its risks where you cannot stay calm all the time. When you lose more you will get hurt the most that is why you cannot take it as an absolute entertainment source. However, the efforts are not bad because there is no point if you want to make money while spending the time in risk and pressure does not make any sense.

That’s right, everything should have limitations for you not to be left with nothing. Gambling is a very good source of income but that is if your lucky and as we all know not everyone is lucky in gambling. For me it is imperative that a gambler should have strong self control for him to be able to stop at critical times because having no self control can lead to negative results which is losing all your resources.

This is I think absurd to call gambling a scam activity. It is one of the leading economic activity around the world with as high as $530 billion USD of worth. I think you can really make some good money in gambling if you have good experience and some knowledge about the area you are gambling in. So yeah, you should be part for gambling if you think you can take a chance to make some money.

I agree that gamble part of the entertainment because if we use gambling as a way to make money, we cannot get the win money. Gambling itself need the luck to win, and we don't know when the luck comes. So that we don't need to have a goal to make money from gambling because that will be too difficult to get. But I don't think that gamble can give profits with easy.

Likely OP is winner from gamble, just noticed from OP history. Most likely you are lucky person and that's why you are saying happily that you will continue gambling. I didn't tried it professionally nor I will try. Just occasionally trying it if mind is fine. Otherwise I am not bother to play gamble. So I don't have much history to share.

Indeed, the OP was happy to have won a bet and after that he felt he had become a gambler, it was indeed a decent joy for him, but whether he still felt the same way when he got a losing streak and such events would usually make someone down and it is possible to think otherwise like "I am not a gambler or gambling is not suitable for me to make a profit" etc.

I have come up with gambling because my friend introduced it to me and so i tend to resist at first but when i saw him making profits in gambling, i started to try gambling too. It's really true that we all have our first luck in gambling because i had made profits in gambling but when i started to gamble often, that's the time that i started losing too.

Since 2017 I already heard about gambling site here in crypto industry but I don't want to try this becausebI know when I experienced to win I will never stop. Then it's happened I was try to have some game or to be excact I will try a dice game then I won. Now I can't stop my self in having a game atleast thrice a week.

The only way to prevent from playing gambling is by controlling ourselves so we can stay away from being a gambler. Well people who had been the early Bitcoiners have been making some great money in the game since then. They had the ability to own a huge number of Bitcoin with a low capital amount and this made them millionaires when it was the Bull Run in 2017. Of course those who had owned Bitcoin for gambling before the boom were greatly blessed as well.

I knew this in my early years of gambling because it can be so frustrating when we put in so much money to play a game and nothing profitable comes in then I realized that gambling was for just entertainment and what.

I did start gambling because of my friends,they are making some money and spend it for entertainment which tempted me to do the same things at my teenage but I guess I am not a lucky kid which didn't give much of rewards but later realized that early stage of gambling understanding made me to be a matured person at the later stage of my life.

Gambling is a form of entertainment after a long time you work. Do not try to choose this is a job that helps you have a fixed income. Becoming a gambler is a wrong decision, you are not a lucky guy and make sure you cannot control your emotions, so you lose many games in a row.

For the urge of money lead to me to the world of gambling, and am not regretting my actions in finding ways to become a gambler. Back in 2016, i could see may friends making money through gambling, and i kept my self from be part until when i needed money, that they disown me as their friend and this prompted me to join and become a real and full time gambler but not addicted.

Honestly Filipinos are fond in gambling. It's one of our negative characteristics. I don't know about you but it's fine for me gambling anyways. Since I entered cryptocurrency I only asked the person that introduced me to crypto. I told him if there is gambling in crypto. He said there's none but I researched and eventually found out that there is. So I entered cryptocurrency.

  Why are you saying this mate, we know it gives us good income if we use it properly, it has allot of earning infect there are some friends who are earning only with the help of gambling and they are professional gamblers, so it only needs to find good website that you can trust, after that try to gain experience and get knowledge.

I think even professional gamblers lose too in gambling.Gambling is only based on pure luck and if you don't get lucky most of the time,then you will surely experience losing your bets.Gambling is only good if you are doing it for fun but never expect a fix income from it because it will never really happen.
