You have been permanently banned by a forum moderator, probably due to spam or plagiarism." nickname WhiteManWhite BTT forum link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=485285 I would like to know the reason for my ban. This new plagiarism bot is too aggressive. It should go back 2 or 3 years at the very most. Busting somebody for a "crime" committed in 2015 seems too harsh. Somebody needs to dial it back a bit. I don't know if I agree with that or not right now, but I'm absolutely blown away by the extent of plagiarism here. But I certainly get that there is a difference between someone who might have done it once or twice years ago and someone who consistently employs it as a method to earn money through sig campaigns because they can't write English. Plagiarism is wrong, but the punishment should fit the crime, and maybe there should be a statute of limitation here. Even terrible crimes have a Statute of limitations (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statute_of_limitations).

From where I sit... that was a pattern behavior for Russians with bad command of English in the first few months of their life on forum - no one paid attention to "copy-paste" rule when it came to foreign languages. Regardless, I would advise not to give up and appeal to alternative sigban. IMO, your case is not such appalling.
