Title: Never Give up in crypto (my experience)
Post by: Kimzenibi on May 25, 2019, 07:04:53 AM
I joined crypto last year as a noob, then started learning how to trade & do  airdrops. I kept learning until I decided to start trading myself. I got rekt on several occasions yet I kept the fire burning. I became tired of the hustle after buying into a coin which was delisted causing a massive dip, I had put in 5000$ in that coin and it turned 600$ overnight. Then I decided to take a bow.

I was encouraged by my mentor not to give up, I took it as a cock and bull story initially, I created a bitcointalk account later, scrolling through some forums just reading and learning from pro in crypto space. I decided to give it a second one try.

I added a few coins to my portfolio and abandoned them. Recently I got sacked from my job for no justifiable reason, then the only thing I could think about is crypto. I checked my portfolio yesterday, my 600$ then turned 7200$. Please always be patient. Buy into coins with great future , give it time, never panic sell. I hope you learn from my experience.

This is very insightful, I hope everyone learns from your experience mate. Sometimes holding some good coins especially when price is low is profitable in the long term, but to be sincere, it's not easy to hold that long.

Wow your story is quite similar to mine. The coin I invested too went from $6000 to $600 in a matter of a week but I have not been lucky enough like you to turn back my available amount to higher. Though I haven't lost hope and your case provided me further inspiration not to stop trading.

You have a good timing opening your portfolio and it's quite risky forgetting your portfolio without bothering to look on it, you may not know it but you are already 1000 time richer but you do not know it because the all-time high came and you have no idea that all your coins are on their all-time high, this is not recommended.

That's right, we cannot give up quickly on this investment. The most important thing i learned from previous year is that we have to be patient with the investments we make and don't to sell quickly.

Your investment is a long-term investment for people with abundant savings and no need to use them.
They just need to wait for the market to plunge and buy and set a target to sell x20 x50 x100 times and forget it and continue with their daily work.
Think if you don't have a daily job to make money, what will you live on?

What was those coins? Could you gives us tickers?

Your one profitable trade (from 600$ to 7200$ by hodl strategy) is not a lesson for others. You was just lucky with those coins or lucky with timing. Your first trade (from 5000$ to 600$) was based on the same strategy but you were unlucky.
I made few thousends trades. I'm in 1% traders with biggest trading volume on binance (couple months ago binance was celebrating first birthday and they published such statistics) and i can guarantees you that you were just lucky.

Very inspiring story. I hope all of investors have a patience like you. Honestly all we need in this industry is patience. We need to buy and hold this is a great strategy that we need to do. And I salute you when you encouraged your mentor not to give us. In that situation you stand as a mentor of your mentor. Good decision dude.

Basically, what is becoming the reason why people are not continuing or pursuing the cryptocurrency space better is because of the influence that other people are also imparting to them, one more thing is that, when they risk a certain amount for the first time and the outcome turns out to be negative.

The time you are referring to was one of the worst time of the market even. Now it has recovered pretty much. If you have invested in a great project with possible real uses, there's no reason to panic. I would try to have a tight seat.

This is different from this year, we struggle hard by participating in bounty campaigns but the results that are not in accordance with our performance are really sad. I think more traders have a better chance to stabilize their economy than bounty participants.

If we buy a few coins at high prices and see their value decline, of course, our mentality will start working and usually will encourage to sell at cheap prices, but all of that is a very big mistake because we certainly will be very disadvantage if we continue to be true add portfolios when we experience a big loss because we can get coins at low prices when prices fall even though in the first portfolio we lose but if we don't sell them we can benefit from the second portfolio.

very interesting story because in my opinion if the portfolio has gone down so much like that. the opportunity to return is very difficult it's just that your story is a little different, maybe that is the result of what you learned in choosing altcoin.

Why give up in cryptocurrency? There are people who get fortune here; though there are people who are not fortunate enough. But, cryptocurrency is not about luck, it's about strategies and techniques. For sure, there'll be times you'll lose, but you need to set up everything such that if you lose some, make sure you win some and you learn some. Your story is very encouraging not to lose hope.

So finally, you prove that the patient will give you a good result, and you can change your initial investment and not to think about it for a while. And suddenly, when you come back to your portfolio, your investment was grown bigger and you didn't realize at all. Yes, in any circumstances, we always need to be patient, there will be no instant way to get rich in one night, and he already proves it to us. We need to give some time to see what we will give a good result.

The watchword for crypto investment is never give up. Its very crucial to have such mentality before any attempt to buy crypto. A lot of people don't have such mentality and once the price dip then they will start selling at a very low rate to the strong hands who want to buy cheap.

In the crypto ecosystem, the essential factors needed to survive are basically your level of knowledge you have about the entire space and how well you comprehend this knowledge. If you don't have and know these essential factors, you will always lose money investing in wrong coins. You need to enrich your knowledge and understanding on cryptocurrencies before investing in them.

I also went in to trade when I was 2017. And as long as it certainly I also experienced a price hike and a very sharp price drop. When we panic the mind can not think well and ultimately wrong in taking the decision. I regret having sold my coins too fast and are at low prices. While now the coin price is already in the risen state.

It is always recommend to be patient and just hold the coins that you believe in in order to make profit, and having a wide variety of a portfolio helps in increasing you wins and minimizing your losses, but also you need to know what coins to pick, it might have been easy for you to make that profit from coins you picked last year, but nowadays the market is full of shitcoins that makes it really hard to tell the good ones from the bad ones, but it is always good to be positive and keep hope in the ones that know that are good.

Last year? So why youre post here are merely can be counted? This story is quite good but sometime there are some hidden stuff around youre statement. Wanna guess what it is? Youre 600$ was turned into 7200$? This was the scenario right. Can I ask how many tokens worth of that 600 and what is this project then we will check if youre really saying the true, or just trying to make a good story here. Its more than a bull run effect mate. Its possible but you are sound to fishy.

Crypto is not for weak hands, that's for sure. Your investment here can both depreciate or become several times more expensive in a very short period of time. Many after the first failures give up, and never invest in a crypto anymore. Hope, your story will help many not to surrender at a crucial moment, thank you.

extraordinary experience can turn things around in a fairly short time.
I am personally impressed with people who do not want to give up and keep on trying, the most important thing is if you want to invest, don't just look at the hype, but see the uses of the altcoin for many people.

It will help to boost our trust into investing crypto if we are in positive into these. The more we engage into this, the more we understand the situation and not easily getting down when drops appears.
We can deny how hypes move prices into the top level but somehow it gives a huge difference once it stop. This is why I never follow those hypes or even buying coins that are in hypes already cause we know what possibly be happen next and that's causes losses to mostly all of us last year.

we couldn't get rich instantly here and we will face a lot of ups and downs and everything will get rewarded in time.

On this speculative market, sometimes we need luck to thrive. 600 to 7200 dollars is an impressive profit, x12 initial funds. Anyway, be careful with these altcoins and never put all your eggs on the same basket.
Although it worked for you, I think it's better to invest in traditional altcoins besides the main investment that must be in bitcoin.
Traditional altcoins don't give huge profits like that one you had, but they are safer to invest, thinking on long run.

I already tested myself when the long bear market happen back in 2018 lots of my investment was in critical situation but i never give up to hold all my crypto until in this year of 2019 i know this is the market how it work it always depending the supply and demand.

Theres a lot of people quiting in crypto world because of long bear trend you're lucky to staying in cryptoworld because all of your losses can be back if Bull market back again all you need to do is to positive all the time I expeirence to think of giving up but I realized  its better to stay in this industry because you can earn a good profit for short period of time.

This is what I tell people especially for new coins. They're so enthusiastic and talking about potential and future gains etc. Of course there's nothing wrong with supporting a coin and project you like, especially more so if you are an investor, but we shouldn't ignore or deny how hype moves things. Even with Bitcoin the current rally is from big hype. So we should pause and think. Never jump in and believe the hype.

Being part in a crypto world was never been as easy, here you have to learn how to be patient and just hold the coins that you had believe in, i order to make profit in the future like Dencoin tokens because dencoins make it possible for holders to trade, buy and to sell in the cryptocurrencies.

Very thoughtful of you to share this experience. This lesson goes to all long term investors, do not rush in dumping your coins, the ones you've done thorough research on before holding. The moment you dump at dip, the next moment it goes up, this space is always that way. Many people accumulate your coins when you panic sell.

This is so inspiring. How many years did you kept your coins? Anyway, regardless of the time you hodl your coins, the important here is that you never gave up and that you stand up again with confidence. See the results of your patience? From $600-$7,200. Wow, it really is a high profits. Congratulations on your successful journey.

We had been advised to never panicked and never sell at losses unless your coins or tokens are being delisted and going to die

Good positive story.
It seems like some of us needs to feel that loss before they could even say that being patient is the key.
Been patient for like 3 years by now and still I know it aint enough.

I want to wait for more. It would be very lovely to see the future where you take part with. Just the mere having of bitcoin is the key to it.

Now I can see a lot of changes when I try to compare before and now.

That's right, we cannot give up quickly on this investment. The most important thing i learned from previous year is that we have to be patient with the investments we make and don't to sell quickly.

That right if you have more patience in yourself and you can encounter bad market condition probably your investment was in critical situation but as i said more patience will make you success in the future when the market is fully recover.

Concerned about your expulsion from your previous job and maybe this is the best way that has been set with destiny with you being fired so you can focus on crypto because this is a very promising future.
patience is very much needed in investing in cryptocurrency but unfortunately, until now it has been difficult to implement and when the market has decreased there are still many people who are panic selling.
I hope that from your experience it can be a lesson for all of us who are still hesitant about crypto growth and who are still complaining because the market situation does not grow.

don't give up easily before struggling, the long journey of Crypto and the season often changes so you have to be able to get through various obstacles that exist in Crypto.
The mistake you fail is your experience and can be a lesson later, and don't fall easily, get up and make sure if you can make big profits and you can succeed.

I have the same experience as yours, I left my job just when the market is growing in 2017, it's a great decision all my coins are in all-time high and I was reaping the profit of my labor and investment, but this is a cycle investors can do it again and again as the potential of the top coin are not yet in it's fullest.
Same stories, different people everywhere. After finding the holy trading strategy and having enough cash employees quit the job for full-time trading. All time high prices are no guaranteed of the future performance of the next market cycle.

WOW, I love your story. Even though some people may not be as lucky as you, but man, I'm happy that crypto helped you back up during those rough times. I participated in ICO's back then and I'm holding some of those, and some I already sold because they are just dead. However, reading in this forums really helped me a lot too and started looking at IEO's that has great potential, as a toy fan, I participate in a digital collectible (http://ecomi.com?utm_source=ecomilx) + AR project which sold out their private sale. Me loving what the project does and hodling their token is like hitting 2 birds with 1 stone.

I believe in any aspect we work, and we should have a "Never Give Up" attitude because that will help us to stay survive in any condition even if we have to face difficult situations. Never give up make us strong than before, we can pass every difficulty situations we have, we can always survive in many times, and we can also take benefits from what we did.

Although it is difficult, we should always remember what the reason we did that thing so we could stay no matter it is hard is. Besides that, if we can know the meaning of Never Give Up, we will give respect to what we got, and we can appreciate any result we can get later.

I think it's best if you invest in potential altcoins such as btc, xrp and eth that know the token that really will make you big because those tokens are longterm and have the potential to inevitably avoid the risky, especially that's in trading and buying altcoins if you really want to invest in altcoins and earn a lot even if it's been a long time to buy altcoins that are in the top 50 altcoins in coinmarket and I'm sure the opportunity is great for your profit.

Trading has always risk, just buy token on your research. By your loss funds, you gain experience and by this you dividends was 2200 USD.

OP  do a trade but stopped then eventually invest and hold, the experience is all about investing and  holding tokens and waiting patiently to earn profit.  It is actually an inspiring tale on how day trading rekt him but giving it a chance and study the market and research on what he must invest, he bought and forget that he has them until he was layed off on his job .

I is always best to buy and hodl promising tokens. who knows what is less than a cent token today would be a hundred of dollar in the future.

The hard truth is, the future belongs to those who don't give up easily. Taking a look last year,  most abandoned the crypto space, sold at loss, said many thing because the market tanked, but since this year there have been a turn around, in this case who will they blame?

As soon as I learnt how to dig for projects with amazing prospects due to the utilities they offer (http://bit.ly/2K0GUby), I've become a more stable investor in the crypto space. Patience is key in all this.

Holding good coins and believing them matters a lot, just like those who bought ETH or BTC in the beginning of the year, or when it dumped hard last year and decided to hold.

What crypto offers is something everyone should be serious with. I think the problem is, most people don't do research on any coin and will always follow hype, when it now backfires they will be discouraged and quit. But when someone holds a promising coin, even if it dumps just give it time, hold and keep calm.

Crypto has a lot of potential for those who never give up bu for your story I think is based on luck without any define strategy. This type of investing is very dangerous and sooner or later it can clean your whole account and you will be back to zero.A good trading strategy has a great deal of research into it plus effective money/risk management.

In every investment there are always risk and crypto in no exception. I got rekt by holding my tokens and not selling them when it was valued at thousand dollars. But, it didn't stop me instead i keep on learning and it helps me become more experienced. Now I am more experienced and smart on my investment.

It's seems easy to gain a lot of money in cryptos because you always heard someone who bought BTC at 100 USD and sold at 19000 and become rich, but most people just sold before and not became rich
You have to study the market, do a lot of research, be active here in BitCoinTalk and minimize the risks

Wow. Congratulations buddy. Your patience just paid off. But I would advice you take out a little of your profit or even the capital and keep hold the remaining quantity.

Yours is a wonderful but quite unusual experience, in these times when the only safe cryptocurrency seems to be bitcoin, and investing in altcoins is almost always a guarantee of long-term failure.

However, I think you are right to insist on this wonderful business, because like you I had gone away after losing thousands of dollars during the great fall of last year, and once I have re-entered trading, I realize that no other business in this world has the potential for profit than crypto trading.

I totally agree with you, unfortunately the cryptocurrency market is so arranged at the moment that it is too easy to manipulate with it and you can lose all your money very quickly or you can get an incredible income, so you should always invest exactly only those money that you not scary to lose and best opinion is investing exactly in top altcoins or bitcoin and just hodl till best price and sell.

You've really got me motivated, there is no essence in giving up. Why give up whiles the future is very bright? Why give up because you lost a penny? Why give up because you don't see any proper returns yet? Give it another try, who knows that point is your breakthrough? Never give up in crypto because crypto can surprise you one day.

it's no longer about patience, in my opinion you are very lucky to choose altcoin/tokens with good potential, when you buy it then leave it and suddenly you see again, wow my capital from 600$ now can be 7200$ means you are lucky. many people do the same as you but can't be as lucky as you. patience must be, but rather you are super lucky.

Good thing since we are in a bullish market but if it is bearish, i wonder how many of you will hesitate to HODL or even accumulate more while the price is cheap. Cryptocurrency is the new thing today especially if you know what you were doing you will literally gonna be a millionaire next year if you have invested hundreds of thousands Bitcoin.

I think that your experience is very inspiring. Nothing is impossible on crypto currencies. Coins that were once considered useless but now provide tens of benefits. Indeed we must always be patient because everything we experience must have a lesson. We must always be positive and not give up. Therefore, if now our coins are including shit coins, we should be patient in holding them. nothing is impossible in this world especially the crypto currency so we can hold it until the coin has value in the market. We must be sure that we will continue to strive and fight for the best.

This is very insightful, I hope everyone learns from your experience mate. Sometimes holding some good coins especially when price is low is profitable in the long term, but to be sincere, it's not easy to hold that long.
That is amazing. Do not give up easily. When you failed, do not feel down and give up just learn from it to do better next time. Great experience, you never expect but it is given into you. You just have to trust your investment, though it is for a long time to wait and almost lose on the market.

The key word here is "potential coins". No shit coin can make you rich in crypto. My portfolio is made up of only BTC, ETH XLM XRP BNB and some few potential altcoins. No matter how much these coin will drop, I know I can still make profits from them if I continue holding.

If its a shitcoin learn to give up on that because their price can’t recover anymore. Hold the coins with more potential and if you do make a mistake don’t give up yet because you can still start over again and look for a much good coin. I also failed on my investment, its sad to lose money but you have to forget that and start to invest again, you can get that losses if you gain profit again.

Don't give up in cryptocurrency! Specially today that bitcoin goes 8661 dollars and ethereum surge up to 267 dollars. That is really awesome for those people who have invested during February 2019. I think they have more than 300% profits if they will sell today. Cryptos are the future and it is up to us who are believing for them.

That notwithstanding, you should not because you have got such profit from cryptocurrency, now depend solely on it. That will be a wrong decision. Try to invest in something different from cryptocurrency, so as to have plan B or something to fall back on when the need be.

Just always pick the coin that has a future. Shitcoins are just a gamble so don't put so much money into it. And I also hope that the major coin in your portfolio is btc OP so you'll gain much more in the future. I think the year of shitcoins has ended and was buried long time ago in 2018 so just buy coins that are always on the top.

That is whooping over 1200% from your reinvested amount, though you are lucky and your timing is right, I suppose you invested in some new projects that have made very huge pumps because I have checked bitcoin and some older altcoins, none have done up to 1000% from their lowest this year, Binance should have been it but it has managed to around 700%. Good luck to you, I would advice you still hold more as the bull season will make you more profits in some months to come.

Yes, we shouldn't be greedy and we should wait for the profits on the investment and instead of holding it for long terms. Sometimes greedy will make us hold them for the long term and it will surely lead to zero value for some coins. So the crypto investment is risky which we should sell them when we make some huge profit.

This is a huge move. I've been here for a long time now but the RNG just doesn't work for me. It's probably because I still don't know what should be the right coins that I should invest on.  Anyway, I'm not really giving up because all the money I used for investment are just from bounties. So initially, I don't have anything to lost.

Right coins are those with great use cases which are appealing to the masses and have a team capable of delivering a working product (http://bit.ly/2K0GUby).

There are really ups and downs in cryptocurrency. That is a great story and it portrays most of the people experience here in cryptocurrency. Greediness is really one of the problem everytime but we should always be mindful and always think of great timing for us to let go of pur investment. Always be patient and keep your cool in investing because that’s how you make a fortune. Always have a plan device a plan A and B and C and so on etc. Nevertheless this is a very wonderful story and it’s a very great motivation.

Wow, this is really encouraging and I can understand what you would have gone through after your sack, with this your experience, people would understand that crypto has done more good than damage to its users.

Sometimes, I know that it can be really disheartening and discouraging to see ones investment go down the drain, especially when market keeps Deeping after we purchase some coins, but one thing I never get worried about is that the market will always bounce back and our investment returned to us with huge profit provided we invest in projects that has quality products. You were lucky to have invested in good projects which is why you probably were able to get your investment back.

I have the same experience as yours, I left my job just when the market is growing in 2017, it's a great decision all my coins are in all-time high and I was reaping the profit of my labor and investment, but this is a cycle investors can do it again and again as the potential of the top coin are not yet in it's fullest.
It is not really a bad idea for one to leave a job for what we believe in, but I usually tell people that before you do so and follow other people’s step, there must be a guarantee that whatever we get involved in will yield a very good profit in the long run that will make our leaving of the job justifiable.

Before you left your job, I am sure you must have been certain that your investment are the right ones, which is why we have to ensure that we always invest in projects that has real life working products for our investment not to disappoint us and make us regret ever leaving our job. Well, for me, the only thing I am planning to leave my job for now is trading, because I believe that with the experiences I have gathered and my success so far, it will be worth it.

@Kimzenibi I’m very happy for you and maybe your sacking was a blessing in disguise, reading your story reminds me of mine cause when I joined the crypto world I knew nothing about crypto’s, but I used to constantly read here and gain knowledge. We both gained income because we choose to hodl on to our coins, and refused to indulge in panic sales which unfortunately many investors resort to as the markets takes a dump. I see you have not mentioned the coin names that made you rich, if you could share it here it would help us all check thoss coins and invest in them.

that's the advantage of long-term investment. but unfortunately, most people don't trust and be patient with long-term investments, they just want to profit overnight. in my opinion it is true that to get a large profit from crypto, it must be patient especially in long-term investments.

But I don't believe that it works to all crypto adopters. We can't deny some of us came here since from the very beginning but until now they are still here and continue their support. That is pretty amazing cause they are the true believers and not just those people who came late but they are also the one who easily get disparate once the market dumps.

patience is very important here, if we are impatient we cannot last long here, because Crypto requires a long enough process to get big profits.
of course there are many risks here so we must be able to overcome all the risks that are here.
If we can manage well and be patient, chances are we can get big profits here, but it's not easy to get it, it takes time and struggle.

I joined crypto last year as a noob, then started learning how to trade & do  airdrops. I kept learning until I decided to start trading myself. Never give up will the important things that we need to have in cryptocurrency, especially if we are losing from the trading in previous time.
No one knows when we can make the profit again but as long as we can trying the best we can do, I am sure that we will get a big reward in the future and that is called for never give up.
You don't have to be sad if somehow you are getting lose from trading or the investment because there will be a time for you to see your balance will be bigger in someday because in the cryptocurrency, there is a time to go up and down and it's always happening day by day.

we really will not know what will happen in the future, since the decline that occurred in the past year there must be many people who lose the value of their portfolios, if they are able to be patient and do not panic sell in the future we will return to profit from assets that held because crypto is very volatile so price movements occur very quickly and prices still have the possibility to rise again

This is amazing and it is very encouraging.
That notwithstanding, you should not because you have got such profit from cryptocurrency, now depend solely on it. That will be a wrong decision. Try to invest in something different from cryptocurrency, so as to have plan B or something to fall back on when the need be.
This is my goal too for now, to raise funds through my crypto investment in other to establish a real life working projects. I have very great business idea, and Since I don’t have the capacity to raise fund through ICO, I think raising fund through crypto investment will still work.

One more thing I have also learnt from op is that he was patient and never gave up, despite the fact he was seeing his initial dyeing coins, but as we can see that with time, the coins picked up for him unexpectedly, so a lot of us who are feeling to anxious right now should just calm down, because anxiety is what leads people to panics sell.

Being a hodler of cryptocurrency is hard indeed but it is a necessity when someone has been suffering a loss, he will not find in the strategy of trading to recover he lost money. So, just hodl itself who will give him the money back, it will be good when someone comes to crypto investment he should have a high patience because it will help them from the huge loss.

Take the opportunity to be in crypto while it's on the early stage.
Price volatility gives a high risk for all of us, but that also give us a great opportunity to trade.
We can experience bull or bear market, but if we know how to manage the situation, we will survive here and continue to make money.
Having trust in crypto and being smart, is a good recipe for anyone to survive.

If you have such target and it's already been reached, always follow your system and sell it out, if you plan to play again or reinvest back wait for the correction to happen and buy it back with a much lower value to ensure that you'll going to hold more coins from the previous that you've had.

Patience is the key. if you are sure of the future of the coin you bought, then how bad is the current price, how much in the price that falls, never panic. keep holding it, if necessary you don't need to go back to crypto for a while, to avoid panic of course. but never give up enthusiasm, price changes will definitely occur on every coin, so there are times when prices rise. wait for that to happen!

The buying and selling has to be a stand decision on whether long or short and if the project turn down just be patient as it can't remain like that forever and it will not be when you sold the green start greening .

This is the law. If you were at that moment when everything falls you just have to wait. It may even take a year. Then everything will be fine.

The rule - never to give up, really is an important quality of a person for success. To work with cryptocurrency, this also applies to those who have learned to wait patiently and do not get out of their way to get the result. In addition to the above, I would like to attribute the possibility of a crypto market to show us repetitive opportunities. This is manifested by its cyclical nature. If you can see this, then your chances of success in cryptocurrency trading will increase.

I do not think holding is a panacea. Many people for 2018 have lost a lot. Many of them are unlikely to return their losses. To have a profit, you need to keep abreast, to move your funds from one asset to another. The OP did not write anything concrete, but it seems he is an active investor|trader. This is not just HODL.

Nice lines you got here. I think anyone who buys into a crypto coin should be patient enough especially if you are in for long term. Panic selling when dips happen is not usually the solution.

I have a slightly similar experience although mine isn't with trading, I have been doing airdrops and bounties from the beginning and I always hodl the coins with good potential and sell the bad ones, I once bought held a coin that j felt was good and I lost over $500 from holding it, now it is almost too worthless to look at but recently, that same coin started doing wonders and not only have I recovered all my loses, I have even made good profit, patience is a virtue in this crypto space.

Who hold until now, will of course hold until new bear market comes. This time is probably the worst time for selling. We know where the Bitcoin´s bottom is and from this point we will go only up.  8)

Cryptocurrency is about patience and we should bear in mind everything good takes time. Crypto is not actually a short term profitble investment, hold your good coins and smile tomorrow. We have seen a lot of pumps recently and some coins that where previously abandoned doing well, don't ever panic sell or give up cause one coin you hold today might make you super rich tomorrow.

In addition to trading , i participate in some few Bounties and airdrop. In a nutshell, Rome wasnt built in a days . It requires consistency , perseverance and experience to make money in Crypto.

Keep your spirit always high for the work you are doing it as your profession and never feel discourage. One should not give up easily. Sometime we have to face the tough time. As we know crypto market never runs same way it moves up and down and highly volatile. Crypto trading can be done by those who has high patience level. I am a long term holder even I am bearing huge loss in some of my long term holding coins but I am positive that these all coin will give me again good profit that's why I keep holding it. I would say keep adding high potential coins to your portfolio and sell the shit coins and do not expect magic from shit coins. Your story is an inspiration for those who give up quickly.

That is true. Be patient and never give up. Quitters don't win. There are things that we can do now to strengthen ourselves. If we have spare time, learn something new everyday. If we learn new things in a day, then we will expect greater things to happen - knowledge and skills will be developed. This is the reason why we shoild value the learnings.

This is actually a great come back story. Thanks for the encouragement. I have actually lost some funds to in the crypto world but I ain't giving up yet. I strongly believe something good is going to come out of crypto, so am nott relenting.
One of the hardest but most lucrative thing to do in the crypto world is to HODL a good coin/token.

That's normal before earn, lost something first. You did blaming yourself for wrong decisions. That's why you now take right and then go for future.
Learning is a process, when you build strong foundation you'll be able to compensate from your trading activities, always prepare yourself in case you made a wrong decision think of a better way to improve instead of giving up right away, there's always an open door if you choose to continue.

Giving up is like dumping yourself too. Your efforts, your hardworks and all regards to the time you are engaging before in the market. All we have to do is have patience because this is the key to oursuccess, emotional stability is also needed so that when prices go down we dont have to panin in such ways. Encountering a loss is really a part, but of course to lessen or to avoid it we have to be in a project that can give us a good profit like the dencoin tokens. Its one of the promising coin that is good to have. So in return we dint have to give up everything when we feel like hopeless being in the cryptomarket.

You know what? If you joined cryptocurrency with enough money, you will probably earn. Unlike with people who don't have enough money to buy bitcoin or other cryptocurrency, we will work hard only to get enough money to invest. However, it might be better if you already here in crypto space just to work and you become successful.

Yes, it takes a lot of patience to be a crypto enthusiast. Some of those coins you have in your portfolio with great potentials, it's good to hold for long term especially when there are development updates regularly. Thanks for sharing your experience. Sometimes the moment you sell off at dip that's when an uptrend will begin, so patience is the key. I believe the future holds a lot for crypto, adoptions are coming.

It was because the OP never depended on the outcome of his investment in crypto that made him not to sell off what he had, but to keep holding them.
Although, it is better to invest when price is low and hold for long term.

Motivational story. But there are times when you, for example, bought a certain coin for $1000 and a month later your investment turned into $100. You get upset and stop following the project. A year later, the coin is again worth $1000, but there was a SWAP, and your coins are worth nothing, because you missed the moment of exchange.

The problem is, most people tend to give up at the slightest thing without knowing it takes courage to achieve most things in life.
Therefore we should learn to be patient and hardworking.

Well, for what I can see in you, you made your experienced to become what you are now.
It is good to see that you've became sharpened by it, and I'm glad that you've made it.
I guess, with your experienced here in crypto it will inspire other community here in the forum.

Of course, one of the key lessons in crypto is to stay determined and focused irrespective of the market condition. Once the project or coins in possession have proven their potentials and capabilities through the personal study/research, investors or holders ought to stay calm and wait patiently for the coin to initiate its bull run. Giving up should be out of the options.

Cryptocurrency is unpredictable. Once you've start investing in cryptos, you have to prepare yourself for the worst. It's not always positive. It's not always earning profit, there are a lot of struggles in the long run. Just keep the fire burning.

I would like to know the name of the coin you invested in that later turn to 7200$ either way I'm happy for you cos its really not easy to make it big in crypto without working so hard and not dependent on a single coin ,once again congrats
So it is common sense he must be talking about Bitcoin because none other coins has been able to reach such a huge value but Bitcoin. And it is very obvious that one should not give up when it comes to making money in crypto. It is just you have to invest at a time when the market rate of the coin you want to invest in is very low and you are able to wait for years to reap 100000X profits.

Knowing how many bounty hunters have experienced that projects are not getting or paying their job is painful to think of it but it is really in the crypto unavoidable to be involved with scam projects or bounty scams because risky crypto is so now very hard to earn bounty.

One of the mistakes some folks make is the notion of coming to the crypto space to get short term profit. If it is not forthcoming, they then easily get tired and start professing negatives about cryptocurrency.
Those who stay rugged till the end despite how tough it might be, live to say the good story later.

that true my friend and that is also the reason on why others are now giving up . i was once a bounty hunter but i now quit doing bounties because my efforts are only being wasted . i switch on a more legit campaigns ( sig campaigns that pays in btc ) though the payout is little but thats better than nothing at all   .

my own scenario shows that im still not giving up to earn some cryptos because i do have a dream and i believe that i can reach it  with the help of cryptocurrencies .

I wonder if this story is true, maybe the OP can give what coins are invested in this story so the comunity can check the truth.

My experience that inspires me never give up if join crypto, patience is the key to your success, emotional stability is needed so that when prices go down do not panic, if you panic you will rush to sell assets so you also suffer losses.

Sometimes things like this really can't be trusted indeed, but some people experience it. Yes, it takes a lot of patience to reach this point. But we cannot expect the same thing to happen again. This is very difficult. So that the only way is to get profit little by little.

Time heals everything and the fact that you may slip along the line does not mean give up, look forward to what lies ahead of you, the price for not giving up because this price is always greater that the price of giving up.

When i'm newbie i always risk in gambling site then i more often lose still i don't give up and i earn big so i think there's always a chance even it so hard so try and try is the best to do then here in crypto you can lose a lot in an instant like you got scam or hack, lose in your investment in trading site and more still think also the positive things here like crypto works like this like think the vice versa of negative things here
I will risk more in trading than in gambling. I do not believe that we have gains in gambling because its a matter of luck for me. In trading, you can plan every execution that you will take. In short, you have 50 percent chance to take profits in trading and that chance will become 70 percent if the market is bullish and you have a lot of TA.

You are lucky enough by not quitting, you must be thankful to the person you encouraged you. In this crypto world sometimes we need to believe it because we don't know when it will pump. If you lose everything and start to quit just remember what are your goals why you start investing.

Putting too many emotions in this field will make you depressed if you can't handle it. But what is good from is that even you failed, you still believed.
Truly patience is a virtue.

Courage to start will be the basis of crypto trading, even when experiencing losses. Therefore, start with small capital to minimize losses, while learning to understand the character of crypto coins, especially any news that has the potential to increase crypto prices.
To become a professional does take a long time, but can be done gradually so that eventually it often gets profit when trading. Indeed, it is impossible to get profits continuously, one day they will definitely suffer losses. Therefore, don't give up when you lose, and always be optimistic that profits will be more often experienced.

I will never give up in cryptocurrency because always have chance how to earn much profit with bitcoin and altcoin investment, some time you will be sad when you sell your assets at lower price.
Forget about your emotion when you are inside the market. There's no place for someone who's to emotional because you will be broken if you are too dependent with what you feel. No one will give up on this market because we have seen on how profitable it is to hold and to trade.
Have been many times of corrections and it's very encouraging to see the growth after overcoming it.

All right, you need to turn off emotions and make decisions only with a cold mind, like a robot. Only in this case there will be a chance for success, in all other cases it will be either short-term luck or failure.
No, not really like a robot but settle of your emotions that can drive you to make wrong decisions. We people normally have different emotion but if its with the market you should be aware of it. Being patient and calm will help you to become successful and right decision making will allow you to have a nice fate on this market. It's all in your hands on how you will react on the market.

yes, I agree, the most important thing in trading is not to panic. when a sense of panic dominates, it will be easy to take action in trading, see prices drop a little, feel panic afraid of loss, it will immediately quickly sell it.

When i'm newbie i always risk in gambling site then i more often lose still i don't give up and i earn big so i think there's always a chance even it so hard so try and try is the best to do then here in crypto you can lose a lot in an instant like you got scam or hack, lose in your investment in trading site and more still think also the positive things here like crypto works like this like think the vice versa of negative things here
Dream, believe and survive!

We need to dream because we cannot jive into our objectives without our plan. Our dreams become the guide in order to get our goals. It is also an inspiration wherever we feel we want to quit.
Believing in our capability can boost our confidence. If we don't believe to our skills in trading, you can't make profits. Don't disappointed to our skills because we cannot execute if we have doubts. If we fail then try again. Trading is also a trial and error.
Lastly, survive! If we lose, think that its just a challenge that we need to step on. In our life, we are all experiencing downfall and obstacles. But remember, you can never be live in this world if you are weak. So, if you fall then you should stand. Continue to walk.

We have to become fittest in order to survive! That is what Herbert Spencer written in his book. Trading needs patience and determination. Taking profits are not easy.

Your testimony, no doubt, has once again given me the reason to keep the fire burning. I have invested in tons of projects only to sell at a very low price just to salvage the remaining available capital.

These days, however, I just buy coins or tokens that I have a strong belief in and leave them for some time. I do hope my story changes for the better soon.

Personally, I believe in holding the top 10 altcoins; they will always rise in value in a few months time just like their value had increased in recent time relative to how they were last year

That's the hope of every bounty hunter to get the project they are promoting listed in a decent exchange, that way they can monetize their rewards.
If the past profitable bounty hunting will be repeated again, selling right away is a bad idea, you'll hold it longer and wait til the project progresses as it could give better value on the reward you earn.

Certainly it is important not to panic. There are times to buy and times to sell, and it can sometimes be difficult to identify them. But don't panic just because a price is falling. Look at the project and see if iyt still looks good for the long-term. Look at volumes as well - price drops with a tiny volume don't mean as much as with larger volumes, and can really be misleading as to the marketcap of the coin and the general sentiment.

That's right, we cannot give up quickly on this investment. The most important thing i learned from previous year is that we have to be patient with the investments we make and don't to sell quickly.

Cryptocurrency is not an investment that provides big profits in one night. The price of a coin or token must be influenced by the success of the project or achievement in the whitepaper. Investors will certainly see a project for the long term because it is impossible for a new project to produce something in a short time

i have come to the realization that giving up is for the immature and less experienced. Why give up because you fell? why give up because you lost some huge amount of money? why give up because you are tired? Before you ever give up on anything, consider and note why you started in the first place and if it makes sense to you, then don't give up, look forward to what lies ahead and get moving.

never give up, but with the rest of 2019 I don't think there is anything big going to happen, everything is still the same and it will probably continue in the following year, because it seems bitcoin and crypto won't be phenomenal

I think the holding for the long-term with cryptocurrency is the best way to make a lot of money. And at the end of this year, I think the price of BTC will grow up again to $20,000 and the market will recover, a lot of big cryptos will release and attract a lot of investors.

I hope you learn from my experience.
crypto is very volatile and also full of surprise, i do believe patient is the key of everything when it comes down into investing. I do believe in crypto and i do think the future is really bright for crypto.

It's easy to tell everyone to have patience, and I don't think every person has that motivations same as we have right now. We can't force other people to be motivated, because in general they need a quick results rather than waiting for several times. Patience cannot be learned by just one word, it takes long series of experience before you can attain it. Crypto, indeed have bright future but you should first study the community where you belong of; before choosing to hold their asset and be part of the growing value of their currency.

As I recall, way back 2017, when I was trying to fill my portfolio with cryptos, and that time, cryptos are raging, my 4000$ reaches more than 8000$ in a matter of months, however, when BTC was starting to fall, and I HODL firmed on my cryptos, because I do believed that won't last for long, and it will able to recover again.

to my surprise, my 8000$ turn to 500$ in just a few weeks.

Because of that, I left my crypto world for more than a year.

It is hard to say. There is a big problem with fraudsters. I invested in several projects coins earned on the hunt. And all I see today is how slowly the team destroys the project. So it is difficult to name all investments as investments in the future.

Also, this space has come to stay and with the recent growth in the market it is crystal clear that more people are getting involved while those who abandoned it last year are coming back gradually. Let's seek knowledge first and success will follow, because it is the right knowledge that will direct us on how to key into potential coins etc.
