I'm holding BTC and ETH for couple of months. I already have gotten great profit from ETH, should I hold more? Or I shouls have moved to LTC which also looks like a good investment for now. Please share your opinion, why or why not?

It is too early to invest in other coins. Course is not fixed. There is a possibility that you will not get much profit if you are now exchanged  ethereum. If you are planning to exchange Ethereum then only for Bitcoin, so far it is the most stable and profitable.

Instead of converting your Eth to LTC, why not just add more funds for LTC? I can sense that Eth is going to move forward higher soon especially once the big bull run of Bitcoin will happen. This is the time to hoard Bitcoin, Eth and some more top altcoins. LTC too has a good potential for more growth soon.

My advice is that you keep holding BTt and Eth, but if you want to try LTC I suggest in a not large amount, you must slowly and wisely choose the LTC coin as an investment choice.

maybe it will be good if you convert 5~10% from your BTC into LTC because i believe that price of LTC will be around 0.02~0.025 btc for the next years

i suggest you keep holding eth, value gain in 1 month biggest than LTC i guess.
but you can take yours, its only my opinion, LTC is also good, and a great potential to investing not say ltc is bad, but im prefer ETH than ltc.

If you want to invest in LTC do not sell the whole ETH. Just allocate a little bit of bitcoin and ether and buy LTC on them. In my opinion this is the best tactic.

If you are long term holder then continue to hold ethereum until the price touch to your goal or if you think that Litecoin can be bring you a good profit then why not add more funds if have an extra money.
For me if I get profit I sell that coin and wait for the down to buy back again because the price always a scenario of pump and dump.

I think Ethereum is best to hold on long term, but if you want sell half Ethereum and buy litecoin because maybe litecoin will grow before reward mining halving. But also litecoin proves over time that proce grow so is a good investment.

This must be your own choice. However, i am continue to keep my Ethereum. The rise in the market is first affecting Bitcoin and Ethereum. Also, in the short term i think the Ethereum price will increase more than Litecoin.

Both coins you are holding right now are performing well, if you are thinking to invest to another alt, you should plan it properly, as you have said LTC is also quite moving good and it's really attracting investors, you can invest part of your earnings from BTC and ETH or use additional money to invest with
LTC so it can be an additional profits for your investment, try to have much deeper assessment before dealing with this additional coins to have.

I think it all depends on the strategy you choose. For example, if you choose the strategy of the game on the market in the short term, then it was logical to choose the growing coins and pour their assets into them to make money on short-term growth. Moreover, you can still look at the growth of a particular coin. For example, if you see that LTC has the ability to grow more than ETH, then it would be logical to pour ETH into LTC, wait for growth, sell and then buy the next crypto asset. As for long-term strategy, then of course it is better to buy top-end Altcoins and BTC, since for at least 2 years they will give a good profit.

Ethereum holds the price well. Just as litecoin. But ethereum expects big changes. Many predict a big increase in this regard.

I would advice you to use part of your profit in ETH and buy LTC. LTC halving is on the way price won't remain the same. Don't close your ETH holding hold for more profit.

My thoughts on this are twofold.  For one, ETH and LTC are vastly different investments.  But, on a purely profit basis I'd say for the next couple months better to HODL LTC because the block rewards are being cut in half in like 70 days.

Well if you like to earn more then you should hold your ETH no need to convert LTC because ETH is a potential altcoin, I'm sure it will increase for more.

Its better to continue holding ethereum we already on a bull market and the price of ethereum is still low if you compare on the last bull run and take note this is the 2nd altcoin in the market it will surely grow faster or follow bitcoin movement so far now dont switch to other altcoin  because its too early to predict what will happen in the next couple of month but if you gain profit then take it dont be so greedy.

I think the development of LTC prices is really interesting. well, when you see the potential at that, you might need to exchange it, especially if you really need an LTC compared to ETH. however, for now, I still believe in ETH, so I only hold bitcoin and eth in my competitor.

I think you should more. Because all we see the fast and continues progress of eth every day that will passed. So I think it is good to hold and take a risk because it looks worth it when the price will continue to increase and you will get a very good income. Even the potential of LTC is also looks good but for me ETH is better and fast grower rather than LTC.

The good thing is that you hold more BTC and ETH and some other altcoins that are now always rising in price every second, including LTC too, because the more you hold the more profit you will get.

I think you should take profit and look for a new cheaper entry point, but if you can take the risk you should hold until a new year ATH is reached. Maybe $11k/$400 btc/eth respectively.

Yes, you can hold ethereum if you want and you can also buy litecoin if you want too. I am sure that you will make a profit from bitcoin, ethereum, and litecoin (if you decide to buy later). I cannot make decisions for you, but I can tell you how I would act if I were you. I would sell 50% ETH and invest the money in LTC.

I would suggest you to hold on ETH because the chance of again hitting the ATH by ETH is high while LTC might reach at a maximum of $400. In fact, it's not time of thinking about altcoin.

Both are good coins also both has a large volume circulating around the exchange. For me I think just based it on use, in LTC I think for me it's just a lite version of Bitcoin which can only be used as a payment but the Ethereum for me is more flexible than the LTC based from their uses. Happy to hear other peoples insight as well it might change my perspective to this topic.

If you are optimistic about holding Ethereum, why do you have to exchange it for Litecoin? You should have understood the market conditions, the bull was present this season. I think it's better to hold Ethereum for now, or you can see the achievements of the Bitcoin SV lately. It also seems suitable for you to consider.

The development of Ethereum is very interesting in the recent movements that are very strong and try to pump again but if considered with LTC I would prefer Ethereum because it is very good for the future, indeed the LTC is also a potential coin and if confused both for future investments, especially for Bitcoin which is increasingly pumping and market schemes like this are very difficult to guess sometimes pumping back quickly, ETH or LTC are both very good but we are still better at holding ETH.

actually ethereum has a slightly slow growth compared to the growth of bitcoin on the market. that won't be a problem because ethereum has their own pump market. in fact when bitcoin increases ethereum it doesn't follow much and after that ethereum has their own improvement.

Actually it is very difficult understanding to choose more coins for investment. Even you are right one think to take ethereum for hold more time. We are knows that ethereum more Number king currency and a larger marketcap, investor, volume everything. So mark the real you can hold ethereum at any moment.

You should hold more because we are at the bull run stage everything can be possible sooner or later. Eth can more expensive than before thats why you must need to hold it and aim for the right price you want to sell. Soon eth will touch down 300$ you need a little patient.

ETH all the way. It is useful for crypto community as most of ICOs are still based on ETH platform,  it raised constantly last months and I'm sure the positive trend will continue.

Personally, I see no reason to invest in LTC instead of ETH.

When you want to invest, I suggest you look at the altcoin trading volume that you want to have, ETH and LTC are coins with the top 10 coins, but you can see Ethereum is superior to LTC if you look at the price and rank in coinmarketcap.

I don't think LTC is a better investment than Ethereum. If you carefully look at both coins, then you will see Ethereum gave you huge profits than LTC! Right now, after BTC, I can't see any other better coin than ETH! But, if you personally like the LTC coin then you may convert your 50% ETH into LTC! Though my bet will stick on Ethereum, because Ethereum has a lot of lefts to give!

You can probably used your profits that you got from your ETH and BTC to buy some LTC. I am still holding my ETH though I am very happy with my profits but it will increased more based on my TA. However, you have a good feeling about LTC, too. Buy some of it at a lower price. Did you by any chance follow or stalk this kind of coin? Perhaps if it is at the dip price, it is a good buying now.

I would consider LTC only short trade as litecoin halving scheduled to happen in August, quick profit. Otherwise, my long term decision is ETH, the dominance of eth were lagging however It's next big thing to happen. In the meantime, ETH approaching $300 resistance level, let's hope continues to rise.

Don't be greedy if you have been getting profit then sell it when its price will headed a correction, and this was I'm sure many people has done it including. You can buy LTC from your profit, and guess so LTC has a potential to make its price increase drastically but need a several time. Just suggestion, learn about trading field for you to know when you have to buy and when you have to sell because this ways can give you a profit consistent and you can buy some altcoins from this strategy.

I am jealous of you my friend as you have held both gold coins--bitcoin and ethereum--and you have already tested benefits from Ethereum. LTC brings nothing new to the table. Why would you invest in such an old tech where the main developer dumped all his coins at the peak of the market? Either invest in BTC or if you want similar forks use ZCash or if you want a tax free version of ZCash use BTCz or VOT that bring privacy to the blockchain that BTC and LTC dont have.

You should exchange your all ETH coin with LTC coin. Because now days Lite coin price is increasing in a higher rate. You already know that lite coin is now a profitable coin for investing. I think you should invest in ltc coin. Because some of other investors exchange their all Eth and Etc coin to LTC coin. So I think it is better to exchange with ltc.

I think ETH still have the potential to rise and reach 300$ by next month. ETH is really performing well ever since BTC started rising so I think it is still a good coin to hold for now.

Sure, that's easy to say of course we all know this! But I'm a Litecoin holder for a very long time. I am not very fond of these coins right now. ETH is down because the ICO market is in shambles. And LTC is struggling to keep up with the changing times. There are far more promising coins out there, such as Cardano, NEO, EOS, IOTA, and XLM. You can invest in some of the anonymous coins as well. If you still want to hold on to them, then you can split the holding 50:50 between ETH and LTC.

Both ethereum and litecoin are both good coins so I really can't suggest which is Best to hold. Personally I hold mostly eth but I am not advising you on that because that's my personal opinion.

You need to hold ethereum, look at the marcetcap that ethereum grows well even now the price reaches $ 283 and it shows that the ethereum performance is getting better. So continuing to hold this altcoin, I'm sure before the end of the year ethereum can increase even more than that.

I will also do the same as you say. I think that saving ethereum is better, but there's no harm in having an LTC too, because the growth of the global market will bring both coins up high.

I think Etheruem is better for us to save than other assets now. maybe the BNB and LTC have experienced growth before the increase in bitcoin occurs. and that makes it possible there won't be a high increase in this asset. but the etheruem is slowly very certain in its growth.

The current market price of LTC is $ 106, if you buy it, maybe in June the price will increase by $ 150. Both coins are good for a long term investment,  on a lowee risk, i would prefer to hodl ltc over eth, though eth have been a bit stable, the choice is to invest or hodl wisely.

Don't switch BTC to any other altcoins if you want to invest for a long term target. It is better if you HODL both BTC and ETH while you buy LTC or any altcoins that you wish to invest as long as it has the potential to grow. If you look at the CMC those two top coins should be your priority to HODL instead of switching to other, you might regret that later if you choose the wrong side.

The better part of ETH keeps you keep for the long term. Indeed at this time according to my concern, LTC has not pumped much higher as in other coins. If you buy LTC I suppose it would be an excellent option. And I expect after you buy LTC better monitor the price of LTC. When the coins are already pumping higher the better you sell.

Both Eth and Ltc are great coins with great potential. I personally don't see why you should convert your eth to LTC. Eth will definitely pump up once the bull market ( which I believe we are seeing the beginning now) begins and you can make even a higher profit.

That's right, we even make it straight of what we wanting to happen in our investment.

I don't think I can exchange my ETH for LTC not with the way ETH is growing coupled with platform improvements. Although this is my opinion, but I think holding ETH will be worth it.

You should hold both, wise investors will include both coins to their portfolio, both coins are on the  top 5 and each one will have their own all-time high when the right time comes, so better split it make it 50/50 and you are not going to regret it.

Litecoin is a good potential coin for a long term investment but i rather hodl for ethereum instead of exchange for litecoin. The only reason I would want to invest in LTC is if I have some funds left, that I feeling should just keep or throw anywhere, but which I do not want to incur much loss.

My suggestion is: Holding Ethereum and wait for good price to take profits. After that, swapping your bitcoin to Litecoin, and using Litecoin to move your funds around. That way, moving funds via Litecoin, will help you to avoid delayed transactions on bitcoin network, and high fees when bitcoin network has too many unconfirmed transactions. Litecoin gives you lower transaction fees, and less network congestion issue. I have a big love for Litecoin due to its advantages to move funds: cheap, fast, and nearly zero congestion.

I think I'll do both. I divide my eth into half. The other half, I will invest in ltc because right now it looks like a good option. The other half of my eth will be set aside for holding because for the past few days, eth shows signs of improvement in its value. Very slowly but surely. So, a couple of things here.  If you are considering cashing out BTC or alts to fiat, I would absolutely not do it now. At this moment, BTC just hit $9,650, and I think we all know what is likely to happen when it eclipses $10k, which could easily be within the next few days. Not only is it likely to push way up from there due to extreme FOMO conditions being prevalent, but the entire market is likely to get pulled along for the ride.

Now, the other tactic that I think is absolutely in play is the ETH/BTC relationship.  Right now it stands at almost 35:1 (you can trade 1 BTC for 35 ETH). In looking at the charts, this is at historical low levels (speaking from the ETH perspective).  At ETH's peak, this ratio was only 10:1.  Now sure, maybe it's not going back to that extreme but certainly 20:1 and even 15:1 seems very reasonable.

The big question is, of course, when to pull the trigger on that trade.  It's tempting even now and I may convert a small amount of BTC to ETH.  But as I said, with $10k looming (now only $325 away), most experts agree it will go parabolic from there.  I would say even $13k within a few weeks is not out of the question. I do think most alts will go along for that ride to some degree, but they will probably do it to a lesser degree than BTC. I am looking at something around 40:1 as a big trigger point. If it hits that, it's almost a no-brainer to me.  If the short history of this holds, we would then see a drop in BTC (maybe back down around $11k) but much more market share swinging over to the alts, especially to the major ones.  This could send ETH into the $550 range, which would indeed be back in that 20:1 range.

All of this is speculative of course but if you analyze the inter-crypto swings in the Q1'17 to Jan'18 bull market, there was a very clear pattern of BTC's market dominance coming back to the pack, so to speak.

Bitcoin, with early effects of its block reward's halving next year, has exponentially inreases within last 6 months. So, I would like to ask you a very easy and simple question, what will occur with Ethereum when the coin officially switch to Proof of Stake phase? In my opinion, we might see nearly the same huge effects like what we have seen with bitcoin coming halving. When it occurs, you will regret by not determinantly invest in Ethereum now. Ethereum might fall a little deeper from its temporary price, but I believe that we have been in bottom range of ETH (in ETH/ BTC pair), and when it takes off due to PoS, it will never come back to current price range.

Bitcoin is continuously ascending and this will create awareness eventually for the new bull run. For me, ETH is the best major coins to hold on during the bull run but this doesn't mean LTC is a bad choice. Maybe, you should separate your investment and major part of it to BTC-ETH-LTC.

I think eth is better than ltc. Eth has the potential to provide greater profits than ltc. Therefore, you do not need to swap on ltc. Better you maintain to hold eth and btc. Investing Ethereum and Litecoin is a long term investment which means that there is no need to diversify our ETH into LTC. They are potentially profitable in the market and both of them shows the sustainable market design. With these factors, it is better to put additional capital in both parties than of making transfers. We don't just think of today's price but to think deeply for the incoming.

Comparatively I love and have belief in Ethereum and Bitcoin. But litecoin is also good investment and it will make me have difficulties in choosing between the three good investment coins. It is always good to choose multiple coins but it is not a good idea to convert all our ETH coin into LTC. Now ETH price is in a down trend but once the market starts recovering we might see the huge expansion of its volume and its price. I believe it's a good gamble. Everytime I check my twitter, all the crypto personality that I follow are sharing the same hype from the coming LTC halvening. I think people that got early in the LTC before it started to rise are going to sell it before  a week or days of halvening. Both coins are very promising and have not shown their potential on the bullish market yet. But it is only the matter of time when the altcoin season is going to take place, so make your pockets full of different altcoins and especially with ETH and LTC.

Holding ethereum is better than converting to litecoin because that coin have the potential to go up until its upgrade is completed next year. If you have more funds, try to buy litecoin instead because there is a possibilty that its price will continue to go up before its upcoming halving on August. Both ethereum and litecoin will continue to be profitable this year because of their ongoing developments.

I think it will be advantageous if we are going to hold both of them, and then some BTC as well.

Both of them are great and they both have high marketcap and top listed coin. But comparison between them or holding one of them particularly is not a great idea. They both are very different form each other ethereum is a platform based token where LTC is a payment based token. They both got problem in bear market but now they are working on their flaws. Ethereum is working on scalability at the save time LTC already announced their update regarding privacy. So I would say both hold and that will be profitable in future.
