Title: Unable to post new topic ..issue.
Post by: olvin on June 10, 2019, 08:02:58 PM

Why I am unable to post any topic in any of the forum..? When I post something it is automatically removed and I get message saying ..."the file must be missing or out of your limit."
It would be great if admin solve this problem of mine...

Thanks

Where and what are you trying to post? Is this happening on every board you try to post?

Better to read the whole forum rules first and maybe you violate one of the forum rules that is why moderators keeps deleting your thread.

You can read it from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0

This message has nothing to do with mods removing posts.

must be missing or out of your limit.

I think OP is talking about this error message:
Quote
The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you.

My guess is that the thread got deleted when he was typing his reply.
When he hits the post button, he will be redirected to that error page.

I figure you are referring to some recent posts/threads of yours that have been deleted. Going over the ModLog (https://bitcointalk.org/modlog.php) I’ve found a couple:
Quote
Remove topic: Argentas will it be a next bitcoin .... in topic #5152955 by member #969398
Remove topic: Grab this two opportunites before it is too late... in topic #5152235 by member #969398
Both posts were deleted because the threads where they were posted were entirely deleted themselves.

I’m not sure if your posts were OPs (threads openers). In anycase, someone reported them for being of low quality, full of spam or alike, leading to the threads being deleted. The process is not automatic, but the threads may have been reported rather quickly and acted upon in a short period of time.

I do not think I really understand OP on his issue and concern but let me guess it is all about deleted posts. Well OP, modz can delete a whole thread which means if you are posting a reply of that thread then your post will be automatically deleted. But if this is not the case then probably it is all about posting in a restricted section. There are sections here which low rank users could not be able to posts like in those serious discussions thread, sticky threads. You can post image OP for clearer picture of the problem.

He managed to create this thread so it looks fine, but if he was reading a thread and in the mean time this thread was deleted, if he tries to reply to this thread he will get the same error. Using the back button gets him back to the same cached version of the deleted thread and I guess he tried to post again but the same error came.
This is my guess :)

That's exactly what I understood after DdmrDdmr's post. I thought he was getting that error whenever he tries to make a post, but that's what shows when he visits a (now deleted) post from him.
