No one would sell for exchange rates if you are in India, because the BTC/INR is mutualy inclusive with INR/USD Pair, thats why the big difference in price. Face to face deal = cash, I guess.. or through escrow = who is there from India who is a trustable escrow ??. Even benson who was past mod ranaway with funds. I think it will be advisable to use the service of Remitano (https://remitano.com/btc/ng?ref=vicoma)and Local Bitcoin (https://localbitcoins.com/?ch=eivq) if they are available in your country. That will protect both of you and you will exchange safely.
