Hello everybody-- It’s been a while since I sold off some of the the estate of my brother TommyBitcoin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=802035. Partly been busy, but also It’s been hard to let it all go, and to repeatedly revisit a difficult situation, the death of someone who was very close to you.

For those of you who didn’t know Tommy, he was an avid Bitcoin fan and aficionado, early crypto-currency adopter, and collector of the physical. May his soul RIP. He was doing what he loved to do best right up until the end. If you look at his profile, it will show him


He passed to the hereafter minutes later, of that I am certain.

Tommy loved the sale. He was motivated by the sale. He was juiced by the sale. In that spirit I will let him and his possessions go. And, these sales will help his family; he left a wife and two young children behind.

For this sale I have a breathtaking C-series poker chip set made by btcc.mobi. I believe the set is dated circa 2016. I was tempted to keep it, but his wife insists we move it on. Rare, I am told only about 200 were made. Rest your eyes on their beauty!

Hashmap good luck with your sale.  Plenty of btcc collectors here and this is indeed a rarer piece that is coveted here.  I wish you luck and pass my condolences to the rest of your family from us the bitcoin collectable family.

I did read the OP properly. Most people hang onto treasured belongings from loved ones that pass away. I didn't understand, how Tommy could love the sale in March if he passed away in February. But I wasn't gonna ask this.  Especially that he has kids. Save the physical coins for the kids college funds.


And yeah I feel as if it's a nesscary comment. I wouldn't have said it otherwise. Rip me a fucking apart because of it.


How would you feel if your father's processions where sold when you were too young to even remember him and you grow up having nothing from him besides his name when you could have had an awesome bitcoin coin that he was extremely passionate about

What part of "And, these sales will help his family; he left a wife and two young children behind." did you not respect.  Were you looking for a response from him reiterating that he DID NOT want to let go of it which he already stated in the OP.  Sorry hashmap will let this thread be good luck.

Treasure the good things in your life-- your loved ones, your freedom in a great and prosperous land such as that which we live in. Life is all too short. Oh ok, yes, yes and treasure the collectibles too - they are fun to look at :-)

As crazy as it sounds you may make a better premium breaking the set up and selling the chips individually.

That’s not true.. they all might sell fast if u break the set but prob will not get the premium like a full set..

I believe all these sets came in a white cardboard box with the BTCC logo and set number (see this auction (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4667366.0).). Do you still have the box for the plastic case?

Not sure if this is "insanely bad advice," but I have no intention of breaking up the set. The family wants to sell it whole with all six chips.
