Title: How to keep up to date on newest altcoins?
Post by: jerry0 on June 18, 2019, 06:38:18 AM
How does one know which altcoins come out recently and thus are trading pretty good?  You can check coinmarketcap to see which coin has increased in price or decreased in price the most in last 24 hours or 7 days or month etc.  But besides that, are there sites that show what coins will be released soon to the public?  Thus by that i mean being able to buy from exchange like binance etc.

Right, I also often use coinmarketcap sites and really help me to analyze all the coins that have been registered there, but there are also a number of other trusted sites and can help us as crypto lovers of course, close examples such as CCN sites.

An exchange like idex have a feature to see which coins are experiencing up / down trends. From their twitter we can also see which coins will be listed or delisted. For further info related crypto, I use cointelegraph, coindesk and for sure coinmarketcap. I use many other sources too, since not all coins are listed on idex.

You forgot to check the "recently added" section on coinmarketcap. Yes, there's a section about daily losers and gainers but if you are into those altcoins that are being added everyday, check that section: https://coinmarketcap.com/new/
Navigate each of those coins and see their markets tab.

Coinmarketcap is the only ways for me to check altcoin daily price gainers and losers, don't forget always check the recently added section.

Quote

I'm always check the major cryptocurrency exchanges blog news and social media, then I'll know which cryptocurrency will release and being trade soon.

You can check the icobench because they have been the front runner of all ico and ieo and sto coins and the funding process, you can even watch it during the funding process, before the funding process and after the funding process all looking like how they did or doing or will do which gives you a lot of information about it. That is the number one place you can check, coin market cap the new section also gives a bit of information but it is not as good as icobench since its just a coin information part but icobench has all information all the way into funding process as well.

I don't know if the other options are as good, when you have one amazing place like icobench and one not so bad place like coinmarketcap then the other options become a bit useless if you ask me.

Most of the times, before a coin is lunched on exchange, you would have seen its announcement thread on this forum. You can do your research on each of those projects and whichever one that interests you and you feel has future prospects, you can start following it up until it is being traded.
It is possible you make your profit on such coin before it is listed on coin market cap.

And not all new altcoins or projects are getting listed in CMC.
Take for example, HubrisOne (HBRS) -https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5039930.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5039930.0), they are being traded in several exchanges already, yet, they are not in CMC.
I used HBRS as an example because this is one of the projects that I've seen as a promising one, with real product, yet, they are like underrated in the market.

And to really keep up to date with newest altcoins, I believe this forum alone will give you almost all new crypto projects that are being introduced to the community.
The ANN section is already full of that info. And if you are not satisfied, you can also go to other crypto forums.

You should get blockfolio app on your smartphone or use coinmarketcap website and add all your altcoins in separate folio using blockfolio or cmc,I use both from time to time and they serve well

For that, you can join the telegram channel of each exchange that you think is a good exchange. Because usually every exchange has a channel and knows the community when there are new altcoins registered. With that you will always get information regarding this matter.

Yes of course there are sites that shows newly released altcoins or upcoming altcoin apart from coin market cap which we all know. Coingecko is also a good place to find such data and also you search for apps that does that in Google

One of them is if he is indeed looking for a coinmarketcap. I also have another site that provides information on the latest coins released, check here https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/recently_added.
Actually there are still many similar sites but I think these two sites are the best and are popularly used by many people. Both of these sites also have good trust from their users.

I think we don't know which altcoin can increase because we cannot predict it. Checking coinmarketcap will give you a guide to know which coin has increased, but that cannot be a reality because coinmarketcap is not a market, it's only a website which gives the data for us. If you want to know the real data, it's better to check directly on the market.

There's another way of knowing about these newest altcoins and projects with the specific sections of the forum.
There is these two sections, Announcements (Altcoins) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0) and Tokens (Altcoins)  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=240.0) and if their ann threads has lesser page, there's a chance that those projects are new but it's not like that all of the time.

that's still lack of updates, it much better for anyone to join in the chart group directly to find the latest update about the development or try to visit altcoin section cointelegraph and that will provide any big news that was having a relationship with the development that happened with altcoin

Yes, this forum will give you the newest projects in crypto. Even crypto websites don't have it. CMC will just give you projects that have been listed to at least 2 exchanges. But the newly-launched coins that have not been in the market yet, I guess you can find it here (sections mentioned above).

Maybe you mean the coin that will be released to the public and buy it in exchange is the IEO? if you want information on IEO releases for each exchange, you can visit the site https://icobench.com/ieo. There are several projects that will release their tokens to the public through several exchanges.

to do this, you need to keep track of news portals, where what is planned, where it was launched, and such portals that advertise projects that will only go to ISO or IEO enough, before it was popular on Bitnovosti a lot of useful information came out,and now it comes out,and there are many such sites)

the coinmarketcap.com new list is only meant to show the coins THEY are going to list on their website not the coins that are really new. they usually are the same but not always.
to know about new coins, you have to watch the altcoin announcement board every day to see which new announcements are being made there.
although i don't think you can get anything useful out of them since nowadays only useless projects are being  created.

In addition to Coinmarketcap, of course you can browse and search for the latest coins listed on the stock. Or you can also be more active in this forum (Altcoin discussion). What do you want to look for with new coins? Facebook coin (Libra) has become the center of attention lately and will be released at the beginning of next year 2020. Let's wait together.

AFAIK the new coins can't be directly listed on the exchange and of course there is a further process, not in the discussion section but in Announcements  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0)

It may lack somehow but most of the projects are including this forum to their updates through the ANN threads that they are creating. Those chart groups sometimes really are shilling projects so it's better to do it on your own.

Listing on Binance is not an easy process. There are some requirements that need to be met. Although, every coin has its listing date, depending on whether it is confirmed to be listed or not. So for yo too know which ius next too be listed, you have to continue to follow it up by being part of the community.

coinmarketcap and binance is a good collaboration between the latest coins. and now this might be used as one of the destination options where coinmarketcap has great confidence for certain coins, and binance is the biggest exchange at this time. so going to both places is a good thing

Not all new coins can be registered with Binance, so it's difficult to do that. But if we always see a coinmarketcap it might be the main goal to see new coins that have been present.

Commonly, I always check the update on the coin market cap. However, for some newest altcoins listed on an exchange, sometimes they are not listed yet on CMC> That is why I always update the news from the telegram group of the altcoins or joining local exchange that has the great trust.

just see the newly registered coin, for example binance announces that it will register a new coin and you can see it, I think if the coin that will be registered in binance is a good coin for an old or new project depending on the agreement they register the coin

This forum itself is a source for getting information about new coins. I do visit several exchanges and they too provide some insights to the promising coins. Good exchanges generally avoid shady coins. And lastly it's coinmarketcap where I get the prices and list of exchanges where's it's listed on.

to find out which coin-coin will be released to the public soon, please search for a number of places like Icobench and Icorate and many other sites that can display various coins that will be released ... in coinmarketcap we can only see coins that have been registered at various markets then with the coinmarketcap we can find out the movements of each coin that is there ..

Icobench and icorate are crap sites and forget it because most of the scam projects are being listed on there, CMC needs some requirements and that will be only listed a coin that already traded in some exchange sites that have already supported by CMC

CoinMarketCap adds not all tokens that appear on the market. For me, the easiest way to learn about new alts that appear on the market is to watch YouTube videos regularly. I am subscribed to several channels about crypto: the news appears there every 2 hours.

If you are talking about new altcoins that is performing well in my own point of view the new token or coin must have make it to coinmarketcap in a short period of time just to confuse me how good it is so I always check https://coinmarketcap.com/new

Newest altcoins can't be check with coinmarketcap as they list new if it has many exchanges and has a good volume.
Therefore some low profile coins/tokens are not there though they are new or even good to have.

The best place to keep track with new altcoins is here on bitcointalk, preferably the announcement section for altcoins.  Personally, that's my best pick to keep up to date.  Additionally, you can check ico/ieo/sto rating sites like icodrops, icobench or crypto publication sites like cointelegraph for updates on new projects.

Did you know that if you have more time to "travel" around this beloved forum then you can see newest altcoin every single day (or at least every week)
In my opinion Bitcointalk Sub-forum Announcements (Altcoins) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0) is the best place to watch the "new born" of altcoins.

But just in case Altcoin you mentioned is Altcoin that already in market / tradable then I guess Coinmarketcap and Coin Gecko is next best place to watch

I think initial coin offering reviewing site will do that but I am not having experience of searching the details, but if you know any project precisely then you can try there website are there announcement thread to know what they are doing and check the prices in the recent date and the coinmarketcap to know how much they are performing in the real world.

Depending on what you want. You already mentioned CMC which I believe it is resourceful in term of providing you information about any new listed coin and the exchange in which they are being listed. Talking about buying a newly listed coin, you need to be very careful, all else you may end up regretting because you can lose your money. Many of the newly listed coin are priced 100% below the crowd sales price which might not reach its peak price in years. Except on top exchange like binance, I will never advice anyone to go and buy newly listed coin

Following only one social media channel is usually enough to be up to date with recent events, companies are oftenly publish the same info in many areas. Coinmarketcap is the most obvious choice of course when it comes to the price, but i also use coingecko, these two are the most profoundable websites. And of course bitcointalk (and other cryptocurrency forums) is a place where you can easily find most recents news from many projects.

As an investor, you should have a bunch of altcoins in your portfolio. Subscribe to all their social media channels and investigate their roadmap. I am buying alts one month before the update and selling them at the peak, which comes around 2-3 days before the event takes place.
is that a necessity? I do not think so. What reasons reinforce your thinking about ownership of a lot of assets for an investor?
I myself only have 4 coins, bitcoin, ethereum, BNB, and LTC. I focus on growth, and always get ready with stable coins like USDT.
with a little asset I have had my time taken into consideration in the market conditions of each asset that I have. moreover having lots of assets.

The world of cryptocurrency is quite a young area for development and you need to monitor and monitor it every day.  because technologies are developing and every day new new projects are being created and new new technologies and approaches are being released.  you should always be aware of all new developments and develop in this area to read the documentation and much more.

I am looking for new coin information that will be registered in an exchange through social media or through a new market and coin which potentially I think is easy for us to track because it has a large community, Bitcointalk Forum is also an option for you to find new coin information that will  enter the market.

As previous comment say you can check the newest crypto on the exchange or the newest crypto on coinmarketcap, you can see it on recently added. Click the line three in the upper left corner and click ranking then you will find recently added. There is some altcoin which is new relisted on the coinmarketcap and you can find information too with click that you wanted to know and scrol down.

I always check it on coinmarketcap or coingecko. Or you can subscribe a newsletter from exchanger. so when there are some new altcoins listed, they will tell you via email. And don't forget to follow their social media, they will make announcement about the newest altcoins to be listed in their exchange.

Coin market cap is always a good source to see the first market charts of any kind of altcoins in the crypto world. Then, we can check the coins on what exchanges they are listed. COmpare and analyze them whether we know which is pretty enough. For the other website? I still don't find them exactly which is legit.

If you want to know the progress of altcoin prices or new listings in binance, we can follow binance social media or install mobile applications. But to find out about the new coins that will be launched, I think this forum will be very helpful because this forum was used by the developers to announce new projects

I agree, coinmarketcap is always a reference for cryptocurrency investors to find out price movements in the market real time. Coinmarketcap provides complete information about coins including where which market we can buy coin that we want or know the total supply and other information

In order to get on the coinmarketmarket, some projects have to work a year, and some do not get there because they do not fulfill the conditions. And the newest bitcointalk on the forum. There are other aggregators on which you can search for new projects.

I can suggest we look at here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0 , to see the altcoins announcement, at least here we can see some comments where we can read some feedback of the project. I usually spend my time here so I would only recommend to keep your updates here.

Yes, the IEO is a system where a company will launch a new token and work with an existing exchange. like Binance, Bitforex, Probit, and many others.

I get updates about new coins released in the market and doing well from social media crypto channels or pages. I observed newly released coins in exchange tend to do well at first and its value drastically goes down once stable in the market. So it's important to get first-hand news first. Coinmarketcap normally lists coins only when a coin only when it has been stabilized in the market.

To find good projects, the best result will be obtained if you participate in generosity, study the project from the inside and immediately work with it on the exchange as soon as it appears. However, in principle, you can buy at the stock exchange much cheaper than at ISO, with the exception of a very small number of projects.
Yes, this is one of the most effective ways to keep track of new projects. Because there are services for tracking new Tokens and awards.

Yeah for sure everybody first can check if have an new coins is to visit the coin market cap website, coin market cap is a very realable source listing of new realized token or coins. And the we can check also to the exchanges if is the new coun legit listed in the exchange wallet where traded.

I would suggest that you go and check the new upcoming projects where they are still in the ICO phase. This is for you to know what altcoins you can expect on a specific time frame, though just a remainder that not all of these project will be on the market due to crowdsale. Next is check websites like coingecko where the do not require requirements to be listed in their platform unlike coinmarketcap.

Besides looking at the coin market cap, commonly I will also look the market price on a crtain exchange, Of course, I personally have several exchanges and it is valuable to make certain considerations and doing research for the coins that have high volume trading and cycle during 24 hours per day. BY analyzing every coin that has good cycle and volume on the exchange, we can also see the prospect of new coins that will be worthier for trading or holding. ABout the excahnges, it will depend on your chocies. You can check on a local exchange or global exchange such as Binance, Kucoin, Bitrex, and many others

Point is that not each new altcoin is valuable. All altcoins from top exchanges after IEO- those are valuable and on demand. But as for small projects, better avoid all of them

Here are so many sites that runs that services such as coingeecko, Ico-checker and many more, and I think the best of them for now is still ICObench, this is still the one I prefer more amongst them all because they give full details concerning the project and can even link you directly to where you can participate in it either through their site or their direct link to bitcointalk thread.

They all do rate the projects for you to know which one they consider the best amongst all the projects they have listed for any investor or bounty hunters to take note of.  For coins that has been released, I do not think there is any site that follows up on that other than their telegram page, or better still listed on coin market cap after they have been registered.

Icobench and Icoholder are probably the most I have encountered too to find newborn crypto projects. And that's just to see the new project appearing in the publication. And to be a good project maybe Icobench isn't the right thing to look for a good project there. Because most are inaccurate and do not match the reality of seeing the potential of icobench alone.

Yes most of the time I check coins in the coinmarketcap when I am planning to invest in them. I get all the information about coins I am much interested in and search them thoroughly on the internet before investing. But when it is about tokens I get as rewards for participating in a bounty campaign, I directly check its price on exchanges it gets listed.

Maybe you can search on here because as far as I know when the newest altcoin or new project wants to launch, they always make announce in here so you can know the news. Coinmarketcap can also help you to analyze the newest coin but reading and searching on here will be a good way for you to find the newest altcoin or project.

I'm interested in ANY new Bitcoin Forks that are on the horizon.

I 'missed out' on the Bitcoin 2 Masternode one, that released like June 2nd, 2019 or some such.

I would be all over something like that. Right now I'm too cheap to pay for 1,000 BTC 2 coins.

Yeah, I know, me of little faith. But as sh*tcoins go, if you get into a full Bitcoin Fork Coin

early enough, you have better odds of breaking even, at least, IMHO and more so with masternode

at least as OK as the BTC 2 version.

Just saying, and again just 'fishing' on here for what I just posted.

(The horse is gone and the barn door is locked...likely fruitless...but asking anyway) :)

the best is actually in their whitepaper. where they have planned all activities in the future. we can predict price growth when their plan is reached. but all of that we must control with the activities of the developer. if they are active I think the project has a good future.

I doubt if there are newly-out coins that are immediately listed on Binance. If you want altcoins that have just received the nod of Binance, you better follow the news from Binance themselves. They will release such.

Anyway, coinmarketcap is one option. But if you really want to know which coins will be released soon, you may have to check at the Announcement thread of this forum, under the alternate cryptocurrencies. These are new projects whose coins have yet to hit the exchanges.

I could be wrong, but I believe that invest in new born crypto projects always is more risky than invest in old projects. At least, it will be safer to invest in projects that have more than one-year old because we can know that their team actually developed their projects, and did not have intention to make fast earnings from scam ICOs, or masternode presales.

Under current conditions in the cryptocurrency market, new projects are always at risk.  There are already so many scammers that they have already begun to influence the entire cryptocurrency market very strongly.  One way or another, I don’t even understand what the selection criteria are for quality altcoin, until they display good results in the cryptocurrency market.

Today, I don’t believe in new projects at all, because most of them are revealed by fraudulent projects or projects for which there is no interest in society at all.  It is best to pay attention only to those projects whose coins are already quite actively beginning to increase their capitalization.
