Someone has launched a libra ANN thread and I think its fake. Please check it before people invest in this scam. They dont have any information about the team and the facebook hasnt made any announcement about libra website.

They use a different URL than the official project, with a similar website. Real Libra project URL is https://libra.org/ and not https://libraproject.io Opening a flag. It still had "10 days left to buy Libra token ICO" yesterday so I guess if the scammers advertised elsewhere than on bitcointalk, some people can fall into that trap. A simple whois on the domain name told me .. it's been anonymized, and there also was the Namecheap abuse email next to that. Tried that, and they suspended the domain name. This will be a mess for Facebooks since there are a few Libra token / libra coin / libra that exists way before Facebook announced the name of their coin. This one was created 182 days ago: https://etherscan.io/token/0xd56cFEc7319d206B7f1269182212d5c381DD9168 This other one was created 478 days ago - https://etherscan.io/address/0x8e82515da8cd9f214a9d1f4d06a64f87007c2ef4 - and the creator created all the other zodiac signs, as well as fruits, animals, etc.. So, just because Facebook announced the name libra, doesnt mean they own everything about libra, it is a mess they will have to deal with. This is called phishing attempt. Obviously the guy is trying to mislead the newbies. In fact I was thinking it's a normal ANN by may be someone who is representing Facebook but after seeing the above quote I can to the real world :-PThey use a different URL than the official project, with a similar website.
