Bitcoin Forum

Seeing that certain people here spread their slap fights all over the board, I request a new section for such childish behaviour. Letting smear campaigns and libel threads run wild everywhere doesn't exactly make a good impression to new users who come here to get a better understanding of Bitcoin.

- That subforum should be hidden for members until they reach a certain postcount/onlinetime/are whitelisted.
- Threads are moved there without leaving a "moved to" note
- Dragging the slapfight back into the other forum sections should be a bannable offense

One should expect that people are civilized enough to solve their problems between each other in a decent way, but that doesn't seem to be always the case. So let's give them their own playground where they can club each other's heads in without splattering the guts everywhere.

What about having it such that only Atlas and Matthew have access as well?

The word Kindengarten reminds me something from Freenet... Do we really need such a place or probably just better moderation?

Such board would only serve to encourage trolling and ignorant behavior.

So what are we waiting for?!

My reason is that new users will consider the whole forum as a kindergarten because a tiny minority (currently two are especially active on that sector) thinks it's ok to crap all over the place.

If you go somewhere, and the first thing you see is a spoiled kid who throws a hissy fit on his soapbox while an old geezer keeps bumping your heels with his shopping cart, then there is no incentive to stay or come again.

Instead of calling it "Kindergarten", it may be better named "The Loony Bin". If it's hidden until you reach eg 50 posts, then a newbie can look around without facing nutjobs.

Make them both the moderators in it and use it add a drunk tank for off topic positing as opposed to the 3 day ban.
