Title: Bitcoin back to 5 digits - Congratulations everyone!
Post by: Stedsm on June 21, 2019, 11:45:04 PM
On this very moment I'm typing, I'm glad to share this that BTC is now par $10k and we've entered the new rally towards $15k and more. I wish all those genuine hodlers the taste of success they were waiting for while hodling BTC and feel extremely sorry for those who sold down under $3500 or more but less than half of $10k under the pressure of lots of FUD and panic waves that went throughout the whole year of 2018 (except its beginning).

I believe we are all set for a huge rally, get your seat belts on guys.

Welcome to the 5 digits Bitcoin -from your old friend. ;D

I can't believe it touches $10,000 this month since the last price i saw it was at $9300, $9,700, $9,900 and then BAAM!
I never thought it would touch within this month and the price continues to grow even more than i expected.

Never expected this this soon but I always manage to get it totally wrong. I'm really intrigued what the next few months are going to look like. Could be stunning. Could be a ravaging. At this moment who cares?

And I saw a fair few people selling in May and going away. You may be vindicated eventually, who knows? In the meantime you are cliche-swallowing penises.

Finally, we are back at 5digits after a boring and long wait. Everyone is sure smiling seeing the price at 5digits again. Never doubt that btc won't make a comeback because btc always does, no matter how long it is. Of course don't forget that there is correction along the way, and that is oppurtunity again.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. It's fairly obvious we've begun a new bull market, but the road to a new ATH won't necessarily be that quick. After the wave up (beginning in February) ends, there will likely be a multi-month correction like July-August 2015 or June-August 2016.

I must admit I was quite surprised when I saw the price so suddenly increased to almost $11 000, and last night it was under $10k. It's unbelievable how easy was it to break through $10k psychological level, and that despite the expectations we have, there is no sellout occurred. It seems that the majority saw an opportunity for even greater profit and decided to hold, which in my opinion is quite justified.

Still, I wonder if we can expect this growth to continue, or there will be a correction as always? I still do not believe that it is a bull run what we had back in 2017, but only a preparation for big things which should occur after halving. However I think that only the right thought is to always expect unexpected from crypto market 8)

and my condolences to all of those who have been waiting still for a massive drop and some of them waiting for low prices such as $1000 to be reached. I hope that they learn from this experience they have gotten this year and in the future have a much better understanding of the bitcoin market and the community that spreads bad suggestions most of the times.

Yes, Kwukduck would be so proud. Where is he? We will be needing his timing skills for buying dips from here on. 8)

Hahaha. I was telling everyone to buy anything below $5,000, and feel lucky. They maybe thought it was a joke!

There will be always sone who will wait for price to drop to 1000$ or lower and when they buy it somehow in some miracle way the price will rise above 20000$. But they are not actually relevant because they obviously not serious bitcoiners. And some people never learn from mistakes no matter how long arw they present on the market because there are still a lot of users who lack even basic knowledge about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general.

Right, almost $11k now, just a massive jump in the last 24 hours. I think we can already say that we are out of the bearish claw now, we have reach 5 digits and then crash it like nothing big is in front of us. Definitely, this year is a very good recovery for everyone, specially for those newbies who invested at almost a all-time-high. Just sit back and relax and take the ride.

It feels so good seeing Bitcoin be the only coin that's being pumped instead of the trash below it.

A binance whale placed a ~1100BTC sell wall at exactly $11,000 and it was bought through in minutes. It's refreshing seeing these sell walls back. Long time no see. :D

I'm not going to sell anything because it's just not worth it. What am I going to do with fiat? Watch it be worth less with Bitcoin pumping? I might consider securing profits in December, which usually is a month where it starts correcting from, then buy more Bitcoin back in the months after that. More satoshis is what I want, not more fiat.

I just called a friend that has been blaming me of making him of losing money because I encourage him to buy Bitcoin when Bitcoin was $9750 around April last year. I have been enduring him all this while and my encouragement is that" a day will come that bitcoin is going to grow back above $10,000" and that is what happens last night. He has called to said "Bitcoin is now $11,120"  and this is the first time this happens since l bought bitcoin for him. This is a real moment of happiness in my life and I hope that it is completely out of the downward trend.

Well I join you in congratulating all Bitcoin holders particularly those who bought as at the time its Market value went down to the turn of around $3000. Although, I don't really believe that not everyone that sell in the past was as a result of the fear of unknown about the market next direction but some do sell as a result of their financial needs which is what investment is all about in my opinion, so we should blame them except for those who sold theirs out of fear.

I'm amazed by how the price has broken through so many important levels effortlessly, that I don't think there is anything that can stop it from attempting to reach the $20k all time high.

The funniest thing so far is that Peter Schiff called this a suckers rally. I expected him to at least acknowledge that Bitcoin is here to stay, but no.... It's unbelievable how ignorant gold bugs can really be.

He spent years recommending people to invest in gold for just a few % return. If he spent a tenth of that time researching Bitcoin and buy into it at some point, he would be up over a 1000% by now.

If bitcoin crosses 15K, then for sure we will see bitcoin to move near 20K or more. I do not think there will be much resistance after 15K and bitcoin will fly freely after in crosses 15000$. All this is due to the anticipation of Bakkt platform going live soon (https://www.bakkt.com/index) ?

Congratulation for people who can take their profit now and for other people who are still waiting for the higher price, they need to be patient for more. I believe bitcoin will break the higher price and go higher in the future, and that will be a matter of time before it's happening. Don't be panic if the price is down because that is what happens after the bitcoin price can reach the highest price, and after the down, the price will be back to the higher price again.

It is really impressing how we managed to hit 10k in such a little time.
Now I guess that many people who pulled out of the market will try to come back again and they will jump again in high prices and sell in low due to the Fud that is going to happen. It is like going of the same cycle again and again!

I don't think we will see any major correction. It may get settle at something around $10.2-10.5K before rising again. This growth isn't looking like bubble at all. There are still lots of buyers supporting the market. So I won't be surprised if we see support level around 14-15K by next week or two.
This bull run looks very different from the one of 2017. 2017 run was complimented by equivalent growth in almost of coins. Some shitcoins even rose 5-6 times. But this time Bitcoin is sole leader, it gives more credibility to run and we could hope it won't burst like last time.

Truly, this increase has good impact in the crypto community as a whole. People will jump again on this hoping that the increase will continue. I hope those individuals are not driven by what they heard but this time, they also do they homework and they know what they are doing.

Bakkt does not even list their address on their website and the domain name itself was registered less than a year ago. Its just one of many side shows and nothing more.

Before jumping better to learn from the past invest when you already have a strong foundations and not only to rely with current market movements,
hitting 5 digits again will create good impact to new investors as they will notice the trends and give them interest to invest in while the ride is still
slowly moving up.

We did even reach $11k price but same as a anticipated we would really see some price pullbacks or correction but seeing
this movement would really signify that we are already on a bull run.We might see $15k price soon or in the end of the year.
Holding for this long isn't really that easy for Hodlers but such patience does really pays off.

Same here! I did not expect Bitcoin price can break 10K USD obstacle in this month! My expectation was for August month! Now, I am very happy like others! Because after 14 months of a crypto bear run, the crypto market is gained very well to start the bull run! This growth is unexpectedly great!

~snip~

At this point it is really impossible to estimate the direction in which things will develop, and even though I have nothing against $14k or more, I doubt we can see such price in next week or two. I'm sure that such a rise in price surprised many, except some perma-bulls who always talk about rising prices, even in time of corrections and bear market.

I agree that this bull run is different because it's happening one year before halving, but so far the situation was just the opposite. Some would say it's an effect of pre-halving, although there are some other factors who are responsible for the current situation. One positive thing is that price is above $10k, and this is maybe signal for media to start posting about bitcoin again in a positive light, which is much better then all this FB libra shitcoin promotion.

You know, I didn't think of it or it didn't occur much to me at all but today looking on some recent Twitter trends, there is actually one group happier than anyone else at thia moment and it's those guys who bought just after the 2017 fomo kicked in or those who bought after the post 20k retracement... Around 11k.

Those who held on patiently, for over a year, must be so happy to see things level this weekend.

Conversely, those who gave up just a few months ago must feel like shit.

Congrats, hodlers ;)

To everyone, this shows that BTC repeats its old times and the pace is vociferous. I believe that BTC can go heights when it comes to value, the major cause behind this prediction is: SCALABILITY
During 2017-18, the difficulty went to its all time high while BTC was approaching for $20k and it was near already, but this time, the difficulty broke all old records by simply getting to a new ATH every single day during the past few days while BTC was still struggling between $6k - $9k. Finally, it broke the line that was stopping it, by breaking the $12k super important resistance which makes us believe we are in the bull run. But with every parabolic move, there comes a correction and it may be between 20-30% from its fresh high this year. Let's not just sell under panic even if it tumbles down a bit becau we all know that now, BTC is not that old BTC that used to get manipulated easily but a very strong BTC which, even in this bull run, is maki everyone happy with the same least amount of fees we were paying during past days. It's not the same like in 2017-18 when, to get your transaction confirmed, you even needed to pay $100.
