JoePa has recently hired a criminal defense lawyer too, allegedly the guy who defended H. W. Bush in the fallout of Iran-Contra

I don't know how the American system works but has a big part been redacted?  The "credible witness" McQueary's story is contradicted by everyone he spoke to yet he is the only one believed.

EDIT: went back and read again.  I really don't understand how that guy's evidence got called credible.  He sees a child being raped and walks off to tell his Dad?  His Dad, far from being concerned, waits 24 hours and they tell the Paterno guy.  Paterno denies being told about any rape.  Other officials talk to McQueary and all of them say that he never mentioned rape.  And the victim of this rape doesn't testify.  Then McQueary carries on working with all these guys, including the rapist, for years without ever telling a soul.

This story doesn't add up at all.  Can anyone enlighten me?

It is illegal to lie to a grand jury, with hefty prison time and fines.

It is not illegal to lie to people, to the press, or in emails.

I think he is saving face in the court of public opinion for doing nothing after witnessing a child being raped.

I believe the sandusky defense is using the court of public opinion to sway/taint the jury pool.

Hard to tell how all of this will eventually unfold, as it seems to be dynamically changing a little every day.

I agree bind - we have to wait and see.  But that grand jury pdf stinks to high heaven.  Its not impossible that their narrative reflects reality but its improbable.

McQueary would have put his job at risk, and would have been accusing some very wealthy and popular people. It's purely acting out of cowardice.

Kinda the same for the victim, but for the victim it was probably more out of trauma and (justifiable) fear.

Still doesn't add up.   Very few people manage to keep something like seeing child rape secret for as long as he did.  Either he is lying about what he told people or everyone he spoke to is telling the exact same lie.

This man is sick and I won't be surprised if they find out more people are involved.

Hasn't this been the M.O. of the Catholic church for the past couple of decades?

Apparently, there is more history and connections with pedophilia and government in Pennsylvania and higher.

http://www.yardbird.com/DA_seeks_FBI_probe_of_Corbett_security_contractor.htm

So, now we have at least 1 security consultant/firm owner, 2 District Attorneys, 3 Judges, 4 high ranking Penn State Staffers, and 1 Governor in question.

Now, this made me look back to the DA Gricar that disappeared in 2005 who decided not to prosecute Sandusky and his protectors at Penn State. He disappeared shortly after deciding not to prosecute. His car was found 65 miles away. His laptop computer was found in a river with the hard drive missing. The files on Sandusky went "missing" from his DA office. The files went missing from the little boy honeypot Sandusky created called the Second Mile. Donors who support the Second Mile were told there wasnt a problem. No police records had shown McQueary every spoke with police about the previous incident, let alone filining a report.

The security contractor involvement is making me think about the previous lives of most security firm owners. Their previous occupations are usually military or CIA. You know, those black bag wetwork things. Traned killers and assassins. Now, what better way to stop someone that may have incriminating evidence on you than to have them wacked, and even if they decided not to prosecute, they may still have incriminating evidence they could use in the future.

And why is the York, PA District Attorney going PUBLIC with his request to the FBI instead of pushing it up the ladder to the PA State Attorney General or the Office of the Governor ??

I thinks thats a very important question.

He is either scared shitless and needs to bring this public to save his skin, and/or he sees the corrupt connections to the PA AG's and Governor's office, so he is taking it federal. Can you remember the last time you seen a district attorney talking to the public about their investigations ??

I cannot.

Then I remember a documentary I seen some years ago, called 'Conspiracy of Silence that explains the history of Boys Town as a honeypot for the rich and elite sexually abusing children, going right into the halls of congress: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3395321338401208062

It was supposed to air on the discovery channel,, and apparently due to congressional pressures, discovery channel shelved it and got reimbursed (bribed).

talk about your chilling effects.

I think this is just the beginning ... unless its quashed on the federal level and the FBI decides not to investigate, but then we would have to ask ourselves why if they decide not to investigate. After all, is it not their duty as public servants to investigate all claims? If the FBI does investigate, and the corruption goes higher, will they act like they did in the Boys Town scandal and protect the elite and powerful, instead of serve and protect the public ??

Anyone else remember the scandals where male prostitutes were allowed in the white house in the Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, and GW Bush administrations ?

Remember Barney Frank and others scandals with their pages ?

Is the second mile, boys town, and other supposed philanthropic organisations that "help" at-risk youth really honey pot gardens of children the rich elite can pick and choose from for their sick and twisted endeavors ?
