As far as overclock ability and energy consumption goes 5770s or 5830s?

lmao.. it shouldn't need a sticky..  it's the second result on google for "which cards are better for bitcoin mining", right under the profitibility calculator..

it'd be better to sticky an 'interwebs training course'

I don't know where all of you are looking,

a 5770 is better then a 5830 because the 5830 need a lot of more power.
e.g.
5770: 100-110W for 200+MH/s > nearly a 2/1
5830  170W for 300 MH/s and nearly 200W for 340MH/s > 1.7/1

with 5850/5870/5970 you get about 2.1-2.2/1

for people who have free electricity I think  5770/6770 is the way to go, those cards put out 230 mhz each.

6770 is easy to get and most cost effective, i think.

I'm planning to build another rig with maybe 6-7 5770/6770 gpus, what kind of cheap PSU and Motherboard you guys think I should get?

No, Typo perhaps, otherwise, Not ignorant (aside from perhaps by me) and misguided?, Lawl, Then your a idiot for not realising that your 800+mhz card " put out 230 mhz each." is incorrect
