Title: Re: Which cards are better for mining? Post by: Chefnet on November 14, 2011, 10:54:11 AM I don't know where all of you are looking,
a 5770 is better then a 5830 because the 5830 need a lot of more power. e.g. 5770: 100-110W for 200+MH/s > nearly a 2/1 5830 170W for 300 MH/s and nearly 200W for 340MH/s > 1.7/1 with 5850/5870/5970 you get about 2.1-2.2/1 Title: Re: Which cards are better for mining? Post by: Fiyasko on November 15, 2011, 06:45:11 AM I don't know where all of you are looking, He's right, We all misread the question.a 5770 is better then a 5830 because the 5830 need a lot of more power. e.g. 5770: 100-110W for 200+MH/s > nearly a 2/1 5830 170W for 300 MH/s and nearly 200W for 340MH/s > 1.7/1 with 5850/5870/5970 you get about 2.1-2.2/1 Title: Re: Which cards are better for mining? Post by: micc on November 15, 2011, 07:57:34 AM for people who have free electricity I think 5770/6770 is the way to go, those cards put out 230 mhz each.
Title: Re: Which cards are better for mining? Post by: finway on November 15, 2011, 08:36:30 AM 6770 is easy to get and most cost effective, i think.
Title: Re: Which cards are better for mining? Post by: micc on November 15, 2011, 11:19:53 PM I'm planning to build another rig with maybe 6-7 5770/6770 gpus, what kind of cheap PSU and Motherboard you guys think I should get?

No, Typo perhaps, otherwise, Not ignorant (aside from perhaps by me) and misguided?, Lawl, Then your a idiot for not realising that your 800+mhz card " put out 230 mhz each." is incorrect |
