Homes has been sold by bitcoin in various countries. By bitcoin can also be purchased product on many online websites, and Amazon and BMW accept bitcoins.

It is assumed that, at this time using the credit card instead of the money, Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency will be used instead of money and credit cards in the future world.

Never before had anyone suspected that there was an era where people could buy something using plastic cards. Many banks issue credit cards in lieu of paper money. Now a new currency appears called Bitcoin, one of the rising cryptocurrency and is the target of global investors. Similar to the way credit cards and debit cards beat cash payments for the first time in history, Fintech or non-bank transactions can very likely replace credit card and debit card payments in the next decade

In my country, payment using bitcoin is still not accepted and is a violation of the law, but ownership of bitcoin is now permitted. I hope that in the future bitcoin can be accepted as a legitimate payment instrument and is not prohibited so that people from various parts of the world are not limited by the use of different currencies. In the future, Bitcoin will unite the world in one platform.

In my country we still can't buy houses or cars with bitcoin but can buy other things as computers, technical and digital items, even breadin the bakery shop or rent appartment.
So, bitcoin is slowly but surely becoming mainstream and ''big boys'' will not be able to ignore us for a long time.
We are the future and fiat money is the past.

In some countries, bitcoin can indeed be used to buy many things such as food, accessories, and some services, but in some countries bitcoin is only used as a digital investment commodity and not in exchange as in other countries and there is also a state that completely prohibits its citizens from using bitcoin.

What do you mean? If you mean that directly you want to do shopping then absolutely you are wrong as till bitcoin is not accepting as a payment in most of the shopping centers. Yes if there are some of shopping sites online who's are accepting bitcoin as a payment. I think Bitcoin can buy anything in the future if countries are going to adopt it totally, There are some countries that accept bitcoin for payment also there are against but i hope someday people will realize that bitcoin is good to use.

He must have been overly excited about Bitcoin can be used to buy something. This isn't new to us of course Bitcoin isn't accepted to all merchants, the adoption might just be faster soon with facebook introducing crypto to all users. If one day we can buy burgers and soda in the drive thru of fast food restaurants, I guess we can say anything can be bought with BTC.

Amazon currently does not accept payments in Bitcoin. There are some third-party initiatives that allow you to pay there, but they bridge the solution without there being a native integration on the Amazon website. BMW does not accept wholeheartedly Bitcoin directly either. There are a few specific dealers that may accept BTC, but it is not a brand reseller generalized option.

Purchasing in BTC is still not that simple nor generalized, to the extent that one can do it a seamlessly manner, with enough local businesses or global web options to purchase freely (i.e. not having to buy a BMW at a specific dealership in the UK to pay in crypto, and then having to deliver it to Italy for example).

now there are so many online e-commerce sites that can be bought with bitcoin. but only available in some countries. bitcoin starts to be easy to use and use. maybe this could be a sign that bitcoin will still be a coin that is easy to use

I don't see anywhere overstock.com mentioning that they accept crypto currencies as a form of payment. Again, most of the sites are not directly accepting bitcoin or any other crypto currencies as a form of payment. You will have to use third party sites where they will make the payment on your behalf and you pay them with crypto currencies. Again, you can also do those indirectly by buying gift cards with bitcoin and spending those gift cards.
I don't think amazon is accepting crypto currencies yet, are they?

Actually I have never seen an online site that accepts crypto currency payments, but in my country there have been a number of applications that use blockchian technology and users are already very much, it seems very difficult to find a store or online store that accepts payments with eyes crypto money ...

It doesn't matter how easy or cheap Bitcoin (or basically any other crypto) is to use. People in this space have a hoard/hodl mentality where they know that spending coins today is likely going to be a mistake tomorrow.

This year functions as perfect example. If you spend your coins at any time up to yesterday, you lost big time. Today alone the price has gone up by 15% which just shows how this can't work as day to day currency at this stage.

Money should be spent without thinking about the value today or tomorrow. Centralized stablecoins seem to have an edge over Bitcoin in that aspect and I don't see this change any time soon.

There are dude. As of now there are now many online shops that accepts crypto payments but most of them are not popular shops and that maybe the reason why some us didnt recognize them or cant find them easily but dont worry because soon big merchants and popular stores will also soon accepts crypto when crypto is already mainstream and fully legal worldwide but for now we can still choose to use local currency and credit cards for shopping .

It is nice to hear that Bitcoin is now be accepted as a currency or as a mode of payment for goods and services. Many sites are now accepting Bitcoin and I am seeing this as a great development. From beginning bitcoin was established to be used as money and I strongly recommend that we should start promoting Bitcoin in that line in other for it to realize it potentials. Now many of us used Bitcoin as a speculative assets and we buy it to makes profit and I think time is coming that it will be a things of the past and our desire then will be to used Bitcoin for payments.

If you can think deeply, anything can be bought by bitcoin even on the last years but only with the consent in both parties, if they agreed to make it by bitcoin. When time passes, society adopt to cryptocurrency slowly and improve its way of life by producing bitcoin ATMs or POS for bitcoin payments.

Right, not all, in our area I only know one restaurant that accepts bitcoin but for anything else bitcoin isn't accepted, we have to convert it to fiat money before we can purchase something at a store. You mean 'anything'? Well you can buy anything you want if they are accepting bitcoin as payment. You just have to find businesses that offers what you desire that accepts bitcoin for payment.

People need to be aware of the Online Stores that accept cryptocurrencies. We probably need Blockchain based brands that are large and made popular in the crypto community, promoted by the community. This is part of what will make buying and selling with bitcoin  common especially within the crypto space.

There is not yet a great diffusion of crypts in the trades. So not everything can not be bought. But the trend is that soon we will be buying anything, because shopping with crypts is a quick and safe way to buy.

Not at all but there are specific things and doings that you could use bitcoin as a payment method ,according in some news that telling bitcoin was accepted in one country and accepted by the sport which is football you could use bitcoin to buy their freebies and etc.

You can able to pay bitcoin on any stores that accepts it especially on online stores which can easily transfer the payment. There are some but not all country apply it offline because of volatility of crypto and also if it is, I rather used it for investment rather paying cents with it.

Nope! Not all things can be paid using bitcoin. If I will go to the good market, they never had paymaya or gcash QR code beside their tables. I used to pay using my fiat currency so that I can buy some vegetables. However, bitcoin continuously grow. There are some merchandise that accepts crypto payment. I think it all depends on your place because there is still some country that bans Bitcoin.
And there is still some seller who doesn't know Bitcoin so you couldn't pay everything or everyone with it.

I have never made a purchase using Bitcoin because I have not found a purchase or payment using Bitcoin in my country of residence, and I also did not look for it before Bitcoin was developed in my country of residence to be used as a legitimate payment method in stores or anywhere and with like that I'm sure security will be guaranteed.

For now, we can buy something on the internet with bitcoin for a limit product and limit store online. But I think there is an offline store which can allow us to use bitcoin to buy their product. But if in the future, there are many countries or even all countries is accept bitcoin as the new payment method, then we will see bitcoin can be used to buy anything. Unfortunately, until that time comes, we can only sell the bitcoin and exchange it into fiat so we can use fiat to buy anything. I think that will give a benefit to us because we don't have to sell all of the bitcoin we have, but we only sell some part of bitcoin into fiat, and we can save the rest of the amount of bitcoin.

Even though bitcoin has came a long way in terms of acceptance, but it is still hard to find places or at least some of the major retailers that we are used to go to everyday for our needs still don't accept it, that is why we still feel that bitcoin has sill a long way to make before being accepted, you might be able to go to some place and pay with bitcoin in the US but in other countries that is still not not the case, and for that to change i believe that major online shops like amazon and eBay should start accepting so that we can say that bitcoin is widely accepted.

Yes, Bitcoin can be used to buy anything what you want as long as any merchants accept Bitcoin as a payment for their product/services. And it is already happening before if you would just do a quick google search and you will know that most of the product/services offered Bitcoin as a payment option.

Oh cmon. Just find on the main bitcoin web site some stores and airlines, hotels what accept cryptocurrency for payments. In my country for about 5 years, Airbaltic accepts bitcoin.

There are some stores that accept BTC here but I don't usually want to use it since I have enough money to spend in my wallet and I just wanted to save or hold them than use them. As long as that merchant or person knows the value or the price of BTC, he will be accepting that but if they don't know what it is, they will obviously not accept that.

Actually you can just buy very limited things with Bitcoins considering which country , which place you are in, it is very difficult already , companies might think about making it a payment option but let's be honest we never see it online.

Perfectly happy with converting to fiat first.   The thread should have an added note, you cannot buy anything with btc, but you can buy anything with btc profits.   

In any case, it all depends on who And how much Bitcoin is at its disposal.  If the savings are not very large, then it is a pity to use Bitcoin for any purchases that may later cease to be necessary.  Better to get a good income, kept Bitcoin for a long time.  Especially today there are not so many opportunities where you can use Bitcoin for some purchases.

Its not about the number of bitcoins but its the ability of buying anything .  the guys simply explains that fiat is still the mighty currency because anything can be bought at it while on bitcoin not all stuffs can be buy yet but i know that in the future when bitcoin is fully known by the world that was the time that it can be accepted by any merchants or any stores  but right now only limited items can be bought with bitcoins and most of them are digital (  e.g in game currencies , prepaid recharge , etc .. )

In theory yes, everything could be bought with Bitcoin. But in real life the problem is that not much merchants are accepting Bitcoin, especialy not in phisical stores. Bitcoin is still not enough accepted as a payment method.
One of the solution is Bitcoin debit card that could be used for payments everywhere for everything but that is not direct Bitcoin payment.

you're right, in general, you might be able to use bitcoin to buy what you like. only, the development of bitcoin as a medium of exchange in the real world did not develop so large. not so many people accept it. but, there are various ways that you can use bitcoin as a medium of exchange.

Even at that, that will be for the future because there are still stuff that needs small amount of Bitcoin to purchase but due to Bitcoin high fee, it makes it difficult to purchase such Minor items with Bitcoin at present, but with the LN we can be rest assured of everything be purchase by Bitcoin.

Technically speaking, anything can be bought with bitcoin if only merchants will accepts cryptocurrency as payments. In our place there is a restaurant that accepts bitcoin and we can make online payments using it but for other things we have to exchange it to fiat for us to purchase at a store.

The answer is simple. You can open the most popular online markets and find people, who offer things for Bitcoin. I personally met these advertisements on the Craigslist. Additionally, many online shops accepting crypto work.

Yes, many many commercial brands are accepting Bitcoin as a mode of exchange so, now besides just holding Bitcoin, you can utilize it in your daily life and ultimately it will help to increase awareness, acceptance, and flow of Bitcoin in the mainstream market.

There are only few businesses in my place where they fully accept cryptocurrency so we can’t sat yet that you can buy anything with bitcoin, it is still not sufficient. Big companys choose to adopt later, they are just waiting for regulation and for bitcoin to stabilize so they can’t lose money if the price dumps easily, well its really a choice of every individual and company.

As long as you can use it to store value and can readily convert it to fiat, it's all good.    I can't use gold bars or Microsoft share certificates at my local Best Buy either.

Yes, in Poland we have even some restaurants where you can pay with some cryptocurrencies. These are now more and more popular paying method.

I am Romanian. In my country when buying food (or goods) I can pay with cash, I can pay with credit card or I can pay with a phone that has NFC (and money) on it.
  I can buy on the internet some products with PayPal (from ebay, and from other Romanian stores) or I can withdraw PayPal to a bank account or to a card. I am using bitcoin to pay now and then on the internet, or I am withdrawing bitcoin to PayPal (with Coinbase) or I consider using a Bitcoin ATM to withdraw cash.

Thus I consider that I can buy everything with Bitcoin in Romania (some Romanian internet websites accept Bitcoin)

I came from a third world country and I saw one store that is near me that they are accepting bitcoin as payment. Well, it's natural and supposedly this should be the way cryptocurrency works. It's climbing slowly up.

I have also privately bought from individuals here as well. I simply asked if I may pay in bitcoin or crypto and they said yes and gave me an address. I say private because we didn't use the official checkout. You see some people don't use payfast for certain reasons so they have to do private transactions.

I don`t think anything can be bought by Bitcoin. Most of the stores don`t know what is bitcoin yet and also don`t accept bitcoin.

I didn't got any products with Bitcoin but I have done recharges many time with Bitcoin. Sometime I tried to pay my my bills with Bitcoin but unfortunately that services not available for my city.
other than that there are plenty of sites providing Bitcoin payment option so you can utilise that and make the payment with Bitcoin to buy the products.

It seems to me that the situation with the massive use of Bitcoin can change only after the real legalization of cryptocurrency.  The fact is that most countries do not have any laws regarding cryptocurrency, and all operations with cryptocurrency are outlawed.  Nevertheless, every businessman must keep a real record of their activities, even the owners of online stores.

There are many countries that people are freely to spend their bitcoin and convert in to cash in instant in every legal way just like here in my country,im just curious of what punishments you get from using bitcoin there.

We are gradually letting go of fiat currency. The world is shifting into a cashless community. People are starting to spend with cards and crypto. However, crypto spending is much lesser than card spending. There are several reasons. For example, Bitcoin is not that widely accepted yet. Although there are already online and actual stores that are accepting Bitcoin, this is still very limited for now. Another would be the rising prices, causing people to rather HODL them than spend them.

I still prefer btc as a digital gold that be used as a currency for buying products like our basic necessities. If people see btc as similar as gold, it will be viewed as a precious asset because no one wants to use it or sell it and you would rather hoard it and keep it for many years. But if we use it as a currency, then it's just an ordinary as the fiat and its price won't appreciate so much.

It's possible to realize that, there are 3rd parties who will bridge to make that possible if bitcoin is still not fully acceptable in your country.
The good thing with bitcoin is it's the most popular in crypto, therefore it will not die, instead it will grow, the LN network is a 3rd party and it could help to make transaction faster and cheaper, for sure we will see more of that in the long run as crypto if compared to a country it's a developing country.

Opportunities to buy anything for bitcoins are becoming more and more. I hope that in the next couple of years major online stores will officially accept cryptocurrency for payment. The market will develop and everything goes to this.

In my opinion, that is quite true of the development and popularity of Bitcoin, Bitcoin can buy anything even to pay supermarket bills, but many countries have unsupported attitudes. Bitcoin is concerned about political influence, hoping that these barriers will soon be removed in order for the full development of Bitcoin.

I do not think that the government is filled with fools who easily forbid something without in-depth study? so I don't think that they forbid bitcoin for no apparent reason, of course they have a strong reason for it, which is good for them, even though it's not good for us. but of course every era will change, governments will also change, technological changes will make them rethink the legality of bitcoin

The obstacles that huge or developed countries are facing are a lot different than the ones that small or underdeveloped countries are facing. Bitcoin payment in advanced countries is not much hard to implement given the fact that the perfect technological circumstances are already there. It only needs a nod by the government authorities and everything will go fine. In small and underdeveloped countries, the problem is much deeper and basic such electricity, internet, lack of smartphones, and even the lack of capacity to use smartphones.

If yes :o then it will be the nicest thing I have read today, because the only thing restricting the BTC growth is the barricades it has. Trading BTC and using it to buy and sell purpose is the transforming way to bring Bitcoin in mainstream business.

As of now there is very limited access to services and Marketplaces with bitcoin acceptance. The present market is under the widening phase, so we can expect more to get for bitcoin in the future. Now if we need to buy anything for bitcoin, we can't get it instantly we need to explore and find someone who is providing services in exchange for bitcoin.

Anything can be bought by Bitcoin if the seller accepts the cryptocurrency as a mode of payment. In many countries, Bitcoin has started being accepted by retailers and business houses as a mode of payment.
Bitcoin has slowly started catching pace but still has a long way to go in the field of its acceptability as legal or exchangeable tender.
The question entirely depends on two grounds:
•   Whether or not it is legal tender in a country.
•   If the seller or business accepts Bitcoin as an exchange for its goods or services.

That's obvious. However, online purchases of US dollars via VISA cards are still in common use because of their usability.
Our world is aiming to use crypto instead of using flat currencies, but Bitcoin seems to be inadequate. Because Bitcoin is a virtual currency that has appeared for 10 years, so it is old technology. I think there will be another currency to replace it in online trading.

I am from India. Here most of the people are poor. They don't have any knowledge regarding Bitcoin. Even the rich person who may have Bitcoin can't use Bitcoin for purchasing anything. Today most of the people preferred digital payment like paytm, Google pay, phone pay and many more not the virtual one like Bitcoin.
Yes Bitcoin may have future but not present. You can't buy your household items or daily day to day life things with the help of bitcoins.
