Are you interested in IEO? How about your opinion? I think IEO trend will run to end of this year and IEO is one of the good speculation channel.

I think they are over-hyped at the moment, much as ICOs were back in 2017. Certainly they can be profitable, particularly the Binance ones. I'm just not sure about long-term holding of coins from IEOs. It is difficult to separate the value of the project from the level of hype involved.

Yes im, because the successful IEO brings more than a hundred profits instantly. IEO is the same as ICO and that will be running forever. We are moving toward the era of digitalization and that makes sense for more platform interested to develop their own solution or a new product to help us transform into digitalization

By 2017 ico's were more popular among the cryptocurrency users, and more services were tokenized and gained good growth in a short time period than expected. Further more scams began to strike the market and as a part everything started to fall off other than the potential projects that continued with the development. Now IEO is a big part in the crypto ecosystem with more exchanges supporting the listing of the tokens for trading within few days. Myself interested as almost every IEO has profited users with good return on the investment.

ICO took more than 3 years I guess so IEO is unlikely to end by this year. Maybe after a year or two there will be a new trend setter for investing  that will be done by exchanges.

I am interested in the IEO, for me IEO is a good way to make short investment in new altcoins. Sa far its profitable for me especially IEO on Binance Launchpad becaus many IEO project on Binance Launcepad are successful.

Of course who wouldn't be interested on such IEO like Harmony? Which bring like huge profits for investors. I do not think so. Although IEO is currently helping investors with a lot of profits, sooner or later there will be fraudulent exchange.

Other small exchange can scam anytime they want. then they will leave the trading floor and run away at any time.

IEO will be a new form of fund raising to replace ICO and STO. But I think it will be hot in just a few months, and then investors will buy tokens in ICO projects. According to what I know, the fee when listing on exchange is quite expensive. It will range from hundreds of thousands of dollars to millions of dollars.
According to the current situation, I find that the IEO projects are no longer hot and it does not seem to increase too much compared to the asking price.

I am personally interested in the IEO. Because it gives a new color for investment. Because, before investing in the ICO certainly not convincing to get a profit. And after the IEO trend emerged, of course this is very good that makes it possible to invest in the IEO and ICO.

Totally agree with this, IEO replaced ICOs and most likely they are the same, it is not worth it if you hold them for months as most of them will not survive after bull run. It is good for short term and will give you high ROI

It is true, but the IEO project has its own added value compared to the ICO project. Actually it depends on someone's perspective, how to assess and analyze the project, which is clear I suggest choosing and analyzing the launch of the IEO at the top of the exchange....

For me, IEO has come to stay and will replace ICO forever, IEO solves a lot of problem, the issue of scam has reduced significantly because exchange will do the due diligence and also liquidity is guarantee because the token get listed on exchange after IEO, STO was suppose to be the next big thing but it seems people don't want to buy into the idea

Not only me everyone will like to invest good projects on IEO. But please be specific value are going to invest on that project. Check whether it is useful for the crypto market because normally market price use to dumped like something.

There is no finite time period,IEO seems to be better over ICO for raising funds so project who can afford IEO are going for it if there is something better than IEO then again people move towards it so nothing is premanent and everything here is unpredictable.

IEO's can have decent potential especially if the market continues to improve and startups offer more unique and innovative products, and there should also be an increase in popularity in STO's from the second half of this year which will also become attractive to a wide range of investors

I'm seeing a lot of very general statements about IEOs but no real details.  Those letters "IEO" I've seen a lot around the forum lately, and I still don't know what it means.  I'm assuming it's "Initial Exchange Offering"?  Aside from that, I don't have a clue as to what they are.

If what I'm reading here is correct, they do sound like a cash-grab attempt, much like all of those shitty ICOs that ignorant investors fall for.  If someone can give me a brief explanation or a link so I can get schooled about them, I'll be happy to reward that with merit(s).  I'm typically late to the party with these things, and that's on me.

Who will not be interested in having big profit on his or her investment within a short period of time, which we know how huge the profit of IEO can be sometimes on investment, there are thousands of people out there who has been following IEO projects from the moment Binance first launched the PAD which I have been one of them, but unfortunately, many of us has not gotten the chance to be able to successfully participate in any of them.

The cost of joining these projects are quite too high considering the pocket of average investors, and secondly, most people that even have the money does not get the chance to be a part of it because of the rush involved anytime an IEO projects is being released on Binance which usually make the token gets sold out on time.

I am very interested in the IEO, but I am more selective when I want to participate in the IEO, I will only participate in the IEO when it is a place of exchange that has a high reputation such as a binance exchange or kucoin that has more potential to succeed and get many benefits.

I agree with you, for me the IEO is very good in current developments, for me the IEO is very comfortable to invest in the potential of the investor's trust is good and to attract funds according to the target he wants......

but I don't trust all IEOs. I just joined an IEO project at binance. harmony project that successfully sells IEO. I managed to benefit from it, even though purchases were limited, but all the tokens available were exhausted by investors. very promising project.

Concentrate on IEOs from most reputed exchange then you may get some benefits,otherwise its better to stay away from the new projects because even after making decent profits the project might failed most of the time so don't risk your money if you are not a risk taker and completely afford to lose everything.

Personally, my impression with IEO isn't yet duly intact because as far as the information takes place now this was the latest development of trading to be implemented. I guess it would undergo debugging stages, that's why people needed to be more observant with this type of trading ventures to be offered to the public.

I haven't yet got the interest to have involvement with this thing about IEO. This sounds strange at first, because most I heard was ICO and not IEO which was an initial exchange offering. For now I can't give further opinions on this, but I am open for possible learnings which I may gather from time to time I'll become oriented with this matter about IEO.

I am not aware of any IEO outside the Binance Exchange where the price did not collapse again after the completion of the IEO.

seems that your concept of IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) is wrong. it is another crowdfunding strategy for a blockchain project but it is now with the collaboration of exchange. unlike ICOs, IEOs are directly conducted via exchange to raise their development funds. one advantage of this crowdfunding method is that they can trade directly once IEO is over.
while most ICOS = you need to wait for months and months before they hit in the market or will they ever get to the market in the first place?

That's right, you need to treat all these fashionable IEO with distrust. Scammers have been before, so it is now. If you read some celebrities who show interest in cryptocurrency, then they say that they receive many offers to advertise this or that IEO or ICO. It is easy to understand, the teams of such projects count only on PR.

IEO are just a stratagem of exchanges, for what i can see. Honestly i dont see how the final user can benefit from it.

Good point, projects that undergone IEO on binance are successful, and we know that already because of the support of the members of the binance and crypto industry, for me i would still go for IEO why? because IEO is an immediate source of finance to a projects, and its only a little time for IEO compared to an ICO token sale, and there is a high probability that the project maybe successful because they can gather the funds needed in order to start the project.

That is still applicable to all cryptocurrency IMO.  Final user's benefit are yet to be known since token will be exchanging hands.  Basically trading profit is the benefits of the users until the roadmap is delivered .  As of the IEO I used to be interested but it was hard to participate in a known exchange like Binance so I forget about participating in it.

Yes,im interested on IEO but only on Binance but i cant afford to join up due to high requirement.Imagine on purchasing 50-100 BNB first before you would able to participate and also it isn't an assurance due to lottery system where they do choose up for those people who can set in so its still unsure.I didn't tend or plan to join up on other exchange like Yobits IEO because i don't like to experience headache later on.

Yes, I follow IEO and right now IEO is the best choice for investment. I do not care about fake or low volume exchange IEOs, they are a scammer. If you want to make a profit then invest in reputed exchange's IEO, there are a lot of reputed exchange are bringing IEOS, like the Binance, Huobi, Gateio, Kucoin, Bittrex, Bitfinex, Ethfinex, Liquid, GBX and so on!

I'm not an investor to be honest but I think IEO is better compare to an ICO in terms of security and trust.

Investing on IEO is good because it will automatically be listed on that exchange. It can give you profits too same with ICO but the fact that it will plummet after listing is still there. Anyway, investing on an IEO is better for me compare to an ICO as long as it is launched on a reputable exchange.

IEO is basically a transformed ICO. The only difference is that new crypto projects are now using exchanges as their platform rather than do the selling of their tokens or coins on their own. I cannot say I would support IEO in general. If the particular project is great, then probably investing is an option. But if it appears dubious to me, then I would not invest on it. The criteria for my decision to support or not a particular project are basically the same regardless of where they are offering their tokens or coins. 

even today I only trust and invest in the IEO carried out by binance. many projects announced the sale of their IEO in several exchanges which I myself had doubts about the exchange. if the project is good, he will choose to register their sales in a good exchange. it's very simple.

I am interested in them since I noticed that there is a lower risk of IEOs being scams. And also, the profit is much better than ICOs. But not all of course. There are still ICOs that out performs some IEOs.

In comparison with ICO,  I think IEO is more advantageous than ICO. There are already successfuo IEO launched and accepted in a particular exchanges like Binance. With their strict rules to be accepted by exchanges, it is a good way to prevent scammers to do unnecessary things since the tokens/coins will directly be purchased from an exchange.  Hope this will continue and build good reputation unlike ICO who only created from the benefits of fund raisers and fraudsters.

That is the best place to actually get an IEO with good reputation, Binance still has it all when it comes to IEO, but the issue that has always surrounded IEO for some people who are willing to participate is their inability to successfully make an entrance for it as a result of the rush for it by thousands of investors who are lined up to participate in it, so it is more like first come first serve, and no  matter how hard you try to be on the line first, you may never get the slot, except luck shines on you.

So many people have no choice than to give in to some of these other IEO they can easily participate in without much rush, just that there is no guarantee that they the IEO they are guarantee is one with integrity and would not just be like other ICOs that are scam too, because IEO can also be open to scam, and the best way to avoid this is still to participate with the reputable ones.

I think the IEO is trending everywhere, for me, the IEO is good at selling tokens through the stock exchange, in selling through the stock exchange, it was quickly different from the ICO for months. Maybe all investors were interested in the IEO with a good concept.

Not myself but many people who are looking to invest in the new crypto projects go with the initial exchange offer in because the success rate is high when compared to the initial coin offering and also their trust the exchanges which are promoting that they will not promote a scam project.

yes i am interested on ieo's more than an ico's because everyone is saying that ieo's were safe and doesnt have any potential scam attempts since most of the exchange that do ieo's are all reputable  .

 however i dont yet tried to invest on an ieo's because im still in low budget but i am willing to join if there are bounty or airdrops that are based on ieo's . so far i dont see them maybe because they are new yet so i guess i will only stick on ico based bounties and airdrops for now  .

It seems that an IEO program is indeed better than the ICO project, but I joined one of the IEO projects that was rigged by the exchanger, so in the end we were the bounty hunters who became victims.

IEO is a fix for everything that is wrong in ICO and it will stay for good as long as exchanges are doing everything to make it fair and clean for investors, investors now are turning to IEO because it makes things easier for them, compare to ICO where everything is very long the long ICO period the long wait to get in the market and the long wait to see your profit.

that is certainly important to do. but sometimes I exclude everything for IEO projects that are open in binance exchanges. when the IEO is done at binance I have thought if the project is definitely good. and will get good sales. for IEO on another exchange, I have to think a few more times.

because it is too expensive, and not everyone has the opportunity to make the first price of coins launched at binance grow more than their initial price. if you have capital don't miss it. The binance IEO is very profitable.

As a member of the Bounty companies today, in most cases I choose only those projects that pass through IEO, and not ico.  First of all, my choice is due to the fact that the trading exchanges that conduct IEO conduct a thorough analysis of new projects. Not actually be IEO won't also a chance to lose its good prospects, just like it happen to ICO. Maybe we could look IEO as a promising project but how it could sustain in the long run. Idax is full with manipulation and we can see that just through its book order and there was a lot of suspicious things. SEC already suspected idax as the next scam exchange site and i thought that idax will be running away with the money in the future. Idax is a garbage exchange site.

I can bet that it can’t be Binance IEO, it would rather be all these small exchanges trying to carry out IEO, or some of these scammers that have created exchanges for this purpose, I wish you could call out the name of the exchanger so that people can beware of such exchange so they don’t fall victim too.

I hope this type of exchanges will not start to gradually reduce the reputation for IEO, because as of now, it is still the safest means of investment that can guarantee the investor both security and profit, I mean IEO from reputable exchanges, which I don’t think they have ever failed in this aspect so far. The sole challenge I just see with exchanges that are trusted for IEO is that the projects on them are hard to get, and this may be why people are giving chances to other exchanges.

I tried it few times on Binance Launchpad, but I never had enough luck to get into list. In few miliseconds all tokens were sold. And after listing almost all coins made 300% return, I was so sad that I wasn´t lucky, but I forgot about that and trying to earn money elsewhere.  :'(

Of course, if the project is really promising, then the sale of coins occurs fairly quickly and is almost impossible to catch.  But today there are very few good projects and we have to deal with those companies that still have to prove their advantage.

Yes, it is certainly good that you can immediately trade tokens, but there is a catch here, everyone who did not have time to buy immediately rush to buy them, and what happens to them after two months, is very likely a strong fall.

Actually, I’m tired of working and losing my money on the company’s ico market.  Already, some projects have confirmed their financial viability, which IEO conducted.  This is a real indicator for me.

I think the IEO is not much different from the ICO or other ways of selling. there will still be many scam projects in several small exchanges. this is actually a way to die of exchange if they don't work with a good project. because some of their communities will feel cheated if the IEO done fails. it will be bad for future exchanges.

Even i tried much time about the IEO in Binance Launchpad but failed to accompany the coins, failed many times to get at least little percentage in it. Yes, almost every coin cross their value to higher percentage and even the developments of those coins seems to be high which they have already launched the main net.

now maybe the IEO at binance requires expensive capital to get tickets. because everything is measured by the ownership of the BNB token, there is something better because each member is limited to being able to follow the purchase. I myself have only been following the Harmony project once.

Have you try to invest in IEO? seems like you get a wrong point here. Each exchange have its platform to launch IEO project, such as Binance and the name for their platform is Binance launchpad, Okek exchange is Jumpstart and ETC.

Which is mean if you choose binance launchpad to take part in their platform then soon the token's project will be listed on binance exchange and it is same with OKEK exchange and the other exchange. Regarding to some bounties who will took an IEO ways then it is depend on their teams itself and the platform exchange itself. Because an exchange will try hard to do an analyst with some project that will launch on their platform.

I think everybody already know what is IEO in common. But on my perspective, IEO are the new method for scamming a new project (CEO), And this was doing by some exchange. off course, CEO must pay a lot of BTC for doing IEO at the exchange. Fee are for doing IEO depending on the rank of exchange. Approx (5-10 BTC) maybe more. If the deal are done, then, exchange start for doing market manipulation to attract another investor. Promise for exchange listing after that, then BOOM. CEO and investor was trapped in same hole.

But i will say no for those shitty exchange sites that created shitty IEO. Exchange site is indeed bringing more security to the investors but some exchange sites that have already manipulated its volume can't be considered as exchange site which has a good reputation too.

you have interest in new challenging projects. I myself did not dare to join the new project either ICO knew the IEO. I only followed it once and no longer, on IEO investments in binance. I got a profit but I was never sure of a new project anymore. like I believe in projects that I have participated in.

My opinion IEO is the solution when ICO starts to deteriorate in the eyes of investors and one of the advantages of IEO is project has been filtered by an exchange so the big hope avoid project scam

Yes, I am quite interested in IEO at the moment. I am not a good trader and I just like to invest, IEO is one of the calling programs that are bringing me the most profit.

As you said you are lucky bro. Those 2 exchange are giving massive impact to that project for doing IEO. But we don't know the result if they are on another ship (different exchange). So this same like gambling.

Now, with the advent of new popularity in the cryptocurrency market, an additional fussy is created around the IEO. And the more interest in Bitcoin is rising, the interest in new projects placing IEO on exchanges is growing accordingly.

This might be the case for some exchanges that there intention is to defraud people, but this is  not the case with Binance, with Binance, I will say that CEO of these projects has even enjoyed the more, so as the investors too, so everyone benefits from it. The exchange gets its listing fee from serious minded project, the developers of the projects  gets their projects funded with a very short period of time, and investors gets high rate of interest shortly after the sales is concluded, so in what way has any of them been defrauded.

Look at Harmony project that was recently conducted by Binance, harmony was running their ICO project normally but could still not meet up, after several weeks of running campaign, it took Binance less than 1 week to get the required fund and investors for them through their IEO platform, they might have paid heavily for it, but they got the result for what they paid for.

just because its trending does that mean its okay to invest on it ? there is a risk on every investment including ieo's  . before you join the crowd , you must first pack your self with knowledge regarding on the ieo that you will be investing with   .

Yes, much better than ICOs that actually end up as scam most of the time. And there is more assurance when it comes to IEOs than ICOs. But there are still good ICOs out there that can outclass an IEO. I think IEOs got the trend now.

Only the names changed from ICO to IEO. Projects also fail when they enter the market. All ICOs not on top exchanges fail.

Honestly, i agree with this. Because with or without exchanges as platform, IEO and ICO is same. What to be true challenges for developer is how they maintain their project after success in their fund raising. Because without IEO, there are some ICO that reach hardcap. But when in market, developer look not serious and cause the project is dead, and their token not have any value anymore.

sometimes IEO becomes the thing that has been eagerly awaited for investors, even more so if the sale is made on a popular market. Guys like you probably never participated in any IEO before. I am on Bittrex platform and the past 4 IEOs there all failed. The first one made 20% profit on listing day and then went down and down. The 2 3 and 4th ones immediately lost money as soon as people started being able to sell it.

Those IEO that fails failed because the exchange for which the IEO is being released is also a failure, all those exchanges are not to be trusted, especially those that does not have a name and not only name alone, but reputation because they don’t really care about the market, the project, the developer or the investor, all they just care about is that listing fee, and provided they get that, everything really goes into their platform for them to promote, and eventually, they don’t even have any history of success as much as the project on the top exchanges with reputation does.

If I am to buy any IEO coin right now, I will make sure it is only from projects that are being released form these top exchanges that usually do their investigation before allowing one.

I really like IEO, which is how investors are protected and not scammed by projects.
Even though IEO is out of trend, it is still a very good deal between 3 parties, Exchanges, Projects and Investors.
all 3 are beneficial and it is better than ICO. So I think IEO will last very long.

Now even I no longer follow the ICO and prefer IEO. The project is actually very good because to get tokens, it can directly buy-in exchange. If the project is already listed in exchange and there are even buy and sell transactions. I guess we don't have to worry anymore about the project already or haven't been listed in the exchange.

I have a suggestion that you should be more cautious in choosing an IEO project because there will probably be a fake project as well.

I followed it once on the Harmony project and haven't joined IEO again. in addition to participating in IEO binance requires substantial initial capital by having a BNB in our account, there is something interesting about IEO binance. although the initial capital spent quite a lot but somehow investors who are ready to buy IEO still in large quantities.

I think IEO has a positive impact on the world of cryptocurrency, reduces scammers, and guarantees a token to be listed on a particular exchange. only that needs to be considered is the quality of the project and the credibility of the exchange, follow only the IEO on large exchanges, do not participate in IEO carried out by less trusted exchanges, let alone exchanges with problems and don't have a good trading volume.

We actually have the same considerations when it comes on joining IEO which I do only spot out projects on Binance Launchpad and I don't bother to look into other exchange but somehow participating on the sale is still not an assurance due to that ticket or lottery based system for those people who can able to join the sale.It does really need some sufficient amount of BNB before you would able to join which I can say that's pretty heft some huge amount for some but there are still lots of people who do really pursue on joining up even the required tokens is somewhat high.IEO is profitable but as normal thing not all will have the same impact.

every investment wherever there is a fraud, but I see the growth of crypto now has progress as held by IEO whose sales are in many markets, such as binance, bittrex, kucoin and many more but this is the best way to reduce the level of fraud and I am glad there is an IEO program which until now running will enliven the crypto market that will develop

I am not too interested with IEO programs, and I don't know why but I feel that I prefer to wait until the project is adding in the exchange coin list so I can buy it later. I think that will give me a chance to buy with a low price because if I check on every new project that has been listed on the exchange, the price will be dump so hard into the very lowest price. Listing on binance takes a lot of time and lot of research is done as well, It is meant protect investors while also demanding a good tokenomics. Yes, I am very interested in IEO. It is one of the trends that made me regain what I lost in 2018.
I think IEO is the most perfect version to date. While investors were still worried about the scam of the project and had to analyze the team very carefully, it was handled by reputable exchanges such as Huobi Global, Binance or Gate.io.
We no longer have to worry about fraud, the mission of investors is to analyze ideas as well as technology, it alleviates quite a lot of pressure for investors.

IEO's are still evolving but they shouldn't be looked at presently as fund raising mechanisms but more as a mechanism to distribute tokens in a very visible way and with a level of KYC and AML.

This isn't me being down on IEO's, I've had exchanges say the same thing to me.
Some exchanges take a high up-front fee and in exchange they bring together a large number of vetted participants, a high level of marketing and a very visible way to launch a coin on the market. There is a steep up-front fee but you get a level of quality for it.
Some exchanges take little or no up-front fee but they require you to have a fund at least twice the size of the target raise already in place. This fund is for buying back coins sold in the IEO to support the price and put it up to at least 2X which is sufficient for the IEO participants to exit. Less up front fee but more ongoing cost. The reason is that this expenditure is to support the fee and raise awareness of a new coin through an exchange.

Regardless of route there's a high cost element at the start, whether you're paying fees or creating a fund to support a coin sale price. So an IEO is more of a marketing tool and way to launch a new coin to market rather than a way to raise money for a project.

But the IEO market is changing and I hope that more projects tackle IEO's in an ethical way, being more transparent. I do see potential for IEO's and there have been some interesting IEO projects, I'd like to see a report on how many IEO's there have been, how many made a project for investors, how much was raised for projects taking into account buy backs of coins, how many projects went on to financial success. We shouldn't throw the baby out with the bathwater, we should as an industry be working to make all token events including IEO's as clean as possible.

In my opinion, IEO is no longer hot and it is starting to become normal. no more pump x15, x20 anymore.
Now exchanges are running out of money to PR for their exchange in this pump, things are cooling down and this is not a good time to buy tokens for normal IEO projects.

Just to add to this, I've found several good, ethical exchanges so there are some out there and hopefully they will drag up the more questionable exchanges. So do your due diligence on the exchange. I've heard there's a project running to list all the exchanges running IEO's along with a rating and look at their practices to call out the bad exchanges and highlight the good.

IEO make me interested again to invest in crypto and i think IEO is more simple than ICO. In my opinion invest in IEO project it's more easy because i don't need to make a researh about the project, just login to the best and trusted exchange like Binance and Huobi i will find a good IEO project.

Most of the IEO result will show up on the last Quarter of this year. so until the result comes and whether it will be a good or a bad one, base on how many IEO's will become successful surely there will be another IEO trend next year.

IEO is a safe choice for investors and indeed the trend is being mentioned by the Crypto community during the past 4 months. I think there are very few good IEO projects right now and very difficult to participate in good projects at big exchanges because the competitive rate makes it impossible for investors to buy them at IEO prices. I am seeing the opposite side which those projects already done their IEO on Binance or big exchangers does still have the potential to rise up its price.We cant conclude though but the hype is already gradually decreasing.The rate of listing of new projects had lessen up too and the noises around about IEO thing isn't already the same as before.

As far as I know, only IEO projects that are supported by Binace have (only) succeed while the other fails. We can't say that they are scamming just like ICO but people never give some interest with IEO most likely because of their negative thoughts about it and the worries effect that ICO left to the investors.

I think that IEOs are a good thing. They are definitely safer, if conducted by major exchanges. They do come with limitations, however. Like, you cannot invest in a token if the exchange doesn't service your area, even though the region you are located in is not on the restricted list. Apart from that, I don't see and major downsides. It works, and it might stick around for longer than ICOs, since the main problem with ICOs was that most were scams and weak projects, designed to get the money quickly and then who cares what happens to it.
