Title: If you had to choose only one altcoin, which one it would be?
Post by: alfredtorres on July 01, 2019, 02:35:54 PM
Imagine you had to choose only one altcoin for your bag. I can't decide between GRAM, LAW and Libra. The last one is the most questionable: it's popular because of FB but I heard it won't be profitable because of its features of stable coin. GRAM and LAW are great because of its technologies but they are not as popular as Libra. So...yeah that is my problem...And what is your choice?

Don't buy Libra, really. It's still unclear about the attitude of the committee to Zucker's job...

i think i will choose ETH, you know the strong altcoin for now is of course ETH.
ETH is the seccond coin in CMC by volume and who don't know about erc20 chain and it be the basic chain from token now.
BNB is good coin too, but i prefer to choose ETH.
if LIBRA, i think we just need to wait what will happen to LIBRA.

Libra? Even though are already coins that had proven their worth in good or in bad times. Libra is new, the reason it is a hot topic right now is only because it is connected to Facebook, but if not were could that coin go, maybe gone in an instant. There is no need to pick such coins and you just probably buy Ether or LTC, even XRP is worth the try.

I would go for ETH, because I think that Ethereum is one of the most undervalued altcoins on the market. This coin is used literally by everyone and 300 bucks for such a coin is simply silly. Hope things will turn better and ETH will climb to its ATH price.

First choice for me is ethereum, first concept in smart contract, most pair on every exchange beside bitcoin of course, next year when ethereum 2.0 is launch i think this can make ethereum goes to $ 700 again

Of course, it could be Ethereum. Suppose that the ether is comparable in importance with BTC. In this case, I would choose one of the rather large old coins, for example, Cardano or IOTA or NEM.

It must be BNB right now. It has two use for you as a trader, price is gonna spike every time and a fees in the exchange.

That's what I heard about GRAM. Nothing seem is going on so far but the ICO was said to be successful. There could be a thread created that discusses GRAM to be scam , I must have missed it. I wonder how much money and people are buying but end up waiting almost a year now. It could look legit if they were doing IEO today.

if I have to choose between coins in the cryptocurency then I will choose Ethereum ... because Ethereum has proven to be one of the coins that can last until now and Ethereum is in the top 2 position in coinmarketcap based on volume ... I'm sure Ethereum will reach a high price for the next few months ... and why I didn't choose Libra, because Libra hasn't had any certainty to date ...

If I have to have one Altcoin, I will choose Ethereum which I think is always profitable and I'm used to holding Ethereum.
and Ethereum is still the leader in Altcoin and nothing has replaced it, even though there is news that Libra will compete but it has not been proven and what I heard will be launched in 2020 which I think is too early if Libra can
compete with Ethereum and still need a process to develop.

It seems like most of those in this forum will choose ethereum if their wallet can only hold one altcoin, and why is it like that?  because ethereum has been proven now and ethereum is the best altcoin, but if you choose another altcoin, for example the altcoin that is just present is libra, then if you are sure of the coin, choose the coin

of course Ethereum, the second choice after Bitcoin.
please recommend alt which you think can compete with ETH, I think there is no alt as good as eth.

I don't, for the next half year I will choose LTC. I think you already know the reason I chose this coin from ethereum. I also hope to have ethereum, but for the short term, I'm focusing on LTC.

At the current moment, I'll chose BNB.
The scope and utility of BNB has been increasing at a faster pace while it's blockchain is still capable of handling much more traffic at ease. Binance has secretly made a low supply, low fees and faster speed coin that would soon challenge bitcoin.

If I were to chose 1 altcoin to hold that would be eth.

Its a well-established coin next to bitcoin and already prove its worth.

Though the price is not that high, I believe eth can manage to bounce back just like before.

LIBRA is a new coin that is still in the form of a discourse or not yet launched, if we look at the background of LIBRA, of course the coin is a coin from a large company in the world, but I can't take all the choices, because I don't know how coin work, until now I still love ETH as my best choice.

ETH for sure. While Dapps haven't quite lived up to the hype and most ICOs were/are complete disasters, the concept is sound, the team is current, large, and well directed, and adoption is more and more everyday. I still class it in the incredibly risky category as far as investment but Ethereum has a lot of positives when compared to just about any other alt-coin.

Your choices are weird. And not just weird, these are not even top coins. As to Libra, it is not yet offered. And it is not going to be as strong as other people might consider. Remember that a lot of opposition immediately surfaced as soon as Facebook announced that it will be creating its own crypto.

ETH is the second in rank and first among altcoins. That is definitely my choice.

Libra
won't be profitable because of its features of stable coin.

Yes, Libra will be a stable coin so won't increase in value.

If I had to choose only one altcoin, I'd choose one that is high in cap so has a good chance of success and less chance of complete failure. Top alts may not go x1000 like some low cap coins do, but they are much much less risky.

Totally agree with you on this.

I like Litecoin but I have Bitcoin for that. I like smart contract platforms but really,,, do I need all those platforms and Dapps to play cat games? Bitcoin smart contracts exist too. EOS/XRP and whatever centralized coin I totally do not need.

Yes I can be private on Bitcoin and mix and all that but Monero does all this specifically.

Are there other options besides stable coin? or centralized coin?

There are a lot of decentralized coin which has potential and I'm sure you get benefit if you choose it.

Such as ETH where we all know soon ETH will face a fork, Litecoin which is will face a halving on August or even ADA which has been successful with their testnet on 27 june ago. Maybe it will guide you to gain a lot of profit depend on your capital comparing to choose these coins I guess.

I will choose Libra, why? because of the popolarity and I think Libra will have a large community, Price cryptocurrency is determined by demand and considering Libra is a cryptocurrection made by large companies, it can also be said that the person behind this cryptocurrency is a big person.  Judging from the current cryptocurrency, in my opinion that has great potential in the cryptocurrency market in the future is USDT.

if many new platform occur in market , as ethereum investors we have to pay attention on it.we see today many projects migrate to binance chain , and maybe it be the early of massive migration.maybe bnb coins should alternative too.

if it's me, I won't choose one. it's hard to get a profit from stable coins because surely the price won't change. if we buy a lot there might be a little profit. but if only a little better forget it. no matter how popular the coin is, as long as the coin is a stable coin the price will remain the same as when we bought it at the beginning. just look at USDT, USDC and others.

I don't know about GRAM and LAW, but I know about Libra, because Libra has a relationship with Facebook, making Libra popular, but I suggest you better not invest in new coin, because the coin doesn't have a real project, so what was promised by the coin has not been proven and I would rather advise you to invest in coin that already have a real project, so I'm sure the coin will definitely increase and my suggestion for a good coin to invest for now is UBT, because I see UBT has a real project and of course the price of UBT hasn't increased very high, so the opportunity for the price of UBT to increase very high will surely occur, but it's just that we have to be patient until the price of UBT increases very high and gives a big profit.

Ethereum is the head for the entire altcoins, upon which I prefer ethereum. Also it is one upon which the growth of rest of the altcoins were decided. A portfolio should comprise different set of altcoins with which it is possible to keep ourself on the safer side rather than having a single altcoin.

Having a single altcoin will cause loss if that particular altcoin experience loss, but the same can be compromised minimizing loss if we have a diversified portfolio with different set of altcoins.

I don't get emotional with any coin, I only trade the fundamentals and technicals and leave when the time is right. Until some of these coins mentioned are listed and traded for a while that I can decide to jump in or not, had some bad experience with ICO's and I do not make rash decisions based on sentiments anymore

There is no assurance that a particular coin will continue to go uptrend at all times. For the fact that a coin has both its all time high and all time low, you should know that a regular monitoring is required. Even the coin that seems to be the best, which is bitcoin, is presently going downtrend, let alone any other coin that is not yet as established as it is.

I would have chosen Ethereum, but the death of the ICO market had a very negative influence on that coin. I am afraid that the ATH attained in 2017 may never be reached again. Right now BCH is looking very attractive, although it is not a very popular choice here. The Bitcoin transaction fee continues to rise, and it is going to benefit the acceptability and usage of BCH.

Ethereum is a very good choice. But if now I am more happy with litecoin, it means that I don't like ethereum. Because in the near future Litecoin provides a good advantage. Therefore I will choose Litecoin.
Talking about advantages I don't think litecoin will offer that much in the future, while Ethereum is trying hard to make perfect the coin meanwhile litecoin is like the lite version of bitcoin it doesn't require that much specialty or quirks because it is baiscally bitcoin but lite while Ethereum is a smart contract platform.

I will choose ETHEREUM as it will be the best second to BITCOIN as a standard currency in this crypto world.
About libra it is good to participate but i am not seeing it good for a long term as the hype will go low in the near future.

So...yeah that is my problem...And what is your choice?
indeed the popular one is better but if there are still a lot of mistakes in it, it's just the same, as the technology that doesn't develop is just that. It is better to have attractive features and technology to be able to develop and be liked by many people better because the benefits will come at the right time later.

If I have to choose, I will not choose between your choices. Because I don't know the prospect of the three coins of your choice. I would only recommend Ethereum or Ripple, because they have promising prospects in the future.

For me, there is the only true coin, on which I have high hopes, it is ethereum.  But I can never rely on just one project and therefore I will invest in a minimum of 10 coins.  Even if I have not an impressive capital, and he has limited funds, then I will be able to gradually allocate them to all the projects I like.

Facebook's coins will be as difficult as the current crypot because it is sponsored by Facebook. So its price is difficult to have the same level of increase or decrease as the current crypto. However, one thing is that Libra is facing major legal obstacles in Europe

I don't get emotional with any coin, I only trade the fundamentals and technicals and leave when the time is right. Until some of these coins mentioned are listed and traded for a while that I can decide to jump in or not, had some bad experience with ICO's and I do not make rash decisions based on sentiments anymore
I have been obsessed with nothing but BNB these days long. The reason behind this is the crazy rise in the market value of BNB and in the rate of adoption of the Binance coin. Despite the Binance hack, BNB kept gaining weight in the market and this was very impressive. My BNB coins ever since have gained value and I am in surplus. I think this coin will have the crypto future.

it's a good choice. litecoin in the short term and preparing to receive profits when litecoin is stable we can start back to ethereum for the long term. My strategy in the short term is now like that.

Litecoin has increased 5-7 times since the beginning of this year if anyone buys for $ 26. I do not think that investing in it now is wrong, but with such an altcoin, I will find another altcoin that is not yet pumped.

If I am going to choose one altcoin that would be Ethereum, for obvious reasons, I would not take Libra coin, it's a stable coin I'm very much into a coin which is volatile and had a potential to make a thousand percentage profit and Ethereum has done this in the past and still doing it.

I prefer Libra. Libra is indeed a stable coin because the movement is controlled. I think libra will also get a good position because it is very easy to get public trust. Libra is easy to get public trust because it gets full support from Facebook. Even though technologically, libra is not the most capable but with this stable feature makes libra able to compete. Later as time goes by, Libra can make improvements so that the coin will bring more benefits. I believe that.

I would choose eth. It's been here since most of the altcoins these days that exist and already contributed so much to the blockchain community. Consistent top 2 on coinmarket cap. Because of their ethereum blockchain many erc-20 tokens were created. Their team is continuously improving their project.

If Libra could bring more benefits, I only think of one thing which allows borderless and limitless transactions and thats it. There's no more special of Libra because it is a stablecoin, compared to ETH that is a smart contract platform it could have many and various functionality but not Libra, that coin basically designed for one thing.

Then look for the popular ones that are within the top 50 in the popular coinmarketcap or any popular exchange, I have never heard of these two before now, Libra coin that is even yet to be released has gained popularity more than some of these altcoins even though I do not think the hype will last long because it already has some discouraging features, but at least the team is still working hard to ensure that the project becomes popular and they are really getting the necessary attention for now.

I think  the developers of these other projects are not very active, and there is no way a project can be completely successful if the developers are not active, aside the quality of the product itself. The best investment is to be placed on these coins that we know ourselves are popular enough to have the volume that will always boost the value.

Ever since I started investing in cryptocurrency, I have never for once invested in stable coins, so Libra is going out the list for sure cause I'm not going to invest in it. No matter how popular it is, I don't care, cause I don't know their main purpose for creating this coin, but according to the rumor that is going round the crypto community, a lot people believes that Facebook wants to use it as a means to be getting information on how people spend money daily, and that's going to be useful to their adverts business. But anyway, just like I have said, I'm not going to think twice in knocking that Libra off the list. As for the GRAM and LAW, I haven't heard of those two before… So Nothing to say.

Those coins that OP has mentioned where quite popular, Libra still not existing but the plan is there so it's not a rumor anymore. GRAM will conduct it's IEO but this project has been all over the year without any report on how they did last time. Law? I'm not familiar with that coin. Everyone has ethereum and I don't think that's enough reason not to consider it just to be unique.

If i must pick by my choice i will pick ETH. But if you OP really confused about 3 that you mention, i will wait first and see Libra's movement. Altcoin beside their technology, hype really affect on it and it we can use the moment, libra's hype will be good to make profit.

To me Libra does not like a cryptocurrency which follows Satoshi's spirit of financial freedom. Instead, by using it you will lock yourself into an ecosystem primarily controlled by for profit companies which do not care about privacy at all.

All people here are quite old-fashioned, they are focused only on BTC and ETH. That's also weird for me...

Check Gram and especially LAW. I listed them as I appreciate their tech and solid teams a lot

Ok, thank you

Libra
won't be profitable because of its features of stable coin.

Yes, Libra will be a stable coin so won't increase in value.

If I had to choose only one altcoin, I'd choose one that is high in cap so has a good chance of success and less chance of complete failure. Top alts may not go x1000 like some low cap coins do, but they are much much less risky.

I see that the majority is skeptical to Libra...

That suits me. And as for the miner, is S17 good for now, what do you think?

In my opinion, yes. Cause performance indexes are rather high, so you know..

I also prefer to combine my alts, it's safer to me

Not really, anonymous coin is basically the same coin and there's no such thing as "always need their privacy safe" if it can be done with ordinary altcoins, just don't reveal your identity too harshly or boldly then you will be fine, anonymous coin in my opinion is unnecessary if you are not doing something weird.

If i had to choose only one altcoin for now, definitely I would go for Ethereum ETH. It holds a strong position on the coinmarketcap and it's of good potentials. At this moment, I won't go for the facebook LIBRA coin. Can't be trusted yet.

Totally agree with you!

My first choice would be ETH. I can see the great future of ETH. It's the most popular coin after BTC and has a good potential.

As i see Eth and Btc is almost the same and following each pump and dump price. But i don't see any other potential coins besides from top10 coins in coinmarketcap.

Traditional view of crypto... ;D

if I only choose one altcoin, I think choosing ETH is the right thing.
remember that ETH is also the same as other coins but ETH is in the prime position in the altcoin class.
for LIBRA I don't think I chose coins because I'm not sure and there are many negative responses to coins.

I've also heard them, that's why I won't choose Libra

I would choose eth. It's been here since most of the altcoins these days that exist and already contributed so much to the blockchain community. Consistent top 2 on coinmarket cap. Because of their ethereum blockchain many erc-20 tokens were created. Their team is continuously improving their project.

Like everyone here :)

If i must pick by my choice i will pick ETH. But if you OP really confused about 3 that you mention, i will wait first and see Libra's movement. Altcoin beside their technology, hype really affect on it and it we can use the moment, libra's hype will be good to make profit.

Yeah, you are right. Libra has hype only, no technology at all

It's a stable coin, right? So people look for so much stability that they always become destabilized. Good luck to that 'Libra'.

Finally someone with right words!

Libra is easy to get public trust because it gets full support from Facebook. Even though technologically, libra is not the most capable but with this stable feature makes libra able to compete. Later as time goes by, Libra can make improvements so that the coin will bring more benefits. I believe that.

LIBRA is a new coin that is still in the form of a discourse or not yet launched, if we look at the background of LIBRA, of course the coin is a coin from a large company in the world, but I can't take all the choices, because I don't know how coin work, until now I still love ETH as my best choice.

That's also my point of view, as I still unsure about Libra. It's popular now but it has some features that disappoint me af

I will choose Ethereum as many of the altcoins today whether old or the new ones still uses its platform. It has a nice future and always comes second to Bitcoin.
if many new platform occur in market , as ethereum investors we have to pay attention on it.we see today many projects migrate to binance chain , and maybe it be the early of massive migration.maybe bnb coins should alternative too.

Migration in crypto  ;D

Choosing Libra is surely bad :)

All people here are quite old-fashioned, they are focused only on BTC and ETH. That's also weird for me...

So do you choose LAW?

Check Gram and especially LAW. I listed them as I appreciate their tech and solid teams a lot

Why LAW?

to be honest to be able to choose only 1 altcoin it is very difficult but if I only choose 1 coin from all the cryptocurrency I will choose bitcoin, so when I choose altcoin I might just choose ethereum for now ethereum is the best altcoin.

Personally, I would chose a coin and project that provides good passive income.  Bitbond BB1 token is an STO (security token offerering) that offers a form of bonds on the blockchain.  It gives a passive return of at least 4% per quarter and an annual return based on the loan performance of its business lending platform.  If you are busy and don't want to watch your altcoin day by day then buying a stable coin that gives dividends is the way to go.  The best part is Bitbond pays dividend in Stellar Lumens (XML), so you can hold one coin and generate the second. At the end of 10 years Bitbond will buy back all outstanding BB1 tokens at the same pegged 1 BB1 = 1 Euro price.  A great deal to not lose any investment value but accruing at least 4% interest per year.

I would choose between real projects - now I am personally interested in NEO, HUOBI TOKEN and BINANCE. And if we talk about projects that have fallen heavily in price and could have brought more profit, I would especially single out ICON (ICX)!

I just did a background check on ICON and i discovered that it is still very much around its base. Therefore, there is so much opportunity now, most especially for those who have the fund. There are also several other coins that have the same pattern of growth and at the same time, are promising.

And i have been having some research on altcoin and I think the best out there are ETH and BNB. ETH has been down for some times now but it is gaining slow gain as well. BNB is on the other hand a new Altcoin in the market unlike ETH and has been gaining huge value. This is because BNB is demanded a lot in the market. And some experts quote that the big fishes in Binance are behind the success of BNB.

ETH still commands the support from a very large and loyal user-base. And the second thing is that it still enjoys more than 90% monopoly as far as the smart contract platforms are concerned. The competitors such as NEO, ADA, QTUM and Stellar have lost their value against BTC continuously for the past 1-2 years and the number of tokens created using these alternative platforms are showing a decline. The only point of concern is the performance of the ICOs. Back in 2017, the ATH was attained solely due to the ICO craze.

Maybe if you have to choose an altcoin, of course I will choose the top altcoin that is not too risky. Like Litecoin or BNB. Because the top altcoin is certainly very good to have and very good for the long term, of course. So that is my choice if you really have to choose only one altcoin.

I have always chosen ethereum over many altcoins,  I also make almost every transaction with ethereum. Aside the fact that it has a very slow growth,  I still consider it as one of the best investment to make, there are also some altcoins which I do prefer also as a very good investment to make.

In my opinion, it's safer to buy altcoins that are in the top 10 because they are popular and also have large liquidity. EOS, BNB Coin or Litecoin are very worthy of being a long-term investment because the price has potential to rise higher

If i had the chance to choose between all altcoins, i prefer to choose ethereum coin. For me it is the best altcoin and best for an investment even for a long term. Ethereum coin has the potential and has great volume trading on all exchanges.

I will choose  ethereum because of it's low price and good potential. After Bitcoin , the next valuable coin is ethereum and I have earned a good profit from this coin.

I would be investing in Tokoin.io simply because in my opinion if this project takes off which i strongly believe, they will set a huge movement for MSMEs which in turn will positively affect our whole economy. There are so many struggling small businesses out there and this is the answer without a doubt. Real use case and the works, already solid partnerships and users already.

GOCHAIN:
What differentiates GoChain from the rest of crypto is that they are attempting to build real infrastructure that aids adoption from Enterprises, rather than buzzwords to pump the price. Cryptos are a currency and hopefully in time a store of value, but for this to happen there needs to be a large infrastructure behind it to give it value (or a perception of value). GoChain is a proof of reputation coin and any PoR coin first needs trusted nodes and Dish Network ($14 billion revenue) is great progress towards that goal.
As with all money it needs to be stable, and hence the team introducing GoChain stablecoin protocol (GOST delivered Q2 2019) and payment processing services (Q4 2019). Next, they require security therefore they have a plethora of wallets such as Ledger, Trezor, TurboWallet, Blockfolio etc…, iris-scanning technology via IriSafe (Identity Management Solutions), upgradeable smart contracts, collaboration with Chainlink to bring oracles to the GoChain blockchain and a pending Governance model.
GoChain also offers Enterprise Services (consulting, training and support), which has led to GoChain working with the Microsoft Services team to develop an initial Proof of Concept that utilizes all of the core parts of decentralized identities and verifiable credentials. They have been chosen by Red Cat (Drone Company) and Pukkamex (Derivative Trading Platform) recently, are partnered with ECOMI and I could go on and on, but really a great deal has been achieved by GoChain in the past year since mainnet - May 2018.
If any crypto wants to be a unit of exchange it first needs to put the infrastructure in place (high TPS is great, but it is nothing without sufficient infrastructure) and I see no other crypto project working harder than the GoChain team towards that goal. FYI, GoChain can process 1,300 transactions per second, but there are plans to increase this to 13,000 later this year. The team have just announced GOST (stablecoin), which is vital if they want to be seen as a viable currency/money for businesses/risk adverse consumers to use. GoChain is also 100% Ethereum compatible, however 10x extra decentralised, 100x faster and 100x greener, but at this point GoChain is its own beast.
They really are a sleeping giant.

These are new coins in the market I prefer the choice that I will choose more stable and its platform is already part of the community, I can't think of any coin that has this but only Ethereum, and my reason is pretty obvious.

If I were to chose only one, ETHereum is the only one I trust. I have proven it many times and I can say that it is really worth investing. It's platform and goal of eth is something that I envy much. With so many times that I trade it, I have benefited from it already. It support erc20 token contracts. However I am still open for some altcoins like BNB and others.

My choice of altcoin has always been ethereum. Ethereum is one of the most undervalued  coin which still have a lot of potentials to grow in the future. There are lot of talks about the Facebook Libra coin I.e maybe its a good altcoin to invest but my opinion on it is that it won't bring so much profit because of its economic which is all about stablecoin.

I also waiting for launching ETH 2.0 and buying some alts as well
If you have invested your money in ETH then it is good to stick with it only because we know crypto currency need to chose good but only one coin you know the most,  I like to invest my money in  bitcoin which is the most promising altcoins, it will make profit and it will rise in price after few months, we are in modern age where payments are also possible to be done with bitcoin so my choice is bitcoin for sure.

maybe you should know in advance if the altcoin is something else for crypto other than bitcoin. with your forum rank you shouldn't say that. if you want to invest in bitcoin you have to prepare capital and of course your mental readiness when bitcoin will move quickly. don't panic easily.

You have to be consistent with the choices that have become part of your investment and prove to be profitable, I chose Altcoin which in my opinion is profitable and proven and that it is real and I experience it.
and my choice of Altcoin is Ethereum which in my opinion is quite promising and I made a long-term investment and made a purchase a year ago and now see for yourself the price of Etherum compared to last year.
Ethereum is the most expensive coin among other Altcoin and that is the reason I chose it to get the maximum profit.

LAW has passed the stage of conversations, as far as I know

actually I have two choices, the first is ethereum and the second one is LTC. both of my favorite alt coins, their market is always reliable. but if have to choose wich the best, I will choose ETH, never been disappointed by ETH and have always  reliable.
I would also choose ETH, because this coin is very promising, it is superior to a lot of coins, and I would not choose LTC, because the technology of this coin is outdated

Everyone here is for ETH which is quite obvious but still boring

And i have been having some research on altcoin and I think the best out there are ETH and BNB. ETH has been down for some times now but it is gaining slow gain as well. BNB is on the other hand a new Altcoin in the market unlike ETH and has been gaining huge value. This is because BNB is demanded a lot in the market. And some experts quote that the big fishes in Binance are behind the success of BNB.

And what do you think about mentioned LAW? Have you heard about it?

Maybe if you have to choose an altcoin, of course I will choose the top altcoin that is not too risky. Like Litecoin or BNB. Because the top altcoin is certainly very good to have and very good for the long term, of course. So that is my choice if you really have to choose only one altcoin.

But how about other alts?

What technology makes GRAM great? Product release TON has not yet been. We must look at the acceptability in everyday life, and then draw conclusions.
first of all, we all just need to wait for this project to start working. only then can we understand its value
I think the same way, but my question was addressed to a topic starter. In his first post, he was confident in the excellent GRAM technology.

Agree with you!  ;D

I think I will choose BTC. Since people are new to the cryptocurrency market, the coins they buy first are BTC. BTC is like the eldest brother in the cryptocurrency world. It drives the price of other altcoins going up or down. And now many sharks hold btc. So they will find strategies to improve BTC value even higher

What is asked by OP is altcoin. Bitcoin is the main currency in the cryptocurrency market. If asked to choose only one altcoin, then I will speculate on BNB Coin because the price and future potential look profitable

And what have you heard about LAW?

That is nice. And I think it is something very subjective and depends on your plan of investment. I think that the best Altcoin out there is still ETH. The gain in the value of ETH is slow I agree but I definitely understand the market cycle as well and I think ETH will revive back to the ATH value it had reach back in the 2017 boom. It could cross $1000 again.
