I wanna create my own business and one of my colleague told me I can create my own crypto and make it tradable (it can help for fundraising).
Do you know if it's possible ? How Can I do it ? Anyone has a useful tutoriel for this ?

Everyone can make a project or crypto, but do you have clear and tangible goals? The most difficult thing is to market products, team cohesiveness and of course fundraising requires very real trust from investor. What area do you want to focus on, I want to suggest for the energy field. In order to be very useful for the future.

Your friend that advised you on this should have been the best to fully sit you down and explain how the whole processes works, because you cannot expect someone here to write a whole full book on how you can create your own cryptocurrency and how you can manage it, but the only summary I can give you is that you must first a great concept that you can turn to working product, and ensure that whatever idea you have will be needed and is not saturated already.

After that, document it in a whitepaper, higher a developer that will develop the blockchain for you, and then if you have money to fund it yourself, go apply to exchanges that will help you list it for it to become tradable, and then you still have to create lots of awareness for people to be able to know your coin and for you to get the volume needed for the coin.

You can create your own crypto but can i ask you about what's your experience in the crypto? There was a lot of tutorial in the internet about how to create your own asset or tokenization but the problem is the investors will not instantly follow your platform if you don't have a good skill in the crypto.

I would say there are plenty of cryptocurrencies out there that don't really have a genuine use case. Plenty of more or less established companies are trying to jump into crypto, but many of them don't have a real use case or any real need to use crypto at all.

The reason to create a cryptocurrency is because it is the best solution to an existing problem. I would say don't just use crypto if you're doing it for no other reason than crypto is popular. It's unlikely your coin will be successful if it doesn't serve a need.

Just head to the services section on Bitcointalk and you would see people willing to create token for you, organise bounty and airdrop campaigns for you, moderate your project group and such, all for a fee ofcourse.

I think your "colleague" is talking about ICOs. This ICO is a form of fundraising system to develop your project/coin. I would suggest you not to create your own crypto currency. First of all, there are shit tons of crypto currencies out there and most of them just failed badly. The main reason is that most of those coins  are just clone of other well known crypto currencies and the developers are too lazy to work on it.
Just invest on bitcoin and other crypto currencies and hold on it until you reach your specific goal.

Not true and a complete shitpost. @OP you don't need to have special learning to create a shit token out of thin air and scam others. You need to learn the basics of solidity and ethereum and how the ethereum blockchain works. Either you don't need to be a developer to create ERC20 tokens. All you need is to understand solidity and how to edit the code to rename your coin.

If you are talking about fund-rising through a ICO, then you need to code your coin based on the specifications and create a demand for your coin in the market by continuously working on it. Most of the 2017 ICOs have scammed and ran away with investors money.

Base on what you wrote, I am presuming you mean that the altcoin (ICO) you want to create will have to do with fundraising.

If this is the case, try bringing in unique ideas and concept into it to make it outstanding and not end up like many dumped projects in Coinmarketcap.

Trading it shouldn't be your major concern now, your project idea shouldn't be a repetition of what we have now. This is one of the ways your project can sell itself.

Anyone with tge right skills can create a cryptocurrency and design its smart contract. However, in a case where it is for a personal business, i think you will be at a very big disadvantage because of you do that you will need your tokens or coins to be in demand in order  for it to be profitable. So it is not economical for you in any way. It is best that you use the existing cryptocurrencies with a very good market value for your business.

I think, everyone can make their own cryptocurrency as long as they can make a good business and product. With ethereum or other platforms, we can make tokens in the form utility token or security tokens. Security tokens are more complicated because regulations from regulators are needed and utility token need a platform to run them.

plan is not enough, it requires concepts and products that are truly real answers to market needs. then that will make demand increase. however the point is how to make market demand increase on their coins on the market.

Not to discourage you but its going to be an uphill battle if you don't have the skills and the community that will support your project. I think this idea is not feasible. First it is not simple to di and to invest then go to the trading of your own crytpo. And it takes time to learn and have too much research to built your own crypto and trading. I think creating your own crypto project is possible but a lot must be done.

IEO or you mean ICO, because IEO is still a very new system, and it has been so effective, the main purpose of these IEO is to do research on some of the projects that approaches them first, and then ensure such project has real  use case, real team and the ability to deliver, and I think they have not really failed from their own end, except some of these small exchanges that is trying to practice what they cannot afford to manage.

But when we talk of ieo,I talk of IEO from exchanges like Binance, huobi and co, so for op project to succeed, actually getting an investor would not be a problem, he just need to ensure that his project has a use case, and the team are transparent enough to make themselves known physically to investors and opened to questions and answers.

Everyone can create their own crypto but not all has their fund and equipment to do it. Its not like an ordinary business where there were after finishing those bunch of documents then you can start. In here you need much fund and good quality equipments to start. Dont worry because if you are comitted to make it successful then it will come true.

yeah its possible actually all of the people here in crypto world can create their own crypto, but you need alot of knowledge about crypto to success, you need a team with alot of experience in crypto, i think your not ready, you need to grow first and be patience.

You need to be able to have someone who  can do IT works because it will cost you a lot of troubles if you try to do it alone. You better create a sound specific detailed Plan first in able to do it. Crypto is a good help for those who know how to maximize its use.

If you only create an electronic currency, on the erc20 platform it is very easy. But it is very difficult to make a private exchange. Many projects raised funds but failed. You need to have your product convince investors. A programming team has strong security and ensures ongoing support for investors, and ultimately you need partners to gain credibility from investors.

First, maybe you could start a conversation with others to better clarify your ideas for the why and how and what of your token. Then, you might also bring on others with more experience to help. yes you can, but don't try launching an ICO if you don't have a platform to offer to the community, it will just fall to generate funds and launching an IEO is very costly, Youtube offers a lot of tutorials to create your own token if you want to learn how.

That's right. Making a new coin is easy. Many teams forked or even copied the code for some existing coins to launch their own but did not profit because they had nobody to promote their product. Now you need a lot of money to advertise and I mean a LOT.

How do you want to create a cryptocurrency when you are so lazy to study the whole process? It is so easy that it could be done by everyone, just google it and that is the problem.
The most easiest way is creating another useless ERC-20 token and list it on Etherdelta, but the value would be 0, of course  :D.

It seems like you do not have enough money for paying a listing fee on centralized exchange. The only way how to create a tradeble cryptocurrency for free is create ERC-20 token and list it on ForkDelta, but the chance that someone will buy it is very low.

What makes sense to display tokens in an area that nobody can see in ForkDelta? I think it makes more sense to make an IEO. It is a bit costly, but a smoother result is achieved.

Having a team to develop a project will be difficult, a team should be responsible and expected to do their job in a proper way. it is not that easy to create a project to attract investors. If you want to create ERC-20 tokens it's really easy to make, even there is a generator for making this kind of token out there (you can google "ERC20 token generator")

Guys, why raise issues that are real bullshit.  In order to create a coin and successfully trade it, you must first create an interesting project so that it is really interesting for society and can really be used in human life.  There are already quite a lot of cryptocurrency junk cryptocurrencies on the cryptocurrency market that only worsen the development of the cryptocurrency market.  You do not need to create a coin just for the sake of earning from its trade, because nobody needs it.
