Some people think there are trusted ICO rating websites, if you believe there are ICO rating websites we can trust please share it with us.

I don't tink there are trusted ICO rating websites as they can change the rating depends on how much you pay for them, and it`s not fair.

I don't trust any ICO rating sites that offer premium listing, ICO rating should be free and impartial and they should not offer paid to list these ICO will only pay the premium listing to get a good rating even though it is a dubious project, making these ICO rating sites a money game,

Do not trust the ratings of any ICO review sites. Just use them only to monitor ongoing and upcoming ICOs. In the past, they started with good intention but most, if not all, of these sites are getting paid now.

Most of the web sites now which just want to make money on ieo's and ico's i belive icobench is one of few I check sometimes but can't say I trust any site with 100% trust so don't know what to say but as i said most of the sites just make money like telegram groups and others.

yes sometimes ICO ratings do not determine trust.  if we investors we have to know how the Project is running sometimes the success of ICO does not guarantee the Project will be successful.  so what we have to understand is how the Project works.  not to mention that many ICOs are now unclear.  I suggest that you prefer the IEO to the ICO's.

usually if I see a rating for ico, I see it like icobench, icodrops, icoholders. And what I recommend the most is icodrops because the average project in icodrops is sure to be successful.

I don't know if there is still ICO rating website that can be trust, in my opinion they get payment for listing coin/token to their recomended list. i've been experience 2 times joined ICO from ICO rating website and ended with bad thing. 2 of them failed when hit market exchange

Yes, only free ICO rating sites we may trust, but i think all of the ICO rating websites offers premium listing.

I will not recommend such websites as 'trusted' or a scale to decide where to invest but yes they can be taken as a reference and a way to get more information about a project so basically they can help with the due diligence process, i personally do get some help from icobench and icodrops etc.

I use icodrops and I'm against many ICO rating websites like ICObench among others because of Info's surrounding them ,I don't trust icodrops that much but better than others for me ,if I were you I won't depend entirely on them ,trust your instincts

We can´t trust any ICO rating site. Same like exchange listing, listing on such sites cost ICOs a lot of money.
And more you pay, better rating you get.

In my own opinion most of the ICO rating website is not reliable Since those so called experts are only after for the money so they are corruptible that means that ICO rating website are useless and unreliable.Some of the previous scam projects was given a high review rating. Thats why stop relying on ICO Website they are useless.

ICO website rating are not really a measurement if the project will do good in their crowd sale, as even higher rated projects could flop as it is dictated by the investors and interest of the masses. I would highly suggest that you do your own review of the project though it will only lessen the risk that you would take in investing.

in fact, it is public secret that ICOBENCH's rating cannot be fully trusted. As far as I know you can pay ICOBENCH to raise the rating of your Project (or a certain project), besides that you can contact ICOBENCH "Members" who have been verified to at least give a good assessment of your project.

People (including me) prefer ICODROP because as far as I know they don't charge any rates in giving ratings. (At least that is stated on their page).


Even so, I personally DO NOT BELIEVE 100% rating from anywhere .. it's just one benchmark (not standard) for me in assessing the project

In fact, until recently, I trusted some ICO rating websites. But I don't believe it anymore. I think they can all be manipulated for a good amount of money.

I used to think that some of the top ICO rating websites were trustworthy. After all, many have an automatic evaluation, and that cannot be faked, right?
Well after working for an ICO project for 3 months, I think otherwise. Most of the websites are rubbish. They are happy for new projects to be added and happy to give good rates in exchange for potential traffic/their logo on ICO's website. Another problem is that automatic reviews don't mean much. It's pretty easy to fulfill the requirements by adding lots of info about the project and get a good rate with a simple and potentially dangerous for investors project. And expert rates, just like views, comments, articles and many other things can be bought. ICOs are very risky, even if the team is not intending to scam anyone, there's no guarantee the project will be successful. And there's no website that can help with that.

Don't look for the other website who have ratings on ICO because mayne it is not right or accurate. You can rate all the ICO you want because you have own decision and thinking about what ICO will going to success. But now don't think about ICO think about IEO who is more better than the ICO right now. But if you have website you trust just do check it.

Ico rating websites are managed by people who often take money from projects in exchange for good ratings on their website. This means that the ratings are biased and cannot be fully trusted.

I don't believe in the ico rating on the website because not all of them are correct and provide a lot of inaccurate data, even some people give feedback.

In my opinion, ico rating is not sufficient for investing on ico. There are many ico rating website where many people are giving positive ratings for some money. You should choose and analysis best one.

No, not really (you have to consider it from the operators perspective).

Scenario 1, they get paid to list the ICOs and rate them.

Scenario 2, they get paid for ads on the page and do not care to do proper due diligence on the ICOs they list, just to get user hits and the more the merrier.

Scenario 3, they charge for investment advice (if they were so good at investing, they would not need to sell advice).

Scenario 4, they are a straight shill operation just praying you are dumb enough to buy into any of their ICOs so they can steal your bitcoin or other liquid crypto like Litecoin or Ethereum.

Scenario 5, close to scenario 4, they are buying into low liquidity ICOs early hoping to sell you their shitokens at a higher price.


I would say you have to think like a venture capitalist when considering ICOs and even then it's a long shot, invest in the people not in the vision but also make sure the vision makes practical sense.  Likely the only ICOs to hold any weight for long are going to be product centric from here out (think of products like BNB Binance Coin).

As far as pure value pyramid goes, it hardly makes sense to invest in any other Bitcoin and give it 10 years for 'huge' returns.  I say 'huge' because even 100% over 10 years is huge by traditional standards, it is not likely to beat 6% over a decade per year in the Stock Market or Real Estate, certainly not in precious metals, certainly not in bonds.

I know there is crypto rating which is where you could find some reviews about ICO and tokens, but i really don't recommend you to take anyone's review and just decide yourself whether the project is worth investing in or not, because these all could be manipulated and  they could be just a scam,  so read the white paper and look up the development team and read about the project in forums and see if people think of it before investing.

Initially when I was a newbie in the crypto space, I relied so much on their so called expert advice whenever I wanted to invest, but I have been dealt with severely and I experienced my greatest lost when I invested in doctailor by following their ridiculous ratings. It was after my sad episode that I came to the realization that most, if not all ratings are paid for by these project organizers.

For now I, I will say go up on icobench, look around but do your own indepth analysis and due diligence.

But icobench is reported as a worst ICO rating websites ( i read this in one post here), they listed a scam projects, that projects passed KYC and with high rating. do you agree with this?

Almost all so called "ICO advisors" get paid in tokens or some other kind of lucrative deal (you promote me in return I'll promote your coin, etc.)

so you have to do your own independent due diligence instead of relying on any rating agency...

I usually don't consider ICO rating websites analysis when making my decision whether or not to get into a project and that is because most of these ICOs rating websites opinion are biased and driven by money, so they rate any project that can pay well high and rate those that didn't pay low or average. But the only ico website that I think still has integrity is Icodrops. 

Of course there are good cryptocurrency review sites. I mostly use icodrops.com and icobench.com although the first is more sophisticated and they are good places to start. But if you want a more elaborate review, then you can join some quality Telegram groups I know. @Cryptodiffer and wolfcrypto (@WolfCryptoAnnounce) .Even some Top project CEOs do host AMAs there

yes, it never existed, if it existed and was trusted, I am not sure that ICO will attract investors. especially after many successful IEOs.
most ICO rating sites have collaborated with projects that will be launched on the site, and it is very easy to get high retention. so we can't believe that.

Never trust any ICO rating website, they only guide you to research more.  Well the likes of ICODROPS and ICOBENCH have been cool over time, but it doesn't mean they don't do paid ratings, you should do proper personal research before making decision on buying in any ICO, IEO, STO or any form of token sale to avoid regrets.

How an idiot person, investing because of third parties platform/shilling influencer. You should know the reason why you put your money on the project, ICO Website review not gonna help you for your investment, use your own due diligence and speculate by yourself after that decide if you think the project has a potentially successful project invest on it if not then avoid it.

An investor like this, just like a fish waiting to bait with their promise from the project or other things, I don't know why everyone cant makes their own due diligence if you can't do it that better avoid invest to an ICO project.

Most of ICO Review Score are getting paid to give a good score, some of them participate at the bounty program too.

I would say that ICO rating sites are like website betting tips. They are predicting the future based on informations they have. But they do not know, if team really wants to continue after token sale or they only grab money and leave.

There are couple of them. I always start with ICObench. Then ICOrating. And always I try to look into many sites for the review comments and scoring. If most agree on the project content, then only I will move ahead with my view on looking further in-depth into the project.

from what I see, some rating sites ico are cheating, because their projects are mostly not suitable, even worse is scam project, but there are also rating sites that give bad ratings, but the project is actually a pretty good project to be a rating site for when this is not very trustworthy

Until recently i was very skeptical and even negative about any crypto rating sites, but few weeks ago I saw that icobench uses Bitcointalk scam accusation section for reference to ICOs which are listed on their web. This is something that gives some confidence back to icobench.

My advice to investors is to never use these rating sites, they are deceiving investors by giving false ratings and giving false hopes, they are conniving with scam projects, so they can be considered as part of the scam projects if you can find rating sites that do not offer a premium list and just do impartial reviews then you can follow that rating site.

None as far as I can tell. Most ICO rating sites are centralized and it is hard to get honest rating through such centralization except a rating website decides to be honest. I would advice you not to see them as source of credible information about new prejects

The only answer should be icodrop and cryptorank. My answer based on the history of the ended icos and majority of promising icos were listed on both of crypto ico site. But i prefer icodrop because it has a very big community that very solid to identify and to do an audit for an ico.

I don't think there is a trust worthy ICO rating website. I am saying this because most of the ICO rating website get paid to give bad projects good rating and in return lure investors to their project. A typical example of this type of ICO rating website with false rating is ICObench. I came across a project on ICObench called P2PS that claim to have collected 80% of hardcap but to my surprise, the group is filled up with bounty hunters and bounty discussion. In short, the admins are no longer in the group.

Rating is not means the ICo is legit because not all of high ratings ICO are successful. I guess those ratings is depends also to them so I rate every ICO I researched before but now all ratings of ICO now is low and that is for me because I just quit investing to ICO. I invested to ICO and I visited a few web site who can rate the every ICO but I leave because I said to my self that I need to rate to my self.

As for me , i dont trust any ICO rating platform because  most of them are deceitful and has led so many people into losing huge sum of money . I happened to be among those who trusted all these ICO rating platform . The one who is fairly ok among them is ICO BENCH. 30% of the project they rated is genuine while the rest 70% failed.

My level of trust in the ICO is 80%. In my opinion, the ICO rating can help open a project more clearly. But, don't be completely like me. If there are other ways to be your guide in making investment decisions, it's better.

DropICO and ICObench were the best ICO rating sites for comparing the advantages of any project. After the recent discover of the IEOs it is case of exchange itself,not a project. Everyone thinks about selling high after the listing on the big exchange.

all ico webs only provide project appraisal but to make the project successful not from the ico web provider it is only a given rating so if you want to find a good project choose the one that has the potential to go forward and have a lot of income

I suggest we do not have to trust 100% of the ico rating website. because many ico rating websites are not in line with expectations. it is better to do research and research yourself in order to get quality ico

There's a lot to name but why would we look at the rating when ICO is not anymore profitable to invest with?
We have to change as the market is also changing, the new trend now is the IEO so I guess if we are smart, we will not waste our time in ICO when there's a better opportunity that could make us profitable.

Actually, I trust my researches on projects than the ICO ratings. maybe they are good but there is much evidence to good ranked ICOs ended badly or turned in to the scam. So my opinion is, do your own research than the trust ICO rating sites.

As far as I know, every ICO rating site is paid service and no paid service can be collusion free. Therefore, it will be wise not to believe them. Better you do your part of analysis by evaluating everything. If you want to check teams legality, follow ICOethics.com

I do not trust any ICO ratings, and I see no reason to trust such sites, because now it is very easy to buy a positive review. And if the project budget allows, they can even buy the first place.

The problem is that many want to invest but don't have experience to do research.

I no longer use ICO rating websites again as basis for choosing the projects I participate in, because so many of them are after the money they will be paid for listing on their sites, instead of on the integrity, solidity and authenticity of the project in question. Therefore, they are most times their ratings are questionable and trusting them might be dangerous.

I don't trust ICO rating sites anymore after the Resto Token rating, it has a premium listing a very high rating and until now they are not taking down that high rating but Resto token is not active anymore and run away with people's money, I prefer looking on the project's potential instead of going on ICO ratings.

don't be easy to believe that way, be careful because now many hackers go through the web or links that aren't clear. with you not knowing by opening links carelessly, your wallet will be threatened and you will lose the assets you have.

for rating sites I don't think it can be trusted because it is obviously very easy to manipulate it, I trust the analysis site ico more like concuerseq because there are many members there who are experts in analyzing ico and more reliable than the rating site

Do not trust any ICO rating site, they should only give you a clue on some aspects of the project which might interest you, this is because most are paid ratings.  Personally, I use ICODROPS and ICOBENCH since to me they are better off with all round ratings, so check them out.

I've yet to come across one that was objective and accurate.
The vast majority of them are pay for review type models.
That's where the ico pays to get reviewed by the website and the review is usually very favorable.
Other ones have reviewers that are just straight up incompetent and don't have any investing sense.
And then there are the ones that just copy and past info and call it a review.

It's best to just stick to your own research and apply goo investment strategies.
You will learn a lot more by simply reaching out to the ico and talking with the devs.
You can also make you own better conclusions by trying out their product or platform

it is very difficult if you only trust the ICO site that gives a rating on a project, it could be that the analysis carried out by the site is not right, therefore you must understand the project you want to invest, rating is only an assessment of a site and you have to be more thorough about the project you want to invest, because you cannot give trust only from an ICO rating site

A number of people have said surprisingly. I use ICO review sites and benchmark sites just as research to find out more about the team and the ideas behind it. I don't bother looking at the score but it is a good
a place to go to if you need information.


That is why I only use it as research and never advice. People may have paid for their good rating. You can also read why they got that rating unless it's a made up reason.

2017 is really a good year and also before it and many groups and website are starting to gather more audience and they will review and study the ICO and its project and give a real and honest rating. Now they are successful!

I don't trust any ICO rating sites, instead, I follow some people on Twitter to find some gem. Most of the time people try to shill their shitcoins. In ICO rating sites, they take the money and provide a paid review with positive sentences. That's a pretty bad situation for investors who relies on ICO listing sites.

Before i used to depend on ICOBench but i stop relying on ICO rating site as they are paid to advertise the projects. Like ICOBench some of the members are advisors in some projects and unfortunately some projects didn't do well in their ICO's. And some projects turned out to be a scam. I'm only doing my own research on which projects I promote and invest in.

Simply because the ICO rating sites are making money based on listed ICOs. And a lot of sites do it for money but ignore their credibility, making many people lose and hate the ICO rating sites.

Most of the ico or ieo rating bsites are nothing but a joke. They just promote ICO that's it. If you trust this site you will be in great loss. Some of the reviews are great but most of them are fake or paid review. There are fvery few I found are ok type or good. One of them is icorating. It is one of the trusted but sometimes it's also have some promotional stuff. If you are not new and know how to check ICO it's fine for you. And the most trusted is ICO analytics. They have a website but I strongly recommend to follow them of twitter cause they are mostly active on twitter. That's it.

Icobench is dead set on not getting paid by the ICO's so they give them higher ranking. They are literally one of the few places that would decline free money to just say "hey this is a good coin", even john mcaffee who is a billionaire probably has been accepting free money in form of crypto currency just to promote some places, that is why icobench is doing something very honorable and they are liked because of it.

I have been using them for over a year now and whenever they promoted a coin as good, they actually always found something with utility and a reason to use instead of just a regular coin with nowhere to use it for as well. They really take a look into the whitepaper to the team to the community and make it with plenty of experts so they end up with actually good track record as well.

ICO rating is just show! nothing more bulk in cases! many of project showing their site rating for just attention over public and investors! and many of good rating ico project also going for unsuccessful!

Usually I follow the development of the ICO by reading personal or independent reviews. For example: Ico Dog. I like to read reviews from the icodog website, competent to discuss a project.

Yes you’re not meant to trust anyone when it comes to investment, because you’re risking your hard earned money, but there are still some good ICO rating sites that are going to help your review and I believe that they are worth checking out. The one I mainly see people mention here is ICO-bench, so it seems like it is more popular in this forum. ICO bench is a good ICO review site and you should check it out. Then another review site I like to make use of is ICO Champs – icochamps.com and they really do a good work in their review. You should also check out ICO Alert and ICO Drop.

to be honest, you really cant tell which ico rating is correct because, some ico projects in the past even with the high rating still failed at delivering the promised projects. so you to be have selective when it comes to website rating of ico projects. Not all this ratings are true.

I use ICO rating websites to just stay updated about upcoming ICO/IEO projects and I used that opportunity to find out if the upcoming project will be hosting any bounty but I don't rely on ratings because they might not be true,i do my own research on any projects

I'm aware that there are still trusted ICO rating but I don't like the big names in these ICO rating businesses, they are selling their reviews and rating if you buy their premium listing, and we all thought they can help us fight scam but they are the one promoting scam projects.

It's all about benefits, they build their reputations and after that they will begin to accept fees for good reviews and to invite and attract investors to support projects that being catered from their sites, there's no assurance whether they are helping scammers or real developers to find more investors
but it's still best to do your own kind of research much safer than anything else.

My advice is that everyone should do their own research before participating in a project. Because sometimes the ratings on those websites can be misleading.

I think the acronym "DYOR" was formed for a reason, I prefer doing my own research but I also like check ICO rating sites to check more about the project, the rating site that always seem to have complete information for me is ICODROPS and this is my favourite.

This is a very good question. Cause in this ecosystem there is lots of ICO rating website available. But most of them are biased. That's the problem. And for this thing a lots of people got scammed. The biggest ICO rating sited are nothing but a big scam. So be careful. Yes I saw 1-2 good website but they are also not 100% scam free but better than others. One of them is icoratings and other one is ICO analytics. These two are good but still I would say do your own research before any kind of investment.

I personally rarely use ICO rating on websites when I want to participate in a new project. Because not all websites guarantee the validity of each project's rating. It would be better if we analyze ourselves whether the latest ICO is really convincing, reliable, and also promising. But if it is only one consideration, maybe you can check it in some ICO ratings like ICOdrop, coinschedule, and others.

What do you mean by word "trust"? Take their opinion into account? Then, definitely, yes - many of them. Icobench for example.
If you mean their "fair" evaluation and rating without being paid by project teams - that's obviously ridiculous.

I know of ICObench, they are known for rating projects, but do you know that sometimes, those projects pays for them to be reviewed and rated, so you really cannot trust any website to completely give accurate info as regards the project. That rating site was created to make money, and you should know that they will have a particular source of income, and here, I think it is when they are being paid for rating that they make their money.

There is still nothing like making one’s own research, and even if an investor has to use rating site, it should not be the base to completely rely on making choices of project to invest in, but these ratings sites should be source of information for further research to know which of them really has working product or not.

All the ICO rating sites are biased. They do good review for big payment. I would never trust any ICO rating sites. It's better to do your own analysis before investing any ICO, don't trust the rating sites blindly.

Personally I don't trust any ICO listing website. Most of them are just listing for money. They are not bothering to do even minimum investigation. I have noticed few listing websites are doing fake KYC verification. Is it not a cheating with their visitors?

If you are a investors do your own diligence before invest on any ICO. Search as much as possible and do not trust with your fund any ICO listing website.

That's true and not just changing the ratings, their ratings can not be 100% legit. I don't think the word "trusted should be used for any ICO website. I just see them as a guide to knowing available and fair ICOs.

No, there is no trusted ICO rating website. Don't rely on ICO rating websites for investment. Personally, I like the Icodrops website, because their information is good and updated. You can get ICO details from the ICO rating websites but you have to research well before investing.

There are fair ICO rating sites but don't trust any. Trusting an ICO rating site will mean you rely entirely on information provided there. Most of them are paid reviews or ratings so the more reason why it's important to do personal due diligence before investing. Some rating sites I can recommend are Icodrops and Icobench.

Seriously speaking,I do not have any ico rating website in mind that I consider trustworthy, they are of less importance personally off late. I do not trust any because there is no fair in what they publish, some projects pays to be ranked higher. We have seen several projects with a rating scale of 4.8 but still ended up as scam. do your research well and never trust any ico rating website.

You are right. the rating given can be bought with money, so the assessment is not appropriate based on the quality of the project. I've also been trapped in a scam even though the project has an almost perfect ranking in some website ratings. I don't know, what a fraudster is too smart or his judgment is too naive.

Yeah, I usually used them only to find some project that I didn't know of before. They tend to be listed there despite the biased rating and scoring that kinda helps a little. Also, regardless the rating, still, if a project is not listed there that'd be even more shady so even just exist there will adds some kind of legitimacy in the eyes of people.

Of late, it is very hard to trust these ICO or IEO rating sites because it appears most of them are just in to make money without much concern about the authenticity and capabilities of the project. The ICO or IEO rating sites are now paid by the projects in order to get listed.

I can count the reliable ico rating site with my hand and almost all of them are scam sites that getting paid to be listed by the scam icos. the reliable site has been driven by the community.
icodrop is the only one that can be considered as a reliable site and no more for another site.

I don't really depend on the team's seriousness in running the project, because we can see on their website and see the identity of the team, a roadmap that makes sense to us, we also need to do some other research such as who is a trusted bounty manager, which is usually a bounty manager trusted to know which projects are good or not.

There were a few legit websites before (Icorating, Icodrops..) that were posting good ICOs, but nowadays these websites are full of worthless projects that don't deserve to waste your time on.

Yes, it is the best variant. Nevertheless, you need to know these sites to check them and to compare your point of view with the rating of the ICO given by these sites.
ICOdrops is a very good resource as for me - it has been working for long and I trust it. Foundico is also cool - it updates the rating every hour, and everything is done automatically. No ICO can buy the top place here, and it is very important.

The only website that I am using to track information about upcoming and ongoing project is icodrops, and as far as I know there is no rating system, just the level of hype that is showed there. On almost all other websites, you need to pay to be listed there, so you cannot expect a constructive review.

To be frank, I find it hard trusting any ICO rating platform whatsoever because they can easily be manipulated into giving projects goo rating. I think the best rating is the one we do ourselves where we carry out our own research thus knowing if a project is worth it or not.

Well, I don not follow ICO rating sites to choose an ICO because most of these sites are in to make profit hence ICOs can pay them to get listed on their site. I think ICO rating sites can be bought and can be manipulated in order to attract more people to invest as after the ICO campaign ended i observed that there are other projects that the team never show up anymore and abandon their projects therefore i suggest that do not trust the project based on ICO rating only.

Sometime when I check on those sites, the reason why I just go there is to pick some of the top rated coins according to them, and then go do extra research for me to determine if those projects are really worth it or not, at least, it would be unfair for me to completely condemn those project because they paid for them to be listed, it is still part of their promotions and they have to do everything possible to attract investors to them, so I don’t condemn them but investigate them the more.

Icodrops is better than other mentioned ICO rating sites and I believe to their reviews. ICOmarks and TrackICO are also my preferred rating websites. The paid ICO reviews can be a real hassle for naive investors without experience, the inexperienced investors will lose money to the wrong investment sooner or later. Truth being told, most of these ico rating websites started off with good intentions but as time went by, most of these websites got influenced by money and started receiving money for their work and depending on such ratings to make any investment decision is a great mistake unless one does a vivid research on the particular type of project.

As far as I know, the site has never posted a scam project. There are quite few sites with such a reputation, because in the crypto market many are trying to make money in any way.

There is no ICO rating website that we can trust, It is very difficult to know a good ICO project, both individual and any organization only arrived at their ratings based on team members that submit their KYC documents; only the project teams knows their plans for the project they are trying to offer.

I agree to advertise with a disclaimer and it's is not really promoting what is being advertised on their website, but recommending project through their newsletter and giving them high rating because they were paid to do that is a big no-no and not recommended, unless they can guaranty that the site they are recommending is a legit project and they will be responsible for any scamming, they cannot accept payment and put up a disclaimer that they have no responsibility fot their action.

It is a big plus to know the team members are honest people and they agree to pass the KYC for clearing the shady questions from the investor's mind.
