It is risky as Bitcoin is still at a very high price. But some altcoins are worth less than their bottom price. It is not a bad idea to buy altcoins as they might get pumped.

You are definitely right the downtime of an altcoin is definitely the best time to accumulate altcoin. You just need to be careful so that you don't fill your portfolio with halfdead coins that will soon die off later.

Can't be sure of that and setting a timeline for unpredictable market is not 100% that you will achieve it. I can not disagree. Altcoins have very good price that not occur too often. I think such kind of opportunity to grasp cheap altcoins occur around 6 months per wave. So, we have been in the second chance to get richer (in BTC) with cheap altcoins. Don't hesitate too much because we have been in good phase to accumulate altcoins. The all time high of LTC price was $375 at december 2017 ago, I'll predict when the halving has been passed the LTC price will pass $375 as an ATH and now its price is $105 on CMC.

the only time to start accumulating altcoins is when they are starting to show signs of a pump. which consists of an increase in their market activity including volume and price, and also increase in the pumpers activity all over the market. with some analysis of that altcoin and looking at its history and whether it is even ready for pump or is it  a dead cat bounce you can simply decide if it is a good time to get in that coin or not. just make sure to have a good exit plan after you entered or you will end up losing money to the dumps.

It was a mistake as altcoins have followed the movement of Bitcoin. Sometimes it doesn't work like that, but most of the time. But i think Bitcoin has maybe already reached his highest price at $14000, as dominance of Bitcoin was at its highest level. Now is a good time to buy any cryptocurrency you want, even Bitcoin, because there is still more time for Bitcoin to go up. LTC is going for a halving in like four weeks time or less and there is the possibility that the price is going to increase once the halving is done. And ETH will likely follow Bitcoin to the top. For me ideal time to buy and accumulate more altcoins is when the bitcoin is truly in dip like when it was just $3k per bitcoin. If you had bought altcoins during that time you will surely have your harvest by this time. I had bought few altcoins when the ethereum was just $96. It's good to do crypto shopping then while others just keeps on waiting for btc and eth to pump.

It's not the best that anyone should give advise on whether to invest or not and even if that happens, it is expected of you to still DYOR on it. Those who fail to do that find themselves invest in unprofitable coins and sometimes coins belonging to scammers. Don't get trap by the recent decline in price, I believe for altcoin in generally it's not yet time to buy but for some selective Altcoin I believe it's time. Altcoin like Litecoin, DGTX has a bright future ahead of them. No its not ideal unless you are hopeful. You need to loot at the charts first before you decide to buy, its not about why the token plummet to its knees that it look good to invest. I have the feeling bitcoin will still drop that it will be a disaster later on. I'm not confident about my charts view but looking at its monthly time frame of BTC, it looks like its going to dive.

Instead do  your research and invest in some exclusive altcoins, maximum of 10 because this will protect your investment and you will be able to benefit fully from exclusive projects.

in my opinion no because at this time bitcoin is down this makes the altcoin price go down so we have to wait until the bitcoin price movement is stable to buy altcoin

Ideal time is when the price is low and the market is flooded with opportunities and obviously now is not the time, in this market i make only short time investments (XMR,ETH).

I think so, if you have enough fund then you could accumulate more alt at this time. Who know perhaps we will not see that prices anymore. Its crypto everything could happen. Most of alts are on huge dump and expecting very soon will recover their regular prices. But we should invest what we can afford loss. There also change of loss.

yes, you can buy altcoins partially by 25% of your total balances, when its get down 10% that you can buyback. Don't buy one coin by single shoot, its dangerous, because you  don't have money to buy in cheaper prices. Remember just buy top 50 altcoins only, don't use your money for shit token.

That's so true, i just went all in some good altcoins that i have been monitoring for a while so when i saw this market crash i quickly placed by order to purchase at very cheap prices. Most of my orders have been filled and i would be holding these altcoins till i see a times five increase.

maybe this is a good time to buy altcoin. But go for the existing ones. Do not invest in newborn tokens. these days most of the times tokens just pumping. not actually increase there prices. so be aware when dealing with altcoins these days.

Hard decision, Bitcoin is dropping so fast, hope that will not go back to 6k level, I can't even imagine what would it do with altcoins.
