Hey everyone, by no means am I new to bitcointalk -- I created a new account specifically for my Sports Betting! This way I can focus mainly on that! I have been watching and playing sports my entire life and have started betting on them seriously 3 years ago (starting with the NFL).  I have since, broadened my knowledge and betting to other sports such as MLB, Tennis, NBA, some soccer and whatever else looks juicy ;) In addition I have added on a Computer Science degree with a minor in Statistics which I have used to build mathematical models to try and increase my odds with higher probability games. As with all things, gambling is gambling, you win some, you probably lose more... I'm hoping to help break that streak for you.

As a new tipster on this site, and as I build a community in general - I will give out free plays. I'm hoping to grab interest in premium picks and make money with you all! Hopefully no one has to ask, but yes I do bet on my own picks  ::) Let's beat the books hard together. I will also gladly suggest bankroll management tips if you need them, I know a lot of gamblers/bettors that aren't happy because they always go broke. If you follow good BRM you should "never" go broke!

Please note, I'm not preaching you're going to win any % of the games I recommend. I believe that's phony and unrealistic especially since we're all gambling at the end of the day. You could join in on a hot or cold streak, we just need to place the money and let the players do what they gotta do - bask in the results regardless of outcome.

You are not ready to take this step yet, you need more experience.
First you have to learn the importance, of a what a small difference in odds make.
Your picks may well be good picks, but the odds you suggest are not.
Take for instance the -275 you suggest, first place I check is -250, this alone will stop you being successful on a long run of bets.

Thanks for your extremely interesting critique. I'm not sure how I'm "inexperienced" (or need more experience, to use your words) due to bookies having different odds and/or the lines changing. Use more than one site, use my site(s), place your bet similar timing to me (you could have probably gotten anything like -270 -> -275 for instance. The other cool thing is, you don't have to tag along if you don't like the bets. I'm just suggesting what I think is a favorable bet that we're going to win money more often than we lose money, if you're not interested in my plays, don't like a specific play, don't like your odds -- DON'T BET. Thanks.

I think one other thing you fail to notice or take notice of is that sports betting isn't free money anyways. You probably follow those "I guarantee we will win 82.3% of games" people who bet on your exact mentioned -275 lines ("free wins"). The best sports bettors in the world only win ~55% of games and they bet on underdogs. Anyways, I'm inexperienced so I'll leave my education elsewhere.

Good thing it had been proved out yet I do agree on the thing you had mentioned earlier that there are tipsters which

doesn't even make bets into their own predictions.This is why having these betslips as proofs is much considerable.
For op,instead on focusing too much on discord why wont make this thread as your primary focus on giving updates?

You might get some sufficient bettors or those who tails if they do saw some good win percentage.

Thanks for the advice/comments from both of you. I do completely agree showing that I'm betting what I'm actually saying could be detrimental to acquiring followers, as opposed to just being all talk. I will definitely throw down some bet slips from time to time! The sites I use are BetOnline (or Sportsbetting.ag -- twin sites) and Nitrogen. I play poker on BOL so a lot of my funds are already on there and readily accessible.

I don't think I'll be "focusing too much" on my discord group, I just find it's easier to manage there, in addition we can all sweat games together and have a good time. Forums aren't typically the best place for one-line chatter... IE: "These bastards better score!!" So Discord (or Telegram, which I haven't really used ever) provides a better means of communication. As mentioned, I will still post my picks here, that's a non-issue. However, you (the forum user) might miss a Live Play that I throw up (during the middle of a game) because the forum isn't notifying you -- or whatever it may be.

Hi, as I start my public tipping now all will be tracked on this thread or in my discord (where I will post 100% of games). I can also try to keep a relatively running tally on the OP for how I'm doing. Makes no sense for me to grab prior bets from the last XXX years for a few reasons:

• I could obviously pick and choose what games to place on the tracker (more wins than losses...)
• I've made several bets for other people -- not particularly my picks/advice
• I have also tried challenges ($100 -> $1000, etc.)
• Other reasons I can continue to list off...

So I'm not trying to be in-authentic and say "look at me I've made 1000BTC and have a 93.64% WR over the last X d/mo/yr" and I'm starting relatively "fresh" as the service is.

As I said, I'll gladly start up a running total, as well as you can just follow along the thread -- or join the discord where I will post 100% of my picks in (Discord gets it first). In the next few days I may look into a bot that keeps track of the last X days for me for example, that would be cool.

As you can see above, I smashed soccer today with 3 - 0 in my last 3 live picks all within the last few hours. MLB is starting to look closer to a 50% kind of day with all the Overs missing.

that's the point of the tracker , you can't add whatever games you want
you have to add the games and then lock them , after that you won't be able to delete the pick , change the selection or change the odds
all the tipsters I know use a tracker and it's useful to know how the tipster is doing overall

at this stage yeah looking at the thread can give fair idea , but in the future when you have like over 500 picks placed there is no good way to know how you did in the past with your picks without tracking the results

Well I had a pretty good day yesterday! We started off 3 for 3 on the first MLB calls and it seemed to fall apart later into the evening w/ the pool of picks (hopefully you snagged the winners if you took any). That's what I notice the most tipster that giving their tips or prediction here in this forum. They just give out their picks without experience from using their own money to bet and have giving free tips on which one you would pick unlike other tipster that they bet using their own money and gather information about the team in a particular sports that the tipster pick their bets and I hope that this one would be different.

What is the best "tracker" that has US -- I've found a few (ie: Tipstrr) but they didn't even have all sports. Like it couldn't even find the MLS game yesterday. So obviously if the tracker doesn't have all sports I'm now having to split between trackers. It's kind of just ridiculous at that point. Updating 8 threads, Discord, 3 trackers... Yadda Yadda.. Obviously I see the value for you guys, so if I find a decent one (I'm not really going to spend time looking honestly) I'll use it, I'll continue to post on the thread regardless.


Hi, obviously there's a concern I'm not putting down any money, or have no knowledge.
Two things, the first being that the picks are free. So if you don't like the pick, don't like my picks, don't like the teams, don't like the sport, or whatever you can come up with -- don't bet. I'm not telling you that you have to bet your money, or that you SHOULD bet your money. These are simply my suggestions on what I think will be winners for today, and you can put some skin in the game, or sweat along w/out any. It obviously doesn't matter to me anyways.
The second thing is that if you look through a few of the picks, I've posted my slips. Not going to post all of them as I don't want to give away certain information -- but I've shown I play my picks.

Do you track your profitability?

Some of your bets are low odds like 1.30, even if you mist most of the time, it still does not guarantee you'll be at profit with that low odds.

Profit and lose are part of gambling as every gambler will face some lose and some profit. We can increase our profit making chances with the help of experiencing more games having one choice or sticking with single game is not good strategy so better do something better so odds will go above 1.30 because gambling has huge potential.

I'm looking into tracking, I do comprehend you can lose money on an even W/L day. I'll keep y'all posted....

I am not much of a gambler too but I am deeply interested in gambling, and I believed that if I had picked interest earlier, I would have probably been a guru by now, but right now, what I am just doing is to really gather experience first, just like op said, he said he has been in sport for 3 years before entering gambling, and I think anyone that needs to have the chance of winning more in this game of luck really need to be very experienced.

I am glad that the op at least have  free play, at least I can still use that to gather some experiences because I would not want to really risk what I know I may lose badly if I dare try the game now, but seems what op is developing is really worth given a trial.

we were on the same boat as im not also a hardcore gambler but i love to play gambling sometimes on my spare time  .

if the same thing will i do i wouldnt say that im now a guru why ? because the chance of loosing is still there and its impossible to perfect a winning strategy here in gambling  .

if its a game of luck ( e.g dice , hi/lo games ) then i think experienced wont really matter but if its a game of skills ( e.g sports based ) then i think experience can contribute some    .

I am more than confident that if a person understands a sport very seriously, he has a lot of experience, thanks to which he can really predict the outcome of certain games.  And based on this, there are opportunities to make very good and profitable bets on the results of competitions in a particular sport.

I'm glad you're following along. I think that gambling isn't a think you really can become a "guru" in, or it wouldn't be considered gambling. I think that with knowledge of (the) game(s) you have a higher probability of making an educated gamble or guess upon outcome. I can also use mathematical/statistical models to crunch numbers and also try and produce winning results. As you mentioned, I wanted to give everyone a fair shot w/ free play -- you don't have to play along, you can follow along though (without betting). I'm hoping to build a group up with that first and see where it goes from there! So far the bets seem to be going pretty well. Hopefully we get some winners tonight.


As you mention, it's still gambling at the end of the day. We can make an informative decision, but other things can happen that can alter our plans (player gets hurt, not as good in the rain, sick, etc.). There's tons of factors obviously that need to be considered and even then, you're not always winning...


Everyone's aiming for profitability in the long run, you also just have to be mindful of the waves and make sure to ride them. Don't let them ride you.

Bills +3.5 and Eagles +8.5 could again both hit. I think the Bills are going to win the game, but I don't think they blow out Philly... Not that Philly has tried to win the last 2 weeks. Maybe the birds will be angry and win this game...

Buccs +8.5 seems fine, Titans suck I don't even know how they're favorites (It's probably a pick'em, but points favoring Titans (normally 3pts) for being home).

I think the Packers will win @ KC, even if Mahomes plays. The guy's hurt... Shouldn't play him. We'll have to wait until game time to see. Packers +2.5 seems okay. If Mahomes plays, +9.5 should be a steal?

I've been working on a new algorithm for some time now after VIP plays. This algorithm focuses a little more on Vegas average odds and then hard compares with the algorithms outputted projection to provide `value` in the odds. So this algorithm is heavily weighted in the odds direction and providing good value plays. This also has the potential to have many more plays (or less?) depending on the value in the day's plays. I have it currently hard focused on NBA and NFL -- going to stay away from unpredictability of college (football and basketball) and hockey since I normally bet totals there. I will be posting Spread and Money-Line plays FOR FREE from this model for AT LEAST 1 week (starting today, 11/21/19).

A little preview, as you can see it analyzes all the Vegas spreads and gives me their implied odds based off of what the line is at.

My algorithm runs the game, gives its own projection and then seeks value in it

So quick synopsis here, you see that Vegas is implying we only win 38% of the time, but my algorithm thinks we win (straight up) 40% of the time. This seems to think there's value and that if we played this game 100x we would make more money than Vegas is projecting we do. Does that make all plays great? Absolutely not, might not even play this game tonight for example. However, different concept -- it's completely free and will be posted in my discord all results, so you can just hang out and watch -- don't need to bet it. My goal is to make something -- that requires a little less work from me -- that is winning and I can sell out cheaper to other members who can't afford the plays I spend full mornings working on. Hopefully that appeals to more people!! Looking forward to seeing how this algorithm does in comparison with my VIP.

There's really nothing to say today. If you didn't read the news, don't know about sports, you still probably heard about it. That's the impact Kobe Bryant had on A LOT of people. How absolutely insane that he was taken away from us this early. He still had so much to look forward to in his future, coaching/owning teams, giving back to communities, being a father, and so much more. No one will ever have this same Mamba Mentality that he had, the will to do your best every single day and leave it out there on the biggest stage. On top of the tragedy, they took his shining star of a daughter who was going to be just like him. What an awful day and I really have nothing left to say today. Honestly. It's going to be a long week, this has been an awful start to 2020.

Hi Barr, just checking a bit. I might consider American sports next year seeing how big it is is gambling and now USA will open up sports betting even more so it could be useful to learn.

You put 61% WR and +200k profit but how do you bet? I do not see the amounts you put on all your bets. If 61% win for profit this means your bets should mainly be almost 2/1 if not more?

Another profitable day yesterday, but a disappointing one. Ended up 4-3 on the day. Lost the Under in the Spurs/Thunder by 1 point. The Penguins almost scored in OT and then choked. The Blackhawks led by 1 and gave up 3 straight (including empty net) to lose the game. Regardless, we won money, but could have been more. Let's not be greedy and get more money in the bank tonight.

My typical unit size is $550/game. So obviously with betting, the more you bet, the more you're going to win/lose. This also depends on the odds of the game's you're betting too. There's a lot of factors that go into how much you're profiting at the end of the day. I could say that I'm `+$200K` and have only made 3 bets of $100K each, winning 2 of them (which would be a 66.67% WR). Happy to share my results with you in the Discord, you can also check these threads for around ~6 months of games. I play real odds, average of ~-108 American (1.91 or something close to that Decimal). This isn't the joke `80% WR` service that bet on games tht win you pennies if they win.

Small slip yesterday 3-4 day. Lost the Bruins by 1 goal... Had 4 going into the 3rd. We even held our 2 NBA unders that had at least 50% of total points by half...

I'm thinking about running a March Madness tournament for this group. For those of you that don't know what that is, it's the playoffs for college basketball. 64 teams play in a big bracket down to the final 2 where we crown a winner. Tons of fun to watch even if you don't know the teams, especially this year since everyone sucks (no super dominate teams). NCAAB will play the rest of their tournament(s) [including March Madness] with no fans, but this could easily change to a cancellation too... What a shame to be honest with you...
