This is one of the problems we have in the crypto space. There are now more exchanges than the number of coins. If all those exchanges are genuine and reliable, it would have been good, but the unfortunate part of it is that some of them have just lunched to scam people. I wished there could be rules to guide against such.
Then as regards the link posted by the OP for those who might want to lunch their own exchange, I can confidently say that it is not advisable.
From experience, exchanges are meant to be secured. Which means lunching through your domain (which us a cloned version), might subject to to phishing and the security can easily be breached.

Yes, I do agree that there have been some scams in past years, but that raises a question on people's ethics. On the other hand, users need to cross-verify the credibility of exchanges before purchasing or depositing their cryptocurrencies.

I, myself being an active trader on a couple of exchanges, can understand that it's hard to trust exchanges. I have seen different exchanges offering different lucrative features to engage more users, and that's the part that keep them going in this exchange business. So I don't think there is any sort of saturation around these exchanges.

I try to check the demo of any exchange, if available, and understand the server infrastructure and security measures they have in place. If all goes well, it's a good deal.

You can clone the site but would miss many security features. Your cloned site would not clone the volume or users though it could be used as a phishing site with similar misspelled domain, it would be an unethical practice and could end you in jail. Copying of design without consent is also a crime.

I think there are a lot of exchanges in the encryption market. I don't like the clone exchange. I prefer innovative exchanges. Service content and marketing are very different from other exchanges.

This idea does not work for me as I am not keen on launching my own crypto project, be it crypto exchange or coins. I am happy working for the market as an investor and bounty hunter. Second, there are many exchanges and almost all of them have the same goal and target, to give customers a reliable and feasible service. But the article maybe beneficial for others interested in it.

that is not something that you should even attempt to do!
starting a new exchange service is not a child play, it has a lot of security concerns not only because you are supposed to be handling large sums of money but also because you are handling other people's money and security must be the first thing to consider.
cloning another website and running it "quickly" is the recipe for losing money because it is like a big invitation to all the newbie hackers to come and steal the money that is not even properly secured in such low quality platforms.

that's not safe and did you think about the possibility for that service to create a backdoor on your exchange site? this is the worst idea. If you have no skill to create or build your own code and then you should not do that. if you are thinking to build an exchange site is about to create it and then finish and that's wrong.

I recently came across an ad on the coinmarketcap website. There was also a platform ad where you could create your own free cryptocurrency exchange.

But when I examined it, it didn't sound very reliable to me. First of all, the cryptocurrencies that people deposit are completely under the control of the platform in question. It is not the person who manages to look like an Exchange owner! In the event of a possible fraud, the person managing the stock market may have problems.

The same thing you do if you want to create some private server from an online game but not 100% the same, only the mechanics and features, the real concern here is the security and the privacy of the people wants to use your exchange. but copying the whole thing will result in the original creator of that exchange sue you in court and not to mention you still need to register your exchange to the Government.

If someone deposits funds that came from terrorist funds or some people that need to evade a Tax from their country you also need to explain it to them that you do not involve on it at anyway. or else you're getting yourself in trouble.

In conclusion, there's no way that you can launch your exchange quickly, you need to realize that it needs a lot of work and the waiting period to finalize it all and ready to go for the traders.

This is the website that offers this kind of service I'm surprised that it's from India, where they are very strict from Cryptocurrency believers and holders, there is no mention of the cost, but I figure out it's going to cost a lot of money, looks good they offer many services related to Cryptocurrency

Yes, even I was surprised to see that these guys offer so many services related to crypto-development.
I personally do not think they charge a lot for their services because companies in India usually cost relatively less for their development solutions. This is one of the reasons why international companies outsource their development projects to Indian companies.

Launching a cryptocurrency exchange has never been an issue, the issue is sustaining it and making it work.. by now you should know that criminals tend to target cryptocurrency exchanges and if you do not have a very strong hacker that could constantly be upgrading and testing your security, I can bet that your exchange would be compromised within it's first week.

Well I do not know. It seems to me whoever says this is not such a simple process. Before my eyes there were a lot of projects where companies tried to create their own exchanges. And 99% of them failed. This is a very complex process that requires a lot of effort and a large team of specialists.

Using crypto exchange clone services won't do you any good, you have no experience in the field and because a clone service can deliver a ready exchange for you doesn't mean you can handle anything, good exchanges requires experts in the field, you have to build a qualified team

There are a lot of exchange that use ICO and end with closed services. I think open exchange is not simple that it looks because maintain cost will need a lot of money too, and if people can be easy like that to open exchange with clone system, it will be bad because people with money can do that, and each people's purpose is nobody know.

ofcourse you can use that's service, but for security issue and maintenance planing, i recomended you to build your own team.
if you use service from someone you must know how secure he created your application, and for handle daily operation you need Programer/IT team for security reason and operate everything.

It's too complicated that it needs to be as smooth as easy to use yet still have the security needed by the users. It's not a simple coding to be done but also a proper management and support system. Even we create new product but if it's not made by someone who have background and with vivid knowledge in trading and development, no users will use it.

yes, all of that is an important part when launching an exchanger, especially liquidity. I consider this liquidity very important because that is what will determine whether the exchanger will get many users or not, get a lot of trading volume or not. because the exhanger is not just about the token that will be listed there, but how much is the exchanger's liquidity.

It's rather unfortunate that cryptocurrency exchange could be established by using a clone. It shows that some of the exchange we have in the space are operated by clone and are easily converted into scam exchange. I'll enjoin everyone to be very careful when choosing an exchange to trade.

It is right and happen to some people around my community, NusaX or maybe Futurax exchange project that really hype in my country closed, and it all because funds problem, or maybe not good management and now they closed their services.

That is the problem why many people develops their own exchange so quickly then announce it on the community. That's why if I've seen some projects that are offering their exchange I don't really care about them. We have so many exchanges currently running and they are all doing good at the moment. They keep on competing to be on top and I think that's why there is no new exchanges that succeed right now.

Launching exchange is nothing but creating a website but not everyone could do that since it has privacy and security concers.If you are in need of services to create your exchange then I suggest you to not to create one.

Now, why would you want to launch another crypto exchange? The number of exchanges we have today is too much and its silently killing trading volume for many altcoins.

There is actually no benefits in creating an exchange. How can OP feel that creating an exchange would be that easy? Also he would need some house profits to first start regulating the exchange which would never be an cheap thing to do first. Also an working of an exchange is too complicated and a real strong source code is required behind each working exchange. How can OP just simply copy an existing exchange and mold it into his own exchange? Which coins would get listed over there?

Mostly dead or ponzi coins I should guess because the volume there would too be the minimal. A strong promotion team is required behind an exchange so that they could spread the awareness about the exchange globally and could generate a appropriate traffic onto the exchange.

Create an exchange certainly has its own difficulties if indeed we do not really understand about internet technology and also the Cryptocurrency work system, let's say you have succeeded in  create an exchange then how can you convince others to trade in the exchange that you have create? , of course things it will not be easy to do especially we know recently the number of exchanges that are more scam and deceiving its users so, it will certainly be very difficult for you to develop your exchange because people will prefer an old exchange and have a high security and trust system by current public.

You need to understand that there are a number of exchanges already which have been accumulated a number of investor's capital. Peoples hardly trust any new exchange these days as most of the newly launched exchanges have been only used for scamming peoples so that does not really attract investors or traders to trade on any newly launched exchange.

You basically would have no profits by launching an exchange if you do not have any users onto the platform so first you should think on gathering some public attention and than start developing the exchange.

Exchanges are making in billions every year so people can see it as business opportunity,but the fact is not every exchange can make that amount of profits.New exchanges need lot of capital to promote their site and get traffic from investors and project team to make profits.

Cryptocurrency exchange clone services? Are such things even reliable? I have seen a few people in this forum that claimed to be offering such services of letting people create their own exchanges on their hosted platform. To me that doesn’t make any sense, anyone that wants to create and run their own exchange and using a hosted server is just wasting their time. If you can’t afford to setup your own and also build a very secure platform and invest seriously into it then you should just forget about it.

 We are already tired of the lots of exchanges that are filling up the internet today and majority of them are scammers, and only a few of them are legit.

I have long been thinking about opening my own cryptocurrency exchange in a bid to provide reliable, trusted, easy and fast crypto exchange. I am in contact with some investors as well. Launching a crypto exchange quickly will lead to garbage exchange, it take years most times to get an exchange fully running, there are many things to always patch up to avoid earlier hacks, if you are not up for this do not try building an exchange before you land yourself in trouble

A competitive edge? No. If someone is so unoriginal or inept that they have to clone a site instead building their own, what edge would they have? How would they respond to problems when they didn't even have skills to build the site themselves? It's a perfect model only for exit scammers.
