If you bought top altcoins or good altcoins that has a potential in the market last March and April you are 30 to 50 % profit, now that we are in the bull period, what coins did you bought when the market is in the bear period.

These are the coins that I've bought and added more to my stash during the bear.

I bought some coins in the bear market time because I believe that's the perfect time to create my portfolio, I have ETN ,APL ,BST ,ETH,BTC etc but since altcoins season hasn't occur yet its still not too late to build altcoins portfolios now

in 2017 I bought the lots of Bitcoins only right now it will giving double profit for me so I will be happy with my investment how this year perform well and I got huge profit also with my investment in Bitcoin till now.

Usually I don't buy any cryptocurrency in the bear period because the risk is too big. But if I have to do it then I will buy BTC or ETH only. I am afraid to buy other altcoin in the bear market because maybe my fund isn't enough for averaging down strategy. The possibility to being able to rebound is very small.

I added a little amount of BTC in my portfolio. Just a little though. It is also my strategy recently to buy a little amount of Bitcoin from my monthly savings. This will hopefully add up and make a huge treasure in the years to come. As to altcoins, I already have a good number of them. I have ETH, XMR, CRPT, Waves, and several more. Those coins are for long-term hodling.

I don't have many funds some of my bounties stakes still do not have a value, but I bought a small amount of Bitcoin that's the only coin I bought because, in any situation and how you'd look at it, all altcoins depend on Bitcoin.

Well, for me I didn't bought anything but I traded my altcoins (that I got on bounties that I participated in) into Bitcoin and Ethereum. And yeah, I profited  50% on it.

Because of the uncertainty of the encryption market. I didn't buy altcoins. I just did some bounties assignments. I hope I can get a return in the bull market.

Bitcoin only.

To be honest, I have no idea that the Bitcoin's dominance will increase in the succeeding months when I bought Bitcoin. I just want to hold Bitcoin more than other altcoins so I just invested on Bitcoin and lucky for me, I got a small profit out of it but I don't want to sell it at this moment. I have a target price and when that price reached, I will sell a small percentage of my holdings and buy another altcoin for long run.

I only invested on the best coins, BTC, ETH and LTC. I got lucky to have invested on them when they are in their all-time-lows so yeah, but I haven't liquidated them yet. I'm planning to hold them till next year or at least if I don't have any emergencies that will require me to sell some to cover the expenses.

Honestly, it's hard to pick the right coins coming up in the ICO in the bear trend, the scenario is very much different now than 2017 when you can just pick a coin and sit tight while you double your investment, some coins however good on paper, cannot deliver when it hit the market.
I choose to invest on the top coins like Bitcoin, Ripple  XRP, Litecoin.

Not all good altcoins bought in bear market has return up to 50% by now and many are not even close to 50% return ,the only way things can turn around for altcoins now is the next altcoins season which is no where to be found presently

I was lucky to get some BNB and Probit, most significantly I bought some BTC and stored them for long term. But I did made some errors and am still in loss in total investment.
My investment on coinex token turned out to be a disaster, I blindly believe that coin and it put my portfolio down. Now I'm  highly optimistic about BNB.

I bought Pundi X in the bear market but the price increase is not so spectacular, even if this is a good coin with a serious team behind it the price grows slowly, profit is around 10-18%.

There's no guaranty in altcoins that are on the top 30 below in the bear market, some of them are not performing even if the bull trend comes, I just bought Bitcoin and Ethereum and traded some of my bounty coins to Ethereum, I only trust these two coins in the bear market.

Yeah, I bought. I bought many altcoin at certain rates with the money which I have for investment. I bought with the most of my money, from Top20 altcoins at certain rates. Now i plan to buy from tokens that which are new in the market and will be rise in the future.

some coin that have good news like binance coin with launching binance margin trading, hardfork for galileo and token burning, i think in the future this coin at least can hit more than $ 50

i'm collecting ethereum when the bear control the market, but i still doing that
because i believe in ethereum, this altcoins will surpass the past highest price again even more buddy

i am buying more vechain as of now. Why ? because i know that this token really have its value like a gold or even higher than gold itself. Because vechain got many connections in china, were talkin about big names and big companies ehre which can make its adoption much sooner.

i think i will just buy popular coin with good supporters and fans , XLM LTC and ETH are on my list
but im also buying new coin that i think will give me profit in the fututre

I have some GRAFT coins left from the GRAFT ICO that was back in January 2018.I also have bought a small amount of ETH.I'm hodling the GRAFT coins hoping for recovery of the price,but it looks to me that this altcoin is almost dead.I don't believe that ETH will recover to it's ATH,but I'm still holding it.  ;D

During the bear market, I loaded my bags with LTC, XLM and ICX. it's a pity that ICX hasn't really given me expected gains but LTC did wonders and XLM also tried.  Well, during the bear markets, people keep complaining but I see it as an opportunity to make good returns in crypto, it's all about taking calculated risks though.

Maybe Bitcoin is in bull market, but altcoins are not, for sure. You have to watch BTC price and not USD price, that is very important and you will realize that you lost a lot in altcoins.

I bought security plarform tokens like Polymath, Swarm and Smartlands. I also was tricked to buy the scam called Digitex Futures and lost some money there.
I am currently not happy to see that altcoins don't benefit from the bull market.

The only coin I bought during the bear trend were verity token and xlm, unfortunately verity project no longer exist as the project already close down, and xlm is yet still in the bear trend.

Personally i have accumulated quite a lot of eth in the last 5 to 6 quarters of the bear market although im already happy with my holdings in usd value but even eth is struggling in btc value which i was not expecting, however im quite optimistic that eth will break 1k mark in next 4 to 6 months hopefully.

i just added bitcoin and ethereum as i know this two will go up when the bullish market is up.. there are a lot of good coins also out there but i prefer this two.. ethereum is preparing for their v2 and i believe that this is a huge hit to this coin

I guess it's not a secret that I am a huge fan of Ethereum, I have been bagging it little by little over a period of time now, and even with the little pump recently I made a tidy profit off it. I always buy back during every correction because I know this is just the tip of the iceberg.

I bought some ETH, but that was late last year and also this year I bought a little more as there was no much funds as at then. Sincerely all worked out well thus proving again that holding potential projects always pays. Now I can buy other potential altcoins that I believe in, however I will always hold ETH.

maybe today you already get profit more than 50% from the ethereum dip price.accumulate ethereum as our main investment coin has less risk if we accumulate another coins.with strong support from community this coins able to survive in long time.

Some coins that I bought during March and April of this year is still very lited. I only focus on trading at that time and sell them and some are still for holding. Some coins likely XZC and NEM were my choices. At that time the price is still really low and now moreover XZV rises higher.

it's hard to get a clear picture of altcoins coming up in the ICO in the bear market, it's hard to take a chance so I just bought top coins like Bitcoin Eth and Litecoin, they are proven to move up, they are the prime mover and all indications you can see in these three coins.

It's a proof that holding quality alts when it's dipping is the best way to earned from this market, ETH really makes investors very satisfied from that big fall last year and fr those who able to buy below $100 are very happy to sell it or to hold it until no.

yes, bitcoin is always a concern and a top choice during the bear trend. but I also allocate a little to eth and ltc, bnb also provides a fairly fast return and high profit if we buy it during a bear.

User interest is a fast and powerful liquidity demand of crypto. My love in this market is placed in BTC and ETH. A little adventure now with OGO is also an interesting one.
Just wait for organic needs. It is useful in practice. What will you expect now? Artificial pumps or real needs?

Last month I was lucky because I got altkoin the results of a campaign without thinking after the coin listing in one of the exchanges I exchanged it for Ethereum and also a bit of Bitcoin and until now I still keep it and still wait until the market looks green again.

I'm checking some of the posts here and everybody that are posting here is buying the top coins in the market which are Bitcoin and Ethereum I have done the same thing, bear trend offers the best time to buy these two coins and sell it when it hit all time high.

Everyone is a believer of these two coins, you wouldn't expect someone who will buy any inferior coin when you knew the prices of those coins aren't going to spike at about 5% a day. I'm one of those users who are buying some other altcoins for long term like TRX. Its still one of the top coins but cheaper.

The coins that I bought in the bear trend is bitcoin, litecoin, ethereum, grin, trx, ada, and some others. I buy those coins only when I feel that the price is at a low price so I can directly buy at that price. When I see the coin price can increase, I sell some amount to get my money back, and then I still hold the rest just in case the price can increase more than the last time I sell. I watch that after the price reached a high price, the price will down for a moment, but then the price will increase more and that is my chance to sell.

There is no huge difference in value between coins and tokens that are bought back in the bear market season and now,for example I bought many electroneum coins for 0.006$ per one and its still around 0.005-0.006 till today

I bought CloakCoin lately.

The only coin I bought during the bear period was a coin called Nexty, it fell so much from it's ATH and considering the fact that is has it's own native blockchain, I felt strongly that it will do well in a bullrun... Evidently u was wrong and up till now, I haven't even seen a 10% profit although I didn't lose.

This is always the problem I have. It has so discouraged me from buying coins cos I tend to buy when the market is bullish. If I had bought bitcoin as at February, my profit would be huge now. I kept postponing. Well, congrats to those who utilize the bear market.

the coin that I buy when at market in bear period is :
1. BTC
2. LTC
3. ETH
4. BNB
5. NEM
because from the first I have invested in the coin for a long-term investment and when the price of the coin down then I buy more the coin and hold, because I believe in the future the price of the coin will increase very high and give me a big profit.

XZC is one of the interesting coin bought when the price is still low. On April, it was still around $7 and it has reached around almost $11. But today, it decreases and at the rate of $9.01. But, at least this coin has god increase after the bear market with the bottom price. We can also see some other altcoins that have a similar condition such as BNB with great increase and movement of the price.

It is not easy to buy the expensive altcoins in the bull market but the situation changes to our advantage in the bear market which continued for the years on the altcoin market till next alt season. Small market cap altcoins have no future and buying this kind of altcoins only takes from us. Alt season comes right after the death of the bear market and the uptrend will be a start point of the altcoin season. I favour investing in the XLM,XRP,ETH,ZCASH.

I have bought some ETH for 100 dollars and I am pretty happy with it. Furthermore, I have collected a lot of altcoins by taking part in different bounties in 2018, but those are still not bringing enough benefits to be fare.

-5kDuring the bear market i invested into a couple of potential altcoins such as Binance Coins, Quantum, Chainlink when bitcoin's price was within $3k-$5k. I have sold Binance coin but i am still holding unto the others as i know these projects are going to turn out great in the near future. I have learnt to hold the coins of some projects especially when i realize that the team has been able to develop a working product to back their native cryptocurrency. Start investing into some of these altcoins and you would be glad you did in some years to come.

I am currently monitoring the coins Utrust (UTK) and Aeternity (AE), I think both this coins are currently on a good opportunity to buy because the price is very cheap, and I am sure against both these coins in the end of 2020 years when the BullRun happens then we Will get a good profit from investing from both these coins.

I grow up with binance coin. But after i see bitcoin was going down, i trade it to many alts but i lost everything anyway. From doubling the investment, now i am in minus.  :P
Still trading with alts, because they are more profitable when bitcoin rise.

I also bought when the market started to rise, but my coins did not increase since I bought them, such as xrp and xlm, losing more and more.

certainly a coin that has a large volume and a clear concept, and has good teamwork to develop the project. the coin is in the top 10 marketplace, can't doubt it. I think investing in coins that are in the top 10 marketplace is safer.

What do you guys think about ICO projects? Maybe like Kozjin, Harmony or Asure Network?

I have done couple of purchases at the bottom of the bear market, but I didn't have a lucky hand when choosing which ones to buy as some of my choices dumped even more after I filled my bags. But still, I believe them in the long term, so I am good with it. Lets mention Aion and Zilliqa for example.

Oh yeah! Zilliqa - will definitely bring a very good profit in the future and everyone needs to have some coins in their portfolio

I bought several coins in the bear trend some coins I am holding it for long term and even I sold some of my coins in loss too to be very honest. I bought B2bx, Aeron, Help, NPXS, V-ID, Ethereum and Echt but almost every coins drops further from my buying point so I will continue to hold. 

I bought coins in winter, when there was a bear market and the prices were at the bottom, I bought the following coins: ETH, LTC and BNB

Yes, you do not need to buy now , the market does not show bullish mood for altcoins, better wait until the altcoins start shooting and then already pick up , now if you're lucky you can make 20% , and if not then only a new bottom.

Why didn't I bother with alts?
Because I have been doing this for three years and bitcoin has ALWAYS outperformed everything else.
Sure, some coins have momentarily outperformed bitcoin.
But when time comes to cash out, it is the btc you need.
Instead of speculating, just look at the numbers.

I bought back in to btc last december when it was $3200.
Show me another coin that has been able to steadily give 300% or more returns.
There is none, btc is king!

I have lost a lot of money so I have not bought anything so far, but if I have money, I want to buy BNB and ethereum because both have very good potential

I dint think you should call any transaction in tether investment, tether is just a utility coin and not an investment coin, please tell me what the investment there in a coin that the value is constant and does not add value to its price. As the name implies which you confirmed yourself, tether coin is just a stable coin and that is al, you use it as pair for trade and you also use it to keep the value of your money, it will never increase in price for you to get any profit from it.

So, if you are using tether as investment, I guess you are really wasting your money, because whatever value you see in tether  now is what you will see for the rest of their existence and your money will forever remain same in it. If you want to consider any coin to invest in, I would just advise you invest in BTC, ETH others.

I did not buy. Unfortunately, there was no possibility at that time. But I am protecting the best choice for $ 70. I think that many big players have already increased their capital several times.
