I used to do Air drop and bounty. Get all coins in time when the market is down. The value of all these coins lost 90% even now looking at it I do not believe it is no longer valid.
I cannot sell them because no one buys them, and its value can only be enough to transfer to exchange.
So do you have a way to hide it or delete all the coins from your wallet?

There's no way to delete or hide it on your wallet but I think you are irritated looking at those coins through your wallet. I've read someone suggested this before that create another MEW and then send those useless coins to that wallet and leave that new wallet forever.
Problem solved.

You can send them all to the default address that already used to burn anycoin and you can delete them all through doing it right now it's very easy to do that.
If you are thinking they were worthless and then you can follow my suggestion to burn them all but is it a problem to keep them in your wallet?

The easiest way is to create a new wallet and keep the symbols valuable, But you should not regret in the near future the price of symbols may rise and you burn them will be a kind of madness. ;)

You can send him to some one, but its eat your eth, so keep it and wait maybe in one day something rise in the price and can pay for transfer all shit tokens

Just send it away for any address that you like, but it's not recommended as you will just more likely going to waste ethereum to be used as gas for token transactions, so just keep it and make it looked like a collection of shits in your wallet, it's kinda cool to see in wallets actually.

Thank you to everyone who proposed how to solve all coins that have no value for me. However, when I transferred them, I had to pay for it. So is there any way to delete it without charge?

Send them to another wallet or to nonexist wallet. But it would cost a lot of Ethereum to pay transaction fees. Because smart contracts transactions are more expensive than ordinary transactions on Ethereum blockchain.

You would be losing money with each transaction. How many coins/ETH do you want from that wallet address? If they are less than 10, it's better to open a new wallet and just send these valuable coins/ETH to this new address and stop using the one you are currently using. Your wallet is like your bank which you can't delete anything and cannot close it either. You need to send the balance somewhere or open a new one.

Anything you do will cost you ETH, either if you create a new wallet to send the useless tokens or if you create a wallet to send the valid ones, whatever you do you will be paying the gas. However much seeing these tokens bothers you, it's better to do nothing. Who knows, maybe some of these tokens can surprise you in the future.

You can't delete coins in your etherwallet. If anyone doesn't want it, you can send it to another wallet that you have.

I was facing this issue too until I decided to ask for help from friends and they recommended imtoken app, you can easily import your MyEtherWallet there and the app would enable you hide all those useless tokens that you do not need again, infact I just hid some tokens today myself.

In my wallet now have more than 200 kinds of token. So very difficult to transfer them to other wallet because fee ETH transfer them to other.

The only way to go about this is to create a new wallet, transfer all the tokens you don't wish to see in your main wallet to the new wallet keep it there. Also keep the new wallet safe who knows something might come out of the tokens in the future.

Did you try using Etherdelta or Forkdelta? Some coins (even valueless coins) are traded there and only when you find a coin having any value, then only transfer it to Etherdelta and sell those coins. To see which coin is being traded, you can check https://deltabalances.github.io/ after connecting your wallet to Etherdelta. Try metamask to be safe.

You can report it on etherscan website and if enough people will report the coin as a spam, it will be not showed in your wallet.

Well in situations as that you have 2 options.

1. Send those coins to the supposed exchanges; place a buy order and hope for lucky purchase.
2. Just move on and continue your bounty and airdrop tasks; you will get better tokens

You can delete you coin, all coin can be track so if you want to remove it from your wallet the solution is send to another ERC-20 token. I dont know why you want to delete it, Any bother you if you have many kind of tokens?

Why not just abondon the Ethereum address or gradually abandon it? You could transfer the few tokens you find valuable  along with your Ether to a new address I guess.

Just create a new wallet, or you can send all those tokens to a new address. There is no way you can delete or burn them, it will last forever

why do you want to delete or hide your token? I think all that is left enough until one day you can sell it.
if you want your myetherwallet clean of tokens you can make it new and it's free. if you make a transfer to a number of exchanges that require GAS, you must prepare a number of ETH to make transactions.

Imtoken offers such function, so also some other wallets. If you are talking of not seeing such in your wallet again, you should be talking about sending to a burn address.

It's actually funny that one could have several coin whose cumulative value cannot finance the gas fee needed to move it out of the wallet, in cases like this you have to either abandon the wallet or hid the token contract address, if you're using Imtoken wallet.

There's no way to do that. It's better to move your useful coins to a different wallet to track them easily. You can also put them in the respective exchanges when they get listed. You can also provide different wallets for airdrops and different for bounty and different for bought tokens.

This is the smartest decision to use a separate wallet for airdrops. If you can’t change the situation, change your attitude towards it. Create a new wallet for new coins.

Better to do that as there's really a lots of scam projects which is no longer showing any progress or coins which didn't get the chance being listed and now not showing any interest from the market, that particular coins are very annoying when you see it inside your wallet, better to have a new one and send those solid projects which have potential to grow so it's not that hard for you to track it down when the market show some great movements.

This may be a bright idea but I do not think that it is worth wasting gas on just to move some shitcoins from one wallet to another. Why not just start afresh and open a new ether wallet instead?

You can't hide tokens on myetherwallet, the best you can do is transfer your tokens which you don't wish to see to another Eth wallet or send it back to the smart contract where the tokens were first sent to you from by so doing it will stop showing on your wallet.

Recently the purse MEW the function of converting the coins. You can exchange your tokens for etheri directly inside the wallet. The list of tokens is constantly updated, so you can try to get rid of unnecessary coins in this way.

Deleting of coins isn't possible but however if you are using imtoken wallet there is a feature which makes hiding of coins possible although am still using the older version don't know about the latest version. I got the same problem. And I think that you should use Metamask wallet and there you can add or delete displayed tokens. Try it by downloading Metamask extension in google chrome.

Why do you want to throw it away or hide it. I prefer to see it still visible in my wallet.

I don't think that is ever possible with myetherwallet. Actually you aren't the only one who experienced such and the best step I took was creating another wallet altogether because seeing those coins brings hurtful memories. Also, I would suggest you use other wallets where you can have the power to control your wallet easily such as Trust wallet and co.

I would have preferred a tech that allows us to delete all these shitcoins from our wallets. But since that feature is not yet available, to turn off the shitcoins from your wallet, kindly import your MEW wallet to imtoken and then go to assets and turn off the buttons

I guess many who started with airdrops have same experience that is, having worthless coins in their wallets. About deleting or hidding coins in MyEtherWallet I don't think I have seen that feature anywhere unless in other wallet applications like the prominent imtoken; maybe one day it will be added to MEW. Let me share with you the direction I took, and that is creating a new wallet.

Simply send the coins to another address. You can create a new MEW address or give it to someone else's address. That is the only way you hide your shitcoin balance. And that sometimes I do to tidy up the list of coins in the wallet.

You cannot delete it from your wallet. But to make it disappear, you can send them to another wallet address.
Or you create and use a new wallet address. This will make you more comfortable looking for money in your wallet.

I think no need to care too much about the shit tokens, currently look like no value at all, but we don't know that some of them will have value in some days, so simply create a new mew address and send all valueable tokens to there, check the old shit tokens address once a month, maybe onesdays it will have some surprise.

I think there's no way to hide altcoins or tokens in our myetherwallet but speaking of deleting it is only deleted if we already sold it or trade it.

Like you, i also have some tokens in myetherwallet that has only low cost values, however it is good that we just keep it there, maybe in the future years of crypto, what we hold in our mew would give us prodits in the long run hopefully.

why don't you keep all those coins as a remembrance, you can not hide or delete all coins in your wallet. You can create another wallet if you really don't like to see useless coins.

It's weird when you want to lose all the coins you have in your wallet. Well, there is no way to delete it or eliminate it. but, there are several ways that you can't use it anymore, like sending it to another wallet and removing the PV, or something like that.

if you are proud of it, try checking the price at Forkdelta, I think if the coin you use is ERC20, you can sell it there. Well, if you can't, make a new wallet and collect all the results of your airdrop or smartphone there. maybe someday it will have a price.

I think i will save all my coins although it is not have value  ;D, can make us remember which project that not good and maybe can be something that we can collect. About main wallet, i agree with people who said that if we want to use some coin, we just move it to another wallet or maybe make new as main wallet. Because from what i see, there are a lot of coins that "bad" if compared with "good coins" so will waste time, fee and another thing if we want to delete coins that we not used.

Any tokens can be made invisible in the MyEtherWallet wallet, however, they will still be visible through the etherscan.io function.
I do not think that it’s worth getting rid of some so far unnecessary tokens, they can again grow even after a few years. If you do not want to see them, it’s better to leave this wallet and create a new one. I would not recommend getting rid of an old wallet with unnecessary tokens.

Why even bother to delete those coins ? New tokens usually doesn't appear in myetherwallet.
You need to add manually new tokens in myetherwallet to display it, but it will appear in ethernet explorer like etherscan.io
If you want to remove tokens from your wallet, just transfer it to 0x00000000000 address.

You can send all your coins to random ETH addresses around the network, but you will be forced to pay the gas fee. It is much easier to create a new one, that takes several minutes and solves all the problems with useless tokens.

THere is no way you can hide your tokens or delete them on your Myetherwallet.
All you can do is to send them to certain wallet address like 0x0000000000000....0
It is like burning coins. If you dont want then you can just create new wallet on MEW.

I really wish there was a way to hide those shit coins, I have alot of them with 0 (zero)  value and it pisses me off. Out of the whole airdrops I participated in, I never got one single valuable token.
Even I decided to open a new wallet and send them there, to still see their names among my token lists with 0 balance is still a Nightmare.

Nope, we have no way to hide them all either delete it too. It will only store there forever were it became a shit or trash coins in the end.
Probably, if you are using MEW you can hide them only to remove its smart contract but it will still see on the etherscan.io.

yes, waves has this feature. but the ethereum platform and several other platforms don't have it. if now many coins or junk tokens in our wallet leave it alone, there's no harm in them still in our wallet.

The best way to hide the coin from your wallet is to use the Imtoken wallet function of hiding some tokens through their contract address. This will be very effective on the Imtoken 1 wallet, I haven't tried it yet on the Imtoken 2.0 wallet. To the best of my understanding, there's no way to delete a token, from your wallet. At best it could be hidden.

Just create another wallet and send them there, and forget about it, so you will only spend on the price for gas, and maybe after a while something will grow and you can sell it, just watch the wallet. This is my way.

You can create new wallet and spend just a little fee, it's easiest way, or you can send your token to burn contract with address: 0x0, very simple. But for your tiny value token, you can find a dealer who will buy your tokens with cheap price by fiat.

For a coin not worth anything I don't think I will spend any ETH sending it to any address just to forget it. My own advice would be to create a new ETH address and move on from there while still keeping the other in check just in case something unpredictable happens in the future. And I believe you (just like me)  have learnt your lessons so you don't get involved with worthless coins again.

I have few worthless tokens in my etherwallet too, I never thought about removing them, why to bother with that. Maybe they should be there as a reminder for bad investments, to never repeat something similar.
If you don`t plan to hold something for long, don`t invest in short, old saying. Learn from mistakes, don`t cover them.

If the token has not listed in myetherwallet, it won't visible when you open your wallet there.
But peoples still can see the tokens in your address, by using ethereum explorer website like etherscan.io
So, you cannot hide it, blockchain is like a transparent ledger unless you are using private coin like XMR.

i'am not sure if we can delete or hidden our coin there, but if you want to u can send your token to etherdelte or forkdelta, and forget it. but the easiest way just create a new wallet. I think there is now limitation how many you can create wallet on myetherwallet

There is no way to erase coins from your myetherwallet. But you can still hide coins that cannot benefit you.
By using the Imtoken application, You can import all the data in myetherwallet to Imtoken, and there you can easily hide coins that have no price.

Maybe you're tired of the coins you generate from Airdrop or project coins. There is no way to remove your coins. Even each transaction sends coins and receives all the coins recorded in the wallet, and cannot be lost on the transaction record.

They cannot be deleted. I have problem of it also but the best action in order to erase those shitcoin is to create a new wallet and transfer only the coins that you need to it so you don't need to pay for more fees instead of transferring all the shitcoins to another wallet.

Example : If you have like 40 shitcoins, then you need to transfer them to other address and spend 40 transaction fees which is not a good idea. Instead do the opposite, create a new wallet and transfer only the coins that you need. Less hassle and less fees to pay.

This is a blockchain, you can’t manage to remove or hide your coins in any way, except in the interface of some third-party program.
Why don't you just get a new wallet and send really valuable coins on it.

there are 2 ways,
First you can transfer all worthless coins to another wallet.
or the second one, you can create a new wallet and move only valuable coins.

if seen from both these ways the second choice may be much cheaper. because you only move a few coins.

I don't think there is a way to delete or hide your coins form your wallet. You got get options though. Keep as it is and wait if those useless coins start trading someday. You can a and those shitcoin to a burn address or another address and leave it. You also can givebit to someone. That's all.

As many others already suggested, send those tokens to some other address, it can even be some random exchange wallet where no one will raise a brow about it. Or just abandon your existing wallet and send your valuable tokens to your new wallet, problem solved.

I dont think its possible at this point in time. I am also looking for some clean up strategy in my wallet. I hate to see lots of non performing or dead tokens just sitting in my wallet.

If you find those coins annoying, you can create a spare wallet for these dead coins, and just forget all about it, just retain your coins that has potential in the market, we all suffer from these useless airdrops, I also have over 100 dead coins in all my wallets, I have to stopped participating in these airdrops and limit participating in bounty campaign, these coins are really annoying.

There is no way to delete of hide them, the only option is to create another wallet or transfer your shitcoins to another wallet in which will cost you additional transaction fees.

You can't permanently delete coins and tokens in myether wallet since they are registered inside the blockchain, you can only delete them temporarily which will make them not to display in your wallet until you decide to add their contract address again, just press on the token name for few seconds and the delete tab will appear

You can hidden on your wallet with transfer your shit coin to other wallet, but why you risk about shit coin on your myether wallet because is not make you fell not good with shit coin, you can removed from your account by sending to other wallet, but best option you can make new wallet to remove all of shit coin.

I also have numbers of shitcoins from airdrop. I think the best way to get rid of them is just to send them to any random address and there you go. I used to have almost 20+ altcoins on my other wallet when I was active in airdrops and some that I received randomly.

If you want all those coins to be no longer in the wallet that you use to join the bounty or the wallet you use to trade, then you can create a new wallet and send all the junk coins. However this only applies to ERC20 coins. But if the coins are not ERC20, you can make their owner wallet.

i think it's not too annoying, maybe they feel uncomfortable because there is a lot of altcoin stored in the wallet but none of the coins can make money.

Myetherscan automatically hides tokens that were reported as spams, but for that many users have to report that this is a spam coin.
Or you can use MetaMask app where you can add only tokens what you want.  :)

You can manage it through dividing, Divide it in a different wallet and don't use those wallets for bounty programs or airdrop. whenever want to sell transfer that coin/token to market for trading.

There is none the best option is to not open the wallet and forget it so you can move on, you're not alone on this many bounty hunters suffers the same fate, until they found out late, just look at your wallet from time to time sometimes they suddenly pop up with value, you never know, what's going to happen, or when will altcoins days will come.

I would solve the problem by creating a new wallet, send important coins and coins with potential significance there. I like this option because the old wallet was used in many dubious forms, which means that it can already be under the attack of spam. Myetherwallet is just like bank account as you can't delete your money from bank account until you withdraw that money same thing is myetherwallet ,you can't delete or hide altcoins you can only withdraw into other wallet or exchanges.

If you are just talking about myetherwallet, not etherscan, you can delete it(it will remain in the wallet, but not on your list).
Or the best way is to send it to another etherwallet, so you can get rid of it easily.

Irritating right? Seems like you've been on a same league as us before. Also, my wallet has many spam tokens with no value but what I did is I replace it with a new wallet and this time I only picked airdrop or campaign to join which I am sure will not be displayed of tokens alone. Yes, it is not good to have wallets full of tokens but only got nothing in value.

It's better if we replace it with a new wallet address, than we have to delete the spam token from our old wallet address because we don't know maybe in the future spam tokens can have value, I have a lot of spam tokens sent from airdrop or bounties  the followed and I still keep the token until now and hope that in the future the spam token can have value.
But if you want to hide the token from your imtoken wallet, you can do it, by:

Don't you worry, your not the only person here who have that scenario. I know its kind of annoying to see those shit coin that are nothing to give any help to us, but it will be there forever as long as the blockchain exist. Who knows one day miracle comes with those coins to be alive again :D, if you really like to forget them, you can change the address then leave and forget that address anymore.

Online wallets is not a smart thing to do. Put the coins on a harddisk or a file.

No, there is no such possibility. In your case, it is easier to create a new Ether wallet.

Hidden shit coin on your wallet if easy, open your myetherwallet and looking for balance in your account, click cross mark and your shit coin is never appear in your wallet, want you got back maybe you have re submit contract address again to show up your shit wallet, although you lazy for created new wallet if you want shit coin is not in your account.

i see 2 possibilities here. you transfer the few tokens you want to keep to a new address
and leave the rest where it is. or you destroy the PK of your address. then you're all out. 8)

If you want to get rid of all the shitcoins in your wallet do the following
1. Send them all to unknown wallet address, if a total bye bye
2. Send them to an exchange and leave them there, since there is no volume just let them be on the exchange
3. Delete the contract addresses so they won't appear on your wallet directly

if you have never entered it at all in MEW I think it will not appear in the list, because there are some tokens that are not yet registered in MEW, and must first add, especially tokens that have just released their names will not exist.

not only airdrop coins, from bounties or ICOs, there are sometimes junk coins in our wallets. no need to throw it away, I have a lot in my wallet, even from 2017 bounty coins that have never been registered in an exchange. and I don't feel disturbed about that. leave them there and it won't hurt even though they will never have a price.

Why would you hide or delete it? What if it increase in value over time? Just let them in your wallet and let them pump for a while you are still joining some airdrops and bounties to increase the quantity of your token that may have a value in the future. Try to do social mining as well, some good and legit projects does that even thought they are already listed at exchanges.

There are different kinds of wallets in existence and most of them allows you to hide your useless tokens, those tokens would still exist ofcourse and if you scan your wallet through etherscan, you would still see those tokens there but atleast whenever you log into your wallet, you would not see those tokens staring back at you, wallets that allows you to do this is imtoken and trust wallet, those are the two I have tried and they worked for me just fine, I still use them till this day.

Yes, they cant do that the only option available if you dont want to see it is to transfer to another ETH wallet .which requires eth balance for transaction fees if you are willing to waste some eth to send it to another wallet that will be the best option and you will never find that token again.

That's the beauty of blockchain technology, everything is decentralised and open and opening a new wallet doesn't cost you anything and doesn't take time at all, but if you want to remove the tokens so you wouldn't keep seeing it, you could simply just send them out to a spam wallet that you know or keep, or if it's just that you do not wanna see them anymore, you could turn them off, they would still be in the blockchain ofcourse but you wouldnt be able to view them in your wallet, imtoken supports this feature.

The most annoying thing is using my ethereum as the transaction cost ie.gas in moving out those shits token I think its better to create a new wallet as you rightly said personally its been a long time I login to myethwallet because those tokens are like eyesore to me, however I thought one of those shit coins might become useful in the nearest future probably if the project is resuscitated.

If you feel frustrated seeing those worthless tokens in your wallet, the solution is to forget about your wallet temporarily, and don't open it again. Make another new wallet for other tokens. On the other hand when you're lucky and there is one of your tokens to the moon, you can sell it and you can be rich. Who knows, the developer will make changes to progress the coins.

I experienced this, too many useless tokens in MEW wallet and if I do this, then I just throw away my ethereum just to transfer my useless token. I prefer to let my useless token in my wallet and not get my hopes up on coins like this.

This process can't be done. Well but if youre using a 3rd party app like Imtoken on importing youre mew wallet you can delete youre display tokens that you dont want to see. If you want youre wallet to be free, burn it. send to unknown address such as 0x0000 and it will be gone forever in youre wallet.

I do not get why anyone would like to delete their wallet, generating new addresses is free and can be done very quickly, if you do not like the idea of watching all the coins you have that have lost all their value then you can just never open that wallet again and forget about those coins, but even if the probabilities are small if one of the coins you obtained through airdrops or bounty campaigns goes up if you forgot about your wallet you will not obtain those benefits.

To delete your all token from wallet is just send it out to another wallet, but it takes money for the gas. You can never delete those tokens until you have zero.

there is a process called burning and it works like that where you send the coin to a random address  .these address can be from existing wallets or only made up numbers and letter which dont exist on a wallet all so the coins will be lost forever if sended to it  but why spend extra fees when your only goal is to dispose them  ? why can you just forget your wallet or throw away your private keys  ? that is less hassel and less costy thing to do   . i dont get the idea  of throwing away coins while other love thier coins including the shittiest one  '

Ya, i do prefer to ignore those shit tokens than I must pay more fees to send them. I think the reason why the thread starter not throw away his wallet because he already join many campaign and it make him can't change wallet address, so he keep using this wallet and want to those shite tokens vanish from that wallet address.

I agree with many speakers that you should just create a new wallet. Or try to send the coins to a null address, or some other non-existent address. Both of these methods will be a bit expensive, you will still have to pay for sending coins.

Wow, it's so unfortunate. Most airdroppers and bounty hunters are in same predicament. The issue is that you can't actually delete your tokens from the wallet. At best you can hide it on Imtoken wallet by removing the tokens highlighted on the wallet. You may need the ticker or contract address to be able to successfully carry out this on the tokens.

What is the point in deleting the tokens? You can either hide these tokens, or create a new MEW wallet and move your ETH and useful tokens there. Also, make sure that you don't delete tokens just for the sake of it. Although it is rare in cryptocurrency market, there were incidents in the past when dead/dormant tokens suddenly got alive and gave good returns for the investors.

maybe the OP wants to delete the token that has become junk in the myetherwallet wallet so he doesn't want to see it anymore, indeed there is nothing that can delete it from the wallet that can be done is just toss out the token then it's certain the token will be erased from the wallet because in his wallet there is no trash token again.

I have been using myether wallet for years and there is no way to hide or delete coin. Except you import your private key to crypto wallet like imtoken, trust wallet it will be very easy to hide a coin all you need to search for the ticker to plus sign to minus.  Very simple.

The only way to do that is to burn it if it irritates you however you'll need to spend Ethereum for each of transfers which is not worth it just to make yourself more feeling organized with your wallet. Alternatively, you may just move all of the valuable altcoins to a clean wallet including your ETH and then keep the old wallet thus you can still open it in case some grabage coins appear to have a great value to the market.

Yes, when we see a token that we get increases and we forget our wallets, we lose the benefits of them. The best way is to create a new wallet and transfer coins you want into this. If you want it to remain clutter free, don't give it directly to anyone and use only while depositing and withdrawing from exchange. Well I don't see any option to delete the coins or hide in myetherwallet. Try to check in forkdelta maybe one of your coins listed in there. If all your coins not in the forkdelta, I guess you should create a new wallet.

When we open our wallets and find lots of tokens or coins that are worthless or not worth the price and some are not yet listed in exchange sometimes we feel like just removing them from our wallets, but I don't think there is a way to remove or delete them and for me it is not be something to think about, just leave the tokens and coins in our wallets and maybe someday these coins might become valuable and give us an advantage.

you cant delete or hide token in myetherwallet once you add it in your wallet
if you just dont want to see the token its better to make a new wallet and just move your ethereum to the new wallet
as of now the coin might be useless but there still a small chance that price will increase someday

There is no way to do such things but Myetherwallet may add options to remove a dead or unwanted coin. Because recently I have seen the tag and note option added in Ethplorer, so your problem can be solved in the future. You can move those shit coins to a burn address to remove from your portfolio or create a new address, these are the present solution.

If you like the address of that wallet, you can send some useless token to another wallet but this is need gas fee eth.

Hide or remove tokens from your personal wallet will not work, the only thing you can do is simply send them to your friends or to the Ether Delta exchange, in the hope that after some time your tokens will cost something.

That's what I also did if I have a huge amount in one of my wallet I just transfer to another wallet, because there is no restriction on the number of wallet that you can create you can create as  many as you like and you will not be restricted, if you want to separate your good coins to your bad tokens you can also do the same, hiding the coin has no options in any wallets.

I used to have the same problem, lots of coins that I thought were not good in the wallet, but there was no option to delete or hide them. Finally I did the same thing, transferring it to another wallet, which requires a small transfer fee

What is the problem in keeping them as such in the wallet? Unless you have thousands of different tokens, it shouldn't matter. If it irritates you, then you can send them to a disposal wallet as you have posted. But my question is why you need to spend gas on sending these tokens to the disposal wallets? Token spamming has become very infrequent nowadays. The last time I received a token in my ERC-20 wallet was almost six months back.

Have tried that and the results are still the same, i use DS-WALLET and I still see those coins just that this time around the value is zero, is there any other way to get rid of the display of zero tokens
