It is 30 july 2015 when ETH initially was released. Everyone here might have noticed the amazing work done by ETH team. It is all there efforts that ETH stands the second coin in Crypto coin List.

I was here during the release of ETH but the funny thing is me along with a lot of other people called it a scam. It was trading below a dollar for a long time.
Not trusting ETH was one of the largest mistake I've made. Though late, I ended up buying ETH for $33 and sold it just above $100, it was one of my best investment return.

I am only interested in airdrops back 2015 I missed that Ethereum just like what I missed Bitcoin back 2013, we cannot go back in time but at least we have an insight and criteria on what a good project should be, and we have Ethereum to thank that, they have laid out something that all coming  projects should be doing to get the nod of investors.

Those involved in crypto from 2013 to 2015 were very lucky. Unfortunately I knew Bitcointalk in 2017 and was not active. Because people have shared experiences, I also feel sorry for being late to know ETH. But I am sure that I am very happy to know ETH.

after following ethereum since 2016 I just learned that ethereum is birthday today, happy birthday wishes from me hopefully after a big upgrade next year, problems like contracts and transaction costs have been successfully resolved.

They have come a long way, I can't imagine Cryptocurrency now if there is no Ethereum, they have put something into the table that revolutionizes the cryptocurrency, one of this is their token creation and smart contract, it makes easy for companies to create their token and do crowdfunding.

Congratulations to Eth . Four years and still going strong. Being number two among the league of crypto-currencies is a not a mean feat. Good job the team behind the project is doing

When I first heard about ETH, I thought it was nothing, I had no idea how big it would be, happy birthday ether.

One of the very first ICO. 4 years but they have done so many things, and actually Ethereum has grown so rapidly over the past 4 years, when they created the ICO revolution as well as the hype it brings.

How loud that sounds. But I think Vitalik Buterin betrayed his community. He continues to insist on pipe dreams.

During these 4 years, the coin showed itself from the good side, on its blockchain several successful projects were made: tron, eos.
It is a pity that I learned about the coin very late only in 2017, when it was at the very peak of its growth.
Now, from the development team, I am waiting for the transition to a new algorithm pos, since I want to believe that the transfer fees decrease and many ordinary users will be able to mining their ethereum on laptop.

This is a very great memory.  Sincerely,  Ethereum has be superb all these years. Who ever knew it could succeed this much. Many people even said it was a scam when it was released but I believe they all have a different testimony today as we all can see that Ethereum has come to stay. Beautiful!

It has been 4 years since the launch of the second most popular cryptocurrency, and arguably the second best, or the most used platform in terms of number of projects running on its blockchain.

I think this is the best creation after the Bitcoin because it had huge expectation nowadays but in the beginning stage it also struggling like each and every cryptocurrency but after all this things it play an important role in this Crypto world that is the best thing in this

This coin is my 2nd favorite after bitcoin. I've been in this forum for more than a year and are still trying to collect my first 1ETH in one wallet. Even though I've exchanged it several times for fiat, it's not 1 unit intact. Apparently, I have to really work hard from now on.

One of my favorite alt. Eth still proves to be one of the strongest cryptocurrencies and always move alongside the bullrun of btc as well. The smart contract , the dapps etc. Eth definitely standout and maintain the record of top2 cryptocurrency in the market chart.

I became interested in cryptocurrency since August 2017. Ethereum immediately became my favorite coin. Today is a wonderful event-DR network Ethereum! The launch took place in 2015 and for two years after that date ETH took and continues to hold the 2nd place among the TOP cryptocurrencies right after Bitcoin. I believe that its success will be continue.

Congratulations to eth for going through a number of very difficult years and becoming a favorite after bitcoin. The work of the team is very good and all of these things play an important role in the world of Crypto. this is the best thing in eth's role in crypto travel. Success for you is always eth.

I congratulate Vitalik, the guy is a father of a revolution for blockchain 2.0 it is really a great feat. Most other blockchains sprang out of it. Decelopers today build on its foundation. Ethereum has come a long way and it will go far

For sure today is a party day in Russia, Vitalik should be grateful about the success of his coin and the popular that smart contracts become. I say cheers for this coin and let's hope to see the price of this coin going back to $450 just like it was before.

This coin has changed, and my favorite change was how it becomes PoS. Let's see what other surprises it has for us in the future.

I think I'm already starting to invest on bitcoin during those times and wasn't even fully aware of Ethereum because I'm not yet part of the forum.

Wow I didn't know about it and it is true july 30 is ETH's Birthday .
And it is truly amazing and nice job for the team on always making sure that it is working perfectly.
It's been 4 years since it was release so many things happen and it is still standing strong hope that it would continue it's work and stay at the top list .

Happy Birthday Ethereum and the team. First of all thank you to the entire Ethereum team for bringing this amazing project to the crypto space. I am very much interested in ethereum and have much belief in the project since its inception. Although the project faced many ups and downs in its journey, its performance and hard work will ever be remembered.

Although there was a decrease in prices over the past year, I believe that ETH will soon return and be stronger than before because this is one of my favorite coins for long-term investment and if Ethereum has a plan in the near future, this is still the most potential coin in this market. I personally have great confidence in the development team of the project and I will consider investing more if the market has a big improvement in the near future.

I wish I can go back to 2015 when I first noticed the Ethereum in Coinbase. I did not care when the ETH price was 3 USD. Within a very short time, I mean only 4 years, Ethereum is dominating almost 10% of the cryptocurrency market. I hope day by day they will be improving the Ethereum platform and ETH will remain the second cryptocurrency of all time!

Wowww.. Am juts getting to know Eth was birthed in 2015. That has been a really long time. Its been so much of an achievement for the team behind the project and I must say the project is really standing. A little effort should be put though, a little healthy competition to surpass other altcoins.

Ethereum coin has already gone so far by its development. Many ICOs using ethereum as blockchain and ethereum is also doing great on market activity. It started from the bottom just like bitcoin and now it really shine and got popular and ranking the second most volume coin in the market. Ethereum has been 4 years and in that period of time, ethereum has incised many records. Ethereum prices have exceeded $ 1,400 and it started from prices below $ 1 when it was first made 4 years ago. Ethereum has gone far away and moving around in this 4 years of it's suffer. It is a very good coin which has given the investors unexpected of profit during this period In the year of 2017 bull market it has jumped over $1500 and many investors become millionaire by investing a small penny. Read about this news today on Buterins' twitter. It is just unbelievable how far can a coin get in four years. ETH is my favourite altcoin and I with the team all the best and patiently waiting for ETH 2.0 upgrade to boost things up.

A good four years indeed. Now we just have to be patient and wait for the release of Ethereum 2.0 which would fix the currents troubles and disadvantages like inability of staking and scalability. It definitely has a bright future ahead of it.

I didn't even know about it. I need to find a topic where the first report came out about Ethereum. Even nostalgia appeared about those times. I want to believe that all will be well with Ethereum and we will fly to the moon.

Actually didn't know on when ETH did make such initial tx.About their amazing work then theres no doubt that smart contract thing is revolutionary.

This platform is being used by most coins in the market when it comes to ICO.No doubt that this thing is already placed on 2nd place on the entire market.

It is absolutely impossible to represent the world of cryptography without ETH. And it is difficult to imagine how much time would have passed without the intervention of the genius Vitalik so that crowdfunding would become as accessible as now.

And compare technical development of Ethereum and Bitcoin since 2015. Ethereum didn´t have such progress like Bitcoin.

Although I do not remember it, I read today in several places about ETH's birthday. It has already been with us for 4 years, and being the second most powerful money in the market is the manifestation of our thinking. I congratulate devs on this and wish them self-confident steps.

I had the biggest profit in the cryptocurrency market due to ethereum.  I very much hope that we are seeing only the beginning of the successful ethereum path.

ETH is the best altcoin that has ever existed and is very popular I am happy to be part of the ETH holder and continue to invest because it will still aim to go up again, given the 4th anniversary this year, hopefully ETH will quickly merge high.

Next year, when we mark the 5th anniversary of Ethereum, it might be offered for more than 800 dollars per token. I guess, there are several fellows, who invested in ETH when it was 3 dollars only. I joined this forum a year after its launch, but when I come here, there's a lot of buzz about Ethereum and it's creator Vitalik Buterin, unfortunately, I'm not yet good at looking at a good project to invest, and this one escaped my attention, but I'm glad the bear market, brought me a good number of Ethereum and I'm keeping it and on its 4th year wishing it another all-time high.

Ethereum is one of the best cryptocurrency acquisitions to date. Four years ago, many did not believe in him, as they do not believe in most coins now. ETH has conquered its place in the sun, and to our delight does not cease to develop.

The team did an extremely great work but people seemed to give the credit to vitalik at the time. But when he left to join Google team and ETH still remains stronger, it appeared people are already in love with the work we'll done.

Wow, I missed my favorite altcoin birthday, but I'm quite proud of this ethereum which has been the first altcoin for the past 4 years. And also many projects that develop their tokens with dApp services owned by ethereum. I know this is thanks to the efforts and hard work of the ethereum team and of course they are also proud of what they have developed so far. I hope ethereum will remain in its current position and further develop its services.


Well that's how it is, they will believe in a coin when the coin goes up many times over, then they regret it. Certainly also like that now, who knows what coins will be the next ETH2, maybe the coin is being accused here now like ETH before, then they regret it again in the future like its past.

As far as I remember, many did not believe in ETH in 2015. At that time I was not engaged in cryptocurrency, but I am very glad that I am here now and ETH is so good today. I hope that Ethereum is ahead and that the king of altcoins will never leave the market.

The most interesting part would be, how long the price of ETH could be in the second position, it was created because the bitcoin core rejected Vitalik Buterin's proposal to integrate the token system into bitcoin and from what i remember majority of the scam happened in the shape of tokens created in the ETH platform, but i have made my money with ETH and i have no problem if they are used for legit projects and token creation.

I'm so proud eth keeps going, i feel like it's one of the greates alts we have. despite difficult times, eth is capable of performing a big jump.

I have known ETH since 2016, when I had owned more than 1000 ETH and I only sold for 10 USD worth of ETH, lol. I have many difficulties in life. It's been 4 years since the birth of ethereum and accompanied Bitcoin as the crypto favorite of most people. I think a lot of things have been passed by ethereum. There are some who berate, there are some who praise the success of Ethereum. But Ethereum 4th's birthday proves that Ethereum is able to survive as the number two coin of the thousands of coins present.

ETH bringed a new point of view into cryptocurrencies thanks to smart contracts we extend the real use case of the blockchain technology. And I see further progress in decentralized oracles - Chainlink. What else will come in the future?

yep, it is one of the most successful businesses in CMC history. Bitcoin is only driven by sharks, in addition it is not very valuable.
I believe that in the future, with good staff and constantly updating their technology, they will soon replace the No. 1 position of Bitcoin.

Not even ETH can replace Bitcoin or take the position of Bitcoin for n ow because of too many scalability issues for now. So not until that issue have been resolved it can't become the number one in the crypto space...

I'm sure ETH will have a bright future, the presence of ETH brings a new color to crypto, if before the influence of bitcoin is too strong then after the presence of ETH makes investors optimistic that ETH can beat bitcoin, maybe we should be patient to see this.

this means ethereum is 4 years old and has become a very good coin and has a large trading volume, market capitalization and community. the smart contract technology makes the ethereum blockchain network a privilege. and most ICO projects also use the ethereum platform so it's no wonder that ethereum is in second place after bitcoin. and I heard that ethereum will soon release eth version 2.0, hopefully with the release of eth 2.0 will make the price of ethereum increase.

We will see how much eth 2.0 will affect eth. It's the reason why  I'm still holding it and also since it's too late to stop my lose when I decide if I'll sells it. I rely see its importance and usefulness before but there just other alts that can do the transactions better and with lower fees. If Eth 2.0 can solve scalability it will be it's good points to keep going.

We have seen how Ethereum become stable and this has been a favorite token of majority of crypto holders/investors. It plays a big role to most of the project wherein it made their work easily. one of the coins that is very consistent in maintaining its market cap and not losing interest when the market falls. etherum has a good concept in my opinion, its value tends to be stable. only down a few percent, and up a few percent again. even though it has passed, but I also wish you a happy birthday for etherum.

I can't believe it's been so long. Ethereum has done a great job and achieved so much. It is very cool to celebrate the birthday of such good coins. It is necessary that such coins were more and they continued to exist longer.

I missed this birthday. Ethereum is a great coin which it's birthday should not have come without much jubilation from the community. Dogecoin might be a proper meme or community coin but I think Ethereum is larger. If only Vitalik will be more relative with the varsed huge Ethereum community, things would have been a lot easier and better. Don't be too sad, it's your decision because you can't take risks for such coins. even I don't want to buy bitcoin or ethereum, because it's really not liquid and we don't know what the executives are doing with our money. But everything changed when manipulation organizations decided to attack the crypto market and create a giant bubble. It seems we are not so lucky. ;D

so now Ethereum is have 4 years old and so far it has more grown even though the price is still declining together with Bitcoin. this is a special honor from the development team and hopefully Ethereum it can continue to be the best coin in the coming year together with Bitcoin. 8)

Yes, I did not suspect that Ethereum was launched on July 30, 2015. About the whole cryptocurrency, I thought that these were the next tricks of scammers. And I did not believe in this crypto industry. And then only two years passed before this wonderful Ethereum coin began to bring me terrific income. And since then I have been very interested in cryptocurrency. And now I believe that the crypto industry is a great way to invest. And now Ethereum is considered the most promising coin for me.

Wow! Such a great innovation in crypto space that disrupt the entire industry and bring the idea of smart contract into reality. Ethereum is one of the most successful cryptocurrency project and apart from Bitcoin, there is no any other coin that have wider influence like Ethereum.

He's not been active on here for a few years now, he stopped posting before my time. Kind of weird that he's technically only a 'senior' member though. It kind of feels like he should have a special rank, somewhere above 'legendary' !

This is awesome, this forum is the most powerful crypto forum to me when it comes to reviewing projects, seeing good projects to invest and seeing unbiased expert contributions. I wish I knew about this forum earlier than I did, my life would have been much better financially and crypto wise.

I'm glad there are few people still remember the day of ethereum since it was been ignore by many of investors because of its price get dump. Since altcoins follow bitcoin for its price has drop and surely affected for other coins.

in his birthday this time brought bad news about the price of ethereum, which has not been able to rise to show the majority. currently investors are required to be patient longer to see ethereum revive, hopefully the event at the beginning of the year will bring good change

Ethereum was very successful until 2018. Now it cannot be called successful because the team does not manage to realize what they want for the past 2 years. they have problems with scaling and no one knows if they can be solved. In any case, I am glad that they exists and I recommend this project for investment

it helps us forget some time about ethereum prices and focus more on current birthdays, and don't forget if ethereum prices are not good but the technology it has is able to make several projects alive

ETH has probably the strongest use-case in all of crypto. When we talk about crypto having the potential to change the world, smart contracts is a key part of that transformation. I know plenty of people are waiting for ETH to transition to PoS, but for me the implementation of 5G is very important as well, as this should lead to a huge increase in IoT devices, which can talk to each other using ETH as the medium of exchange.

Ethereum has really transformed the entire crypto space. Thanks to Eth blockchain and its smart contracts, many people made their first millions and even billions. It is simply amazing. July 30 should be made an international holiday

Thank you for remembering the history of ETH. At present I think almost all crypto users use ETH. But very few know about when ETH was born. Maybe this reminds us of how the struggle of Ethereum when it was first released, with a very low price to reach the number two coinmarketcap.

There is no doubt that Eth is a good coin and has been able to stand the test of time. Eth is very popular among the crypto enthusiasts.

in my opinion you need to look at the ETH price when it first appeared. don't always look when the price is ETH $ 1k  ::)

Ethereum is not cheap at all but in the beginning, the price was low. It was not that hard to buy ethereum as it is now.  In the realm f altcoins, ethereum is leader in all aspects.  And that and the guy just said that ethereum dumps with time. What I think is, it is not just all other coins that follow bitcoin but ethereum is in this list too. It also highly depends on bitcoin for moving forward and growing.
