TA guys are such a bunch of jobless bullshitters. Every prediction is a fail. Every video is just there to make real money from Google Adsense  ...

The YouTube algorithm rewards click-bait and sensationalist thumbnails. I've seen many crypto influencers begin with a high-minded integrity, saw their numbers stagnate, and within a few months were doing 5 ETH giveaways for those that like/subscribe/comment. 

I really can't blame them, people needs to be cautious of what they watch.

People watch these videos, youtubers thrive.

However, realization do happen to them sooner or later. But then there will be another set of newbies who will fall for this and cycle keeps repeating.

there is a popular saying in stock market circles that says "If stock market experts were so expert, they would be buying stocks, not selling advice." and that statement applies here too. if these random people were really good at analyzing the market and using TA,... to predict the price then they would have never wasted their times creating videos, editing them, publishing,... for small peanuts that they earn from the ads on Youtube.

First, we all know that TA is not a guarantee so why waste your time watching any TA guys in youtube? And I'm sure majority of them are just bullshitters, we even don't know if they really have the skills from experience or just learn TA couple of months ago. LOL. That's why I stay away from them. Don't want to waste my 5-10 minutes watching those crappy advise or tips from a random guy.

Second, they're just posting to earn some moolah, everyone is monetizing in Youtube, from tiktok or reviews or unboxing, whatever you call it.

If you don’t want them to earn money then stop using youtube. TA works but don’t depend on that always because the market are volatile and any news it can affect the price. TA is not just about how you analyze the market, its also good for you to have patience and to invest on a well mannered decision. 

I rarely listen to the advice from some random expert on Youtube, because most of them are just in Bitcoin for the monetization of their videos. Free advice, come at a cost.  ::)

If you really want to educate yourself on Youtube, listen to advice given by Andreas M. Antonopoulos and watch the recorded footage of seminars and talks that he attended.

The rest is just garbage and people trying to make some extra income from the monetization of their online content.  :P

I never watch such prediction and Technical analysis videos as it usually gives a contradictory view to my own understanding of the market!

These youtubers just want to earn money from their videos and that's why they try to create flashy subject lines and attractive video thumbnails! There's nothing wring in earning money, but it is certainly wrong to misguide people. One recent example is below,

First look at the title of the video and then see the content! Just a clickbait!

Youtube is mostly click bait videos that desperate people are making to get ad revenue.  There are very few wholesome people left on that platform because they are all chasing money and will do anything to get more of it.

I ll be completely honest here. In my whole crypto experience which would be about 3-4 years I have never ever seen TA being actually accurate.
I have made some predictions based on TA and I would honestly say that out of all the predictions less than 10% of them were near to my targets.
So I never really bothered about TA and all those jerks giving out signals and stuff. I have just accepted that TA in crypto is similar to gambling.

You know, the only site I've ever actually clicked to get some TA love is right here on BCT. Speculation thread usually. It's usually of better quality than what you get on YouTube anyway, from what I've been forced to see.

TA can be fun, sentiment too, just don't actually TRADE on it!

What do you expect them they were doing that because they just want views and subscribers but the truth is they just don't care whatever their viewer wants. Real traders are too busy to record their self in a vlog that needs a lot of attention and time to bring out the profit of all of your efforts.

Yep it's for monetization that's why I don't watch youtubers that doesn't have some actual basis of what they say and just show charts on what they think where this market is going.

I find it enjoying to watch them but the sense and information that a viewer would want to extract out of their words is lacking. I'll admire those youtubers that are even reminding their viewers that they are not telling a financial advice.

In the end, it's still your choice to watch them or not and following their advice is another thing which I don't do.

Its true that a lot of newbies might fall for it because some of them doesn't have any idea,that is why they need to be aware. I've try it one time because i'm looking for something that can help me, but it doesn't help. It makes me think that they don't even know what they are talking about, i'm concern about some newbies will think about it because some of them are seeking for some information that can help them to grab good opportunities. They are just taking advantage and benefits from people who don't have enough knowledge.

Youtube is mostly a place for entertainment nothing more. the only videos worth watching is the funny ones that are good to waste some time and have a laugh or two. anything else is just misleading specially if it is regarding money (investment, analysis of  the market and trading advice!) and it is coming from some random dude in his parent's basement who has never even made a trade in his life.

I disagree. Most of the time I watch youtube is when watching educational videos to broaden my horizons (Crash Course, Map Men, Vox, Eastory...). I agree that Youtube is not so great with cryptos, though. Even popular channels like Ivan on Tech are actually making videos about Noname companies that pay well to get in there. Still, though, there are some nice general educational videos about blockchain and Bitcoin there. As for technical analysis - well, it's just not a particularly strong and scientific thing in general youtube is not to blame for that.

There are quite informative video's on YouTube, YouTube videos gats more to offer and learn from. Don't just conclude that is misleading people in terms of money. There are genuine videos you can subscribe to and earn money monthly

Technical Analysis is not always right. Relying on Technical Analysis will leave you crying when you lost a huge amount of money. If we are doing some trading the most important part is that we must do our assignment and that is we must do our research. Aside from that we must not rely on technical analysis made by some people but instead we must train ourselves how to read charts and how to connect it with economic news. Also experience is very important in trading. You tube videos are not that worthless since there are many tutorials how to read charts and that how I earn some tricks in trading and I am actually earning though not all the time.

Not everything in bitcoin is real. Also it's just merely a prediction so there's also a higher possibility that it won't happen. You don't trust everything you see in youtube. Also predictions are still predictions that'll only help you on how you will decide or what you predict for the future performance of bitcoin and crypto. There are really nonsense videos in youtube. They're just doing it for money but it's up to you whether you want to believe it or not. It's still up to you, they're just giving prediction.

That's the way they make money, and you know it's a trend on Youtube to get lots of views, subscriptions and comments. I think they fooled you, Why don't you make your own crypto currency study? I'm sure they won't fool you and you'll know if what they're saying is true.

And, don't include it all, there are really lessons to learn such as why and what bitcoin is, What and why bitcoin has fallen and so much more. Not all videos are just for the money and this is what you should appreciate.

That's true in a big part, but there are some good analysts on YouTube that don't make it for money. You've got to learn to make the difference between marketers and youtube guys and real analysts. And more importantly I don't recommend basing your decisions on their analysis. 99.99% are not financial advisors and even if they were they wouldn't offer it for free over youtube - be sure of that. In this case ask yourself why some people would pay for his advice while they can easily get it from yb for free?

They are hardworking people’ because it is an hardworking person that will be able to come up with ideas they can use to make money legally, so you would not call them jobless people, but I understand what you are saying that they are using those videos to just attract people so that they can make money from Google AdSense, which is why I personally prefer to read books on bitcoin and ready post on analysis rather than video.

Ever since people realize that they can monetize their video and earn some cash on YouTube, they will put anything to just attract people to watch their video for the purpose of money which I think bitcoin video will be a very good one for them as many people wants to know lots of things on bitcoin on a daily basis.

Well, it is called prediction for a reason, if they say prediction then it is what there opinion about the price but it doesn't mean it will happen. Mate don't trust all the videos you see because it will only disappoint you, besides, vloggers can earn if they have a lot of viewers or subscribers so they will really make the video title as catchy as people to catch many viewers.

When it says prediction, it doesn't mean that it should always be 100 percent that will going to happen. These prediction should have a basis, such as market analysis and fundamental analysis that might somehow determine what would be the outcome. But if we can see more and more videos and information presenting prediction that are too far to the reality, that shouldn't be considered as market manipulation. We somehow predict because there's a part of it that we wanted people to believe in.

The truth is that the cryptocurrency market is quite unpredictable and there are so many people making predictions that are rarely accurate, therefore, each person must learn to choose projects according to certain parameters and take their own risks.

Exactly, there is nothing permanent in the prediction, it is not that accurate although some experts have their basis on their analysis, still it is not guarantee, it's okay to check experts opinions but don't rely on them 100%, it is very important that you are aware of what is happening in crypto world, and not just checking their chart's analysis.

   While I do some what agree with your opinion about the Youtube social influencers systematically setting up the videos for maximum view count, which usually consists of click-bait screen captions meant to intice emotional sensations or shorts anecdote's to amuse the viewer in Hope's of increasing the profit earned by advertising revenue.
 I don't agree that every influencers has bullshit content or predictions. There are a few channels that offer some tidbits of truth that entertain as well as educate.
  YouTube is flooded with junk, it's gets hard to sort out the good channels from the bad when both use similar tactics for views. My guess is that trying to profit in a heavy competitve market amongst similar content providers must push is rough and pushes alot of these channels to the extreme.

Some Youtube influencers are openly sharing their ideas and predictions about Bitcoin but it still depends if we'll choose to believe them or not. We can't blame those who believe in TA because most traders and investors especially beginners are always seeking advice and guide. However, we all know the market flow and to be honest, no one could really predict the future price accurately so it's for us to deal with the changes. Some people are just using Youtube to earn from their videos so we still have to be careful because they could only deceive us.

They serve a purpose those youtube TA guys. They usually follow the trend and get hyped when everyone is hyped and get sad and bearish when the majority does> When FUD comes they repeat it and when overhyped news do they also spread it. You can feel the mood of the majority by watching them and this gives you a hint how to trade.

When they are overhyped you short or stop trading for a while and when they are overly bearish and act like it's the end of the world you buy.

Most of them came during the bullrun and they enjoy the trend and their predictions look good to viewers, they had no experience that cover 2 or 3 bitcoin cycle. people are burnt and everyone is involved but some people are still riding in good profit even this market condition, so those vloggers are just ignoramus, they had better stay around and learn that posting wrong info. Those analysis in most case takes less than 40% of decision factors of investors
