You can also check newly added coin in Coinpaprika: https://coinpaprika.com/overview/ (scroll down, and you will see the 'Recently Added')

Note: Newest coins added in the market doesn't mean they are newly create coin/project, but most of them are newly created. Because there are some requirements on every exchange before you will get listed.
Or as far as I know even in coinmarketcap.com, there are also some requirements before they will list a coin.

One I use most is CoinGecko.
They also have interesting news reports and dark theme
https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/recently_added

You can also use any of previously mentioned website,
or find some Telegram/Discord groups that notify on every new altcoin release.

My suggestion would be to focus more on Bitcoin BTC,
as 90% of other coins will die sooner or later.

I think this two site are the only official coin site that are different from the various exchanges, most of the exchanges only have coins that are listed on the exchange but coin market cap is known for listing new coins in the market as soon as it get listed on two exchanges.

There are few sites that give newest coins, but honestly I would prefer to stay away from new-born coins. Nowadays, it is very easy for tech-savvy guys to use available source codes and create their new coins. This is the fact, that reflects on total 'old' coins, that sum up to thousands. Most of them are uselsess, no usecases.

If someone are newbies in crypto, they should only choose to invest in bitcoin or expand their portfolios to top altcoins only.
Remember that coins in top on coinmarketcap.com are probably shit coins too.

I don't know anyone knows about the shit coin, namely RET, that boosted weeks ago, and jumped to top 100 on coinmarketcap.com. The algorithm used to rating on coinmarketcap.com has so many drawbacks, and I hope with coming upgrades on rating algorithm, CMC's ranking system will change, and be able to give investors more precisely and neutrally overview on altcoin projects.

There are 3 markets that I often visit besides (CoinMarketCap).

You can see between 1 market that you believe in.
The three markets below are all complete with new incoming data coins.

[1]. Recently Added Coins (https://cryptoslate.com/recently-added-coins/)
[2]. Coins List (https://www.cryptocompare.com/coins/list/USD/1)
[3]. coinexchange (https://www.coinexchange.io/markets)

You can open it whenever you want.
