Coinprism - The first colored coin web wallet (https://www.coinprism.com/)

Colored coins allow you to store assets on the Bitcoin blockchain. There are many interesting applications to colored coin. You could have an IPO on the blockchain by issuing shares as a colored coins, and send them to your shareholders. The shares can then be traded almost instantaneously and for free through the Bitcoin blockchain. You could have smart properties represented by colored coins. You could store your house on the blockchain by issuing a single coin, then the ownership of the house can be transferred with a simple Bitcoin transaction.

Coinprism is similar to other web wallets, in particular Blockchain.info, except you can store, issue, send and receive colored coins and not only normal Bitcoins.

Found a minor bug:
Address should be on a single line (notice the 'C' overflowing) to avoid accidentally sending to the wrong address.

Also when sending btc the balance (on home) only subtracts the tx fee and not the tx amount with it. Send page updates balance accurately but home page does not.


Also are there plans to incorporate 2-FA authentication? It is a must for any online wallet.

i wish for better wallet backups. i love the way blockchain.info backups directly to dropbox or mail.
an indicator that a transaction is on its way to you would be nice too

Looks very nice! I may have found two issue:

I created a new currency and issued some coins. During the "sign transaction" proccess the name of the coin is shown as "Unnamed colored coins", but I'm sure, I defined a ticker and full name: https://i.imgur.com/wGyw9nG.png

With Coinprism for Android, you will be able to store, send and receive colored coins from your mobile device. It is important to note that it doesn’t require any sign-up on Coinprism or any service. The wallet will generate an HD seed as you start it up for the first time. From then on, the key will be stored encrypted on the device.

well for some reason no outgoing payments are being made. They are all bouncing back

BTW it's my first time to use coinprism, since use CSL coin assets ;D it's easy to use, but i doubt about the security, it's important to add some secure way for login right, like 2FA.

2FA is supported through Google Authenticator.


Transactions are very slow to confirm in the past few days because of the attack on the network (https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3ck5z9/80000_unconfirmed_transactions_right_now/). Coinprism will bounce back the transaction after a few hours to let you spend them again with higher fees.

The Android app is unable to show assets that the Coinprism's Explorer is showing and I sent from another implementation.

Also, I'm finding it hard to get the private keys of the Android app using the mnemonics as the BIP32 mnemonic converter doesn't show the address I used to receive in the App.

Is any one else having problems on coinprism? I have been trying to send some lykee coins to my other coinprism wallet with a fee of .00021 and for almost 2 days no luck still unconfirmed.

I first tried to send using .0001 fee and the coins where sent back to my wallet after 36 hours

Maybe the fee is to low for the transaction size but the part that stinks is i cant figure out how big he transaction is in the first place.

Ok so i figured something out.

The account that doesn't confirm transactions the only thing i did to the account was change the password to a more secure one.

So the other account that works fine and the keys are good i tried the same thing i changed my password on coinprism. And now that account wont confirm and the keys are now currupt.

Then i figured maybe i could use my old password before i changed it to get my private keys but that didnt work  :-\

So this must be the issue. When you change ur password. Now if coinprism would answer an email   ;D

We wrote a small recovery tool to solve this issue. See private email. We can redistribute in case this happens in again.
