I was thinking to create an scam accusations topic but since I do not see any scam yet so, I thought to create this in this board to have a reputation investigation for BitReconnect service posted by ShibbyTwoShoes (a newbie without any record)

Anyway, I know there are people who are very good in scam investigations so, I hope some of them may find it interesting to enlighten us.

We all remembered Bitconnect scam. This BitReconnect seems to me a scheme like them with perhaps a new branding. This was my response to their topic:

a brand new P3D called BitReconnect.
The name seems very familiar.

Oh wait! Am I reading it right?

I may need to do some investigations. Hang on with me.

Thanks in advance.

What is the possibility, the new BitREconnect game is launched.
I see a history below, what might be BitREconnect and Bitconnect, the same game.

You can read below that there might be a connection between BitREconnect and Bitconnect.
Quote
BitREconnect is the newest iteration of Bitconnect - it uses a revolutionary time-based buy-in/sell structure that encourages people to HODL. The longer you hold, the lower the fee YOU PAY to exit the contract.

Stay on this anon! This is gonna BLOW UP! Developed by people who have been pissed off at the little care other devs take with the other horrible Bitconnects (bitconnect io and bitconnect-2 namely)

Let’s do this anon

By reason of Bitconnect Game, involved in fraud, maybe creating a new game called, BitREconnect.

So I spent a few days also seeing the Bitconnect Game, involved in fraud.
But I don't care about it, because I don't play with Bitconnect games.

Maybe, at least I can give a little information about your investigation about the BitReconnect game, fraud charges.
Everyone talks about it.
Bitconnect history.

[3]. A brand new Bitconnect that won't end up as a scam (https://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1430851)

Hopefully this can help you.

Another "smart contract money making" scheme.

Quote
A typical P3D structure involves a fixed buy-in and sell percentage paid from investors. With BitReconnect, we utilize a unique time-based sell structure to encourage HOLDING your investment for a period of at least 90 days. This helps to grow the contract as big as possible, and prevents dumping from early buyers. The percentage structure works as so (from your initial investment):

1. Day 1 - Day 30: 50% sell penalty
2. Day 31 - Day 60: 30% sell penalty
3. Day 61- Day 90: 15% sell penalty
4. Day 91 - Day ∞: 0% sell penalty

They just want as much money they can get and this structure will somehow prevent depositors to withdraw funds from scheme. There is no product, money circulates from one depositor to another and at some point there won't be anything to circulate and it will collapse just like all other ponzi schemes.

They don't even seem have any connection with the real Bitconnect team or Carlos Matos, its just some impersonators out there trying for easy bucks by showing themselves related to it.

That is an perfect example of MLM scheme, I don't even known why do they think people would invest in them by looking at there name being connected with one of the biggest crypto scams out there. But it could be as some of the early investors of Bitconnect managed to drive some profits out of it.

By looking at there website there is not much to judge upon, they don't have much info to be investigated upon basically. Still, I think just the name connected with the project makes it a big NO NO from investment point of view, and people should be warned about it. A warning flag would be obvious here IMO.

It does not matter now. Whether it's connected or not, they are here to fool the innocent users.

We do not need much investigation if there is ponzi scheme. All ponzi scheme turned into scam eventually. Some how people's are aware now about what is ponzi scheme and hope they will not fall in that trap expect greedy people's.
