What happened (long story):
It was obvious this guy was a scammer since it was a bought or hacked account last used in 2011 (other than 2 posts in 2017) in so I figured I'd invest $10 (actually $11 inc fees) to prove it (I KNEW I WOULD BE SCAMMED, didn't care) just so I wouldn't feel bad flagging him.  I've done this before just for the entertainment factor. I don't care about the money just want to get him tagged for what he is.  He is also an ALT of MADMANAMAZON aka (banned) YoutubeTV.  Identical M.O. I chose the Kielbasi Kumerov handle on Telegram since I just had Kielbasi for dinner.

I told him I only had $10 to spend. After 2 days of "negotiating" telling me he only had purchase minimum of $35 he finally decided he might as well get what he can and since I was only willing to lose $10 he offered me a $25 Nike card for $10.  All I had in my "spare change" wallet was $11 so I told him that after fees best he could get was around $9.89 and of course he agreed.  Immediately after I told him he gave me his BTC address of 1PmGzhNJoWueprHk1pkCkaZUyDHG8XxQGM it was sent and I provided hash 36d76ba92d370e868a86da6ffb58c713d4c2ff6934b2001bf8083880b5effcc2

Immediately after I told him I sent funds he told me "his partner" no longer had the $25 card and would I accept $50 card (he wanted more money obviously) or he would send me a refund (HAHAHA).

I said send me a refund and at that exact point he deleted the entire telegram chat.  So I went back to him and asked him what happened.  Best I got were the screens that follow.  Of course he claims he never spoke to me and I was chatting with an imposter just like the other guy he claimed was dealing with an imposter in an earlier thread.

Thanks for exposing him. The way he was so defensive of himself in the other scam accusation thread... Anybody would have believed him.

One thing about your flag: since you actually lost money to this person, you could have opened a type 2 or 3 flag - they are more severe and the warning to not deal with this user is more prominent on every thread they open. Up to you if you want to make a new flag or not.

Yea, I realized that last night after I did this one but it says you can't open 2 flags   Not that it really matters because this scumbag will just come back with another name as he has dozens that I have been able to track over the years starting with his "AccountServices2" group when they scammed me for $4 years ago when I first started here. LOL.

What a shame, it seems that this scammer is ready to scam others for one dollar.
I expect he it has hundreds of accounts in this forum.
What do you think of this proposal:
Since this scammer is famous and repeats, one of the account recovery members automatically tracks and blocks all accounts related to his banned IPs, I don't expect he it has enough time and money to buy clean IPs.
I'm sure we'll find hundreds of accounts.

Thanks for using your money to expose this guy.  I really don't understand why these scammers don't just make money the honest way.  With all the time they spend scamming a few crumbs they could have made a lot more doing honest work.

Don't need clean IP's with a VPN besides, by policy, proven scammers are never removed here UNLESS they are an ALT of a banned user.

I'd bet my last dollar that he's an alt of MadmanAmazon AKA (banned) YouTubeTV and probably 90 others.  I have 90% proof now but until I am 100% sure I won't post it but whether he is or is not he is one of the many low-life cockroaches that hang out here.  

He's like a 10yr old kid in 5th grade who stole his friend's baseball and when his friend asks for it back all he can say with a shit faced grin is "NYAH NYAH NYAH NYAH PROVE IT" but never denies stealing it. :D

Sandy sweetheart , I appreciate the effort but why waste 10$ on him ? 10$ for a gift card scammer = mission accomplished, he will stop using this account and go ahead and use another one.

I think it's about time we stop caring too much, we spend a lot of time and efforts trying to clean the digital goods boards, but I don't see any noticeable improvements in terms of scam reduction, maybe it's about time that we should admit to the fact that whoever lacks common sense and falls for these gift card scammers won't even care about any flag or negative feedback, this surely does not mean we should stop fighting them, but definitely not waste precious BTC to expose them.

Can't agree ... never give up.  As many of these folks whose life I can make just a little more difficult is worth the few bucks. If you give in they win. It's personal.  :)
