The same could be said about Buffett... Humans are not perfect and that article only speaks truths

Buffet, O'leary... all of those whales that are incredibly scared of bitcoin and hence can only trash it

As the article says, Kevin O'leary actually holds bitcoin. He just didn't buy in when he had the opportunity to do so at an early stage

Saw that video clip of O'Leary in 2013. I was like wtf? His initial opinion on bitcoin was fairly bullish. Also remember that this was 2013, there was a lot less people bullish on bitcoin at that time. And now in 2019 he's suddenly calling it garbage? I hate to be "that guy", but I'm convinced this dude is actually attempting to decrease public bullishness for personal gain; probably to be able to accumulate more at current prices.

Kevin O'Leary is just a normal human who have huge amount of dollar asset. His decision is just like ours, sometimes good and sometimes bad. But the wrong attitude of Kevin is he did not hold his bitcoin in 2013 and probably sold it all. And on 2017 he bought a huge amount of bitcoin only to find out that it was a hype and a bubble. Kevin up to now have not surely recover his losses and that is why he is now speaking trash against bitcoin.

Kevin is old fashioned guy. But he is a straight forward business man.

I like him. But, I feel he is not good in New technologies.

The other sharks are better suited for this, like Robert.

Thoughts?

He speaks about doing own due diligences is important! That's a very basic truth of investment. Brokers and financial advisors can make your life hell with phone calls and advising stocks and bonds that's gonna fetch you unrealistic returns. But if you do your own due diligences before you leap in, a lot more information will be revealed to you so that you can take informed decision!

It's all same for real world stock market as well as crypto market. Using your own brain has no alternative!

If you watch "Shark Tank" you will understand how these rich people operate. They always want to protect their own ego and do not want to invest in anything if there are not a guaranteed "win" or profit at the end. This is why they structure these deals in their favor from the start.

The entrepreneurs go to these investors looking for financial assistance and some advice and support, but these Sharks are just there to exploit them and to make more money, so they make these ridiculous deals to impress their peers and they brag about it.  ::)

So, you recently saw Mark Cuban talking a lot of crap about Bitcoin and bananas, so it is just natural that Kevin O'Leary would try to emulate what Mark was doing to protect his own ego.  ::)  <They always look at each other, before they make a decision to invest>  ::)
