No one trusts Microsoul keys/address pairs anymore. Any numismatic value in the coin itself? I believe the numismatic value is higher than .01BTC, and agree funding can't be trusted. I'd argue not to peel the coin because it will loose its numismatic value, and you may not ever be able to redeem the value. Super rare and a popular piece of Bitcoin history, despite the funding questions. Have you considered an auction starting at zero? Probably best way to determine market value for this coin. I just peeled 7 coins i got from him last night. 1 out of the 7 didnt even have a piece of paper under it. no key or anything. Of the other 6, how many priv keys had the .01 btc? He didn't look thrilled to meet us, in fact he asked me while shaking his hand if I was going to smash my glass of beer over his head. :D After assuring him I would not, Zepher then told him, "Nah, I know you're not a scammer, you're just fucking incompetent as fuck"... To which he agreed.
