Altcoin needs to posses some amazing features to make them relevant in the Crypto world, alot of altcoins have failed coz they lack some amazing potentials. As an investor, what are the features you look for before investing in an altcoin?

of course i like to invest to an altcoin that run on its own blockchain and have a huge TPS mate
also bring new technology such as sharding  ;)

Utility usage of an altcoin is my main feature to be considered as main consideration before trying to invest in the crypto. I don't need various features of the platform if that has nothing to do with the token. \
The feature that owned by the token is something need to be considered as a special feature caused by this is will create a utility token and it will not be classified as a security token.

I usually invest only in alts with good technology backgrounds and talented leaders.
Investing in such businesses will often bring a lot of money in the future, such as Google, Apple, Alibaba, ...
And I believe that crypto businesses will do the same thing.

Amazing features, working product is not guarantee that altcoin will success in the future. I can said that in mindset as Business Developer in a company. As an investor, i have many rules before put my money inside a project. in simple word here are my rules

1. Features
2. Working product for real use case (I have my own criteria for this)
3. Their roadmap/plan
4. Capable team (It's a must, and i have my own criteria)
5. Business Strategy to achive their goals
6. Sometimes if i really interested with the project, i invest on them and apply as their team.

First of all, I am looking for an opportunity to earn. This requires a serious increase in the price of altcoin. The price increase may be primarily due to increased hype interest in this altcoin. Which can be caused not only by the coin itself, but also by PR, false news and other events not directly related to this altcoin.

In my opinion, the first thing that investors look for before investing in Altcoin is security. Then another feature that is sought in my opinion is sophistication. Of course, the benefits are not forgotten.

Use case primarily. If there is no point to the coin's existence, then there is no need to research further. But if it looks like it could genuinely be useful, then it's time to look into team, roadmap, etc etc. But use case for me is absolutely fundamental. If it doesn't offer something that is needed, and is not already provided by another coin, then there is no point really.

There are many features of Altcoin in operating the exchange system and each has its own advantages, I prefer speed, low cost and of course security.
Bitcoin is an imperfect example because it is expensive and quite long but now features are still being developed for mutual convenience.

To bring something in crypto table that Bitcoin dont have and will not have. that is the only scale you can measure coins.

What we need the most right now is a user-friendly project, almost everything is very hard to understand for non-tech community. We need to do a lot of things such as downloading the wallet from the GitHub or even adding the node if the wallet refuses the connections and the most critical thing is storage resource. None of them out there require a little bit of our storage to run the wallet fully, all of them ask us for at least 1 GB of space to fully sync the wallet. This is ridiculously hard to use and takes a lot of time to sync it from the beginning, we need a fast and light project with a handy installation.

I'm looking for projects that enhances the Bitcoin and Litecoin investors, because they are the kings of crypto, and always will be, for a long long time.
Stakenet is my main bet right now for the reasons stated below:


On-chain, Bitcoin is capped at 7 tx/sec. The more activity the network sees, the slower transactions become.
As it grows in value, fees increase as well.
Lightning allows for a theoretically unlimited number of transactions at near-zero fees, but it has seen stagnant growth because there's little financial incentive for individuals to adopt it on their own.
XSN's solution involves using its decentralized MN network and the collateral locked in them to rout payments, act as watchtowers, and provide a ton of liquidity for transactions.
This will bolster Lightning without centralizing it.

As XSN is inflationary, the supply will slowly increase over time and allow more masternodes to participate.
With this design and approach, BTC will be able to scale and take on much heavier workloads without hitting any major bottlenecks down the road.

Additionally, XSN's masternodes are going to use lightning to restore some of BTC's inherent privacy and anonymity that was compromised by CEXs and KYC.
By embedding TOR into the network and implementing lightning atomic swaps, anyone will be able to instantly and privately swap a wide variety of coins without ever having to send them somewhere that is out of their control. This will greatly minimize the need for businesses that accept crypto to adopt 10 different types of coins as so many of them can be instantly swapped into BTC.
Imagine a standard Bitcoin qt wallet with an extra tab that offers everything that a full scale exchange has and you have the essence of Stakenet.

For me it is the practical compatability of the project that matters the most because without the use cases a new project can struggle to bring customers and business which can lead to bankruptcy and failure.

Altcoin that is relying on their own ecosystem, has future plan to build their own wallet are important for me. Although, some still fail despite having the necessary features

There is nothing as amazing as seeing a coin perform the function for which it has been created. If this is achieved, it will make it to have good value, which also means that there will be price increase and such coin will not be a pump and dump coin. This also shows how serious the team is about the task before them. This will increase the investors' trust and confidence in them.

Scalability and adoption. If there is a coin that is pushing the envelope forward through interoperability features or even making it easier to use for the general public is a worthy project to me. I really like what NULS has been pushing out with their coding modules and even their recent SCO announcement

In reality, they don't really need sort of special nor amazing features. They need a simple thing that many will agree and that is the use case of any altcoin.

Having no use case, those altcoins will serve as trading coins and can't be used for purchasing goods and other stuffs in reality. This is why we have bitcoin and altcoins, to find an alternative payment scheme and many are abusing the production of it thinking that they have to add 'special features' for it.

If chosen the right team, ALT can provide some serious benefits in regards to other comparisons. It uses better tech because of its modern-day innovations. Just be sure to be careful while selecting the coin, with the right team and right background and   your coin is sure to make a huge success.

Futures are a type of contract usually offered for cryptocurrencies that have achieved a significant market share, and are therefore likely free of overt manipulation.

Bitcoin currently has a realized market cap of over 90% of the market, hence why some exchanges offer Bitcoin futures. I wouldn't want to invest in an altcoin future where a single huge dump could adversely affect, or possible destroy the entire market.

Stick with Bitcoin binary options, they are the simplest way to profit.

Altcoins have many feature. First of all the holding of the altcoins that are top rated fell you a true democracy where the concept of the decentralization merged. You can transact the altcoins immediately and every transaction is verified on the blockchain in a decentralized and anonymously. You can track all your record from the block explorer but without the reach of exact sender and the receiver. Within a minute you can send your money around the world.

of course I will look for altc that are good in their development and price. a good development team and can find solutions to any problems that crypto will be developing. because I'm sure behind the success of a crypto there is a good development team too. the purpose for which crypto is launched is also a factor in whether or not a crypto is launched. that's the criteria that will make me give my money to invest in a crypto.

Alt coins have some amazing feature like it’s utility. You can invest in many coins that have the chances of growth in the future like the big BTC has grown in the past 10 years. Every coin has the potential to grow, and if chosen right, the ALTs will prove their worth.
