Title: In the end, the developer who made the token becomes junk!
Post by: Cekerula on August 21, 2019, 06:14:27 PM
now prize hunters face a harsh reality .. that most projects end in fraud and some of them might make a profit but not big, on the other hand the bounty hunter must also be patient to wait for their tokens to be listed on the exchange or at least have a sale value in the market ...
but seeing the unstable market situation, it is also very risky for new tokens generated from the project. Why?
because it all depends on the project developer !!!
I see that many developers no longer care about their project work map and if the developer cannot run their project correctly, the token will become junk !!!

That's correct, the project depend on the project developer, if project developer leave his works so the price will decrease. That's why crypto developer must provide github source code, if the project leaved atleast source code still in github. There are many reasons for developer to leave their project such as they think their coin is not profitable anymore, or their income not suitable with expense.

I also saw good project or platform become scam/failed although they have lot of funding, it because their money management is really bad. Sometime i just aks with my self, how to detect person with "Bad money management", "Bad attitude" more early, so i will not lose my crypto.

The main problem is because the team members dont have enough experience to handle the project. In paper its easy to tell that after six months or one year the project will be profitable. But in reality is not that. For a business to be profitable it will take minimum 3 years or more than that and marketing is really important. Most of the ICO team loose hope after running the project for one year and they dump it. Thats the reality.

Hosting and running a project is not an easy task ! Majority of people just dive into it and when they see what the tasks are then they back out and exit scam ! This is why there are so many project without any use ! So not everyone is worthy to be called a developer !

Actually like that, many developers leave their projects and don't care anymore, but they certainly have different reasons. such as project funding does not reach the minimum target or the project they are running has no hope so they prefer to leave rather than stick with the project they have run themselves.

You know why? because most of the developers of these projects were paid. They really don't care about the progress of the project and you can see that on the mid-run of their project. Once you have take notice of that and you are an investor of that token, I think you'll feel odd already and would start the need of dumping those tokens. It's the reason if you want to invest into a new altcoin, you must study it very well otherwise invest to known altcoins.

if the minimum funding is not reached we can understand that, what about projects that get a lot of funds but are still slow in development, even though I know they are collecting 98% of funds from hardcap. they only have promises but can't fulfill, in my opinion they are slow because the team is not professional, is that what is called a reasonable reason? I will not mention the project

Title: Re: In the end, the developer who made the token becomes junk!
Post by: Kemangi on August 22, 2019, 08:45:39 AM
why did that happen? because they are evil rats. they only care about money and they don't care about what they have produced. The developer's reputation and team background are the key to it all, if the developer has a positive attitude and the team has a good background, the project can certainly run well. in this case we have witnessed many project failures and it was caused by a bad management team, they also did not have a good background. I often see projects that are not useful, they copy back the previous project and only replace it with a few new white sheets and change the copy of the text again. and that is what you need to be aware of before you join the project, most new users like me are easily fooled by it and therefore you must be very careful before making this decision.

Title: Re: In the end, the developer who made the token becomes junk!
Post by: eternalgloom on August 22, 2019, 09:17:36 AM
That's because the developers are not really invested in the project, they're just receiving a paycheck for their work.
If the project doesn't receive enough funding, devs don't get paid and development will stall eventually.

This is the main reason why it's so risky to invest in projects where the devs do not have anything to say about the token's management.

yes it is true that team or developer experience is an important role in the project industry. if the project is managed by an experienced team and developer I think the project will continue to run smoothly. the problem is that if the project has a real product but the team cannot manage it well, it certainly won't produce good results.

the problem is that when the coins that we earned in the bounty campaign get listed on the exchange, they fall in price and 10-20 times and the tokens that we earned in a few months cost $ 10. it's all terrible

Basically, project developers also don't want their tokens to be junk, just because their ability to develop projects has diminished, so they prefer to leave the project rather than continuing it.

The thing about this is that, we can't have a good project and a bad team to run it, such project is doomed for failure. Rather, a good team can try to savage a fairly bad or absolutely bad project. So, project developers should try and put a good team in for a project they push out.

Thats correct, its all depend on the work and focus on the developer itself, but regardless of that, community support is still an important matter with regards to the success of the tokens or coins, we want a type of developers where they dedicate their life to the project, i mean making the best for all involved specially the investors, some projects were dead this time and they run of their responsibilities and this is insane because people are investing in it, i hope that nowadays they could be responsible enough.

Indeed!
Many times projects loose what their actual goal is. In one of the project I participated, they were on a platform which was very rare in the market and thus project got difficulty to list on exchanges. Later when they realized it, token was swapped to erc-20 platform.
It is the developer who should consider all technical aspect.
On the other side, many projects are not getting enough funds raised which are required to complete the development as per the road map.

on the other hand the bounty hunter must also be patient to wait for their tokens to be listed on the exchange or at least have a sale value in the market ...

this is actually the only reason why when they changed C to E (ICO to IEO) they gained a moderate popularity for a short time. it was because everyone had a place to dump their junk tokens before they even started. but since they are junk, they got dumped but this time a lot faster and harder because everyone had a quick place to dump.

What you say is all true. That's the way it is now. I have waited so many projects to be registered in the bourse, but most of them have no updates at all about it and there are even projects that have long disappeared.

We have too many developers that have zero experience about making projects successful and mostly all they care about is making money through crypto.

Its true that we have to hold many coins and tokens for long and many projects got abandoned through the waiting process but all i do is make sure that the waiting is worth it,my advice is to hold very good projects and even if the development is very slow their time will come sooner or later.

I agree with you that developers who control the projects they make, many projects use the erc20 platform but do not produce good results, from 2018 to 2019, maybe hundreds or thousands of new tokens do not have further price developments and some even die. and that's because the developer can't develop it properly

That is why bounty hunting are no longer profitable. This has been proven already because most of the projects takes time before it gets listed and before you know it, massive dump happen. So if you are late, then you will get any profit from the hard work you have done in the last six months or so + the waiting time to get it listed on an exchange.

They really have the responsibility, after all they are the people behind. So success depends on how they are willing to sacrifice time and money and effort. If they see that the project is going nowhere, then there will be no updates on their github and the project will just die a natural death.

Greed of money is the primary cause why these project will ended up nothing, Because most of ICO projects are not truly founded by the experts of such field that they want to establish or to disrupt the existing services to fix something, as we see it today its very common that the so called team are just only source from nowhere just to show that the team is complete and after that nothing will follow, its just after the money raise from ICO so technically the tokens are worthless.

There will still come a time all weak coins and tokens will be dealt with and coinmarketcap will be free of many useless tokens but for now its investors duty to rely more on their research before investing in any project, the truth is many new projects are been created for pump and dump, fraud and scams, its one of the reasons i think regulations is the answer

^ Aside from that if the project has no real concept and no use by the community or even the investors. They are just creating a project because they want their own profit after crowdfunding done. From the start, the dev did not intend to have progress on their project as long as they can be earned a profit they will junk or also known as an exit scam.

their initial plan was like that, developers who are not serious about developing their projects certainly don't care about anything and all they care about is investor money and then taking it, blokchain technology is getting more advanced and scamers can easily make tokens through platforms to fool investors including us. I'm just saying about developers who don't have experience in this field.

yes most of the tokens generated from the ERC20 platform when entering the market go down prices are very sharp and don't match the prices on their road maps. this happens because the market situation has not improved, ethereum prices are still at low prices and also many cases of project fraud. before joining the project, first make sure what products they make, team clarity, and of course all the content in their project.

Good new projects are also many, but the developers need a lot of time to run their ideas according to the road map, scam and fraud projects are detrimental to investors, but before we join and invest, make sure we see they have real team members and office addresses.

Since new projects takes lot of time to get into exchanges for trading its better to promote projects that have been around for awhile and already trading on exchanges but bounties for old projects are not common,i actually like promoting new projects and im already used to the long term waiting but its a shame that after holding for too long and the token get listed finally it got dumped so fast

Many things affect why so many projects fail. therefore a big challenge if indeed we want to invest. where we have to check many key aspects such as the development of the project and also the volume of trade so that it does not become a garbage token that has no value
I think some of the reasons that caused the project to fail were because the team could not run the project well, usually if the product they offered was of high quality it would certainly attract the attention of investors plus if the team's background had a good reputation the project would automatically attract many new investors.

Unfortunately it is impossible to track people who cannot do the right things with huge sums that were collected during their token sale. It is just unpredictable and no one can guarantee that project would be successful, even with 100 million dollars collected.

yeah right the developer is the main reason why the project cannot survive. if they are serious about developing a platform, that will never happen. we take the example of BNB tokens, everyone knows a while ago this token was very low. but because they have professional developers they can put their token prices back on. this is proof that if a serious developer works, the project will definitely have a future.

sometimes new tokens startle and even vice versa. they can't be predicted correctly, but what causes tokens to become junk is because they don't have users or nobody trades them and that's because the team can't offer their tokens correctly.

I stopped understanding the logic of most people who create their projects. they absolutely do not care that the price of their token drops a huge number of times after listing on the exchange. they think this is a normal situation and do nothing to fix it
The very problem of every developers who doesn't get any supports from the market after being listed to exchange most of them stop working and allow the flow to run by it's own, whatever the traders chooses the path the team will just ignore it even it being dumped completely, the team who's really
concern about the success of their projects have many alternatives and will continue to workout even in the bearish conditions, there's should be no
stopping until they provide the very use of the project and not to turned being a pumped and dumped project.

Of course. So it was, is and will be. The direction of the project development and the effective use of funds collected as a result of the ICO almost entirely depends on the team of developers of this project. Many of them do not have the appropriate experience, and because of their mistakes, they often actually destroy their own project, no matter how promising it is. The very idea and the money raised for the successful work of the project is not enough. Still need to properly dispose of the collected funds.
Therefore, even many good projects eventually become inoperative and are credited to fraudulent ones.

It really depends on the developer, this is the reason why the reputation of the developer should be one of the factors, his last project, who he is and the composition of the team that he builds.
There are so many fake and photoshopped personality being included to the team composition, they make up the expertise and the credentials.
We're lucky that we have good members of the community, who are doing extensive research on every project that does ICO

In today's realities, the project will not be able to enter the stock exchange and feel good there if it does not receive various financial flows. This must be concerned about the investors and the developers. Most often, little-known coins use the help of large financial investment centers. But before achieving this support, the organizers of the ico are obliged to interest the management of this financial center - this is often impossible.

Developers never cared about anything but money. The situation with the fact that in a project that has absolutely nothing but beautifully framed sites and pieces of paper carry a large amount of money has spoiled many people. Developers of new projects see that previous projects have collected a lot of money and do nothing and they understand why to do something if you can get a lot of money.
This is the main problem of investing in the crypto market. Because of this, investors lose their money, and bounty hunters spend time empty and do not receive their rewards.

I believe that everything should happen exactly like you said.  The fact is that if investors and developers in tandem contribute to the development of their project, then it will be easier to solve all sorts of problems with access to the exchange.  If the team and investors work on the project, then this already excludes the possibility of fraud or theft funds.

You talk about the shitcoins which has no meaning of existence except feeding pump&dump traders. Running a quality project have several steps and only some project achieve this level of popularity by the investors.  The devs have a plan, roadmap, whitepaper of the project, if they don't care about the development process of their own project, comparing their project to similar projects is useless.

That's right. If the team continues to work on the project, their token will be in demand. If not, then the result will be appropriate. But if the developers are focused on achieving the goals and fulfill the points prescribed in the roadmap, then in the future their token will still be in demand. Not everyone takes the time to maintain a stable value of the coin, but we cant say that this is bad.

But that is an ideal scenario and the actual reality is that most of the devs are only for get-rich-quick scheme. So they don't even bother if they can continue their development or not. After getting their share, they are practically not active anymore. They have no motivation to proceed because they got their money already. This is the sad truth in most projects and too difficult to change such situation.

New projects introduced in the world of cryptocurrency are just junks in the first place and that is why no matter what the team of developers can be doing on the project the tokens will never have real value at all and if they do many of them will not last that long...almost all will eventually wither under the light of the sun when they are exposed. Majority of these projects are just here for the sake of making the team get richer by the day...nothing more nothing less. Consequently, when things can get rough, they can do the exit scam dance to the detriment of all the tokens buyers who believe and supported them. Sadly, this whole charade can continue forever as there is no way to screen these projects and stop scams from being introduced and to victimized many people.

now prize hunters face a harsh reality .. that most projects end in fraud and some of them might make a profit but not big, on the other hand the bounty hunter must also be patient to wait for their tokens to be listed on the exchange or at least have a sale value in the market ...
but seeing the unstable market situation, it is also very risky for new tokens generated from the project. Why?
because it all depends on the project developer !!!
I see that many developers no longer care about their project work map and if the developer cannot run their project correctly, the token will become junk !!!

That is what happens with the project if the teams are not serious about working for their project. They will leave the project and leave the investor, and the bounty hunters will be desperate without coming back to the project again. The developers need to have a clear vision about what will they give to the people if the project can succeed in the future. We see many new projects have this experience, and they cannot continue the project because they think that now is not worth to continue. They need to get out of the cryptocurrency, but they need to come back to the project, work with the project again, make sure their plan can run well. But if not, then the project and the token will become junk.

That's mechanism worked even when the first ICO was created, the performance of token depends on the developer who can create a platform that use that token as its utility usage or bring it the usefulness. The developer is a party who can determine the future of the platform and the token.
Did you think when the market becomes stable and that will give more advantage to the token and decrease the risk? it's not.
Stable or unstable market gives nothing to the token that has been generated by the project because the investors will try to buy something that can give them benefits.

Altcoin which sells tokens or ICO must depend on the developer team. If the team leaves the project, the price of the token will fall and the project cannot proceed. Not only is the bounty hunter disadvantaged, but investors are also disadvantaged. But not all altcoins are like that because there are still many altcoins that are always developing their products, we can see it in the top 50 on coinmarketcap

yes, in general it is one bad developer who does not have enough knowledge about how to develop their project so it does not fit the project road map, but developers who have a positive and serious background in developing their projects will definitely produce good projects,

Yes, right. yesterday my friend was tricked by the bounty program provider twice. programs that have long been followed and promoted end up being scam programs. most of these programs fail because their project money is taken away by the project development team. and when asked how it went the team just said they could not give the promised prize. so for friends who are formatted you should be careful when choosing to join the bounty program, because most development teams just want to get rich quickly without paying attention to other people they harm. sometimes there are also successful programs, but after distribution it turns out that tokens have no price when marketed. yes, that's how the bounty program today is not like the bounty program in the past, most of which are only promises without certainty.

What we can do now just tell people around you stop investing money into the unknown project...

If you want not to fall into the paw of scammers - do not participate in the promotion of projects that have just appeared and which do not yet have their own token, which is placed and traded on one or several exchanges. Then you will be sure that you can sell your rewards at a good price and spend money.

What you have said has become a reality now, that indeed we have to admit that many projects have stopped in the middle of the road or have been forced to continue by adding longer ico time, but that sometimes also does not produce what is expected. not a few who force themselves when there is already in the market the price obtained is far below the price of ico, even true you say, instead becomes a junk coin. but we must be sure, there will be a time when crypto is excited again.

In my own knowledge and idea, almost majority of the developers doesn't care about the feelings of their community, whether they are the supporters of the project, investors or bounty hunters. All they concerns only is the profit of how much they can collect when the project is running. So, therefore that developer was a type of greedy people and selfish.

Some developers are pathological liars, they write on whitepaper how they are going to build houses in the sky without any foundation using the blockchain technology, and at the end, they don't get to even lift a tip of sound after collecting public fund. Sincerity with handwork will always deliver gold, albeit with patience.

Currently, there is such a situation with bounty campaigns of new projects, which is associated with the fact that among new projects there are more and more scammers and less and less good projects. Fraudsters have learned to qualitatively imitate vigorous activity, hold meetings, publish news on social networks. And as soon as ICO or IEO ends, the developers disappear and everyone is left without money starting from investors to bounty hunters.

It's true that about 70% of crypto projects do not follow their roadmap, that's the sad reality. Many developers are just concerned on cashing out funds, and not actually the project development. Well, there are still few projects which focus on project development and follow their roadmap, this at least gives hope to the crypto community. Without devotion and hardwork by the team, the coin won't have value in the long run.

A lot of unprofessional project teams get fed up with the projects they are running. Particular when they are faced with challenges that they cannot cope with and that their knowledge is not able to curtail.

It is therefore very essential to work with the right set of people.

Supposedly, they should never run such a project if they never know how to solve any problem that will come out after. That's their obligation to secure their project and not just to look for easy money coming from the investors and leave them after they got the money. That is the common problem we face now with ICO and that will stand not to believe them.

It is because of the team members not understanding the gig completely; it may be because of the manager not managing things ultimately, or maybe the project didn’t turn out profitable enough, and the manager decides to abandon the coin. Many good projects and teams also turn out to be scams. I guess it is just the nature of this business.

Many projects also fail because the developer team does not focus on the product or sometimes work on new projects. There are many reasons the developer team leaves the project but the most disadvantaged in this case is the investor.

Team that doesnt abandon their project is really a good sign that the team behind is indeed serious to their creation but there are inevitable instances where no matter how hard they do strive on building up their project they do still failed up in the end which leads on surrendering rather than striving.
Success will also vary on its community support because even how you do hard work in related to your creation if the public doesnt able to see the usefulness or relevance of your project you will definitely fail sooner or later.I can say these things yet im basing this with my experience after all these years about projects which ends up on the same fate but somehow we can differentiate the success chance of a team that trying out their best compared to those teams that doesnt care at all on the very beginning.

An an investor, you do not need to invest in a project with clear vision or clear understanding of what is bring done. The sane thing also applies to a bounty hinter. You ought to have known that not every project in the crypto space will end up well. Some eventually become junk even in a short while, some may last for two to three years and for most, the maximum you will see is five years, except for few ones.

A developer that does not care about his project is only here to scam people. This is why thorough research is very important. This is also one of the reasons some people do not trust new projects.
If you are still very much interested in them, all you need to do is to do your research before taking any step.

yes many projects end in fraud and i think this is a common thing that often happens in this industry. therefore, before you or anyone, it's important to research the project they want to participate in. the project can be managed well if the developer and team have expertise in managing it and that will affect the future of the project.

You are right, but however I think it takes a good team with adequate knowledge and experience to run a project anything short than this always ends up as junk. This is true, because depsite the market situation there are new projects coming up and having good public sale while continuing developing their platform while there are those that finds it hard having a good public sale and of course ends up as a failure, so I think the success of any project depends on the team.

The price of the token is not on the hand of developers, but they can rise their token value by keep developing their project.
If nothing making some progress in the project, then the price of their coin will going down because many of their investors lost faith to their project.

In general, a good project is a project that can be developed by experienced developers. if the developer has a good reputation in managing the project, of course many investors believe that. if what you mean is about a good developer of course they will not leave the project they have launched, but a different story if the developer decides about delaying the continuation of the campaign.

Developing a project or a new blockchain or even, doing a new platform isn't easy task. If the developer is too lousy regarding its creation then the project could possibly failed. Why do you think that many projects out there loses value? Lots of factors are there to consider with, and we shouldn't blame it all to the developer. Actually they are the technical support for this, what can they do if the budget for the project for example is short. See? The blame should be eat by the team not just the developer.
It's a team effort that always counts. If they've got real out views regarding to the potential success of the projects even they've got small amount of funds, they will find ways to make things right. It's not always the case as even they've tried the very best that they can, it's still how the end-users will come and support the project.

The market acceptance still have the big factors when the things start being offered around, but it's still a big part once developers screw things up.

Token could actually become "junk" without being scam, even if the developers are great and following the Roadmap. The main cause of extremely low price is lack of demand for a coin. So it should not surprise anyone if a coin is very low in price but a good project with great developers who are working constantly behind the scenes to deliver on their promises.

Sometime i just aks with my self, how to detect person with "Bad money management", "Bad attitude" more early, so i will not lose my crypto.
if we want to be more thorough, we can see the track record of the team that manages project management. both in finance and in managing the running of the project. indeed, what worries the most is not a failed project, but poor team management makes the project look very bad in the eyes of investors or participants, for reasons one of which is the team that runs away, or runs off with the money.

Teams and developers should work hard to develop projects. However, when they are difficult to get investors, teams and developers will probably leave. This makes the project trash and many people will be harmed.

The project selection is very important and should not be shaken with big results. Teams and developers should have experience and they should be transparent. We have a grip that is the roadmap of the project and should they run the project must match the roadmap.

Not all project mate, if you go and do a deep research about new projects now you can see a more deserving project to invest for. If the developer doesn’t care at all then don’t invest but its hard to notice that during their ICO/IEO you must be a good detective. If in doubt, buy bitcoin that’s the best thing to do.

Now the situation is really that holding earned tokens is not entirely profitable, since in the end you can no longer sell them. Most of the projects do not really develop and as a result they simply fade out, and their tokens depreciate. I believe that now you need to keep tokens only for proven and promising projects, everything else is better to sell and at least earn something.

I cannot get why people are blaming developers, they have nothing to do with it. The whole responsibility has marketing and management team, because in the most cases, their decisions are leading to a significant price decrease.
