Title: Best Exchanges to Get a new coin listed on
Post by: terryp90 on September 04, 2019, 04:03:59 AM
There is  a new coin that I am hoping to get listed on a few exchanges, I have a couple of ideas that I am hoping will work. As a new coin that is not on any exchange what are the best exchanges to get listed on first time. There will be no ICO or IEO I just want to do things differently and hope what this coin is offering something that people will be interested in.

1. What are the best places where I can get the coin listed for the first time?

2. What are the most read crypto blogs?

1. If you can make it to Binance, OKEX, Huobi, Gate, or something similar, then it's great. Their pumping machine will help your coins/tokens to get some attention (possibly with payment upfront though).

2. I doubt blogs are the primary media that people use. Most of the time, they use Telegram channel to know the latest information, such as ICOdrops, Top7ICO, Cryptodiffer, or something similar. Why are you looking for blogs anyway?

Cryptocurrency Exchanges that have at least 200 coins listed including their volume in the last 24 hour. All of these numbers are from coingecko (https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges).

|Exchange|Volume|Total coins|
|Crex|$2.8m|528|
|Coinexchange|$200k|490|
|Yobit|$27m|419|
|HitBTC|$200k|490|
|Hotbit|$99m|364|
|Idex|$595k|326|
|LiveCoin|$24m|315|
|LATOKEN|$38m|265|
|STEX|$200k|490|
|Crypto Bridge|$6m|257|
|Bittrex|$26m|248|
|Mercatox|$13m|231|
|Huobi|$200m|221|
|Nova|$4k|210|
|KuCoin|$200k|207|
|Upbit|$58m|204|

Some of the most popular blogs that popped up after searching are coindesk, ccn, cointelegraph but I agree with joniboni it's not the best way to promote your own coin imo.

Hello, First I just want to know if how much the fund budget and allocated on your project in listing on an exchange.
I may suggest to listing in a good and reputable exchange for a better outcome and of course the volume as well.

This determine greatly on the budget allocated for listing. For you to be on top exchanges with good user's base, your project must be unique and solving real problem couple with the fund they will required for your project to get listed. Most exchanges are vision killer, they are shady and if any reputable project is listed their, your token will worth nothing in a matter of weeks. So, look for an exchange with good volume without faking it, large userebase, their security compliance etc.

If your project is potential and related things with your project potential enough like team then your coin might get listed on exchange. But I have doubt they will list without community. At least you should build a community otherwise it would works like IEO. However, some exchange will add your coin if you like to pay high. Otherwise likely you will not able to get listed on reputed exchange. Actually depend on your budget for listing. If you can spend then your coin would become popular.

There will be no ICO or IEO I just want to do things differently and hope what this coin is offering something that people will be interested in.

last year you created this exchange:

https://easycrypto.info ( no longer works )

[ANN] EasyCrypto.info instant, low slippage exchange. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4917730.msg44271674#msg44271674)

I hope this time you create something good and stay long

1. What are the best places where I can get the coin listed for the first time?

you should focus on creating a good ANN Thread and having a big solid community, then you can worry about exchanges

2. What are the most read crypto blogs?

I read more cointelegraph and coindesk

I think they can promote some altcoin, but is as I said before, first worry about creating a good ANN Thread and have a big solid community

1. What are the best places where I can get the coin listed for the first time?

That depends on your budget* and what kind of coin is that.

How much we are talking here? First of all, since you are looking for "the best" your choices will only between those tops (for let's say the top 1-10 in volume ranking). For that, contact their support about listing to give you accurate details on pricing since reading other references about pricing on other sites might give you an expectation.

2. What are the most read crypto blogs?

For marketing and advertisement purposes?

1. If there's a way to push yourself to list it on the top exchanges then do it but if there's none and you are lack of budget, you need to reconsider that before deciding if you are okay to list that to small volume exchanges.

2. To advertise your project with the popular blogs or crypto related news websites, it will cost you money. Start a campaign and hire a professional and reputed manager.

Slow death have already mentioned here about your last project and currently its not existing. So obviously you have learned that its not an easy task to be successful without proper marketing plan. Without having strong background its quite difficult to gain attention from investors or creating the community. Yeah its true that some exchanges will list your project just for getting fees from your side but i am pretty much sure that is not gonna make any difference.

Your last project ANN on this forum wasn't good enough IMO and that's why you have got only one replies there. I hope before proceeding for another project you will take your time to study a lot about ideal project background, marketing plan, investors demand, creating community, necessity of your project and many more things which actually works behind a successful crypto project. After implementing all these you could proceed for exchange listing or press releases for your coin.

Obviously, if you wanted your coin to gain traction from the community without ICO or IEO it should be listed on top exchanges with large volume and liquidity such as Binance. However, they are very strict on requirements so just take that into consideration specially if you're saying that no ICO or IEO would happen.

2. What are the most read crypto blogs?

Crypto blogs or crypto related websites? @hugeblack already provided some. But if you wanted to put advertisement, why not coinmarketcap? It's the most visited crypto related website as far as I know because everyone wanted to take a quick glance at the price. And having your banner there could be a good thing to do so that you can get maximum exposure.

despite what others said, i say it doesn't depend on your budget. the only important thing is the coin itself and you (as the creator and developer) should not even concern yourself with your coin being listed on an exchange.
of course that is only in case you want to create something decent! a decent coin will be listed on exchanges itself. in fact exchanges should beg developers to let them list their coin on their platform not the other way around.
otherwise if you plan on creating the same shitcoin that gets pumped and want it listed on an exchange so you could dump your premine coins then you'll have to have a budget.

Exchanges with high volumes are good place to list your token but big exchanges comes with lot of criteria to meet if they want to exchange your coin so make sure that you satisfied all these before going for the exchange.

In the recent times IEO becomes the trend so if you have enough funds to promote your project with exchange then it will make you work more easier.

It will vary on your budget because majority of top tier exchangers do have that significant listing fees but somehow there are some like Binance doesnt require but to expect,
pre-requirements wont really be that simple so as a new project or joiner on this vast cryptospace you will initially consider out on taking small steps with small exchangers for it to be listed.

1. Least popular exchange but dont expect it will give out significant support from traders.

2. This forum is the best place imho- same as mentioned above.
