Bitcoin has taken over the cryptocurrency market. It’s the largest and most well-known digital currency today. Many large companies are accepting Bitcoin as a legitimate source of funds. That is why I  created an epic list of companies where you can spend your Bitcoins.

I think this will be useful for everyone.

You can add Burger king (Germany), they started accepting bitcoin a couple of days ago (for online delivery (https://www.bklieferservice.de/)). Both Microsoft  (https://cointelegraph.com/news/microsoft-removes-bitcoin-as-payment-option-for-microsoft-store)and Expedia  (https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/8u65k5/expediacom_no_longer_accepts_bitcoin/)stopped accepting Bitcoin last year so I suggest removing them.

Also, there are a lot of services, so that makes it very hard to browse. I suggest making a table or at least put the services into categories like flights, gambling, shopping, etc.

For the first time, some news are actually better than the crappy titles.

I was curious about it so it's not actually only Burgerking accepting bitcoin, but the services that makes home deliveries for them.

So, if you chose thier food delivery service you can pay with bitcoin for all the restaurant they have in their system including McDonalds Subway or Domino and a thousand others. If only Ubereats would follow...

You can't claim BMW accepts bitcoin when we talk about 1 in a thousand UK dealer doing so.

Good to see a detailed list of leading global companies that have begun to accept bitcoin. Going through the list one can now live spending only bitcoin, if he resides in the western part of the world. The term cryptocurrency is very new to many countries, hope these increasing acceptance from global firms will help in reaching all levels of people around the world and start using it for good.

Well, good to know by your dropping a link here that contains 150 companies that accept bitcoin as a payment and it is globally. These may lead to bitcoin expand the adoption and expose to people who don't know bitcoin. Indeed, that is proven now that bitcoin is accepted as payment in companies globally and not only in the dark web which is giving a bad impression to others. OP, you need to fix the title on this thread.

This is a very good thread. An eye opening to where you can stay and spend your bitcoin. It is going to be like a tourist attraction for the host country because they are sure to buy what they want.

It is not a full list but it is a good one. I mean there is a lot listed out there that I did not expect to be there. Trials will be later on.

If you do, it will be better to keep it updated. People right now keeps on looking something like that with google and with just the right title and the right keywords, it could get one of the top click counts. And that will be all better for more advertisements.  ;D

If I read this article looks great company can accept Bitcoin. This is proof that Bitcoin's development continues to run and this large company knows that Bitcoin provides a huge advantage. I am personally proud that companies like Rakuten, BMW, and Microsoft can accept Bitcoin.

I do Bitcoin trading, but I don't use it to buy stuff. But from Bitcoin, I made money go to buy stuff. In my country, there are not many companies that accept Bitcoin.

It's great to see that many companies now accept Bitcoin as payment and am sure there are still many others out there that hasn't gotten to your list yet and many more that will still accept Bitcoin later on.

I like the complete list it is too helpful if someone wants to find a product that they want by paying only with Bitcoin. Good you're sharing such things with everyone. It helps everyone to track where he can utilize Bitcoin. Anyway after the 2017 bull run, some merchants and companies also withdrew from Bitcoin services so we should be careful when using them. I mean, a scameercan impersonate and take your money away.

Well, this list can never be exhausted as there are other merchants that are accepting Bitcoin which is not known publicly but we need to start from somewhere. It could have been better if you call allow merchant to add their services if they are accepting any digital currency as mode of payment not only Bitcoin alone.

That is a big list, never knew so many companies have already started accepting Bitcoin. Good to see some big names in the list. Expecting much more big companies to join the list in the future.

Did read a few comments where they gave names of a few more companies accepting Bitcoin. I cannot call this as adoption, it is more like acceptance to adoption. It can be called Adoption when a few of these companies actually disclose the amount of transactions that were done using Bitcoin.

Why don't we just keep it until it's really worth it, I think you'll have a ton of wealth in a few years if you're patient. If you want you can still use them through some apps. Bitcoin payment allowed

Nice list, there are a lot of big companies in the list, I'm more familiar on overstock, microsoft and AT&T and I didn't know there's more big companies that are already accepting bitcoin. I know the list will just keep growing and growing in the long run, I hope you will be able to update it even in just a quarterly basis, that would be very helpful so we can get a timely data on the improvement of BTC as a payment system.

Most of the companies in this list are related to the cryptocurrency industry anyway,so I don't think it's a legit list.I've never heard about 90% of the companies on the list,which means that they aren't that popular.
G2A is well known for scamming people and selling used game keys.Wikipedia isn't a company.It's a non-profit organization.Anyway,the creator of the list could do a better job.

^ Nice list OP, when I was checking the site I never know that there are a lot more companies who accept Bitcoin as a payment.
Probably from now on, those fast-food chains will all accept bitcoin as payment because it is very convenient and delivery will fit also in this kind of business.

But it was meant to be spend rather simply holding for nothing.Anyway we are holding because the prices keeps increases every year so we think that we can spend o more things if we hold now.

Its possible because I think bitcoin has a great future and people will surely love it if they knew where they can use their bitcoins, its an advantage since people are always looking for something convenient and beneficial. By looking at the list it makes me realized a lot of things like no matter what we do, bitcoin will still be supported and accepted it will continue on shining.

Exactly. Spend bitcoin instead of fiat. What is the problem? You just convert some fiat into bitcoin and use that. You would use that fiat anyway so why not use it through crypto since the opportunity is there.
It isn't an investment in that way really. It is a currency. You invest in an idea and new way of sending and receiving payments when you invest in bitcoin. You also enable yourself greater ease in payment since bitcoin payments is walys much easier then fiat.

Great collection of stores that accept BTC, and I must admit some of them are completely new for me. Some of services are only exclusively tied to specific countries, but there are many who do business internationally. In any case, it is good to know that there are more and more retailers who accept Bitcoin as a means of payment.

It's a good idea, and I've seen other similar attempts to make the list of places, but it seems to me that it makes more sense to make a website where people could search through the database of such places and add their own. And there should be a sorting system by types of places, online/offline, countries... Perhaps a good way of organizing it would be a map, I don't know. It's just that I know some places in my country, for instance, but they seem too insignificant to mention if you have a list with a total of 150 places in the world. I'd add a worldwide place, though. It's Starbucks. As far as I remember, they don't officially say that one can pay for coffee with Bitcoin, but they do accept it. But yeah, Starbucks is confusing, and other places I know are local.

You can travel for BTC. Companies offering tourism services are among the leaders in introducing Bitcoin as a method of payment. Most companies offer the same services for hotel reservation and purchase of airline tickets. Expedia is one of the world's largest online agencies that use payments with BTC for hotel reservations. In addition, in the future services will be available for the purchase of airline tickets, passes for various events, etc.

Bitcoin have already made an great impact globally and day by day users are growing. By understanding users demand many company, service providers are starting to accept bitcoin as their payment method. Famous hosting and domain provider "Namecheap (https://www.namecheap.com)" are continuing their service by accepting bitcoin from their customers. I believe very soon we will be able to see lot more companies who will accept bitcoin for secure & fast transaction.

Wow, these are really large companies, and these companies is large enough to let at least one third of the whole world population know about bitcoin because of their popularity, I am sure that as these companies continues to implement the use of cryptocurrency, many people will start getting to know about the coin too and how they can also use it.

I am sure that the list is still growing, and gradually that list may go over 1000 companies worldwide, and if these altcoins really had use case, and they were able to establish the company they raise money for, I am sire that they would have also added bitcoin to their payment services and they would have been listed among all these companies also, but its better we still start with this first, we are way to go.

Can you give us some of the sites where you can buy game credits with BTC directly? And since you said "no need" does the site support Steam games?

We have a local third party crypto payment processor here on that kind of service but it's only limited on our country I guess. So that is a big help for other gamers out there who don't have a service like that available in their country.

Through this list, we can gain more knowledge about crypto. I think this list introduces crypto to the world in a new way. Those who do not know the details about crypto will also be able to know details through this list.

By looking at the list it adds to my knowledge because only a few companies I know.
I am glad that Bitcoin can be accepted in many companies, let alone many big companies that we often hear.
Cryptocurrencies will continue to evolve and the adoption of mass becomes an excellent solution.
If crypto can be used in everyday life, I think it will be easier and especially in transacting.

in my opinion there are still many companies that accept payments in bitcoin currency that I don't know about outside of the list you made. Of course there are countless other companies that accept Bitcoin or are on their way to enter Bitcoin. We can only hope for huge profits for the Bitcoin community.

Honestly, I can't use those services since my country has decided to ban bitcoin as payment system also if I try to impose to use the service I'll need a huge money to use them since they will charge a shipping cost to send the stuff to my home. Gratefully, for those people who live where bitcoin is legalized by government so they can use it as payment system.

I only use bitcoin to sending money to different countries, yeah I have my little brother who is studying abroad in Turkey so I can send money to him through bitcoin with fast. Before I knew bitcoin I still use WU to send money but it took at least five days and I think it was too long. I think your article will be helpful and it could be use by some companies who haven't use bitcoin as a tool of payment.

Banning bitcoin in your country is not even an issue to me because if you understand the technology of bitcoin currency and its payment, you will find out that you can use bitcoin payment anonymously anytime without even the government knowing and it would never be traced to you, and this is the reason why the government is just using veto power to ban it.

But their words really holds nothing, the only people that can ever be a victim of government ban are those who are supposed to openly declare the use of cryptocurrency for payment, I mean merchants, and those who would walk to a shop to use it to pay, but when it comes to online payment, how would government know, when they are not monitoring you or the site involve. Imagine I want to buy from ebay now and they say they accept cryptocurrency, why won't I pay without government even having a clue?

Good to know that there are many that adapt and accept bitcoin for their business as payment for the products and services. Though it is not all listed because there are more that accepts bitcoin and more are coming and looking forward into it. These days we can spend Bitcoins at literally millions of places, both retail and virtual. Of course there are far more places that we can spend online, but actually now there are many different companies that issue cryptocurrency credit cards where buy when you use the credit card at a store, your funds are automatically deducted from your cryptocurrency balance, converted into Fiat and processed on the card. In this sense, anyone can spend cryptocurrency by just having one of these special credit cards.

I have seen big companies and famous names on the lists. Such a priviledge to spend our bitcoin to those things we really need. Our prestigious country also have so many Merchandises and Businesses that already accepting bitcoin and other coins as a payment.

What I am curious of is how much money came in since they started accepting Bitcoin as a legitimate payment option? If there is no growth then perhaps we can say that people are still not using Bitcoin as a currency and are probably hoarding it. If there is a growth then that is a very welcome news and other businesses might also encouraged and join them in adding Bitcoin as an accepted payment. 

The list is mostly composed of online companies. It would be best to see the list increasing with physical chain of hotels, restaurants, and stores in the coming years.

Its good news especially to us who have bitcoin and having a store or a company that accepting bitcoin is really convenient simply because of a fast transaction and less paperwork. I have seen a lot of store who accept bitcoin and I know they not only accept bitcoin but they also accept different cryptocurrencies such as ethereum and dash. I also see an article that tackles about KFC started to accept DASH as payment of their costumer. For me, this kind of adoption is really great and this will bring more knowledge about cryptocurrency.

There are alot of microservices in different industries that accepts bitcoin as payment its just that not all of them are well known worldwide and some are just offering  services for domestic consumers only.

I appreciate your effort on preparing this list. There so many companies from different sectors that we can spend our Bitcoin. Bitcoin is spreading worldwide very fastly. It is in the daily life of so many countries.

Here in my country, there are a lot of things that we used bitcoin but not actually directly. We convert bitcoin into peso and used it for some things we need in our daily expenses and daily needs. I am not pretty sure if there is direct transaction now here in the Philippines that uses bitcoin as a payment. I usually spend bitcoin in my needs and food.

I'm surprised with the list, some of them are top companies on the internet, we need more sites with the list, I'm not using some of them, but here in our country I can use my Bitcoin to buy a lot of items we are lucky to have an all in one exchange, where we can convert our Bitcoin to our local currency or use Bitcoin to pay our bills, insurance buy stop online or even donate, Bitcoin has truly come along way when it comes to it's buying power.

That's really good to hear. It is a very big help for many people. It is less hassle for them because they don't need to bring cash or withdraw to the bank or whatever. I do hope that many companies will also allow bitcoin as payment. It is a big achievement for bitcoin.

I believe there are still more companies that are not included in the list. So probably the number can reach even above two hundred or even higher. Indeed, there is a great future for bitcoin now that many companies, even the big ones, are now starting to recognize its importance and usage.

Well I don't think Microsoft allows payments through bitcoin anymore. But the problem here is that these kind of things are merely working at online companies and we are yet to discover the true usage of bitcoin which would happen when we can walk into a store and buy something using it which I don't  think is happening anywhere in a few years.
Definitely not in rest of the asia mate. or anywhere near this subcontinent. If you are a bank who has ties with any company which are into cryptocurrencies bank would need to stop any interactions and transactions with that company. Moreover in many countries people still can't pay everywhere using their cards how can we expect to pay using BTC.

You might be able to spend a little bitcoin there to shop for jewelry and other needs, and if you want to shop for clothes or gadget with bitcoin, you can buy on Bidorbuy.co.za which also accepts bitcoin payments.

I'll take down of this company who are bitcoin accepted as mode of payment. I was so impress and proud being a bitcoin fanatic in this business industry. But I heard that some fastfood chain in Taiwan which is Mcdonald outlet there was also accepting bitcoin also.

It's surprising to know that there are already lots of huge companies who are now accepting Bitcoins. Even local companies are accepting it right now. In our country, some universities are also accepting it as payment. Some establishments and restaurants are also accepting it. Some people aren't aware of it so we have to spread this kind of news. Bitcoin is really growing continuously and is consistent in being the most trusted digital currency.

I never thought bitcoin is being accepted by this much, I mean this is a great achievement in all of the obstacles bitcoin faced since 2009. This list should be spread out there. We must make it viral. This is a very important update and news that can uplift the spirit of bitcoin holders to continue to hold on bitcoins. Due to negative news coming on the different news websites some bitcoin holders are now doubting to sell or not to sell their bitcoins. But with the 150 companies that offers products and services in exchange for bitcoin then that would be a great update that many bitcoin lovers needs to read.

Of course this is not a full list. This should not be a full list because [1] after I had a quick scan of it I cannot find a single company on it that is based in the Philippines, and [2] there are 195 countries in the whole world and I don't believe there are more countries than there are companies or stores that accept Bitcoin all over the globe.  ;)

Most of these companies are operating on an international level. I'm afraid BTC-accepting tiny shops and stores that are ubiquitous all over the world are missed.

I also noticed that there are companies on the list that were opened up or started as a crypto or Bitcoin company. The likes of Denarium, Fortune Jack, Bitcoin Real Estate, Ledger, Trezor, and some more are on this category. It is better if the list is about those existing companies and stores that are drawn into the Bitcoin phenomenon, accepting BTC as an alternative form of payment, when before they only accept fiat, because they somehow see the potential of the future of it.

That's a good news, I guess? I mean it's nice to know that Bitcoin is being accepted by different companies, countries, establishments, or any stores and businesses, but my concern is its disadvantage as a payment. We all know that Bitcoin's transaction sometimes took too much time depending on how much transaction fee you are going to put, and that's the other concerns that follows, transaction fee is not cheap, losing profits is already decided if you'll use it as a payment on products that could be bought by credit cards or cash.

A good news/list indeed! This is a good sign, considering they are private companies and they are accepting bitcoin, this will not just cater their clients but will also promote bitcoins or cryptocurrencies in a way. Hoping that more companies will soon also accepts bitcoin, and I don't think that will be long enough considering the number of people now that are using crypto in buying something.

You can add most VPN, website hosts and ad services. Even advertising networks and PTC like adverts has been using bitcoin for a long time. It suites these sorts of businesses well. They low withdraw fee is attractive when you pay only a fraction of what you otherwise would and it is much easier to convert it to whatever you want.

You can buy most software and games though crypto one way or another. For steam I simply buy a giftcard with crypto. For Netflix and my google account, I top it up with bitcoin as well. Almost all digital things can be paid for with bitcoin no matter where you live since it is digital and can be sent anywhere quickly.

Fantastic with 150 companies have accepted bitcoin as legal transaction payment so far, I think few people know have many companies accepted bitcoin because still less information to bitcoin investor or many country keep hidden to show for public with bitcoin accepted with 150 companies, hope next years will added many companies want to adopt bitcoin with large community use bitcoin as transaction and legal payment.

Some VPNs are listed on the list. The reason I think the OP did not include some PTC because of it sudden possible disappearance or the OP didn't know some PTC sites. In my own opinion, the PTC site isn't suitable for the list  ::).

There is some website that is listed on the list that sells gift cards using crypto. There's even a wallet that sells steam gift cards.

This news is very good and proves to all those who still doubt bitcoin, that bitcoin is not only good in investment but can function as an alternative payment transaction tool and should spread the news throughout the world as an example and for companies or entrepreneurs to become interested in adopting bitcoin.

With time, this list will become only longer, however, it does not mean much for me now. The main task now (as I see it as a BTC investor) is to hold the main cryptocurrency waiting for 2020, the year when its halving is expected. My neighbour who is also in crypto is gambling, but he chooses casinos to spend altcoins, Ethereum, Dogecoin, and Bitcoin Cash and does never touch BTC.

I'm only aware that restaurants and some grocery are accepting bitcoin payments here in my place never heard of an university that really accept bitcoin payments.

That's really great to see a lot of businesses now are offering and accepting bitcoin payment. But I was looking for a physical store that accepts bitcoin since most of it are digital and online store. It would be better to promote bitcoin if a physical store or shop would also offer crypto payments. Also here in my country, I haven't seen one, or a shop that accepts bitcoin although crypto are not being restricted here.

Op sees this in terms of its functionality in daily life. Isn't it amazing? there are already 150 companies from various fields: cars, travel agents, food and beverages, etc. that accept Bitcoin. This is a tangible manifestation of the adoption of cryptocurrency which further facilitates human activities. Although for some it seems futile, because it is more profitable if used as an investment, this is proof that bitcoin is also quite effective if used as a means of payment. I think that's an important point.

And as of now it’s been becoming a nigger business place the online businesses so accepting bitcoin is a plus factor for both Seller and buyer
