Title: Public APIs to download historic crypto candlestick data from Binance and others
Post by: crabby on September 05, 2019, 07:41:30 PM
Hi Everyone,

We've seen a lot of interest from people in this group to access historical candlestick data. To help everyone out, we've made all of our candlestick data public. That means you can access everything we have here:

https://developers.shrimpy.io/docs/#get-candles

You don't need to sign up for an account or anything. The data is completely public for use. Just call the endpoint in your browser to test like this:

https://dev-api.shrimpy.io/v1/exchanges/binance/candles?quoteTradingSymbol=BTC&baseTradingSymbol=LTC&interval=1H

Try a few different pairs, exchanges, and candlestick sizes - I think you will find it pretty exciting!

I'm happy to answer any questions if you have some. Looking forward to hearing your feedback!

Soon we will be releasing historical order book snapshots and trade data as well for the 16 exchanges we support. Check back next week and it might be ready!
