I was just about to post exactly the same - this happened a few minutes ago when I wanted to post via mobile. I refreshed and all was "fine"...

And it just happened again when I posted the previous! Happening with every post now...

Same here. I looked it up and found this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1066849.0

That was 4 years ago but i just got the same exact message, could it be the same thing? theymos working on something?

*edit: got the same message again after posting this. I think it's a glitch in the forum.

I just saw this error when trying to post a message. What exactly triggers this error message? My garbage mobile connection tends to switch me IPs but usually i receive a different kind of error (Session validation error) but a refresh fixes it.

And the weirdest thing is that the message actually gets posted when this message shows...

It's a generic SMF error for certain things, I just screwed something up. Fixed now.

I guess this is because of the new system on the three boards in regards to bumping the topics: Bumping changes on some boards (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5183553.0) if I am right. Anyways, good thing it was not a serious as it was even though I haven't encountered it.

I can imagine a few peoples heart skipped a beat upon discovering the message :D I'm not entirely sure why SMF has opted for that kind of message whenever there's something quite not right. Causes panic among the community rather than being informative.
