That was 4 years ago but i just got the same exact message, could it be the same thing? theymos working on something? *edit: got the same message again after posting this. What exactly triggers this error message? My garbage mobile connection tends to switch me IPs but usually i receive a different kind of error (Session validation error) but a refresh fixes it.
And the weirdest thing is that the message actually gets posted when this message shows... Quote An Error Has Occurred!

I got the same error as well, I did not freak out because I know if someone was trying to hack my account they wouldn't be notifying me ;D , I thought theymos was trying an early April fool, anyhow glad we are good ! Anyways, good thing it was not a serious as it was even though I haven't encountered it.

Hacking attempt Post by: Welsh on September 11, 2019, 07:53:47 PM I can imagine a few peoples heart skipped a beat upon discovering the message :D I'm not entirely sure why SMF has opted for that kind of message whenever there's something quite not right. Causes panic among the community rather than being informative.
