Title: How do you trade? At the exchange? Platform? Bots?
Post by: Superalgos on September 11, 2019, 02:16:33 PM
Hey!

I've been trading crypto manually for two years, but an open-source project I work with just released a platform that allows non-coders to automate their strategies, so I'm now using my own bots to trade: they do exactly what I tell them to do, as they implement my own strategies. You can watch a 2-min video showing off the app here: https://youtu.be/uhzflZWB7dc

I wonder how many traders here are still trading manually… There are so many advantages to having a bot trade for you! Of course, you can't just have any random bot following any random logic!

A trading bot should be your assistant not a sociopath trying to push you into bankruptcy  ;D or doing whatever someone else programmed it to do!  ::)

So tell us... how are you doing your trading?

Feel free to tell your trading story too!

Number one and two looks very perfect to me because that is the area where I fit in, I am into both because I have learnt never to cast my eggs in one basket, and I think that it is better to rely on more than one exchange.

Right now in my trading, I trade in better trading platform with great tools than I trade on my exchange, although I trade my exchange also, but very little because of the issue of having to keep money on an exchange because as a trader using exchanges, you will have no choice than to keep your money on them. I am also a holder, like I said earlier on, it is better to diversify in every business, so I keep my money into a wallet for holding purpose while at the same time I use part of my investment to trade on these trading platforms.

I just responded 'No, I'm hodling' but would like to trade more often using a platform that would be easy to use for new traders and since I've recently learned how to code using Python, I'm planning to code my own trading bots too to automate trading with the platform I will be using. I started out manually trading directly at Bitfinex and will be trying out Binance next before researching on what trading platform would be best suited for my skill set.

Hey!

Do you ever wonder how many traders roam around the Trading Discussion section?

Let's help clear that out with a quick vote!

Feel free to tell you trading story too!

I chose

Yes, I trade on my own placing orders directly at the exchange, manually

And using up on-exchange indicators.I didn't tend to use any bots even though I'm away from my pc.
Manual trading is always the best for me.

I started trading 2 months ago and I was instructed by a brother to make transactions. indeed, I was always overwhelmed in the early days when my eyes always had to look at the jiggling charts for hours on end.
This really makes me headache and tired, but the achievement that I have done in the past 2 months really makes me happy.
I set a goal of 2% successful trading every day, after 1 month my portfolio reached 60%. That's how I started trading. ;D

I first got interested in trading Forex, around 2009, educated my self on the very basics, but I never passed the point of playing with paper-trading, which may have been a wise choice back then.

Then I started trading crypto in 2017, with the very basic education I had acquired back in the day... so I probably made all the mistakes you can make, out of pure ignorance, of course, at the cost of loosing money. Then I started reading, and fortunately had access to very knowledgeable traders from whom I learnt a lot.

Now I'm working with an open-source project building a trading bots platform for non-coders (https://superalgos.org/tools-superalgos-desktop-app.shtml)... And that's what I'm using for my own trading now.

I trade manually by myself at the exchange. I feel comfortable trading by myself rather than bot or other platform.

We don't know how many traders roam because I guess not all traders want to show they are traders or not. I feel I am not a pro trader because I often make a mistake and not only make a profit. I don't use most of my time to trade because I have another activity, but I am trading in daily and weekly, but that depends on the market moves.

I trade on binance, bittrex because I see that those exchanges have a good volume and sometimes the price can increase and decrease in anytime. I don't use bots to trade because I want to improve my skills by trading in real-time. Besides that, I feel it's too difficult to set the bots to run as I want, and I don't feel right to use the bots.

I do multiple things on your list... I really don't think it's a good idea to reveal exactly how I trade. So I won't really vote. I don't want to be dishonest with my vote. Wish you didn't include some of the things on your list.

I definitely place my orders directly on  exchanges. I also trade on a single platform that allows trading multiple exchanges one place.

Are there really some traders who are coding their own bots for trading? Maybe there are only few of them.
I am really favor in trading bots since then, I am doing manually trading, placing my own orders and taking profits manually, so I can learn to trade as time goes by.

Dont be surprised if those who posts here are not really traders but just posers who pretends that they are really traders. Some will just post here for the signature that they are wearing but ask them technical questions about trading, they have no knowledge, just the basics. I am not an expert in trading, but I am the type of guy who is willing to learn and spend money to learn and earn.

Like the majority here I trade by manually placing orders on exchanges. I see it as the most efficient way of trading. I don't trust third parties that could do it for me and I don't trust bots so manual trading is all I have left.

It works out fine so I have no reason to change anything.

I understand traders not revealing their strategies or even their approach to trading, but still find intriguing that you wouldn't even say if you use a platform or any form of automation. Would you elaborate on the reason not discuss such general type of information? It also intrigues me that you wish I hadn't include some of the items in the list... did you find something offensive?

I am trading directly at the exchange, manually. It is the best and the safest method of trading and the risk is much lower than using bots or giving the funds to someone else to trade. Trading directly at the exchange will also build your experience and it is helping to avoid big loses.

I do trade by my self.

Honestly, I really love trading with a small capital cryptocurrency, I can use a FA for the trading activity pretty easy to use only to do research about :
  • Project
  • Team
  • Volume Trading
  • Spread Order
  • Wall Order
  • Have some a good target of about 30/50/70%
I really don't trust bot, because already see/hear the problem using a bot trading. A month ago, I got a good profit from a stupid bot at IDEX. The order book bot always moving every time we put an order above him because of that, i make a fake order with a gap around 180% from other market and get a good profit because of the stupid bot.

Better for you because that is the wisest thing to do, to trade yourself is still the best bet in having a more reliable trade, when you rely too much on one of these bots, they might eventually fail along the line, although from the beginning they might be effective, but it is like they are cursed to break down along the middle, while human intelligence when out into trading will never do that as long as we acquire the technical skill and strategy to do so and make the trade  successful one.

One other one that i don’t follow at all is the one they call signal, and how can my fellow person be giving me signal when I can also study and learn to develop my own personal signal that I can rely on without doubting the quality of such signal.

I never prefer bot for trade no matter how much easy and greedy it is. Of course i trade on my own placing orders directly at the exchange, manually. Because all i believe if i do it my self and i face to loss though then it's ok for me, cause at least i can learn from my mistakes. But if i trade listen from bot or another people or bump dump group there is nothing i can learn not even my own mistakes.

Wow.
I voted and then shocked at the results.
I didnt know a lot of users here are the same as me.
Yes, I do it manually. The hardcore manual trading.
Monitoring every 30 minutes and then selling when I am happy with the profit.
I tend to get greedy at some point but $100 and I am fine to take it.
Let it marinade again then buy back. Or? I would be trading using another coin.

I do a little bit of everything. I hold the majority of my coins in a cold wallet and I only use that wallet a few times a year, while I trade manually on leveraged sites like Bitmex with a small percentage of my funds and using bots that I've manually tweaked and continue to tweak pretty often. I'm pretty active on Bitmex and they offer TradingView integration with their site, which is nice, but I still do most of my analysis and charting directly on TradingView because it's just much more convenient than working with a small window in a browser. I've never personally coded a bot myself, but I've made plenty of strategies that are mostly nonviable with a few great exceptions.

I do trading on my own and manually, when I have some liquidity in my economic status I can afford to leave some money for the trade, sometimes I trade in Bitmex which I operate whenever I see opportunity in the settlements that the Exchange does , from there I make decisions, since most are operated by bots. And I usually trade when in my analysis I have several confirmations about which is the line of least resistance and there I enter.

Trade on my own.
I have made some profits out of it even before. But I dont make it longer like some who makes rule like months before they check again.
Yes, there might be some who made some good adjustment with their price after I sell but I dont regret it as long as profit had been made and exchanged it with bitcoin in a rush.

I think that people who trade and hold their positions for more than a month are already more holders than traders. It seems to me that the trader should put a stop loss and go to sleep.

Bots have some advantage as it helps to decide their own but of course, It feels better when we do trading manually and we can apply our strategies as well as TA's. But even with a hectic schedule of my job but I can manage to do trading in a while without using bots. But it sometimes I've realize that it could be me more profitable and less stress if I have this thing. I hope it looks good and everything will be fine.

Personally, I believe that the future, or if you want the present, is controlled by bots. And to be afloat, and show maximum productivity, it is worth paying attention to them and at least find application.
Everyone who trades through well-tuned bots saves a huge amount of time and money because the bot's reaction compensates for the human reaction.

That is the advantage of using bots in trading especially when you have a stable job and just considering a part-time in trading. But we can't just fully rely on them cause it is much better to do manual trading if we have time. Bots have their own decision base on a trading signal when to buy and sell, but not apparently it has TA's that could help to become more profitable.

I'm actually in trading( sometimes), but I'd never try using bots cause I feel safe when I did it manually besides, in doing our own strategy we are also learning and improving ourself confidence towards the market and as well as in trading.

I don't have skills to make bot or anything like that because don't have experience about it. Maybe i vote like a lot of people here because i do manually make my order like what traders do. With that i think i am more careful when placing orders because it will be bad if i sell my coins in very cheap price if wrong to put amount of price.

Yeah right, trading with bots only destroys our skills to analyze. For me it's okay to trade with bots, as long as we understand market and if we can make algorithm. I also realize that all trading with bots is not good because it can suck balance when market changes very quickly. If @OP is a beginner it is better to understand market first and vice versa if @OP already understand market well then please use bot with strategies owned.

Though I voted for hodling in this poll I prefer to trade on exchanges especially binance. I am always outside so I prefer to trade using my mobile phone and binance's mobile app really help me alot when I am trading. I just trade when the market is uptrend and do the usual buy low sell high strategy. I've studied before how to read the charts thinking if I could go full-time but I fail.

Since the time bitcoin has regularised as illegal currency in my country we have no options to trade over exchangers. As any money that is withdrawn from exchanger to directly banks will be considered as illegal way of income source.

This is terrific when it comes to the Tax filing.

So the time has come my people are now using only local trading sites like LocalBitcoins.

Most of the times it is hard to trade on it because  . .

I need time to buy from a seller with lower prices. Then hold those BTC's and then wait for the boom to occurs. This follows with wait period where prices need to be hiked and find someone buying at that price. Thus initiating selling phase and complete the profit cycle.

Slower way of trading but worth doing it.

Currently, I'm trading on quite new CFD platform CEX.Broker, https://cexbro.com/. Being a user of CEX for more than 2 years, I've got used to it, as it is very convenient. Therefore when I saw the news about the launch of a new trading platform, I was intrigued immediately. Now, as I mentioned before, I'm testing it, and haven't identified any serious issues yet.

There is something we could have a try and gladly you're in the platform that never gives any troubles. Knowing the fact that most newly created platforms meant not to be trusted or they look shady. This make traders not really  interested with them and they are preferred to the old ones.
Nothing wrong to try new one if we have a lot of money that we are willing to risk and lost. Cause we can't justify of we don't give a shot.

I trade with bots and write a blog about the performance and results. Check out my last report if interested: https://tradingbot.info/results/bitsgap-bot-is-making-me-profit-again/

It is the 2nd month already that I am using the bot for trading. What can I say, trading bots are the tools that also should be monitored and adjusted. I have tried to let it work on its own, but the results were not that great.

Yes, I'm that kind of person. Because I don't have enough money to take courses, I am still a student and so I learn from experience by referring to the trading strategies of good people.
I have not made many transactions yet, but I often suffer losses because I believe in the strategies of others. I think I need to have my own strategy to have my own experience. how do you see? Please advise me.

Though you are right with bot it won't enhance your skills in properly anticipating the market directions, it can in terms of positioning your entry or exit position the problem is if the target ain't being hit, the bot will not do anything unlike with manually executed trades you are in control to place yourself and you can adjust every time you see open opportunities or if it's in need of cutting your loses.

You need to have wider knowledge to perform the right thing while dealing with trading activities.

Therefore he did not use bots because indeed, doing it manually would be better to continue to hone his skills and there would be a lot of experience to be gained. The reason we cannot operate the bot properly and correctly is a strong reason for us to continue trading with high confidence and when we do it often it will build our instincts on every prediction and some analysis that will be made.

It particular reason why people mostly used bots in trading is just that they wanted to see their trading 24/7 which unlikely we can't do it without this tool. But not really it gives me a reason to think that it is much better than we do it manually. I'm in trading but not particularly be using bots, may I have a plan but much preferred to do it in my own strategy.

Bots will trade for you based on your strategy or settings. Thats the beauty of having a bot with you when you trade. Its emotionless. It will not trade because all of a sudden you feel like there's an opportunity to buy at low price. It will do what you asked the bot to do and nothing more. Just make sure that the setting that you input in your bot makes sense or else, you might be shocked upon opening your trading account with zero funds.

Some people believe specially newbie ones do look into these bots to be a money making machine without even knowing that these are created for automation of trades so it means settings will depend on you as a trader.Ive been using bots when im away from my pc but most of the time ive been doing manual.Yes, its hard to combat emotion but there are lots of things that differs actual trading than to have an automated one.

Yes that is true, I have been asked several times already about my bot and how much did I make already and they think because of the bot I am using, I am already a millionaire which is wrong. There are times when bot will not Buy or sell anything for me because of the settings that I input so no trade happens everyday only when it qualified based on the settings.

Problem with other bot sellers are they only tell them the positive side of having a bot, but not the negative side which is its not a wonder bot that will find the coin for you to trade, no its not. You still need to find the right coin and set the buy or sell settings.

I make my trading orders directly on the newscrypto.io platform where I have everything else to work with. I like how I can open just one page and have all the analysis, charts, news, and additional help tools while also an option to trade. It's just so fast and convenient.

Regarding cryptocurrency trading strategies, it’s difficult to say something unambiguous. Each trader has his own concept of proper trading. Although, today, margin trading is very popular. However, you will not understand what is better until you try everything. For instance, although I prefer to trade doing everything myself, bots help in these activities, too. Revenuebot is very interesting.
Experience does vary on anything we got involved on.We cant conclude nor say up things if we didn't able to experience or tried it.
For those people who do have wrong beliefs on these bots will really test out if these bots are working or do make money without doing anything
and then suddenly they realize that they hope on the wrong thing. On next time, they aren't that dumb since they do know on how these bots works.
Manual trading is always been best.

Hey!
Do you ever wonder how many traders roam around the Trading Discussion section?
Let's help clear that out with a quick vote!
Feel free to tell your trading story too!

I was active trader back in 2017-18 and used to keep things straight by trading directly on exchange, I never used platforms or bots. But soon my enthusiasm faded because almost all of the exchanges were loaded with bots. It was never easy to trade coins, especially coins having volume less than $10K. Whenever, I tried creating buy or sell order, few new orders popped of slightly less or more price. The use of bots actually kill the freeplay of trading.

Yeah, I know but where's the fun when bots are fighting battles for you. Soon we may reach a situation when market becomes too perfect that everyone is buying at same price which is slightly less than selling price and everyone is selling at same price which is slightly more than buying price and no trade is taking place in the market because it is impossible to execute the order since no buyer and seller coming to consensus at any price in between.
This may sound funny and impossible at the moment but believe me, this is what bots do to you.

I am writing bots and using them for auto trade and I trade manually on exchanges just to improve my bots' algorithms. This is all about it, if you stop moving while others are moving, you will be going back. Manually trades on exchanges give me inspriations and understand my human motives so that I can apply the contrary of them for my bots :)

I trade on my own, manually. I look after the coin price, I put buy order and I do sell. To me, this is the best way of trading and I believe most of the traders do the same as the poll result already showing it. Because U can't rely on a bot in trading. Through Bot or platform trading, sometimes you can get profit but you shouldn't rely on it.

doing experiments like that would be very useful because when you do both in different ways it will produce a result that might be more profitable when you do it well, after all, if we are able to do many ways in trading then it will make knowledge and experience we are increasing rapidly. but for me personally, i prefer to do it manually because I just don't want to force myself in trouble because the most important thing is that when we do it comfortably we will be better at controlling ourselves in trading

Manual trading could be seem as it is for more control. But, remember, there are many indicators and fundamental news that we should check everytime. This doesn't seem possible with manual trading. For example, you can't make trade if you are sleeping, but, what if there is a good opportunity when you are sleeping? You could arrange your bot according to the coming data and get that opportunity. These fundamental and technical news are rare. Another example, you may not want to miss a below 15 RSI while you are sleeping  :)

Yeah, there are some benefits by using bots and trade manually by yourself. The majority of cases, people who trade manually lost the chance to buy or sell at the best price.
The main reasons for newbies not using bots because they don't know how to use it, not an active trader, can't find the technical analysis data of trading, or simply do not trust the bot to execute the trade. I just put an order if there is a chance to buy or sell, which not everyday will appear, short-term trader waiting for few hundreds or thousands of dolllars increase or decrease in price.

As for me, I only trade when absolutely necessary. This mainly happens when I need to exchange bitcoin for another coin, if my client or friend asked for a lightcoin, for example, then I go to the exchange (most often binance) and perform simple exchange manipulations.

Like majority of this poll's votes, I too trade manually and do my own research. It hasn't been spectacular and I haven't won enough to change my life, but it's still better than letting money sleep in the bank.

As a suggestion, i'd be very wary of trading bots and avoid them like the plague tho. Don't fall for the trick because most of the time they are sleeper scams or not very profitable, in reality.

There certainly seems to be a majority here trading manually... I'm struggling to understand the argument saying that by trading manually you get to hone your skills... How exactly does that work for you? How does logging in to the exchange and placing an order by filling out a form and clicking submit hone your skills?

It will enhance your knowledge to adopt what the market trends is bringing the situation, trading manually gives us the chance to change our position when market is not moving according to our expectations. Whenever there's a change directions, we can deal with it in the rightful manner, from that point you will be able to create backup plans and new strategy once the first one didn't materialize.

You can do that in an automated fashion as well. You just need to sit a think what to instruct your bot beforehand. If this happens, do this. If that happens, do that. And so on...

Almost all my friends dissuade me from using the trading Bot, since it will not lead to good results.  Subsequently, the trading bot can use your entire balance and leave you 0. If you want to get a really good work experience, then you should do practical exercises and hone your professionalism.  It really will take a lot of time and constant market research.  I’ve been doing this for too long and still can’t call myself a professional.

You could trust the bot if you think that the bot can run as you want. But still, you need to have the skill to trade manually and not depends on the bot. That is what I did so far, I try to trade by myself, and I feel that if I use the bot, I think that I need to understand how the bot works so I can make a correct setting for the bot. Besides that, the market will have an unknown movement, so we need to adjust the bot related to the market situation, and for me, that will need more time to make a correct setting.

Using bots in trading is really different from what actually we want to happen. May this technology sound helpful but in terms of accuracy and decision making are quite different. When it comes to satisfaction and to learn more about trading is to do it by ourselves. Bots can be losing, the same thing that it possibly happens to us as well.

most people will trade manually on the exchange. I believe that is the most votes compared to the others. this is because everyone has their own style of trading. like selling it at a price that is on-demand, or ordering a rather high price according to predictions.

Very few people currently trade using bots or other tools. when entering the world of cryptocurrency, and seeing unstable prices for most cryptos, I'm very sure people will choose to trade manually.

I do the same, I have been a trader for almost a year now and while my profits are not as big as I would like at least I am getting positive results which is more than what most traders can say after one year of trading.

And about the bots, unless you can code your own bot with your own strategy there is no point in buying a bot created by someone else, as we know you need to allow your bot to make movements in the exchange and if there is malicious code in the bot it could be possible for a hacker to get your funds out of the exchange.

I work in an open-source project that has just released an open-source platform that helps non-coders automate various kinds of strategies. What is unique about the app is that it does not require coding skills. Traders may design and fine-tune strategies on a visual setting, back-test, paper trade, and—when ready—deploy the strategy as a fully-automated bot to trade live, directly from within their machines. No need to trust third parties with API keys, funds or strategies. The resulting bots do exactly what you tell them to do. Check it out in the Superalgos project website (https://superalgos.org/tools-superalgos-desktop-app.shtml).

And it's free!

At this time I'm mostly hodling but when I was trading I did it by manually placing the orders. Using bots is very risky and I know a number of people who did it and failed. I mean they did not lose money but you're keeping money on exchange, wasting time making sure everything works and you're earning a dollar a day. That's a free dollar but still bots aren't very profitable.
I also did some arbitrage trading back in the day and you could really make some good money that way. I think I made more money on arbitrage trading than trying to predict the bottom.

And i think trading using a bots is not good and the fees could be bigger and some tools to make a trade is good where we can analyze the market easily.

Using Bots is not a good idea because if exchange funds definitely they will block the accounts, manual trading is always good for the investors because based on their knowledge they might make profits. Trading manually through technical analysis will help to acquire more knowledge and can make profits with the fluctuations.

I have always traded by manually placing orders, though I want to get more into algorithmic trading and bots programming, but that requires quite a big learning curve especially if you don't have any prior programming experience. There are coders around the world who get paid lots and lots of money to automatize traders strategies, so it's pretty worthwhile to learn this skill in my opinion. However, personally I want to always be in charge of my trades so I prefer getting in and out of them manually.

I think it really depends on what you are trying to achieve. Platform with useful tools will make your life much easier than trading at exchange (especially if you are a newbie). Some platforms can be quite pricy but it's easy to find basic tools at some for free. Not a veteran trader but i always seek help at www.newscrypto.io . If anyone knows for a better site please return a comment! Good days fellow traders.

I trade by myself ( manual).  Before buying any tokens / coins, check some things. Project Details, Volume, What's upcoming news.Seeing all this, I take trade. And a lot of risk traded with bot.Trading with another person's bot is a danger. I mean, how is he Program it’s? Maybe all my funds could be lost.

Bot is programmed in such a way that users or traders find it easy to trade, especially for faster trading.
However, your fear is as same as some people's. I have hear some traders same they can't use a bot for trading because of the fear of it being manipulated by the exchange developers, though, can't still say how true this is.

I always trading manually, i ever use bot, but i always scary so always checking my bot is give mistake or not, that is bad waste my time to see it everytime.
Personally, i trade manually because i care my time.
So i will try analyze coin one by one to see the opportunity of profit, after that click buy and sell with my hand.
There is some experience and i love it!

I'm still new to trading so I stick to social trading platforms like eToro (https://www.etoro.com). It really helps me build confidence to be able to watch other more sucessful traders trade and compare my strategy and decision making technique to theirs.

Many people do business in many ways Your first strategy is very good It will help me a lot in my later work I usually use bots very rarely when trading I trade myself and try to hold. I avoid the risks of investing and researching different places to trade so I have less fear of losing money.

For making trading, we have a different bias of the platform and supports because we have diverse expertise, and most If the time, those platforms have a distinct advantage too, and also sometimes, it is suitable for your needs as a trader. Being a trader for almost a year, I becomes loyal into a web-based platform because most of the time I'm facing with my computer and I love you explore something that will help me to my investment in trading and also that platform has a lot of features like notifying for having a reasonable market price and also it is faster and easier to buy and sell some funds, and also for me it is easier to trade more coins with using web base because it is easy to find where kind of tab or page I'm looking for instead of using buttons. This is just my perspective only.

You have already answered why many traders are still trading manually; yes rather than using any random logic of a random bot, it will be much better to believe in our own trading skills to crack profits against unpredictable market fluctuations.

Yes, there are lots of trading bots are available in the market but how efficient they are. I have never seen any consistent performance of a bot against all type of market conditions. It means some bots works well in some market conditions and then start booking losses in all other market conditions or may remain sleeping without triggering any new trades. Manual trading must be 1000% better than struggling with a random thing.

A trading bot should be your assistant not a sociopath trying to push you into bankruptcy  ;D or doing whatever someone else programmed it to do!  ::)
Basically, I'm not ready to believe into someone else who generate signals for me either for payment or free. I prefer trading on my own signal because I am believing into my market analyzing capabilities which means I'm not having any problem with my manual trading hence I believe there will be no need of any assistant.

i like the idea of we non programmers/coders can make our own bot  . that means its user friendly   .that is better than trusting other bots coded by some random programmer  . we dont know whats inside them   . whats worst is that thier bots are faulty or have some malwares inside it   its pretty risky   . in my case i do both manual and auto using thet exchange's built in auto trade system  . havent tried using bots  yet but i will be looking forward to try what the op have been using as it sounds cool to me  .

Try to trade using good platforms, I use Binance since 2017 and I found it very useful and effective as you want to become a professional trader. In trading you should take a risk to earn profit, in investing your money, choosing an effective platform is important lessen the risk that you will have. If you are comfortable and you trust the platform that you use, you will get used to it and trading will become easy for you. Also being knowledgeable about the platform will help you to become more productive. That's what I learn when using Binance for almost 2 years and now is 2020, I'm hoping for more successful transaction with anyone who is a good customer and legit buyer.

Most of the traders have account in Binance because it already has established name where it can considered one of the most reputable exchange. I also have account there and most of my fund are in there. The platform is good, the support is also good where I can communicate to their team if their is a problem. The volume is also real, we should be aware that there are exchanges who have fake volumes and we should avoid that kind of exchanges.

Trading bots are great in my opinion of course because it let's you automate your trades while you're away like for e example taking a nap, do groceries, meet up with friends etc. You can now all do these without having to sit on a pc all day, if of course its properly coded and with algorithm's that is advance enough to know when to short or to long.

Trading bots is good but it costs a lot to get it and of course not everyone can use and own it for this reason, but if you have a lot of money then of course choosing to use bots trading is the right choice, and if we are still constrained by costs it will be more good to continue to develop skills because using bots trading or not it still allows us to generate profits that are not much different.

Honestly mine is so boring that people would be literally suggesting to do otherwise of what I am doing. I just put my money into bitcoin through my local exchange, then send it to somewhere as trusted as binance (usually just binance) buy the coin that I like that may go up, then just let it sit there as long as required, usually not even trading it back, just keeping there like a long investment.

I know people have figured out ways to make better profits and better methods but I am just too stupid to make those kinds of wild moves that yield bigger profits, so I use the old system where I just buy and let it be. If I were to try the other methods that further developed traders are using right now, I know instead of making more profits I would instead lose money.

You should not blindly trust OP in terms of using any bot which would not require any coding information. Such bots actually have pre-written codes which they might execute on suitable trades. We might just need to setup actual margin, entry price, exit price, trailing profit, stop-loss, etc to make it convenient for ourselves but sometimes it can be riskier to use any random bots to perform trades on our behalf. You have to link the trading bot with an API key given by the exchange.

Some exchanges never allow withdrawals via API but yet there are few exchanges who might give access to the bot to withdraw your funds only with the help of the API key.

I am trading manual because I don't feel right to trade using a bot. I want to explore how to analyze the market, and I want to learn more about trading because with having more information about trading, I can have more skills in trading that will be useful for me to choose the coin. I know that it will not easy, but I can accept that as long as I can find out how to analyze the market with good. But right now, I don't trade too often because I am waiting for a good time to buy and sell by analyzing each coin. And I can not get the coin, and I will stop to analyze for a while and only watch the market movements.

Trading manually goes a bit convenient for me. Bots make work easier undoubtedly but yet there might be some minor changes which we would need to speculate on our own in order to gain some profits from the minor price changes.

To me, using a bot to execute our trades would be profitable for mid range or long range trading but for short term, I prefer to trade by myself. I usually trade on the price of bitcoins and $100 to $300 gap also makes me earn some profits which is actually a bit instant because it does not take time for bitcoins to move by 300$ price intervals and this is where I find my spot to quickly enter and exit the markets.
