You mean actual "Stocks" are influenced by Cryptocurrency Market OR are you referring to the whole cryptocurrency market being influenced by the price of Bitcoin?
If you find day trading difficult you could try weekly, monthly or long-term trading.. Or you could trade between Bitcoin and stablecoin. Or between top altcoins and stablecoin

Technical analysis can only provide you an edge to trade, it cannot predict the market perfectly. Its true trader's sentiments moves the market. For day trading one must chose the lower TF like 15 minutes, 30 minutes or 1 hr TF. First and the most important thing is to analyse bigger trend, where 4hr, 1 Day or weekly TF is moving, one should only trade in the direction of bigger trend but it is also important to check if there is any resistance or support in the trend, trades should not be taken near it. It is better to wait for retracement in any trend and enter the trade on new signal. Hope it helps.

if a traders fail then it means more research needed. So not only does strategy need a traders. It also needs discipline and consistency in their strategy and research and analysis before all because this is the most  important.and don't put emotion into the trade because more emotion has a higher chance of losing.

There's so many criteria for a traders to become successful in trading. One of this things are you nee to be aware and prepare for any circumstances that you might encounter when you are in the actual trade. Be a risk taker, be patience, must know how to
implement the use of right timing in trading, and don't panic if the price fall rapidly.

Are you specifically asking why you are failing day trading in the stock market? If you are then you must know that the stock market compared to the crypto market isn't as volatile as it is and the volatility is more dependent on speculation and news involving the market and the specific stock you are looking at, technical analysis is something used on a much longer time frame as they are looking at bigger patterns in the market and they trading are only about the hype involving a specific industry or stock. Try basing your trades more on news involved with the companies and just look at TA to confirm if the charts are supporting the movement.

First let us clear about what you are talking, stocks or cryptos?

People have high chances to lose money in day trading compared to others since it is most profitable trading method when one do it most perfect way.

You either study and practice more, or you simply just can give up. Either option is fine, as not everyone has the patience and the emotion control that's fit for a day trader. Technical analysis isn't there to guarantee that you'll win your trades anyway. It just helps with risk control, regardless if the price is going up or down. Remember, even in the bull run of 2017, pretty much every shitcoin investor thinks they're geniuses just because everything's going up.

If you want to quit, go for it. Just don't think bad of yourself, as you've might have tried your best anyway.

Why are you mixing stock market with crypto market ? If you are asking about the stock market only then this may not be the right platform as you will get information about the crypto market trading here.
In crypto market, day trading is not easy and even the experienced persons fails when it comes to day trading. You need to be very precise in your judgement, when you do day trading.

Not all people are good at daytrading, some are better at longer-term trading or swing trading, and then some people just aren't fit for trading at the end of the day. If you've really been putting work into shorter-term trading and it's just not panning out for you, try another style of trading and see how that works out for you. I've never been a great day trader either, and I might never be, but I've got strengths located in other areas. You could also continue trying to learn how to daytrade; it might just be a small error that's keeping you from being successful.

This is the same i do thought where he do trying to correlate stocks trading to crypto.I dont even see a reason
why they do correlate to each other which it isnt right for you to rely on and trying to compare both because
in volatility alone you will able to spot out the difference hence they are also in different markets. The thing you advise was just right
where if it doesnt work on shorter time frame then you can try out the longer ones and find which TF will suit you in.

Day trading is a hard thing. You wont making money from learning technical analysis for months and start to daytrade. Daytrading stocks and indices is time consuming. and you only learn by failing at the beginning. My advice for you, if you really know technical analysis stuff and so on, try to trade on higher timeframes for the beginning. 1 hour chart and up. Its easier than day trading cause your best analysis wont work if donald trump make tweets about tariffs for chinese goods cause the negotiations with china don't get well... or some other shit. on the next day he makes a tweet that all looks good for a deal and market gets pumped

Are you in trading with crypto or real stocks? Cause crypto trading is different from how a real stock trading goes and I don't crypto will affect the price with our local stock market. Since you've learned already about TA's and actually you are practicing it, it will be easily for you to adopt crypto trading. However, you shouldn't have to rely only on TA's, you should also consider trading signals and some tools that could help you fully understand the market flows..

By the time there is an thread in our trading discussion where one has got into trading leaving his day job. He was successful to make good earning. It is also a kind of gambling where luck is required apart from the technical experience.

You cannot use the same analysis for crypto and stock at the same time because it works in a different way. You need to choose which market you want to trade, and you need to stay focus on one of them. Don't try to compare the market because that will makes you confuse to analyze.

You already make a mistake, and you should not make the other same mistake. From now on, you need to choose only one market first to learn deeper and make yourself familiar and understand how to make money from that.

You don't need to do day trading if you don't have good skills because that will makes you confuse to determine which coin you should buy. Besides that, you feel difficult to make a profit if you still force yourself. Just try to learn step by step, and practice to know how to choose the right coin.

Technical analysis have some percentage of success around 70-80%, A professional TA always giving a percentage form his analysis around that percentage. We can get a 100% technical analysis to get a profit, sometimes TA makes some people confuse to make a Buy/Sell order.

I'm not a fan of TA, I doing a trade only with small capital crypto went i can do my analysis based on Volume Trading, Spread Order, Wall & Gap order around 15-30%

Don’t compare cryptocurrency and stocks, the markets on both have different behavior, in stock market, it moves when a positive news or negative news was published, unlike in cryptocurrency, a lot of positive news has been published but price don’t move a bit. Try using Bolinger bands if you are a day trader.

Being expert and skilled traders will not guarantee you to become successful in trading as sometimes it would have to be associated with luck specially in this unhealthy market. You could try your luck as day trader if the market become healthy again so i suggest to wait for the market until it become stable.

Many traders failed in day trading, so I guess not only you that have those experience. The difference is many of them can trying again and again because they know that they can learn from the loss. I think they can analyze on which they are making a mistake so they can avoid making the same mistake in the future. But I see that many of us making a mistake on the making a profit because although we already make a profit, we want to make a bigger profit in the trading, so we lose the opportunity to take the profit.

We need to avoid that if we want to get the profit from day trading because, in day trading, we cannot make a stable profit. If you can make 1%-3%, that is a good amount of profit so if you can repeat the process on that day, and then I think your profit will bigger too. And if you can repeat it in the next day and you can get the profit more than 3-5 times in that day, then I am sure that your profit will be bigger at the end of the month. You don't have to regret your failed because you have much time to start over the trading and keep trying to make another profit.

We can't just rely on luck in trading instead, we must have to apply all our learnings and strategies that we've been gathered before.
I feel normal to make some losses but how it makes us learn something is a great full day to have. No top traders succeed without suffering such losses, not to think just one but of many(possible) time before they reach from where they are today.

You are in a crypto environment and you are asking about stocks?

You already said that you have been practicing it for months, I guess that's not enough and you really need to educate and learn more from day trading but it's not at easy as it sounds.

So go and continue to day trade and at least learn from your past mistakes. If you have the chance to record everything then good, at least you have something to look at if something goes wrong. No one can teach you here how to day trade because every individual has is very different specially talking about risk.

70-80% is still waaaaay above the average rate of success per trade. It's not just that when you apply TA that you can have 7-8 out of the 10 trades be profitable for you. TA is extremely subjective and can rekt you hard or be generous to you, especially when it comes to an asset class as Bitcoin where the sentiment can literally change in an instant.

Some people lose like 7 trades in a row, but have one successful trade bring them back into green (profit) territory. It all comes down to your understanding, the time frame you are trading, and the risk you are willing to expose yourself to at that specific moment. If TA had a success rate of 70-80% on average it would have been quite a solid profession for people to work towards. :D

Things in trading crypto aren't as rosy as some people may want to pass it off as.

- Luck may be a factor of the game but we cannot control it, and in a game we don't have the initiative, the chances of us losing are too high but with skill and knowledge, we may not guarantee success but we certainly will not fail too much and we will be proactive in this game. And agree with you that failure is so normal in trading days, anyone has certain failures with trading day because the future picture of a market is not something one can predict, don't be sad when we fail, it's important that we win the next days

sometimes the technical analysis is also not completely accurate, to increase the win rate, you should really refer to the hot news of the day. Sometimes such news will help you judge the price very easily in a few seconds.

Day trading needs more skills, patience, and controlling yourself in crypto trading, stocks trading, or else.
If you have all of those things, then you can try to make a profit from stocks, and there is a difference between stocks and crypto.
I think stocks will be related to the economics of the country so you need to spend your time to read what is going on with the economy of the country so you can decide whether to buy or sell the stocks.
In crypto, you can buy and sell in anytime you like, and I think the crypto is not related to the economy of the country.
The crypto will relate to the news on the internet that can make people panic at any time.
But in stocks trading and crypto trading have the same purposes, which are to make a bigger profit as we can so if you are ready with yourself, you can try to do day trading.
Before you try, you need to check everything can run well, including the status of the market so you can analyze without any problem.
But that will work in crypto trading because I am sure that in stocks trading, it will need more than just.

daily trading is very risky, it's better to trade weekly,
political issues in a country and changes in interest rates greatly affect price changes,
IMO, Better if you join a broker, the profit you will get is little but your risk is very small,
but if you are familiar with high risk and like challenges, do your own research and find the right formula is the right choice,
maybe you can also make some books as a reference.

Trading intraday is a very risky business. This is not intended for beginners. Day trading gives very little time for reflection; there you need to make decisions quickly. I would recommend trading within longer periods of time.

As far as I know it's a very short squeeze trading strategy, so it's really hard to make money and there is a big chance that you are going to lose and you have to stay in front of your desktop just to make sure that the price movement  and check your positions. And if you are a noob in crypto or stocks, definitely you will encounter a lot of frustrations because of the difficulty to make money.

Even if you have spent a lot of time in technical analysis, there’s no such thing as guarantees in what you are doing. No matter if its stocks or crypto, you cannot predict very well if it’s going to go up or down. Although there are pro traders or analysts there who thinks that their results are accurate, but they’re not.

They are not exempted from having wrong predictions. Like last year’s Consensus event in NYC, analysts predicted that BTC will rise, but instead it falls.

Please remember that you’re not alone. There are many of us who are like you too. Nobody succeeds without failing, assessing and adjusting from mistakes.

Day trading is a full time work that takes a lot of effort and most of the time, except one have access to insider information, its really difficult to make an headway that would be so obvious to count as a success and its the same everywhere. However, there is a route I know that one can make a sure winning in the day trading aspect regarding stocks is to take away focus from established stocks that have been listed in a while but on IPOs that are coming to the market. For those ones, the margin at the beginning of the day would significantly be different at the end of trading for the day which most times is always on the positives and this is always repeated for the next three days before the wolves will take charge of the entire thing and turn it to a normal trading activity.

its because you don't have patience mate.  As the matter of fact even you make practice everyday through doing trading and you become experts with doing technical analysis it still useless. Because  you cannot control your emotions and you have no patience at all.  You must adjust mate! . Don't lose hope and always remember to avoid being hasty and greedy because it takes time and you should wait for it. Dont give up.

Day trading is not a good idea and i didn't see anyone making money on a daily basis, it is pretty hard truth about trading. I think if you just focus on swing trading and go with long-term time frams you can execute your trades easily and take longer profits. Don't rely to much on Techincal things, try to learn the psychology of the market, after that you can make money.

I don't seem to understand the point you are bordered about. If you have understood technical analysis, stick to it. The point here is sometimes things go wrong in the market and if you are currently there in the market, that is when you get trapped.

The lesson here is a day trader is not meant to allow market drag so much because of profit.

Correct. Why bother to go thru the difficult part if you already good at something where you are already making profit.
It is just non sense. Why not just continue that after all?

Haven't you tried lookinng for a forum which specialized in stock markets? For crying out loud this is a crypto related forum and of course and it will just confuse stocks over crypto currencies.
You might not find a good answer here.

If a person cannot find the correct information on bitcointalk, then it seems to me that you need to use all the resources to study trading.  I advise you to visit YouTube, where you can not only hear, but also visually gain good knowledge in trading activities.  I believe that this is a good way out of the current situation, where a person cannot find a good source of information.

Basically, you must know when does the market opens and when does it closes. Buy as soon as the market opens otherwise you won't be able buy it at its best price for that day. Once you've bought stocks at a great price, put it to sell order afterwards with stop loss otherwise you'll end up losing a lot from your capital.

Partly it will going to happen with day trading, you'll end up losing if you didn't have a strong drive on your strategies. All those mentioned ways is always potential for all who want to succeed in trading. But it's unfortunate for someone who couldn't establish a good market, once failure is likely to occur.

As long as we can be careful in any trading type, I guess that we can have a chance to make a profit. And related to his failed, I think he can fix his failed, and even he can recover what he loses. But that will depend on how big his efforts to try to recover and learn to fix the mistake he made before.

But I do not suggest to do day trading for him if he doesn't know deeper in the trading. Day trading will need more skills to search the potential coins or stock to trade, and that will also need time to get the right stock or coin.

How many trade did you make in one day?

Most trader who given up and decide to get out of it are day trader as far as I know. They make a bunch of entry in one day and use the same strategy in whole their trade and it is not good in my opinion.

Maybe you have to try being weekly trader because it is not really make you confuse. Even, when you got lost and you will make an evalution carefully of it and you will avoid it when you trade again.

Yeah, I think an evalution is most important thing that must be done by all traders. Because in my perspective having a bunch of strategies for a trader is not an important thing. But, they have enough to have one strategy and they overcome it.

Basically, you must know when does the market opens and when does it closes. Buy as soon as the market opens otherwise you won't be able buy it at its best price for that day. (....)
Is that really stocks work? For every open of the market, it will always be the lowest price? Because I don't think so, they are still some similar on crypto, still unpredictable.

Also in you said about on every the market opens, what if there are some negative news or event happened on the company before the market opens? Market opens and closes does not really matter about on what you said I think.

In stock you need more experience than knowledge. Technical analysis only helps us to understand trends, how trends are moving and where the trend is going, technical analysis cannot tell us 100% of market value, not only does your technical analysis have to understand market setiment, strategy, and experience. In trading you need a lot of time experience of more than 1 month, can not be as easy as it was successful in day trading in a little time after you enter the world of trade, whether crypto, stock, commodity or futures.

Trading intraday is a very risky business. This is not intended for beginners. Day trading gives very little time for reflection; there you need to make decisions quickly. I would recommend trading within longer periods of time.
It’s not that day trading is that risky but just quite very stressful and you must have a very good strategy before you can think of day trading, the stress of it is even the one tiring for me, because in a day, you don’t know the exact time that the coin will increase so you just have to keep an eye on your trade for long and then wait to be able to get the right time to execute buy order and the right time execute sell order.

The thing with day trading again, is that it is difficult to use analysis, so most trader is just like they do guessing work, because reading charts too takes time and the period the trader is using o study it, the time for placing the order must have come and gone, so a trader that will be able to overcome all these must be very strong enough.

Trading stocks is quite a different game than trading crypto. There you have earning reports, events, company acquisitions, mergers, etc. However technical analysis still applies very much to the equity markets. Just that you need to take into consideration the aspects of that environment like the ones I've mentioned ;)

This is much important to know about TA's and have it in our own cause it definitely we can used it the future especially when you are in trading and in business. Failures will be at its near if we don't have this, but it is not enough for us to stop thinking for a new beginning. And to consider such failures as a learning tool which we are able to guide us along with our trading journey.

It is quite unusual cause some of us just quit after they suffer failure and losses. But if we think for positive and if we are strong enough, it greatly we go far beyond the limit.

It is a thing need to realize and day trading is not really profitable at this time.
But I don't know how it is effective by spending the whole day in trading for the just sake to earn some few bucks ever day. But it won't cause we need to sleep, we have to spend time also to our family and a lot of distractions may happen. Day trading is not a simple task neither, the risk is high than of casual trading.

Trading stocks will have so many things to analyze, and not all traders can do it with the right. But in the crypto trading, you could only master one or two analysis, and you're good to go. But it is better to learn another lesson of trading so you can improve your skills and of course, that will be a help for you to determine the right time to trade.

Once I try to visit the trading stock website, and I found that it's too complicated for me, so I try to learn some lesson of trading stock. But then, I feel that I cannot get the point of the lesson and I am back to the crypto trading because that will be easy than the trading stock. If you cannot get the right information in the trading stock, you should stay away from the day trading in stock because that will make you confusing to decide.

Well I myself dont want to commit with day trading as I find it very difficult. It requires added time than I most spend with my lifestyle with cryptocurrency. Day trading also gives you more idea how the market moves every time in every moment while you monitor it. The fact that day trading is hard it should be not a thing on low capital trader or beginners.

i think trying daily trading for stock market is a bit hard, we know price movement for stock and crypto totally different.
so if you think you think daily trading work on crypto, maybe that not work on stock, stock is more likely stable.
maybe you should extend duration to a week, or month or maybe longterm :D

You need to realize that it's a bit like starting your own business. "Many months" is still just the beginning. Nobody is able to start a super profitable business from the beginning. You have to fail many times before you can be successful.

And then when you finally think you're successful, you will get overconfident and lose almost all on a big market crash. But that's okay, because THAT is how you become a good trader. You need experience, you need to see bear markets and you need to see bull markets.

If you have been trading over the last few months, don't worry. The market has been in a super bad shape [1], trading now is an excellent school. You should hang in there and see how you do in the first bull market.

You cannot do away with crypto trading when you are talking about stock. Crypto affect stock a lot for now as money is being moved to and fro of the two. With your technical background, you need to be well-grounded with what is happening in the crypto space to know the time when to pause, continue or quit.

Day trading will be helpful in short term but when we start to realize its long term benefits it doesn't work the risk we did for all those days so that simple holding is way better than any other trading method.

But if we fail in day trading it won't take much time to lose our life savings to the market that is why its good thing to stop doing day trading.

Still it's a tough work for everyone who looking for a steady profit daily , at some point you will have to accept the losses due sometimes the downtrend last for long time and you'll never get your profit everyday, you should aware about this.

That's why you feel failed,  keep doing that but you need to expect nothing but a long term profit accumulated instead expecting a repeated profit daily , it would only make you stressed out.

Please do not think negatively because most newbies lose you in trading-day, as it requires experienced professionals. You need to judge the trend of all Altcoins to make investment choices, so failure always happens. Don't worry, try trying again because I think you'll succeed in the future.
The experience you need to understand that day trading is not a proper way of trading is by loosing your money doing so rather than loosing money if you have a bit of common sense you will understand that day trading only works when the market moves higher. Leverage trading is good but the risk is always higher in that too, always go for the safest option all the time rather than taking too much risk.

iv'e given up trading mostly because im bad at it :x, i should get back in the saddle though. looks like its about time.

Day trading is only for those guys, who work with the cryptocurrencies for a long time and know the rules of the crypto market. Bitcoin should be watched all the time even if you trade altcoins. The main features of day trading are:
- Serious preparation;
- Correctly determining the hour ranges;
- It is important to calculate the volatility on the selected coin.
As you see, profitable day trading is not possible without a clear plan.

I am almost the same as you but I trade cryptocurrencies, the problem with day trading is that the profits we make in a few days may not be enough to cover the losses in a day, maybe the problem lies the fact that I don't control and constantly trade daily, and often let my emotions overwhelm my mind.

If you can't control your emotions to some extent then trading (especially day trading in particular) isn't something you should be engaging yourself in, as you're not only losing but doing yourself more harm than good. The skills of trading requires discipline, smartness and a little bit of luck factor on your side. If you don't have any of those then you have to go back to the drawing board instead of continue to day trade.

As for the OP, stock trading and crypto trading aren't the same market although the similarities between the two market are observable. You might do well in cryptocurrency trading if you were once a stock trader but that can't be said towards a crypto trading moving into stock trading as it's more complex than cryptocurrency. I'll recommend you learn the skill or how to analyze the stock market instead of trying to use the technical analysis of cryptocurrency to try trading stocks.

therefore we must not force having to trade every day. waiting for the right moment to trade I think will give good results. adhere to the analysis to wait for time to enter the market will be better, although sometimes we can not wait to trade immediately

It is very difficult to do day trading in stocks and crypto because we need to always search the opportunity from each coin or stock. I found out that we need to analyze one by one so we can get the right coins. But in the crypto trading, I think he will have many times to trade with many coins because I see that all coins now are moving from the bottom price to the high price. Maybe he needs to stick to the top 20 coins list, and after analyzing some coins, he will find the good coin to trade.

Embracing into the real life of being a trader is just extraordinary. I say this because not all of us are destined to be a trader, not all of us have that knowledge and skill, and also the courage to take the risk. Some of us just think it easy and they'll try, but what it happens to them? Regrets are they get and they blame crypto for their big losses.

I think this is not an excuse and I don't believe to think that we can be like them( successful traders) even we are not about to be like. Trading requires deep market understanding and this is a special skill to be found which it never been present to all of us. Let the others succeed in this field, never chase them cause it surely you will end up into losing.

I think daytrading will make you crazy. It is pretty hard to keep an eye on the flow of information, news, and updates that the market has.
Right now I decided to test out the trading bots, which are doing all the boring stuff automatically. Using it for the second month and has already seen both profit-making potential and a threat to burn the deposit.
But it looks like the bots can work right with the proper care and adjustment.
Check out my latest report if interested: https://tradingbot.info/results/bitsgap-bot-is-making-me-profit-again/

Firstly I want to say that actually day trading is hard than long term trading like weekly monthly etc. And the second one is if you learn technical analysis for crypto trading then you can not use it on stocks markets. So you should use your technical analysis knowledge in crypto trading fully and you should avoid day trading if you fail again and again. Good luck.
If there is a strong desire and have a high enthusiasm to continue learning and correcting mistakes, then day trading will also produce profits slowly, because in day trading it is difficult for us to get high profits. When we always get failures, it will make us give up and look for other options, I think it will be good too if we are not ready with the risks that continue to be faced every day and it will put pressure on ourselves.

Most of the time this two factors needs to be combined, you need to have lots of patience and some good luck in order to place the order in its perfect timing. If things is not working perfectly even you already done everything to enhance your opportunities best not to proceed and find other things, maybe trading is not for you and you need to move on.

Yes, even an experienced person will face due to the market situation, instead of sitting there it is very good to move by recovering the loss. Otherwise, it will take plenty of time to recover the price of what we invested, without luck and patience it is impossible to acquire profits in trading.

You know its more important to learn to keep your nerve in such situations. I think Technical is important too but if you are the weak hearted type or dont have huge amounts of capital at your disposal to balance the odds then day trading is not for you. They should prefer the long term hodl method to make money and to be honest it much better on your general health and sleep.

Practice is important but face it, even if you have practice what to do in case a sudden pump or dump happens is more of a luck and experience thing. To be honest day trading is not everyone's cup of tea so newer traders should attempt both long term and short term trading to see which one suits them best.

Hard works and patience is the key to help us to succeed but not it takes like that so easy.
All the success of our trades is purely depending on the way we manage it. Most traders fail because of the market situation and they never anticipate it before then. Though I think that basic learning for trading is quite enough but I'd mistaken on this, it is a vital thing to acquire deep knowledge and have a good market prediction.

You started your trading journey in the most difficult way by trying day trading, if you spent so much time learning technical analysis and practicing it then you should have read or at least heard that the most difficult way to trade is to day trade, and that is because in order to be profitable you need to be incredibly fast when it comes to your decision making ability, if you are too slow then it is impossible to be profitable.

Now you may wonder how fast you need to be in order to be a day trader? And the truth is that if you are unable to take decisions in a matter of seconds then you are probably not ready to be a day trader.

Doesn't matter whether question is about stock or crypto, the solution is that you have to give up on day trading. Do you feel happy every day? I think no but sometimes there are moments which make you happy, for example gifts and etc, can say the same about trading too. New day isn't new opportunity here, sometimes it's better to take day off, maybe even weeks, your target must be to catch good moment when it worths for you to buy or sell bitcoin. With catching good moments, you'll gain profit. Everyday trading will make you anxious and possibly lead to loss.

For some reason, my friends always say that daily trading carries a much greater risk than trading for a longer period and there is no free time because of this.  In addition, I want to pay tribute that it is day trading that gives the best income, but will have to take more risks.  I have not tried using day trading yet, but I want to learn and gain some experience using YouTube video examples.
Lol, I would not say that day trading  alone gives more result, it is the amount you out in investment that yields more result, it is not every day that most trader will tell you that they make enough profit because they put little amount to trade, if you really want to enjoy day trading, you have to be able to trade with big amount of money, or if you are the type that knows how to leverage, you can make bigger profit with little money, but the risk that is involved like you said is the problem.

Day trading is just too risky for me, and I will rather prefer to be a holder than to be a day trader. Holding is less risky and as the price of the coin you are holding grows, your own investment also grows without putting much effort other than the initial effort of buying and selling and the initial stage.

If there are stable cryptocurrency price fluctuations every day, then day trading seems very easy and brings very good profits.  But what to do In such situations, which is today, when you expected oll.tv to reduce the price by one or two percent a, and today Bitcoin and Ethereum have decreased by 5% in 7 days (BTC) and per day (ETH  ) respectively?  this is another black streak in my trading career.
Well, it that be hard in crypto trading...we feel unlucky sometimes especially when we buy it today and suddenly it drops down. This will be a big struggle of every trader, that is why we need to be patient and stay calm in every downfall scenarios so it can help us to stand from what we wanted to happen in our life. Many have been to try this life but not all of them stay longer cause they have fear and has been controlled by their emotions.

Risk is everywhere, be it day trading or long term trading. One benefit of day trading is, it has small SL whereas long term trading has bigger SL, the same goes for TP. Day trading is more stressful but have more setup to trade whereas long term trading is less stressful but it has few setups, you may find setup once in many days.
If you are thinking to go for day trading, I have one suggestion for you, always trade in the direction of higher TF, you will have more successful trades than failed trades.

my question is about stocks not crypto

It's not really easy to do a day trading especially with stocks, and I guess technical analysis alone is not enough to make a winning trade, you have just practiced TA for months and you cannot say that you are already good at it. Try to make a further learning about all the strategies that you are using and a deeper observation on the market.

If you never fail then you are too perfect for human being lol , a failure is a must ... so you can learn from what you have experienced that causing you failed , that's the formula to make anything successful smoothly.

First of all you need to learn :

- about money management
- about emotion management

Besides the technical factors that it is a must for a day trader. You need to take a break after monitoring the charts all day long or a couple hours straight.. it has a huge impact on your making decision psychology.

Stock trading will be more complex than crypto trading. In stock trading, you need to know the news from many sources, including the economy that happens in that country because stock trading will depend on the country situation and condition. Besides that, I think in stock trading, you always need to monitor the market in many hours, and it is too difficult to analyze the chart with many analysis. You need to master the analysis and that will not just 1 or 2 analysis.

Yeah it’s not easy to make good technical analysis you will have to practice it allot. Never be a child or to be over confident you could revert. Day trading is fully profit but it needs highly knowledgeable steps. You will have to choose a good coin so you can invest your money safely. Don’t listen anyone just believe in your own analysis and take wise decision a.
It is not really important to have a good TA's cause in the first place the market still unpredictable. The most important is to knowledge about the market condition and could be a basis of our trades. However, it is much more advantage of having TA's but not really a thing we should have to depend on. We have to decide also what would be best for our self.

Many traders suffer losses and failure just because they really know what they are doing, trading is not a game we will just watch but it is a thing that needs more actions and focus.

I have a friend that is also doing day Trading, both cryptocurrency and market stocks, and he says that it is a lot more complicated than the other way of Trading but the earning is awesome, though you just need to spend more time, efforts, and you have to forget sleep sometimes if you really want to earn big. Day trading means you have to stay alert, the market won't wait for you to spot that there is a big drop price that will happen.

It could happen in just a few seconds and the price would go up or go down more in an instant, and you'll be pissed when you didn't catch the fish, and you will wait again.

Many people talk about the early investors of bitcoin and how much money they had made and that is true but there is only one bitcoin and unless you invested back in the day then those kind of gigantic profits are not possible right now in bitcoin, so you need to look at other coins if you want those kind of profits and when so many of them are scams this is a very risky strategy.

Everything can be learned if you are keen to succeed from any venue or fields of investment. Each time you choose your assets it should be accompanied by deep researched and studies, many people forget about learning first the process and find every single information from the venue whatever place you selected.
Both crypto and stock have influence that matters to understand and mastered to take some extra edge from other traders inside.

A guy who decided to try himself in this type of trading should be very observant - you need to monitor the market on-line. Operational thinking is also a must for a day trader. It is necessary to accurately determine the local current market entry. If a trader cannot determine such a point, then there is no point in trading daily. Of course, no one cancels the skills common to all traders, such as knowledge of theory, the ability to place stop orders and exit points from a position.

I was considering to become a day trader too but it is not easy not as it seems. Firstly, you need to know that there is a zero sum game, so, you should be better than others so that you can make money. Secondly, there are very powerful rivals for day trading which is bots. In the near future, I think, there will be no human day trader but the algorithms. It is very hard to follow all the indicators manually. Bots can do it very quickly and get the profit before you. I am morely focused on bots and configurations of indicators these days.

I had burnt my account twice while day trading because the market moves faster even with the knowledge of TA it amount to losing my portfolio however after switching to a minimum of 4 hour time frame I was able to make some progress, having much time to study, analyze and accurately predict price movement while the price move at a slower pace although some losses are incurred however overall I was profitable.

There are many trading services on the internet. You can just pay up for the services. You can learn from those pros by watching them trade for you.  You need a experience on trading if you want a constant win on trades.

I experienced switching into gambling when the time I lost too much money trying and trying to trade until I learn and switched back to trading, Reading different articles/blogs on how to succeed a trade.

Day trading is good and very profitable if you are an expert in trading but i think it needs more capital to do that because if you dont have a large amount of money to play day trading you will only just losing your capital in trading fee and also in fluctuation of every trading you did. I suggest you to do a long term trading and ve patient so that you can earn a good profit.
Whether stocks or crypto in order to do day trading you must be alert and active all the time. Because other’s failed due to of lack of knowledge in terms of the market switching price becomes up and down. True it is indeed profitable for day trading but if we know nothing how it goes we may ended up losing money. Some had many attempts to do day trading but failed must opt for long term goal to minimize losing money.

In stocks, even in crypto, it is difficult to just rely on technical analysis. It requires a combination of both technical and FUNDAMENTAL analysis. Theres actually a lot of references online available to discuss this, but in general, fundamental analysis refers to looking at the fundamental qualities of a company/investment, and from there, judging whether or not it is a solid investment.  Day trading is not something to take lightly, some people do it as a full time job, you are competing with them, remember that. I wish you nothing but the best!

I stop following because it was really time consuming for me, I think there are people who are good in TA, at least from what i saw on that group most calls where always right and all members do make profit, many people rely on his signals to buy and sell.

Actually, Technical analysis is much more of an emotional contest with you vs your mental ability. Many are able to learn technical analysis and its basics but most do not have the patience or the mental strength to survive in this market. Moreover day trading is even more difficult as everything happens so fast that before you can get a second thought about anything the time has already passed. So my advise to you whether it is stock is to prepare a strategy based on tools of technical analysis which you have learned. Then back test the strategy atleast on 30 occasions. Then you need to practice this strategy with your setup for atleast a 100 trades and you have to stick only to your setup and nothing else. Only this way you would be able to achieve success in day trading. Stick to your plan always even if it giving loss.

trading in stocks market more to basic technical analysis which is considered by many professional traders to be able to read stock market movements accurately and tend to be precise. I have several friends who just follow the advice of some trading analysis that provides information and daily trading advice that must be done. if you are not sure of the technical analysis that you learned yourself why not listen directly to suggestions from various sources that are actively providing technical analysis in the stock market? I'm sure in every trading community group has someone who gives advice on what to do in the market.

Dude, no condition is permanent, you can't win all the time. So what if you failed for a day? Even professional traders with years of experience don't win every day because there are just bad days in life. In life we normally win some and lose some.

Based on the statements of my friends, the daily trade really brings very good profits and for many is the main source of income. But apparently, it is necessary to spend enough of your free time to monitor the crypto-currency market constantly, and also possess only valuable assets that really have a beautiful volatility every day. But nevertheless I do not know what the threat can hide.

if a traders fail then it means more research needed.

This strategy does not work for all people. A trader who decided to try himself in this type of trading should be very observant - you need to monitor quotes on-line. Operational thinking is also a must for a crypto trader. It is necessary to accurately determine the local current market entry. If a trader cannot determine such a point, then there is no point in trading within one day. You will have to work at a very fast pace also. If you cannot deal with it, do not start.

Incorrect, trading is a skill that can be learned but like any other skill it requires effort and time and most people are not willing to go through all of that in order to learn the skill, many people think that when it comes to trading it is all about luck and that those that are able to get consistent profits just got lucky, but that is not true what you need to do is to create a strategy that considers all aspects of trading.

Once you have done that now it is time to apply your strategy regardless of what your feelings are telling you, I know this can be quite hard but it has to be done otherwise there is no point in having a strategy if you're not going to follow it.

Doing day trading is really hard since you need to always check the market and their chart and it will consume a lot of time since you need to focus monitoring the prices if it will go up or down.

As you know, I failed doing day trading too and I change my way of trading. I do trade every weekend GMT timezone since that's the best time for trading and you need to have a target price and don't be too greedy.

Day trading is very high risky always. Not only you i think majority of the traders failed in that case. You will be never successful in daily trading within very short. Market is moving badly so i think weekly trading is the best way at the moment. Only a few months to research hard to be successful it’s totally very difficult because still you aren’t a experienced trader.
Remember you can be a good trader when you do it regularly. Day to day trading is more likely depending on the current new/hype of the community. Everyone knows cryptocurrency is very volatile but it can be predicted. We do have some trading tips here in this forum and the post of day traders, We can base on every situation they got and decide if what are we going to do if we experience the same situation. Learning from others is not bad at all.

Stocks are inevitably influenced by a lot of discreet factors that are unique to the individual case of each company, and there is almost always some tacit insider understanding going on.

Company insiders use many tactics to execute their trades ahead of publicly available information, so sudden unpredictable movements are commonplace in single stock trading. If you want to day trade, indices, commodities, fx, and fixed income should be your main areas of interest, with single stocks coming into focus only if you have specialist knowledge on an individual company...

Are you using weekly charts to trade the markets? Because that seem like a very slow way to trade especially this market in particular, I have tried my strategy using weekly charts and it losses money while if I use any other time frame faster than that it earns money and it is my theory that this is because my system can be more responsive to the changes in the market and gets me in and out of the market in a quicker way.

It will be interesting if you could give us at least an overview of the strategy that you are using since I have found no way to be profitable using such a large time frame.

actually daily trading is not difficult, we only determine when the right time to trade, so every exchange has a certain hour for the right time in trading, so I think as a daily trader we must be careful in determining the trading time
Time management is needed and solution for that and Im really sure that a person can easy to handle day trading.
Im always check the price of the coins that I have in exchanges site but It's not difficult for me because I have plan remember the things who is hard become easy if a person plan or time management .  Greediness will result a trader a bad result.

I have been trading since 2011. that’s what I do almost full time. a lot of people think you build your strategy and you are good for life. It’s not how it goes. you need to change your strategy all the time and sometimes your strategy can work really well and sometimes you could lose money. Even if you have good back-testing results that does not mean it would work in the market.

There are very good tools out there, but you need to have your thesis to use them well. for that you have to research all the time. that’s where you spend most of your time; in research, trading it self is automated. there is a lot of calculus, statistics, probabilities and linear algebra involved. It takes time to learn the terms to use these things, but it’s not hard if you are interested. the game is to find your strategy before others.

Day trading is not at all easy task as it is very difficult to make predictions daily about your investment or coins compared to long run where you can speculate price changes more accurately. So you just learn from your past mistakes and gain experience from them and failure is not a term for it.So just gain more knowledge and do research more accurately and gain profits.Don't get upset from your losses just change your strategy and move with the market.

If we failed at once, there should be a lessons learned after all. We must correct all those possible situation that leads the situations become redundant. Once you happen to determine the cause, avoiding it was too hard specially when you're usually doing it for good. However, day trading isn't an assurance for us in getting the 100% profit that we aimed because sometimes we need to be a long term holder just to correct all the possibilities that might bring you towards trading failures.

In theory every time you make a mistake you should try your best to try to correct it, by doing this you will slowly improve yourself and your abilities as a trader, but very few people have a precise idea of what they are doing when they are day trading, they do not really have an objective strategy that tells them exactly what to do and when so it is impossible for them to pinpoint their mistakes and if you cannot do that then it is impossible to correct them.

If you want to improve as a trader then the first thing that you need to do is to modify your trading style in such a way that no matter what happens in the market you always know what you will do and once you do this then you can find your mistakes and then correct them.

I'm not sure he can change his trading style because basically he doesn't have an objective strategy like you said, so the point in this issue is an awareness of what he has done, because no matter what strategy is done because when he can realize what has been done carried out then at least he can learn every mistake and be able to correct these mistakes until in the end he has a lot of trading styles that can be applied in day trading to make it more profitable.

Frankly speaking, it’s nothing major to lose in start, as some of the biggest names had torrid beginning, but it’s just from all that experience that one learns and grow into becoming big deal. If we manage that right, it’s a thing that’s enough and this is really where our focus needs to be. We should just continue to get Trading Education (https://cryptolinks.com/crypto-video-knowledge) and it’s something that will get us through to right direction, it’s just what is needed to succeed.

time and lots of trials and errors along the day.Failing for few numbers isnt a valid reason for you to quit but hey its our own choice though since its our own lives and own funds.

And i got REKT doing a day trading but i got more winnings than losing and it will just depends on what token/coin your trading in thr market,

That's why on the total number of traders, only few are really doing day trading, for the reason that its really hard.
However, if you are really competitive and you aim to be successful, you won't give up easily, you will be inspired by the truth that there are people who are making money in day trading, hence that means its possible to be successful.

Yes, I agree with you on this because day trading is not really easy, and that does not make anyone who cannot cope with it a dull person or a weak lazy person, trading generally requires a very strong skill, and also has to do with passion, for anyone to really do well in day trading, there passion for trading itself must be a very strong one first, because it is the passion for it that will drive the person to look for more strategies to use.

Secondly, day trading also requires a full concentration and attention, but with the way people look for money from different angle, it becomes difficult for them to really concentrate on one place for them to focus fully on it. For anyone to successfully day trade, the person must have really perfected its practice for some years on short term trade before embarking on day trade.

day trader must have good knowledge in technical analisys.with limited range, price difficult to predicted.and if we didn't understand intraday support and resistance level we will trapped in wrong position.intraday or swing trade maybe has less risk and it has wide range so safe for us.

In my opinion stock trading and crypto trading are still using the same technique, both still use technical and fundamental analysis techniques. If you want to be a daily trader then what you need to do is to continue to monitor the charts by reading various articles related to coins/stock that you are trading.

I think that makes you fail when trading daily because you are too easily influenced by various issues so that you easily panic and ultimately you only get losses, daily trading should take a little profit and you should be able to see the market situation, if you want get a lot of profit when trading daily the market movement conditions must be crowded and high trading volume.

Sometimes it is impossible to make a profit through day trading because of a sudden drop due to the market fluctuation the one happened today, a trader will not make a profit on a daily basis and it will take some time to execute his sell order. Even though we have higher volumes sometimes it will lead to a sudden drop and it will affect a lot to our investment.

my question is about stocks not crypto
it's easy, but a little difficult. I mean it's easy to make a daily target with a minimum profit. but difficult to do it. take profit of 5% to 10% is good for daily trading. and do not trade with high profit targets. don't use emotions, and stay calm in execution.
But, why are you asking about stock trading here?

Daily trading is not as easy as you think, you must have a lot of experience to be able to determine the right time to enter and exit the exchange place, so you better be able to really learn how to trade properly and correctly first.

Yes, you are right but what actually makes traders keep on trading even during the hard days because they believe the market and they have trust also with themselves. That's the only thing that drives them to survive the risk the fought every day.

We know it was too difficult to earn a profit every day with the current market condition. This will be able to test ourselves and teaches us how we control our emotions. If we are weak hands, definitely can't make the holds but rather to drop off their coins pretty easy.

Day trading is a really difficult job to do due to the fact that  you must have to make an analysis day by day. In my opinion, you should go for a semi long term because not all the times your asset will fluctuate even in crypto. Crypto is somehow better at day trading due to a high rate of volatility so if you are into day trading then go for crypto. Regarding to your loss, just let it happen because this will be learning from you. Loss is the perfect lesson you will learn, you'll gain experience then you will able to handle it in no time.

I am now beginning to study little by little the possibilities of daily trading and am trying to learn to trade with a minimum amount of funds as starting capital.  I already realized that the main task is to conduct a Technical analysis of the cryptocurrency market in order to identify more suitable coins for daily trading.  One way or another, you need to use the “three-touch rule” to set the prices correctly at which you will need to buy and sell.  Of course, this does not give a 100% guarantee of success, because almost constantly you need to monitor the market and monitor what is happening with your assets.  Of course it is difficult, but real.

Cryptocurrency/stock trading is not for every individual cause the control of one's patience level is very important when the market is experiencing simultaneously dump in price while day trading is mainly for advanced or experienced traders and you cant lack the necessary knowledge to day trade and expect a better result. However, some people are better off been just accumulators/long term traders.

It is very easy to integrade trading bot with the platform.
Firstly, I believe you dont bother to read what the OP said because he was actually asking question about stock not crypto. However, Opening an account on a big or influence exchange doesn't save a crypto trader from failure and neither is the integration trading bot because how the bot work is still determined by the user.
I will advise the OP to understand and create his own strategy of day trading cause the technical analysis cant provides 100% result care it was just to make quest/prediction the market price.

Don't rely too much on technical analysis. Why do you have to rely your decisions on signals if you could make your own strategy in trading? If you're failing, then try to check whether your strategy is still applicable. Try to do a series of research and just have continuous learning. The market is really unpredictable so you have to deal with the changes and take it as an opportunity to earn by applying the basics of trading which is to buy low and to sell high.

I will also refer long term trading because in long term trading a person can control his emotions and he can make a good amount of profit and also it is not that much pain staking while on other hand day trading is very risky and it needs a lot of patience, second thing is that day trading brings less profit and one must trade with less amount of money, also day trading is for experts. So I will suggest long term trading to the beginners or those are not that much expert.

You need to adopt changes if its needed or applicable to certain situations. There's a lots of market movements that can't accurately predicted you need to workout and learned on how to adjust if the directions is not doing from your expected movements.

Don't use single strategy but instead try to build more and alternately use and then find what is suited with the market flows.

I think trading failure is the best experience, many factors that cause trading failures include lack of analysis, wrong choice of coins, wrong decision when to sell and buy and other things.  right now trading must be managed well even if it's just daily trading, I think managing those trades is important for traders

Now from that bad experience we will know which ones will be corrected so that there is no mistaking, in trading there are always losses and profits, staying from you how to trade correctly can analyze and read the charts it's important too, and pay attention to the coins if you want to be trade.

To earn from daily price swings is not for everyone. Many people fail in day-trading cause:
1. They don`t have enough knowledge about the market,
2. They have unrealistic targets,
3. Lack of discipline.
Not enough time for daily-trading is also one of the reasons. Day-traders should be active for hours everyday. I don`t have so
much time, that`s why I never tried to day-trade, I`m focused on long-term. To be honest it`s easier and anyone can do, you don`t
need much time to check the news, to see headlines, to check for new investment opportunities, to do a basic research about the projects
and wallets. I believe everyone should invest in long-term first, it`s a good way to learn basics and to make some investment for the
future before you try to risk and possibly lose what you have.

Theoretically, stock trading and crypto trading is not much different but when it comes into real practice, it would look very different and this is not a big problem. It's normal as you may not have enough experience yet to practice. So just go on, mistake made - learn it - things done right.

Technical analysis is good for short-term trading while fundamental analysis is more for long-term trades or holding so he wasn't wrong at all in choosing his analysis and it's just about experience.

Also, he wasn't talking about signals and stock market is more predictable than crypto. You seem either didn't read the whole OP post or didn't try to understand what he is asking about.

2. when do u open position?
3.  when do u exit position?
4. how many RR (Risk:Reward) do u use?
5. how about ur money management?
6. etc

after answering all those questions, we can have the good answer which suit for your problems. because, failed in trading has many reason with it.

Failure on day trading is not the end for your desires to learn a lot more. What's important is that you've learned a lot of things on what makes you more mature with trading. Consider the probables that you fall on wrong asset, that's why you're losing at your trades.

Of course, fail and then attempt harder, starting from the previous failure, which is always a share of most traders participating on the trade day because it seems to be a dish we can all taste very often on the crypto market, and this dish can sometimes be bad, but the lesson that we learn is that we should stay away and don't stick to it in the future. After choosing many good foods and giving up such bad foods, our health status will improve, no longer feel uncomfortable or pressured, life should go forward

Yes, since we have different mindsets and preferences, some people due to toxic in their schedule so they are just holding, some who has ample time to do trade are doing day trading. But, if you have time and doing day trading does not guarantee daily profit too, since the market is volatile, so no assurance and will depend how you will manage your fund.

Not to much the percentage of success in technical analysis, maybe it's just not your luck in that time. Technical analysis is useful to find out market movements in a long period of time, the percentage will continue to increase, so that not for day trade which may be different far away.

The Day trading is not only based on the technical analysis, but it also contains a lot of factors affecting tools, so along with technical analysis, you need to adopt those tricky tools, from my experience in this platform, I think long term trade is more suitable to the day trading, it requires a lot of risks, not only that but also you need to spend a lot of time but the return is not certain for you, so why you choose this risky segment? yeah, it's true that in day trading may avail a lot of profit in comparison to the long term trading, if you have a desire to continue in day trading then you need to control your emotion and follow the trend properly, I think you need to be more watchful in this risky segment.

The biggest issue with day trading is that people don't keep a plan before doing it. It is very necessary to follow the stock you want to day trade in everyday and decide on the amount of risk and profit you're looking for. Close the trade once the profit is achieved and keep the stop loss tight and in place. Never get emotional with day trade. Once your profit target or the stop loss is kicked, close the trade.
People often get sentimental in day trading and come without a plan. One should avoid that.

there is a huge different on them . crypto is highly unstable but stocks are not really that high ( correct me if im wrong )

but when it comes into real practice, it would look very different and this is not a big problem.
yes its different just like what i said earlier. that isnt a big problem if you know how to handle both assets.
all of us are not perfect . failed is a general term for everyone but this is not a reason to not continue.  just keep on practicing and applying what you practice and you will become a better trader at the long run

Basically how the trading works is the same, buy low - sell high. That's why I say not different.

Practicing is not enough if you don't learn the mistakes you already made. Learning and Practicing are two inseparable things
so, selling peanut is same with trading. buy low - sell high ;D
Both crypto and stock trading isnt same, they have different volality, different volume, different regulation, OFC it will be different strategy to do

day trading is hard to do in stock trading, you may try to do long term trading. i think you will get profit with that strategy.
check this :
Why long-term investing is more profitable than short-term trading (https://www.fool.co.uk/investing/2017/02/28/why-long-term-investing-is-more-profitable-than-short-term-trading/)

Stock trading cannot be associated with crypto, as both of them were having huge difference on trading aspects. We don't know yet what's the outcome of that long term goals for trading, because stocks isn't as good as crypto. When volatility stikes in crypto, it recovers immediately unlike stocks behavior which takes more years before the potential profit will be achieved.

i have learn technical analysis and practicing it for many months now i am good at it , but when it comes to day trading stocks move as market moves if markets go up stocks go up and if market falls stocks fall where does technical analysis , how to do day trading

my question is about stocks not crypto
I've never been in stocks market but i think its also the same in trading crypto because you don't even know when the price goes up and down.
So maybe learn more about analysis in stock so that you will get a good strategy.

I do too.

To be honest I am not really into stocks until I met cryptocurrencies.

But as far as I know, day trading is really hard especially if you don't have that much to invest in it. If you can't invest a good amount, it is best to not do day trading.

You can't simply said like stock and crypto in trading are same. Both are different, in stock you still can analysis whether the price in future by judging by their company and bussiness (it will be longterm or not), while in crypto, everyday full of unpredicted thing. You can't even predict in the future in crypto.
That's why even you already experienced in stock, doesn't mean you can do same thing in crypto

Usually what makes someone fail in scalping or trading on a daily basis is that they cannot be consistent with the plan that has been prepared. the result of greed is causing chaos in planing trading. this is usually what I face or scalping to be applied.so that emotions can be controlled is indeed quite difficult in practice

Theoretically, stock trading and crypto trading is not much different but when it comes into real practice, it would look very different and this is not a big problem. It's normal as you may not have enough experience yet to practice. So just go on, mistake made - learn it - things done right.

Spamming signature, aren't you?

I am also of the opinion that analysis play a very important role in making right decision at right time in this world of digital trading. You cannot make all decisions on your own, without reading experts views and technical analysis taken. With the passage of time, as the trader gets more experience he can get more benefit from such tools. No one can blow arrows in air when dealing with assets like bitcoin and Ethereum.

I think trading failure is the best experience, many factors that cause trading failures include lack of analysis, wrong choice of coins, wrong decision when to sell and buy and other things.  right now trading must be managed well even if it's just daily trading, I think managing those trades is important for traders
All the factors enlisted by you which often lead to failure in day trading.  Day trading is a tough job and believes that you need to be highly active mentally and emotionally stable to carry out day trading. I am that is why not much inclined towards day trading exchanges because they do show you chances of winning good profit but usually people fail to do so.

Mistakes are the stepping stones of learning and if you dont accept and learn from those things then you would really be stucked up with that trading style.
Always make a room for improvement because trading isnt something that can be attained easily specially when we do talk about profitability. It will always takes
time and lots of trials and errors along the day.Failing for few numbers isnt a valid reason for you to quit but hey its our own choice though since its our own lives and own funds.
This is something that many do not seem to recognize, making mistakes from time to time its fine this just means that you have room for improvement, the dilemma appears when instead of doing something people do not really do anything about it, this can be very problematic because if you do not correct your mistakes you are bound to repeat them and when it comes to trading mistakes can be very costly.

This is especially true when you are trying day trading which is a style of trading in which you need to make many trades per day, this makes the possibility of making a blunder very high compared to a style of trading that only requires a few trades per month.

Mistakes, losses, failure are not reason for us not to pursue trading if we really want to, actually it is easy to learn trading now as we do have a lot of free tutorials in youtube, all we have to do is to watch everything we needed, let us not procrastinate if we want to change our life, there is no magic in trading it is a process too, you will only fail if you will quit.

Indeed. Technical analysis in not enough for you to be good in trading. Everyone have experienced making mistakes in doing trading for their first time because it is not really that easy to trade, that is why a lot of people always experience losses and regrets. For you to have improvement in trading you should ask people who has more experienced in trading and watch video tutorials on what ways and strategies do they do in trading because these things that i do when it's my first time in trading .

following the rules with daily targets or when prices go down is sometimes a problem for most traders. ambition with greater profits makes them raise targets when prices are experiencing an increase. I think it can be a lesson when I want to trade in the next period.that way we already know the risk

There are a lot of platforms providing demo account and free capital to play and I can say most of them are using demo to attract people to join by giving them more winning, this mostly happens on forex or binary platforms.

I didn't find this strategy on stock or crypto trading platforms and it's always okay to use demo but just don't be easily believe it as the real trade could be much harder.

Any investor will go through this period and it is your worst time to enter this market. Last year I failed to make a profit but I did not give up because this year I have a new investment strategy to be able to make money the safest way in this market. Of course there will be times when I feel very depressed but then I continue and always learn new knowledge.

In fact, very few investors have great patience because they do not have good faith in the projects they invest in and often panic when bad news appears.

I am very happy about your mind-set like most of the people after failure do not think that failure is a means of learning, they just lose their heart and then give up considering themselves as failure. I think everybody should learn from their own failures and experiences. I think day trading is just another name of experience and knowledge, so day trading need these two things.

To be a stock trader you should initially figure out how to contribute. You should know the items and the business sectors wherein they exchange, how security exchanges are cleared and all the more critically you should know the principles that administer those items and markets. So you should realize what you're doing, for what reason you're doing it, and how to do it.

You need a composed sound trading plan with rules that won't just help you yet more significantly ensure you, for the most part from yourself.

- A composed money management program is basic.
- You should have adequate trading/investment capital.
- You should have adequate exchanging/speculation capital.
- A full and complete comprehension of the guidelines of the business.

In summary, to comprehend day trading of stocks, you should study more.

and always remember to learn from failure, because with failure we can be more careful in making decisions.

Sometimes we are to scared to put investment and lose a big opportunity, sometimes we are too confidence and lose a big money. The second one is sometimes caused by this demo account.

Again, I didn't find a crypto or stock platform that give a demo account and intentionally let potential users to win more to attract them, but we need to be careful from the start.

For me you are not yet failure in trading as long as you didn't stop or quit yet, failing and losing some money is just normal in trading while you are studying it, you are earning and learning thru your experience at the same time, you have to bring a lot of patience, as trading is not instant, although you are sure of your chart reading, still the market is unpredictable and can be reverse anytime.

Keep enhancing your skills will help you to improve your chance of getting good outcomes, failing from the start if you are keen to learned will helps you to keep on trying, there's no accurate calls or exact position from each day that you'll going to participate with this business, all you can do is to anticipate and keep trying much harder. Don't be afraid if once you lose your investment, keep yourself up and be positive that in anyhow you'll be able to catch it up and get into the game with positive outcomes.

Setting a goal before trading is one of the key points to a successful trading, and you are right, many people fail because they lack vision, focus and they lack planning. Good people that wants to be successful in trading even have journals that they use in keeping record of their trades in order for it to point them to the right direction on where they are getting it right and where they are getting it wrong, and I am sure that most journal will point out their failure as greed and lack of set goal for their profit.

If we already set a goal for our profit, it will not be difficult for people to be able to trade by scalping and other means of trading. Day trading is had, but if we follow the rule of day trading, then any trader should be rest assured that success will be theirs.

Yes, there are many people failed in trading because lack of knowledge and they don't know how to choose the potential coins. Choosing not only the coins, but also we need to be very patient until we make profits, sometimes we need to wait more time and it will make to lose our patience and start selling the for loose. Patience and Commitment are the best when we are into trading.

Have nothing to blame for our failures but its only ourselves. If we are about to enter this game see to it that we are ready for all the possibilities that we may encounter in the coming days. As we know that trading is risky and for that, we have to make a decision carefully. Choosing the right coins to trade is a big help that could help to make sustainable and profitable trading.

For me, it's tough to assume, especially to do that, you will be successful in every trade that you do, face the fact that you will be having a bad day that all your TA is very inaccurate on your expectations. I'm sure all daily traders experience ending up falling in one day. But remember that it's okay because you can profit well after recovering and making a great TA and calculations. There's always a risk in every trade, so make sure that I will be appropriate on your calculations. :)

There's always a risk and that can't be change as even skilled traders also suffer from mistakes of miscalculating the situations. Day trading with stocks influenced by news it can also be applied with crypto if you do followed the patterned, Though it's different in some ways as there's big whales who can change the directions in terms of crypto market, while with stock where a lots of traders are working every time manipulations is much harder and a need of huge amount of money before making any impact with the daily movements.

While it is undeniable that most of those that try to become traders fail on their quest it is not true that everyone fails, there is a small minority of traders which can make profits from the markets, without a doubt they are the ones that are the most skilled and the ones that have dedicated the most time to trade the markets and to test their strategies to see if they can be profitable on the long term with them.

That being said there is a huge difference between trading and gambling, in most gambling games there is nothing you can do to try to modify the results so they can benefit you, but when it comes to trading there are many things you can do to improve your chances, like learning fundamental and technical analysis.

Maybe you have to explore more about it and always change your style if you failed in 2-3times trade there is something wrong there. The other way around is try different timeframes for you to trade forget about day trading, technical analysis is just a 20-30% of trade excution always matters.

I think new people are often the ones who make a lot of mistakes because this market is a financial market and needs a lot of good experience in trading. If you are able to make a profit during this time period, you are a good trader and anyone would like to become that trader. In fact, the number of people making a profit from this market is very small because they can not control psychology and often panic sell if the market drops suddenly.

In my opinion, it is best to learn from the top experts because they will have a lot of good advice for you and if lucky, they will teach you how to control profit in this market.

I’ll tell you that in the long run you will lose most of your money anyway. And it does not matter whether it is trading or a casino. Both of these sectors do not guarantee a stable income and failure is achieved by absolutely everyone who has not stopped on time.

So you were asking about stocks? I don't think you could get that much of a great tip here unless there is one that is going big outside crypto which is particularly a low probability of that trader being in here.
There should be similarities at least between day trading in stocks and crypto, it could be just the methodology on how you trade they differ at.
Correct because majority here is either bitcoin holder or altcoins holder. Trading is trading and the basic rules do not change in both markets. However, the trend is crypto currencies so a stock trader cannot really find some good answer here. Also, if he has already failed then he should try changing his asset or his trading type. I would suggest short term trading with bitcoin. That is a nice start. What do  you say?

I think what makes you fail when doing daily trading usually occurs because you do not have so much experience that you cannot determine the right time to buy coins and sell coins, and the worst thing is I think you cannot control the patience you have, while trading to be profitable it must be able to control what I have mentioned.

If i face problem like OP, which failed in trading stock, maybe time to change to crypto. If too tired to do day trading, maybe OP can do long term trading with BTC or other big altcoins so he don't need to force himself to make analysis everyday. Day trading usually look very profitable, but i think to make analysis everyday, need stamina and fresh mind and not everyone can do it.

Right we must take interest in trading specially in day trading basically it’s really very important to work with enjoyment, and those people who get bore from trading usually don’t visit market on daily basis which is wrong so I think if someone is feeling tired of day trading then better go for long term trading it will save the money from lose and also will help you gain knowledge about trading.

But be careful that you may not lose all of your money in making mistakes in day trading because there are a lot of my friends who has start day trading without any knowledge due to which they lost a lot of money in the beginning but they did not get it serious so now they have left nothing to trade with, that’s why I am saying that it is good to learn from your mistakes but do not increase your mistakes much.

Day trading is the most risky form of trading and only really experienced traders with lot of knowledge and "sixth sense" are successful in it. But it's also the most profitable and the last sudden ups and downs of Bitcoin price were really good opportunity for day traders. But better don't go for it if you can't be fully devoted to trading, think fast and with cool head and make risky decisions.

Honestly technical analysis has no clear information and basis. So do not give your full trust in any analysis, even study or prediction because all we know that all the action and decision we made will be finalized in our own decision.  Make some activity to learn what you want specially in doing trading. Raised some capital even a small capital to learn it in actual. I will tell you straight you need to learn the short term or day trading before dealing in long term trading because it is more risky.

As statistics show, the vast majority of traders fail in day trading. You've all seen a lot of cool movies where the main characters earn a lot of money in this type of activity or you are so influenced by the advertising of brokerage services, which promises you a profit. But you need to be critical of all promises. The world's leading financiers recognize that the risk of losing a Deposit is many times higher in short-term transactions than in long-term investments. So maybe it is better for non-professionals to just buy some Bitcoins and wait for the price increase in the long term?

Many traders failed when they trade daily.lack of knowledge and skill be the main reason for it.they must know this reason or they will suffer lot loss in their trade.every traders must understand in which trader type they were .this type will help to decided which strategy that they will used .in day trading or long term has different technique cause its trading range totally different.

For any little prey, the best strategy for daily trading is scalping.  But in order to get good results, you must first decide on the choice of really suitable cryptocurrencies for this strategy.  I am sure that for daily trading, such coins as Bitcoin and Ethereum, as well as other cryptocurrencies that are in the top ten of the cryptocurrency market rating, are generally not suitable, because they are more suitable for long periods of trading.  It is better to take such coins into account that have stable price fluctuations within 5% or 10% several times a day for a long period.  Any activity in the cryptocurrency market carries a certain risk, but experience comes only through practical actions, and not only after theoretical training.

It is because of a lot of factors, still they need time, experience and deeper understanding about it, daily trading is not an easy job too, it is stressing to as you need to be full time, you need to devote your time on it, you will have lack of sleep, but if you will do it and you have overcome and learned everything, it will be all worth it.

Slow and steady wins the race and that is the famous rule of nature. The real winner is not the one who apparently is winning the race rather the one who is continuously and patiently struggling is definitely going to earn something extra and precious than fast trader. Always try to trade with small amounts in order to experience different situations that you often will experience in the world of trading.

While the mistakes you make can be a great way to motivate yourself to improve as a trader we must remember that trading is not exactly like other activities, if you make a mistake when doing almost anything else most of the time there are no negative consequences for making those mistakes but when it comes to trading a single mistake can cause you to lose so much money that not even the best trader would be capable of recovering that money.

So the best way to become a trader is to try to read as much as possible about it and only when you are ready you should try to trade the markets, this can be especially difficult for a newbie because they think that if they do not trade now they're going to miss in a lot of profits, but the market will always be there but the same cannot be said about your capital.

It that was true then nobody would become day traders. But I agree to your point just for the sake of argument, that most day traders actually make more money by promoting their social media channels where they pump and dump their shitcoins and also take membership fees from member who want to be in that group. :D

Long term bitcoin holding is a safer investment. Lets not think of it as a "low" method or being weak. It is safe and it is a guaranteed profit if you have enough patience and willing to sleep over any downtrends.

Day trading is really hard because you need to study the flow of the market and focus on what you're doing every hour. And i've experience the same as you are failing on day trade that's why i switch being a swing trader.

And doing a day trade will make paranoid because you need to always check if there is a signal if its going up or down.

Everyone wants to be able to make money from day trading but the truth is that this way will make you more loss if you have bad psychology. I have tried day trading since a few years ago and made a lot of profits in 2017 but by 2018 everything has happened completely different from what I was thinking. Crypto market is not an easy place to survive because the constant volatility always makes people scared and during that time I just waited and hoped.

This year some big coins are recovering very well and hopefully this upward trend can last until 2020 because this will be a very exciting year for all new investors to join.

Day trading is not for everyone. Maybe for who already expert can do this kind of trading. I not say it means we not worth to try it or something  like that, but what keep happen is people trading and lose and then share their experience, and it is keep repeated. From that case, make me conclude that we must be really ready to do day trading. If not maybe what will happen is like what d3nz said, we can get paranoid because must see market signal everytime.

Day trading is not for specific kind of people. Anyone who is determined can do that. It is just a bit tougher and more time demanding than others. Day traders are supposed to keep an eye on changes taking place on hourly basis. This is a bit hectic. This is why it is nor recommended for noob. People who have a good understanding of their asset and some experience in long or short term trading, switch to day trading.

i have learn technical analysis and practicing it for many months now i am good at it , but when it comes to day trading stocks move as market moves if markets go up stocks go up and if market falls stocks fall where does technical analysis , how to do day trading

my question is about stocks not crypto
I also failed, but in a different sense. a couple of years ago for a few months I 'day traded' before work and actually made about $3000 for the year after all expenses. When I went back and calculated it, if I had simply held the stocks for that time period, I would have made about triple that because of trading fees and missed gains when I wasn't holding the stock. The market was simply on an upswing at that time and I thought I had figured out the system. Overall it was a great experience. I really learned and understood how and why the market does what it does. It taught me that day trading is not for me, but I got a few longer term strategies out of it that I still use today. Just on a much smaller scale and NOT as my sole source of income.

not necessarily. because technical analysis is applicable in many financial markets. forex, crypto, stock, ... because all traders have a common mentality and common knowledge, the price action and price behavior always occur quite similarly.
The important thing about winning or losing is your trading strategy. maintaining a calm and relaxed mentality is one of the factors that helps you to succeed.

No, I don't think it was a paranoid cause that is meant to be and it is a must. The market is so volatile that is why we need to check very often to see if we are hitting the target or not. Being a trader is not easy at first but you can gradually increase your confidence if you already clearly understand the market and the positivity you have in your mind. It is only difficult if you don't know anything, in fact, the most common failures of traders are because of a lack of knowledge.

Day trading is really a tough job to understand the market situation because some it is impossible to predict the market quickly. I tried much time to book profit, but suddenly the market start going down, after waiting 2 or 3 weeks again the prices for altcoins starts recovering. So we need to be very patient in day trading.

In fact, in the cryptocurrency market, no one can be immune from failures.  Nevertheless, many problems can be avoided by adhering to certain rules.  And first of all, the trader and especially the novice must act according to his strategy, which he must carry out step by step. In any case, everyone needs a personal strategy in order to know what to do next.  One way or another, in order to acquire the appropriate skills and get the desired results, you will have to pay a lot of effort, time and money.  It is the lack of strategy that is the beginner’s first mistake.  I don’t even mention the ability to read charts, because without this knowledge one should not even start trading.  No need to be greedy and never use a large starting capital until you reach an appropriate level of professionalism., because in most cases these actions will play a cruel joke with the trader and the loss will be inevitable. But also, each newcomer must learn to use stop loss, which reduces the risk of losing their funds.

One who starts to work learning the basics and go for a small investment find day trading to be risk free way of earning. In day trading profits were booked with the small marginal difference in the market price. On this people won't intend to hold with patience. Also day traders mostly risk big funds when there is very small change in the market to book profits.

There is no easy job at all, imagine if you will work in an office job, you need to render 8-12 hours of your day to them, then after that, you have a boss who will check your reports daily, so, if given the chance that I will be an expert in trading, I would choose and prefer this day trading, right now, will just need a lot of experience first before I will finally resigned and focus as day trader.

Day trading is beneficial only if the trader has sound understanding of how stuff works. If he knows the capabilities of his asset and can follow the basic rules of trading, it is not a difficult task to make money through day trading. For big changes, the asset being traded must be a volatile one. The best option for day traders is bitcoin because of the high volatility it shows within a day. Patience is necessary element too.

Its just the same considering the amount of time that you will dedicate in order to become an effective and efficient trader but the thing is you are now in control of your time and there are no superiors which you need to please. You just gotta do what you want and which is much more convenient to you. But being a day trader is very hard and time consuming since cryptomarket change so fast through high volatility but is also the reason which would earn you a lot.
