I have been in the crypto world since a long time but i have not been able to make my portfolio and never earned anything...i dont have much cash that i can buy many different coins....i have only 0.01 btc right now :-[
Please tell me ways if there are any to earn some different types of altcoins to slowly build up my portfolio with some valuable coins...

I see you've joined minter project bounty, its actually one of the ways to earn money and reinvest in other good projects but this might not come to past if you rely on bounties only, include trading if you want to change your earnings, trading is more active that promoting bounties, all you need now is to learn how

So my next suggestion is building up your profile as crypto enthusiast, and if you have a certain skill set (like great customer service skills, speaking, writing and listening skill) you can apply as community manager in various ICO that is building up their project.
Usually they are not paying in cash but they are using their altcoin as mode of payment. So I think this is one of the best way to earn altcoin that is valuable and if it hit's the market, I am sure you will make a fortune :)

I got most of my altcoin by participating in bounty campaign but some of them are not yet listed on market that's why I still hold it in my wallet. I want to add that by just participating in airdrop campaign you can gain free altcoin but take note all airdrop campaign have some tasks to finish.

It is not easy to earn the altcoin or tokens from participating in the bounty campaign as we know that the situation now is different than in the last 2 year. He can easily make money in the past, but now, it is hard to do as we saw many projects has become a scam and trick the participants and the investor. bounty and airdrop are not good enough to pay us properly. even some project won't pay us, even though some pay and distribute their tokens. but most can never be traded on an exchange because they make tokens cheaply to deceive many people.

This means that they will be paid partially no matter waht the project gets the success or a scam.

As for bounties, they must be patient and work according to the tasks given. All can be done without capital and the key is only one that is focused and diligent in doing the tasks given.

You're not going to be paid very much for your time trying to earn cryptocurrency through this forum using bounty campaigns and other tasks most of the time, and there's likely better uses of your time elsewhere if you're trying to significantly expand your portfolio with coins. I see you've been active on this forum since 2014, and things have certainly changed since then, especially in regards to signature campaigns.

If things really aren't working out for you, investing might just not be the thing for you. Everybody's got skills in different areas, and if you've been trying to assemble a portfolio for some time and you've been unsuccessful, try out other ways of earning money.

Even for bounty now, it's hard to choose the right project that would give a good reward, I think the only stable now are the signature campaign that is paying btc in a weekly basis but the campaigns are pretty limited compared to bounties.

If you have some good translating skills then it will be an easy task for you. You wont spend too much time in joining their facebook or twitter campaigns.

Even some successful bounties never have a good market value which means that we can't be ascertained if that project could be profitable or not.

It was so tired joining any airdrops these days, because most of them has no definite value in the market. I got some tokens on airdrops but it only worth 0.56 usd, and that's so frustrating since I was expecting to earn profitable even though it's a free altcoins. Seriously? For me it was a huge waste of your time ::). Faucets are give huge rewards back on the pioneer days of btc, but now it literelly give you cents only. You can't even  pay your internet subscription if you will solely depend on it. Bounty Hunter : as the name suggests, if you want to get free Bitcoin or Altcoin as a bounty hunter, you have to carry out several tasks of a project or company within a certain time period to get a reward in the form of Bitcoin or Altcoin. usually to be able to join a bounty program, there are several requirements that must be fulfilled by bounty participants. and even now I am still following a of bounty campaigns to get altcoin

The last thing I know but I have never followed this method is to become a bounty manager to get free altcoin. as I know that the bounty manager is a person or group of people who are in charge / working to manage the needs or goals of a project so that the project's objectives are achieved with rewards that are in accordance with their measurements. Usually the Bounty manager of a project is an outside party to the project but sometimes there are some bounty managers who are from the team of a project.

Doing airdrop is the best and easiest way to earn free alts , but it's random value and mostly few of it. And the second way is doing faucet and bounties. It need a bit of work but the result is quite nice

Now regarding your concern - you can participate in bounties and faucets but you will earn very small amounts unless you have good content creation skills. Can you recommend airdrops where users could earn free alts, I have not seen good airdrop for very long time, frankly most airdropped tokens are sitting in my wallet, can't find projects lol. Faucets won't bring you much progress and bounty will give you good number but token value is another number hehe.

Some are just waste of time and some can be a way for your account to be scam. There is no worth giving time on free altcoin because very few are true and good project and make success on the development and being implement. Better to work and invest with popular altcoin rather than finding and waiting for the worth of what you think can give you some.

Waste of time.  Op's effort would be better spent on any of the other things in your list.  There's not even a fair comparison between faucet earnings and something like doing a bounty.  You could spend several days claiming from all of the moonbit/moonlitecoin/etc. faucets and end up with less than $1.  That isn't worth anyone's time in my opinion.

I think many people will suggest participating in the bounty and when you have benefited from the bounty, you can start by buying some coins that you have the potential to trade or invest in, I think from there you will start to build your portfolio well. .

Airdrops and faucets are just waste of time. You just get less than few cents for like randomly clicking for one whole day. It becomes tedious and tiresome and totally not worth the time you will be spending doing that. It is much better to spend your time doing something more effective. Same goes for the bounties. You just receive a really small amount of payment for the work you will be doing. I have read in a thread that someone earned like only $6 total by working for six weeks!

Now there are very few options to find good projects. I think that you should not even look for them in the bounty section. Look for projects that pay in BTC / ETH and do not waste your time

i think it is too easy to find some free altcoins recently, too many IEO & ICO projects are giving us so many promotions to give us their token, but one thing important here is that the value of these token, some tokens from new projects have no value because the token was not be published on exchanges or scammed projects, so it maybe quite wasting time if we think earning money from airdrops is easy.

AirDrop does a simple task and gets rewarded, but most of airdrop is scam/not worth it and working on it is only a short time.
Bounty (more I recommend) do a task every day and a report for social media, signature except for content and translate you do it only once.
Faucet get free Bitcoins in a certain period of time I do not recommend it because the prize is very little.

Joining signature campaign bounty to earn free altcoin, look with other account which one bounty campaign are joining. Allow their website and check about bounty campaign. When I never new legit bounty campaign, I open bitcointalk forum and looking other signature profile, I research their signature link and looking which one profitable signature campaign to earn free altcoin.

I think the popular way to earn altcoins here is to join bounties, but its not as reliable just like before wherein there are many legit projects that can give us profit. Meaning it has value even after the ICO and is worth holding.

Some ways that I know are airdrop or offering your skills like designing or doing a translation job. You haven't been able to make portfolio because for good research and inactive. Minter was good project but still you don't change for it for inactive. You are missing several opportunity from new campaign. You have nothing else so Binance IEO is the last option to you.

I am not interested with airdrop needed KYC because my document data is most expensive than reward from KYC coins, I think only available for joining airdrop with sumbit KYC on upbit exchange account because there are really trusted site and have higher reward value coin for KYC airdrop participants, other site better not participated.

In the crypto world, i recommend that you join the bounty program for hunters, and the other way is to participate in the airdrop of big projects, listed on the exchange trading. I don' t encourage you to join ICO / IEO, because it' s risky for the current situation.
