Title: Want to learn trading
Post by: pawanraila on October 02, 2019, 09:13:24 AM
Hello guys! Well, I have known about crypto for a while, but never really gone into trading.
Recently I got an interest in crypto trading but didn't know anything about it. So, If anyone here can guide me from where to start and learn about trading?
Do tell me if there is any course available online, free or paid? Maybe in Udemy?
Would be a real help. Thanks!

There's many videos on Youtube of people using different technical analysis techniques and successfully trading with them. To start, I would learn about Bollinger bands and RSI. Don't pay for any courses. It's all freely available on Youtube. I'm sure once you watch a video on Bollinger bands, there will be many other techniques that pop up under the recommended on the right. Just follow those and learn all you can. Then, just start with a low amount(something like $100 or whatever you can afford to lose) and give it a shot.

Yo.

It can look like a daunting subject but go ahead and give this course a spin : https://www.udemy.com/course/the-complete-cryptocurrency-trading-course

Every myth about crypto trading would be busted and you would be well on your way to make $$ by trading the way you want.

Once you are done with that, go sign up on www.suubee.com - You can even follow expert traders and all their open positions.

Funny how you talk about learning and growing using this forum and youtube .. as a trader. I wonder why you couldn't use the same resources to learn how to construct a meaningful sentence in English without sounding like you are writing as if you are drunk.

Let me push you in the right direction.

Head over to : The Fit to Talk English project (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3754793.0) and visit JetCash (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=698159)'s forum here : FittoTalk.com (https://fittotalk.com/english-talk/index.php?topic=371.0)

Maybe you would learn a thing or two.

PS :

@OP sorry for the offtopic rant.

There's a lot of ways to learn to trade such as watching some tutorial on Youtube and learn the fundamentals however, knowledge itself is not enough. You must gain experience upon making a trade and by doing that you will discover what you were supposed to learn such as losing a trade. By losing you will realize your mistake and you'll tend to make the same mistake again. Managing the emotions is matters as well because if you let your emotions manifest upon your trade then it would be quite a trouble. Don't take any trading advice from others but rather you should decide for yourself.

That's really helpful, once you gain a lot of infos from your resources. You should apply what you have learned and start trading. Being knowledgeable will put you higher. It will also teach you to become a disciplined and wise decision maker when it comes to trading.
Enhance your technical analyzation skill by learning how to read chart and graphs for you to know when is the right time to trade.

Good luck and don't became a greedy player on the market since you will chase up the losses if you do so.

I suggest you watch videos on Youtube. You can learn to trade by free on Youtube, and I am sure you will find many good videos that will explain more details about trading. After you read many lessons and watch the video, you should practice so you will know how to implement the lesson in real trading. You can improve your skills by learning from many experiences that will be free on the internet. You don't need to pay for anything while you can find it on the internet.

I guess that if you want to learn anything you need find a good specialist or a cond company where you can have a stage. I guess there is not much information about this topic on the net. But it is always worth searching, anyway I would trust a good specialist here

From my experience, I didn't enroll on any crypto trading courses. Not that I'm against it, but I think it is just a waste of money. You can start looking for Youtube channels that is free and you might pick a thing or two.

I'm sure majority here specially those who have been in the market for too long didn't learn it through online courses. Because most of them started their trading journey by simply opening an account in any trading platform and learn it thru getting their hands dirty on this business.

That's why I recommend that you try it first hand though, its normal to make mistakes in the beginning, and learn from your mistakes and be a better crypto trader. As the saying goes, there's no better teacher here but experience.

There's a ton of great articles on Medium about certain indicators on Medium as well, if you're trying to learn about that. There's also plenty of articles about risk management and many of the other things you need to understand to have a basic understanding of what it takes to trade too; don't shy away from articles that aren't explicitly targeted at crypto trading either. Many of those other things still apply to crypto markets, though you might need to alter certain parts of those strategies or customize a number in the indicators for best results.

I think you need a complete beginners course as you are absolutely new to this trading world. So i would suggest you to go with any basic free course over YouTube and once you are a little bit familiar with TA. Go for Philakone's trading course. He has three courses and each one of them is great. You can easily find them around google as torrents and downloadable files they are not available for sale as Philakone removed them. Only the third one is live at udemy.

You dont really need to pay to learn if you just have the right tools.
One is your brain. Logic and some courage.
Let us get straight here.
Even if you pass that course to whatever school they will offer you, there is still a large percentage that you will lose when are doing it live.

I dont really think it is something that is learned in school specially when it is crypto currencies which have huge volatility.

Why not try it first?
Maybe you will find out it is easier than you thought it would be.

Instead of paid courses try the youtube tutorials on cryptocurrency trading. I don't see much difference between the paid and free tutorials. You can also find quality ebooks on trading via Google.
There are couple of exchanges that offer demo trading. Demo trading would help you practice real trading without risking your money. Google "Cryptocurrency demo trading exchanges" I believe you will find good articles on them

What is trading? Buy low - sell high. So what do you have to explore? Best times for it but you always have to remember you profit because someone losses.
For learning trading you don't need any paid course, don't fall into it, believe me just ignore any course that asks you for some bucks (cause almost everyone promises: Wanna be millionaire? It's possible by trading, just buy this course and you'll get it ---- and similar texts).
If I were you, I would take some demo platform where I would be able to trade without money. I would read informations daily because it affects price a lot, you always have to be informed to consider your further steps, also would take some care of charts too. Don't plan to trade daily/weekly/monthly, trade when you think it's time to trade, just catch good moments, not all moments cause everything you need is only good moments.

My 2c:

  • Get a big picture and develop your trading mindset with: Keywords: Trading in the zone by Mark Douglas
  • Stalk some good & bad traders on social platforms to get a feel of the market and how other traders are doing things. Keywords: Bitcoin Trading Challenge, Philakone, CryptoCred.
  • Stop & let it sink in. Don't overwelm yourself with information, that's an easy thing to do.
  • Actually trade and get your feet wet. Experience is the best teacher and trading is no exception.

Gl!

  • Actually trade and get your feet wet. Experience is the best teacher and trading is no exception.

Money he plans to spend on books, trading courses, paid groups would be better to spend on trading itself.
It's OK to check how others are trading, info about that is completely free. There are traders who share their
analysis and trades here on forum, other forums and social networks. You provided him with the key words and
the rest is on him.
Nothing beats experience! Money spent on learning is well spent money. It can be rough in the beginning,
in rough times you are capable to check are you up for that or not. Anyone should try to trade, later it's easier to
develop skills with at least some basic knowledge about trading.

There are many available articles and videos online to know the basics about trading, just research those and you'll understsnd slowly how things work as being a trader.

In my experience I learned by watching videos on youtube and by the help of someone who guide me throughout my journey as a newbie.

I started with small amount when I tried my first trade and its not easy as it seems you need to have plan and strategy in order to do it right.

The first thing you must have if you have to become a traders is such as follows:

1. You must have capital or investment
2. Must create an account in one of the good or top exchange in the market.
3. Know what crypto currency you like to trade in.
4. Must have knowledge in the actual trading, like candle stick, Rsi, bolinger and etc.
5. Or you can also watch video tutorial about crypto trading

Good luck :)

The best way to do it is through Crypto Videos (https://cryptolinks.com/crypto-video-knowledge), as that’s how you are unlikely to be bored. And the obvious place for that is YouTube, I think we should really take advantage of that. I don’t think this is easy at all but learning is the only way we are going to get success through, so that’s where we have to really work hard. I find it all easier because I know the value of it and that’s one of the prime ways of how one is able to perform.

May watching videos are helping but it was more be helping if we use trading tutorial particularly when we used their site in the first time. It feels not really hard if we adopt the system and eagerly wants to learn. The only problem in trading is that decision making when we finally run our trading career. This is the hardest part of crypto before we feel success.

You cannot go to decision making if you don't have cards up in your sleeve, how could you decide if in the first place you didn't know what move you are going to make. Trading is a long process that needs a lot of time and dedication of learning, not just by watching tutorial videos on YouTube, or exploring a certain trading platform.

The outcome will be the same if you're heart is not really into it, regardless of how many time you try earning in Trading.

Make a plan, thats the first step.

It should include your goals of profit, your limitations to losses, and any other things for planning. The biggest thing is to make sure you stick to the plan.

That would be really stupid to take an online course of crypto trading. There are lots and lots of article on the internet about crypto trading. Again there are (so called) trading experts online who helps users to choose what to trade (although they sometime seems to be biased towards coins they have invested on). Don't join groups that tell you that they can help you make profit by trading. Most of them are scam. Lastly, it is better to starting trading small amount and learn something buy yourself. You will eventually get better and then start making more profits (or maybe loss).

Your experience will justify how you will proceed with those knowledge that you collect by doing your research and all those case studies that you will gather from each sides of learning venues. Step by step, you will be familiarized with any trading strategies that you can use according to your type of personality. Many traders forget that emotions can kill your chances to excel by learning the right attitude, the chance will be much higher to succeed. Keep in mind that whatever you read, watch and heard are all about personal experiences of other people who succeeded from this venue of investment. Without experiencing it yet, it's difficult to conclude if what you have is right or wrong.

You can try to type "Learn crypto trading" in Google, then you will have tons of good lessons that will help you to understand what is crypto trading. You can also watch a video on Youtube to get more information about trading. And if you think that you have enough information about trading, then what you do next is try to register in some exchanges, I suggest you register on Binance. Then you can send some balance to that site, try to analyze some coins, and get the right price to buy. You will see that it is not easy to determine the right price to buy because that will depends on how good the coin will moves. But if you can buy at a low price, then you might wait for a while to sell at a high price. Rinse and repeat, and you will make a bigger profit later.

I don't think it's necessary, a paid course or buy it on udemy because learning trade is free, there are many good people here who give their knowledge for free, it's just how you can learn to persevere and look for it. One of the places I learned when I first learned about crypto trading was blogs and YouTube, only that was my place of study. Learning crypto trading is the same, it's just that everyone who gives lessons has different fundamentals in analyzing, but later you must be able to analyze yourself.

Because not everything in this forum is complete about discussion of crypto trading, this forum is only part of several forums that discuss crypto trading. Crypto trading has a broad discussion and may not be discussed in one forum because there are still many pro traders who are not active here, the newbie must learn from outside as well.

Would be a real help. Thanks!
I don't recommend courses on trading, or anything else. there are so many ways to learn out there that have prepared the material, video, even you can try trading with the demo version. I have principles like this, and maybe you can follow it. I always thought that never make money using the money if it's available free.

no matter how great the material you catch in the course you are taught. I am pretty sure that they are also quite difficult to read charts when it's not stable. I just suggest you try it right away. sometimes experience and failure can be great teachers. try to try demo trading, or try with minimal funds, and good luck.

Just start with knowing the basics. Courses and material, you will find many of them, but be careful about choosing the ones that give you the right information. Don’t go for paid stuffs.

Just read this forum for a while, then go register on exchange like bitmex or okex and start margin trading with SMALL leverage at the beginning.
You need to create strategy and follow it. Then your experience will convert in something more
That is we called a process and we learn more in trading if we consider this thing as an opportunity. The most important thing to start in trading is to learn the basics and learning how to control our emotions is one of them.
Though it looks encouraging to see some traders become rich and successful but never think that they'll get it pretty easy, they have been reaching such success because they work hard on it and they are destined to be like that.

You're actually in the right place to learn things about trading. Most of us here didn't get an online course to learn about trading since there are already lots of informative resources which we could find online. Reading articles and watching informative videos online would be a good start for you to learn the basics of trading. It's a good thing that you're eager to learn in the beginning because it will be a big risk for you if you'll enter trading without enough knowledge about it.

There are many posts on this forum like this and the answers are there. You have to read them firstly. Beside if you are a good english learner then google can help you very much. You will find many articles and blogs about crypto trading you have to read them also. But if you are not good in english then gou should search in your native language in the youtube about Crypto trading. Hope you will findout something helpful. Go ahead strongly.

When investing in cryptocurrency to trade later successfully, you have to be ready to master the mechanisms for storing and trading your funds. You need to open a crypto wallet, if you are going to do this for a long time, you will also need a cold wallet. After that, you need to choose a platform where you will trade. It will also be necessary to go through the KYC procedure (simply read about it on the Internet).

Before you start trading with any real money, I strongly suggest you watch Oliver Stone's masterpiece the first Wall Street movie,
which to this day is being obsessively played on loop on many trading floors :),

and check out the book Way of the Turtle: The Secret Methods that Turned Ordinary People into Legendary Traders,
which has astonishing real life accounts of how some complete laymen were turned into expert traders by way of an experiment, and how even legendary traders can turn into bankrupt losers if they cannot adapt or remain ahead of rapidly changing market dynamics...

Keeps searching is what it means, and I really agree with that. It is our own call and for us to make more inputs and discoveries. Though we have a lot of trading platforms but its all the same, buying and selling inputs are all the same. The more we engage in real gambling rather than of reading and watching youtube, the more we gain ideas. I may think 2-3hrs spending online research is good enough to guide us. The next one is all be ours, our decision.

Why not use the modern technology?
There is youtube out there unlike before where we need books to get information and knowledge.
Now you will just need the internet and take all the knowledge in a simple way of listening and watching.

I guess reading is not that much of a help by now since it hurts their eyes just looking on paragraphs. ;D
Also, experience might help. Try spending 20 to 50 USD and just risk it.

I know this much be helping as they become successful because they are doing it right. And we can figure it out how they do, it possible we can also be like them...a mirroring system.

You can follow traders style and you can add your own understanding to increase your chances, simulators if you are not ready to use your hard-earned money is very useful to try how the strategy will work. Most of the time, traders who spend time working out with their knowledge before entering the market get higher chances to survive and succeed from this field of business.

It's best to accumulate more knowledge before you begin, remember that the industry is same with the wild, predators is just waiting to beat you up. being ready and well equipped is the best thing to do avoiding to lose your investment.

I myself learn about trading through this forum, because this forum is very useful for me. I can ask something that I didn't know to someone either through the thread or via PM and most of them feel disposed to help me in order to I can understand the trading science, this board also https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.0 is very useful and you can followed it and make as a reference when you trade.

More than that, I look for on youtube channel, yeah I think youtube channel will help you to stay calm if you find some problem when you are trading. Just a little suggestion from me, just focus on one strategy and you can deepen it. I mean, you have to find some strategies and pick one of it that you consider the trading strategy is suitable with your fashion. Because I just feeling when we have a bunch of strategy but we can't be able to master it and it will be useless, you will confuse when come to entry.

What you need to pay attention to in trading is that you must always be in a patient condition, never be emotional, because if you are emotional the conclusions we get are often wrong. You also need to study 2 market analyzes, with technical and fundamental analysis.

Yeah we can learn trading by any way as there are a lot of options we can read those articles and we can use YouTube also there are so many social sites which gives guideline about trading. New traders should only have pay once and never be emotional about investing your money. Just never think about panic and trade for long term.

Learning trading is not a big deal now, as you said now a day learning it from tarding is positive potions of trading. We can use Facebook and Google in this regard we can go for YouTube and so many other website which gives knowledge about trading. To become a good traders it’s important to learn trading skillfuli from any official site.

Well, it's combination of skills, market research and experience which will help one to become a successful trader rather than just a theoretical knowledge. Trading is not for everyone as it requires lot of patience and we need to be up to date every single minute about the market affairs, I would suggest trading with a small amount and learning from the experience will help.

If you want to learn on how to do trading without putting too much effort on reading and searching for the articles and other stuff online. It is best for you to just stick on youtube and do some keyword searching about on what type of trading do you want to learn, is it stock market, forex or cryptocurrency. They are all in youtube and you can watch a lot of useful videos there.

Watching youtube videos are easy thing to do, the most crucial part is if you are starting to apply what you have watched on youtube to figure out if it is going to work or not. Trading or whatever things we wanted to do to earn money, or to live, we need to do trial and error always, that is the only way to find out. I'd rather risk something than living myself thinking forever what is going to happen, that's dumb.

and not everyone learns by watching youtube videos, we have different hobbies or ways of learning, just saying.

Trading is a combination of our mind and skills in my personal own opinion. Because you will review the chart motion in the graph, meaning you need to learn how to read chart, like candle stick, indicator and bolinger, or RSI, but of course you need to start with the basic mate. You must have capital for buying a coins of course, then have an account in the platform you are going to trade in.

Without learning to trade, it is very difficult to know where the market moves, and it will be hard to analyze the next thing that might happen. To learning trading, it will need to before you can analyze the movement from every coin so you can decide to trade or to stay for a while. Besides to just learning, you need to practice that will help you to understand the point of what you learn so that it will be useful to you to make a profit. You don't need to learn the intermediate lesson, but it is enough if you can learn how to know the right time to enter the market.

Then deposit some money and start trading, what`s stopping you? You wish to learn by watching how others doing that? To pay for tutorials that gives you nothing? Better start trading and what ever you find confusing search about it, come here search forum about it, 100% you will find your answers cause it`s been posted more then once here.
Nothing beats experience, experience comes from practicing, over and over again. If you lose couple times you will find ways that don`t work, try another way, new approach, more you try more chances you have to become successful. Simple as that, you just need to decide to spend some money on trading.

You just need to log in to your account and you could find the video in the link they are going to provide.

trading is not an easy matter, there are many things to learn, start technical and fudamental analysis, psychology, money management, try practicing on a demo account to understand market trading.

It's very important to enhance your skills first before you start your business, with your good and balance emotions finding the source of learning will be much easier. The market for this venue is really volatile if you jump inside without any knowledge chance of losing your  capital is higher, but if you have enough understanding and your willingness to keep on improving, you have a big chance to succeed.
Using demo accounts will let you understand how things works inside the exchange, from on-hand  experienced you can see to yourself if you are capable to take your journey inside this industry.

I'll tell you this straight forward. You can learn technical analysis from books or the internet( I recommend babypips.com), but how you apply them in tandem with risk management and controlling your emotions is the key being a consistently profitable trader. That can be learnt by experience or if you can find a REAL, good mentor online which is kind of hard to find and diferentiate from the scams and posing traders out there. Remember that the statistics show that around 95% of traders aren't profitable. That is mostly because of their lack of experience and attitude/mindset over trading.

I apologize, but it seems to me that using telegrams to get information and training in trading is very dangerous, because Telegram today is crowded with scammers who are trying to trick people and profit from new traders.  Of course, if we are talking about specialized groups where people trust each other, then of course you can use the information and listen to the advice of professionals.  But I would not recommend using any Telegram bots, because I did not have a very good experience.

Just like Jating said, nothing better can teach than experience - by means of trials and mistakes. To ease the pain, you need to research and self-educate constantly.
Additionally, you need to pick a simple and friendly exchange. In this case, I would recommend you to take a closer look at CEX. The website has not only tutorials for almost every section, but also offers its infobot, https://t.me/CexIoInfoBot, for usage. With its help, you can exchange rates and market movements 24/7 via notifications on Telegram.

I learned back in the day on how to day trade in Binance. I don't recommend you to jump into day trading as you might be culturally shocked to how stressful it is to monitor the price the whole day (not literally 24 hours) and doing sell and buy repeatedly.
You gotta learn the trading tools provided in there and yes I recommend you also to use Binance for community support.
We must know what our goal is, if day trading you'll be need g to focus on it a lot unlike in holding or just setting some schedules in when and what to buy as trading is not a job to do regularly with profit there are times of loss.

There are many cryptos exchange companies out there offering tips for beginners. You can start by going to their social media and reading up post that can help you understand more about trading. or you can try cryptocurrency trading simulations or start investing small.

As you go, you'll learn how trading works. Doing your own market/trends research is also very important as the market can always be changing. In the world of crypto, it is very important to understand and predict how the market pattern flows. Once you are experienced with how things work, you have already mastered the skill of observing market patterns and trading precautions! You can then start investing in bigger currencies.

You can also check out this link>>:https://digifinex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000639562--Community-Token-Listing-The-rules-of-Community-Token-Listing-Round-9
to find out how you can start small through a community or with friends.
This is a community listing platform where people can gather to create a community and earn reward tokens that can be traded in the market.

Here is the link for their current event happening now (till 17 Jan)>>: https://www.digifinex.com/en-ww/listing/apply

Hope this helps.

I think it doesn't matter where you start, but you have to know how to learn analytics. Learning analytics for newbies is very difficult, because everythings are very strange. Therefore, I think that you should start trading according to the news, there are many groups created to guide trading on Telegram. Most of the groups are led by experienced people, whenever they offer analysis and direction of trading, you just have to follow it, of course you also need to learn how they did it. This way will give you a lot of experience. Good luck!

I started learning trading 3 months ago and it's completely free. My way of learning is to be passionate and search for material that you can read anywhere. I recommend that you ask more than the people who came before you, they will show you where you can gain the best knowledge. but there are certain indicators you must learn if you want to have a high win rate. They are EMA, MACD, RSI, Fibonacci retracement, trendline. Those are all indicators I have memorized and made a lot of money from.

Thanks!

A great way to learn how to trade is by watching more expreienced trader and seeing what they do.eToro (https://www.etoro.com) has a really helpful copy trader feature that allows you to mirror these more experienced traders with just a click of a button.

Copying their trading style will be a one option for newbie traders to learn and they should be more resourceful since there are some hidden strategies that are not been used by certain person so they should explore it to became more stronger trader in future but also they should not forget to learn the basics since this is more important and no short cut so that they will observe the step by step flows.

in trading sometimes when following their trading style but the results can be different, it is better to learn from close friends who are experts or in private it will be better because we will get more detailed trading lessons. but if you don't want to spend money on it, yeah in this forum many threads share about how to learn trading. always start with a small amount because this is a high risk.

I recommend that you read books of market speculators, since technical analysis can be learned anywhere, it is first that you learn to analyze the market, that you learn the phases, that you understand how it moves and the possible causes, most of the academies They teach the same indicators.

Among my favorite books, I recommend: Wyckoff, Livermore, Warren Buffet, which apply to the Stock Market but are equally applicable to the Bitcoin market. Once you start to understand the market, if you study technical analysis anywhere, on YouTube there are many free courses.

Good luck!
I do not really think following anyone can be profitable in terms of trading. There are a lot of people who might give you fake calls just to fulfill their buy/sell orders and to make benefits for themselves. Even i went through a number of such channels/groups giving out calls for trading but i do never trust those because they are misleading many times. I have actually experienced, that most of such channels/groups gives out the calls once a specific coin is pumped.

Basically, what I think is that they might be creating demand for the coin already pumped to pump it more hard and to fill their pockets first. Some peoples who are the early traders for such calls might find few benefits but not each of one, especially newbies would never find profit by following anyone in trading.

That is what I am recommending to my friends too! I start reading books about candlestick, macd etc when my uncle lend me his book, he is a stock market trader by the way, and till now I am learning on it, with the help of youtube and news from twitter sometimes, I can now know what will gonna happen in bitcoin whether it will be pump or not  , I am not using any bot or joining signals group, I am learning by myself.

You can gain basic knowledge about trading through surfing in the internet and watching different videos in Youtube. After, you gather the basic knowledge about it try to apply it in a demo account in some trading platfrom because some of them has this kind of feature. Actually, there are some trading course in online but you need to pay them and some of them will help you manually. You can watch some videos of Cryptojack in youtube, he is a trader who have a lot of video trading tutorial for beginner and upon reading on his video description he also has a site that help you all things about trading but you need enroll and pay. I really want to learn trading that's why I keep on reading and watching different books and videos that can help me to enhance my trading skills.

Youtube is a great place to learn something new. However, I do not highly recommend it because you need to understand that there are too many videos and therefore, it is absolutely hard to choose a right one. There are some good videos but millions of bad tutorial around them.
Udemy and other sources of courses might be a great choice but the price is high compare with the knowledge you can obtain
I guess books and online pdfs are the best in this field. Try to do some research to find out which is the best for you

The majority of forum members are want to learn how to trade but the problem is they do not want to invest in knowledge. We should invest in knowledge before we invest in trading, if we do not have knowledge then the risks will be high and the probability of winning is low. Before I make investment in trading, I invested first into my knowledge and that is why my losses is only few.

I do think that there are intelligent people here who knows that investing on knowledge is the right thing to do specially if you're a beginner in this crypto trading.

There are literally tons of knowledge being shared around in this community and I do hope that some of them really learn instead of just dealing directly in a trading in which they don't know at least the basics. So for those, its good to get your hands dirty at the start and lose some money to gain valuable experience, but learning thru reading in this forum is also a good help.

You are right. I remember when the time I feel it's hard to search the information from the internet because the cost to access the internet is too big. But now, with internet access everywhere, we can find anything we want easily, and we can get free internet access in the cafe too. So we don't have a difficult to learn to trade because we can find as many lessons of trading as we want, and we can find it from many sources. We only need to spend some time to find the lesson and learn from the lesson so we can improve our skills which will useful in trading.

Without having a passion for learning about trading, we can't make a profit, and we cannot improve our skills to better. Yes, practice will help us to improve our skills, but we need to learn about controlling ourselves in trading, and that is the most important thing before we learn to trade.

Internet has been vastly grown and each corner of the globe now has access to the Internet which has made it easier to learn new things each day.

We have a huge lot of knowledge ocean in-front of us from where we can gain as much knowledge as possible so even learning how to trade for OP might not be difficult with the Internet connection but he would definitely need some platforms where he could practice trading skills and try to improve those skills by actually making buys and sells. This might get a lot challenging initially but it would never be this difficult in the future if we really are dedicated and want to make some serious source of income out of trading.

eToro is really a good medium for copy trading and if you can make some research about the traders and find a perfect trader whom you can copy than you can start having benefits from trading. You simply have to find a trader to start copying him from there by depositing a fixed amount of funds. You could also set up a stop loss by adjusting the amount if crossed.

For example, if you decide to invest $1000 on copy-trading than you get an option to exit the markets if the price falls under the expected price which would be derived from you. You can set any stop-loss amount like $800 and it would automatically stop copying the trader if your portfolio runs below $800.

You can actually pour each of your capital in gaining some knowledge as it would never make you feel guilty for wasting your capital but instead you would gain as much knowledge as possible. There are a number of platforms like udemy where you can purchase a number of courses and you would really gain a lot of useful information from those.

But, just try to check for the preview first and also the ratings and reviews posted by the users so that you can find a best course which is suitable for you. You can actually spend whole of your day in learning from such e-learning platforms as you will really get to learn a number of new things which would help you in earning a passive income.

Forex video tutorials actually will also discuss how the indicators will work and the tutors in the video will tell you how to identify which way the market will go hen indicators do this and that. Go over to udemy and find forex tutorials.

Here so you might wanna check it out https://www.udemy.com/courses/search/?src=ukw&q=Forex
I find some of them to be helpful particularly those Forex MetaTrader 4 which discusses indicators and candle sticks. Alll these can also be use in crypto market.

yeah . like what the old saying said  " knowledge is power "  if you have a knowledge you have a power to do hard task such as trading . yeah trading is hard but verry possible to learn if we are serious to learn it  . you guys already said most of the fundamentals to learn and to improve trading  but i guess all i can add is that  , we must also be attentive   . always allocate sometime to go online and check the price so that you will know if its now time to trade or not because i notice that many traders fail to do this and they miss great chances  .

We should invest in knowledge before we invest in trading,
How did you want to tell by ''invest in knowledge''? Does that mean more learning/spend time thinking something like this? Or anything which needs money to invest in knowledge. ::) ::)

And yes most are want to learn about trading and want to be a good trader but they don't spend their time learning. Suppose, think about this topic Op created this a long ago and still, people are posting something to help the Op. But I do not think that the Op is still reading this topic. :)

They even have a short quizzes after each topic I think it's really helpful.

You can apply what you have learn here in real trading, no one will beat the learning you can acquire from experience. You can also use tradingview.com to follow good users who analyzes the market and learn from them too.

I believe it means "do read lot things before jump into trading" cause we need to understand how it works, what are the risks, what to do, etc. etc. etc.

Even though, we can always learn from our mistakes, but avoiding mistake is better to save your capital.

I would advise that it is better to start with books, especially speculators like Wyckoof, Livermore, most academies teach indicators and technical analysis, but nobody teaches the logic of the market, how the market can be understood, that is the most important part of all.

Once you get to have a criterion the arguments about the market will grow, from there all information can be questioned with the knowledge acquired, being a trader is like a profession.

I believe that every cryptocurrency user wants to learn how to trade in the cryptocurrency market, since today this activity is almost the only one that can provide the cryptocurrency owner with a constant income.  After all, if you take into account investments, then the investor will receive his profit only after a certain time, And if you take into account the current state of the market, you will have to wait for the return on investment for a long time.  Based on this, the results of training a beginner in cryptocurrency trading will depend on his initial knowledge of the cryptocurrency market.  I have been practicing scalping for a considerable time, since this is the easiest strategy and the most profitable for a beginner.  But the most important thing is the ability to analyze and understand the cryptocurrency market.

I would suggested on you to do a research in some YouTube or articles that is related in crypto trading. There's a lot of online sources online that you'll get learned on yourself just like I did. Because as a trader you need to do learning on yourself and I always taking the risk to experience something. Learning is not just reading and watching in some articles or in YouTube we need to apply it in real life to see on what is the result and gets some lessons in crypto trading.

You can't literally avoid doing mistakes at first however if you let yourself learn from it, then it will guide you as you continue your trading journey. Your own mistakes will make you realize what went wrong and what is the best thing to do in order to avoid doing the same mistake. When it comes to knowledge, there are various of ways to enlighten yourself about trading such as watching videos and reading books or articles. Well, it requires some time and effort to learn enough knowledge for you to start trading, but it is worth it because you know that you can consider what you have learn and you experiences as a foundation of your decisions.

And if they do have such a course, as long as they are charging for it they will try to offer services that are really good. You can also search for helpful articles by using Google or going on YouTube to watch videos about cryptocurrency trading.

Lol seriously, it’s not a must that he will reply every single comment on this thread. He can decide to just be reading the comments on the thread and not stress himself with reply. And there are already lots of comments here and they are almost saying the same thing, so not necessary. He should be looking for where to learn.

There are a lot of free resources available both in written and video that can guide you to become a successful trader. Trading takes time to grab and don't follow anyone that promised you will become a professional with few months.  Take your time and approach it as a course and try with little capital until your confidence is increased.

Today it is not too hard to find some information with the use of the internet and now many people would like to make an investment for trading too and I have some tips also how can you manage your trading, the post is already stated about but I want to add base in my experience. In trading I don't have enough idea and I try to go to the forums and also so search a lot of information into the search engine I take down notes and remember every key point I need to make sure I will win my trade but my journey is not easy I made some lose and mistake because of doubting to my decisions. First, you must need to trust your self and don't mind what others says if you think you are confident to have a good output go. Also better to learn for your every mistake because the experience is the best teacher of all.

Hi! I just learnt how to trade crypto last year and it's still a learning process for me even now so your post was pretty relevant to me! I just wanted to add that I find there is a good balance between studying/reading up on technical analysis and also actual hands on experience - I read up a lot with Investopedia and 101 articles on Cointelegraph, and I find Trading View's chart features and its forum section really, really helpful. There's nothing quite like seeing a group of seasoned traders going onto Trading View and providing their analysis with elaborated charts and graphs for free on the platform, and some of these traders really provide a well-substantiated reading on the week's trends etc. Aside from reading through what tools like RSI and Bollinger bands can do for your trading, I found that what really helps is actually diving right into trading. I started off with Coinbase, then moved onto Crypto.com and Binance after.

It can be pretty daunting to just sink your funds blindly into an exchange though, which was what I did, and I couldn't really practice as well as I was scared of losing the funds I had? Recently I've been practicing instead on a new mock trading app called Roostoo (http://www.roostoo.com), and from what I read it's an incubator start-up done by a bunch of students from the University of Southern California to help other students or beginners not familiar with crypto to start trading without any fear of losing their capital? How it works is that you create an account (for free!) and you're allocated 50K virtual USD to begin your trades. They pull their prices real-time from several exchanges, but for the purposes of practicing trading, this app works well because you can freely test out your analysis or predictions.

They also host mock/paper trading competitions? The most recent competition they're hosting is in collaboration with an online crypto news publication SuperCryptoNews (https://www.supercryptonews.com/scnroostoo) - it starts this Friday 7 March 2020, and the top 10 traders of the competition (trading based on virtual USD on Roostoo) will win a fixed BTC prize reward + part of the reward pool? There's a minimal registration fee, but if you're also looking to test your trading skills and earn some prize reward BTC then you can also check this out?

Their main users seem to be university students, but I honestly do think this is as good a platform to begin as any. Hope this helps!

however, I agree there are so many sources for learning cryptocurrency. You can even write "how to trade crypto" on Google, and find many sources. besides, so many videos and pdfs that people have summarized about it. however, after knowing the basics, you just have to try it. I think you will get that experience yourself.

I guess that if you want to learn anything you need find a good specialist or a cond company where you can have a stage. I guess there is not much information about this topic on the net. But it is always worth searching, anyway I would trust a good specialist here

Finding an honest expert is now a difficult thing for anyone to show you easily unless you're very close That's why you'll learn by watching videos on blogs and YouTube for general education. Also  trading charts should look good. If you'll analyze these charts better then you'll trade so i feel the video shows better.

And that is the best trainer in order to achieved your success, take a step one at the time and never to rush things up. Failure most of the time comes from your aggressiveness, you think of something that you can't see from the realities of this  business, not unless you are willing to take slowly and apply every information that you've gathered from your research. It brings more chances of successful journey when you are already fully equipped by knowledge that you understand.

Thanks!

Heya, I'm glad you're being sensible and asking for help on acquiring the knowledge first rather than asking for exchange platforms or trading strategies. I think this is a really good start for you. Udemy does some courses in crypto trading and it's quite cheap but sometimes I found that I was able to get courses for free also by finding various codes or using their own promos -  maybe you get lucky too.

Anyways this is one of the courses they do: https://www.udemy.com/course/cryptocurrencytrading/
There're also a lot of other way to learn like reading article and so on, one of which you can read here: https://www.tradingheroes.com/cryptocurrency-trading-guide-beginners/

Happy reading!

In my opinion, you should read some useful trading books such as, The crypto trader, Crypto trading for beginner, Cryptocurrency trading and investing ..ect . In addition to that, it is important to learn the technical analysis of cryptocurrencies, don't give a big attention to most of  traders on Youtube, just focus on your skills and knowledge with them you can certainly achieve your goals and with experiences  you will definitely learn more about trading. Try to start with a low budget  because it is too difficult to earn a lot money in the first period due to your lack of experience. Good luck

I think we should not recommend trading for the newbies. Many of them don't take the risk and funds. They will blame the one who introduce them about bitcoin in why they loss in the first place. You're right, trading is not really an easy way to have income. At first, try to learn about cryptocurrency then about trading. There's a lot of tutorials in YouTube it will help them a lot.

Yes in trading knowledge is the basic thing and we should learn from any where as if you get chance to gain knowledge then never lose it by talking with expert traders and get Knowledge from Google or YouTube. There are so many channel’s in YouTube about trading also websites in Google we can learn by talking with expert traders as well.
You need to widen up your knowledge so that it could help you a lot in your trades, read more and more books about trading everyday and watch some videos about it, learning is the best thing that needed to do, then do some small trades, a day trade so that you may apply your learnings, do not afraid to lose some money as it is a part of the journey.
to be able to gain knowledge in trading, we must learn and also do small practices to practice abilities. and there will definitely be mistakes that will occur and therefore always use small funds when doing self-training in trading.

Just gaining knowledge is not enough in trading, We need to test our abilities and skills. Trading is part of techniques and it will help us predict the market situations, trading is best to acquire knowledge, but without any practice it is impossible to make profits.

Watching news and gaining knowledge from this forum may help only up to fundamental analysis level and not get you hectically ready for trading. Yes, fundamental analysis is completely different from what is exactly needed for the traders to get into actual trading. Only under the speculation board of this forum, people are sharing bitcoin charts which are highly technical for predicting the market direction. But to understand those chart, every trader must need basic knowledge of different type of chart analyzing skills.

You can also watch video on youtube that teaching about crypto or trading something like that for us to feed ourselves about in trading.
Yes, making use of the available resources across Internet must be the best way of learning trading. Youtube videos must be the highly recommended resources for any trading aspirants. Also, lots of trading related articles and magazines are available throughout the Internet but people must dedicate their time to make use of them.

Apart from mastering the trading skills, stock trading is also about knowledge. You need to be thoroughly aware of the company you are investing in. You should be mindful of the trade you are putting in and learn how to trade them.
