Can't compile Windows wallet there are missing files in the rep GitHub.


I've tried with many methods and they all failed for :

Preprocessing qt...
cp: cannot stat 'mingw-uuidof.patch': No such file or directory
cp: cannot stat 'pidlist_absolute.patch': No such file or directory
cp: cannot stat 'fix-xcb-include-order.patch': No such file or directory
cp: cannot stat 'fix-cocoahelpers-macos.patch': No such file or directory
cp: cannot stat 'qfixed-coretext.patch': No such file or directory


While when i tried the same methods for compiling the windows wallet of Bitcoin or Litecoin, it worked perfectly.


So you will have to check pls what could be missing in the files =p ty

As written by the OP, this coin is for fun. So don't take it too seriously. If people will shell out money for this, I don't know anymore. It is very obvious that this will not take long to survive here. Maybe, if this will get listed, there will be pump and dump, then it is gone!

On windows:  


• Open your wallet, and make sure your wallet is connected with a node.

• Close your wallet and create the file catecoin.conf in the folder “%APPDATA%\catecoin”.

• Paste the following text into catecoin.conf and save the file.  N.B:  EDIT  rpc_catecoin    +    rpc_password     for any rpcuser and rpcpassword you'd like

I wouldn't bother getting involved with this coin anymore....it's been very centralized from the start... Dev didn't release wallet, only those who knew how to compile were the only ones who started mining from launch. Now I'm sure they've mined millions of the coin waiting to dump when/if the coin gets listed. Next time dev should make smarter decisions. No luck with your shitcoin

Where did you launch Linux wallet 'instantly'? I couldn't find any such thing on your github repo at launch. Why would you even launch a coin without having windows wallet ready?

Actually I've deleted windows bin by mistake and then it just stopped compiling, that's my mistake.

I'm the one who mined it at start and i am not going to dump it dont worry. I never did that and never will, i even made the pool and block explorer for free, i am hosting it with cost and will never ask anything in return. I just love the project and like it is mentioned its for fun before anything else.  I rather having most of the coins to avoid anybody else dumping it like you said, so i understand your feelings, it'S true miners does that most of the time ..

When you will make a wallet let me know and i will share a part of the coin i mined, its not a big deal as i mined them when it was diff  0.000244

Hey there, I've got replies from most of exchanges, the cheapest one says 0.04 (or something about) BTC.
The thing is that I (at the moment) afford that amount of money, not because I don't want to do it, but I don't have that amount of BTC, or even cash, because as you may see in my signature I'm 16.

And you know what, anyway, what is the point of having an exhange if we don't have any liquidity, no buyers.

Those will come with time too so we have plenty of time to get one, the coin is too recent, just as an example there is so less people in the discord.

I meant by that we don't know yet about if a liquidity might be possible, we still got time to find the money for paying an exchanges listing.
