Title: Topic removed: Is https://www.add-ex.io a fraud / scam?
Post by: @MAstilleroF on October 05, 2019, 02:57:06 PM
I already wrote this post, and was just deleted by an “anonymous” member, which increases my suspects about this site...

I’ve just been invited to invest in this site. Bite there are no enough information on it, neither WhitePaper, and links are not running.

Any info?

Thanks.

M.

Lol, it just means a mod removed it.

How did you come across the site? Their contact is an @outlook.com email that says something right off the bat.

ADDEX (www.add-ex.io) is a global professional digital currency trading platform that provides blockchain technology services and digital asset trading. Since its establishment in 2017, it has been iteratively upgraded, and has won a good reputation in the industry with professional management team, strict fund management system and caring service. Provide efficient, flexible, stable and secure trading platform for users both inside and outside the world.

Stick to the better known exchanges if you need that function - if they trade for you, it doesn't seem that they are actual day traders managing your funds.

Your topic has been deleted because it violates Bitcointalk rules. Duplicate topic.
It is best to read the forum rules to avoid deleting your posts.
As a rule, do not invest in any platform that is unknown or does not have enough assessments.

I do not think it was duplicated. The rule you say is a general rule with no value unless it is related with specific information. I do not need this forum to know about that kind of universal rules. I need this forum (as I think other people also need) in order to know about real and concrete cases of possible fraud. If it is the case that you removed my post, and you are not a moderator, please, abstain for doing it again; on the contrary, I will report you. M.

Well, as I said, this forum is supposed to be to inform about possible situations of fraud. The more everybody inform about that situaciones, the better we can fight against fraud. In any case, thanks for your advice. M.

I will layout the details about this add-ex fraud in link the scam accusation.

The scam starts officially early august for me, as the story deals with something along with these elements.

1. A unknown - not known popular crypto exchange site
2. A girl you met off tinder or language exchange sites or app
3. It involves with Wechat or line (for me the girl used wechat) as I have many friends on wechat
4. The story sets off with "my dad" owns a trading firm recently launching a "unknown token" not listen on coinmarket etc. In this story or sad situation its call "PCT"
(So if the story is along those lines of "insider info" or anything similar its a warning.

I am writing this because Ive been a victim - this only happened because a few things..

1. I was very emotionally vulnerable at the time, the girl I was talking to had left me.. and I attract chinese girls in general.
2. I always decently match with fairly cute girls
3. I had made five figures on my own back when bch was cheap and saw the coinbase insider info leak back when employees told that they were all going to sell at a certain price and bitcoin back then turn 19,000. So my belief with ICO had some understanding to be issued with downloading the wallet they do provide (if provided).

Something I noticed on the wechat id: most of these people start with the letter "X" then number as their login.
Example: X1994032 or X17327728

The red flag is that itself, which Im fairly new to wechat at the same time. Most of my real chinese friends who have wechat id: are not crazy numbers that are super long.

The PCT sell out date - that "claimed" to go public was Jan 4th. The website is off-line now for 2-3 days which happened 12/20/19.

My total usdt loss so far = $8,000

I will add the conversations and pics later..

I also have read the comments on similar variations of this story https://micky.com.au/shady-crypto-exchange-used-in-tinder-dating-scam/

2. A girl you met off tinder or language exchange sites or app

I knew I heard something about this exchange but couldn't remember what....now that you mentioned tinder..
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5209911.msg53375153#msg53375153

But no offense, how can you trust somebody that you met on tinder with advice about your money?
Especially girls that are clearly searching on a mission there.
I'm starting to be really curious about how a conversation with one of them looks like.
