I think all alts are low vs BTC right now, and they will all recover together. I don't think there is any specific reason why LTC is so low, it's just that all alts are moving (or not moving) together.

The reason I think is market confidence. It's not high enough yet for people to move from BTC to alts. It might take a bit of upwards price movement on BTC before alts start to recover - but the longer this goes on, and the wider the gap grows, then the more pressure there will be on alts to increase in price. Difficult to see a precise tipping-point really.

If Litecoin survives in this bear market, I believe Litecoin will go higher again because its current price is low. Not only Litecoin, everything else will go higher too as long as they survive.
I do not know when the market starts to change but the good news has started https://techcrunch.com/2019/10/21/moons-browser-extension-lets-you-pay-with-bitcoin-on-amazon/.
how big it will go in the future?

Litecoin is the cheaper version of Bitcoin, potentially a good successor in case the dominant cryptocurrency will be gone. Litecoin considerably has some advantages over bitcoin considering its 84 million supply and faster in terms transaction compare to Bitcoin. It may not pass Bitcoins dominance but it will be more established than any other coins in the market.

BTC dominance right now is very higher which is danger for altcoins. This dominance has to come lower in order to LTC along with other altcoins to grow.

There is no reason to why ltc is very low against bitcoin in price now and its really a good time to buy ltc because i belief it will be around bitcoin for many years to come, UNICEF and Amazon now accept these top coins now which is a good thing, BTC, LTC and ETH are indeed capable

LTC has several advantages when compared to Bitcoin, the low number of offers and transaction costs in my opinion has made it superior to bitcoin.
LTC prices now might not look too bad, this is entirely due to unfavorable market conditions. Market demand that is monitored stable may be difficult to make prices rise. I think if the LTC market demand increases, the price will also increase.

Not me, the https://github.com/litecoin-project/litecoin we can no longer see any recent commits being submitted which means progress is pretty slow and the diluted market doesnt help either there are tons of new altcoins racing to compete to replace the top 10 coins.

Also i think some miners have are no longer mining the coin because of the rewards been reduced due to the block halvening.

I'm still bullish on Litecoin's future he has a great history being the best clone of Bitcoin and of course it used to be the second popular coin in the market, but I doubt if he can climb the top 3 anymore, technology has vastly improve that I don't know if Litecoin can keep up, what keeps them around is their marketing power.

Litecoin does have potential to replace Bitcoin in the future, especially if BTC evolves into a store of value and abandons the position of an everyday currency. LTC uses the same technology, but it is modified and improved; it is accepted on most exchanges, and it is one of the oldest surviving altcoins. However, while I say that it does have potential, its price growth is currently still closely tied to Bitcoin's behavior, and I don't believe that LTC would do anything on its own in the foreseeable future.

Litecoin is still hot to the eyes of most of the investors. I'm keep studying its historical price background and I found out a same pattern where it can be bullish again. I know that demand to LTC will increase in this following weeks.

we have no evidence or signal that could suggest that litecoin could go up huge (or realistically speaking get pumped) in the near future. there is just nothing going on with this coin to lead to any kind of pumps. the biggest thing it had was its halving which failed to cause any kind of decent pump and that damaged its future pumps too because people are now scared to buy it since they have no faith in the future pumps too.

Almost same rate when bitcoin will go up again. Its hard to compare altcoins to bitcoin but somehow other coins like XRP already exceed bitcoin in terms of profit making in the past months so probably it can also happen to LTC. The halving on LTC doesn’t affect much of its price right now, but in the near future it will be big.

I do believe on Litecoin's potential. Litecoin is one of the cryptos which are promising. It is just that the market at this moment is struggling to make a comeback from continuous market downfall for a year already if I'm not mistaken. But I do still believe that once recovery take place, the market value of huge cryptos such as litecoin would be again, higher. I am currently holding some amount of it and I am hoping that there would be profit one day, once things are back to normal.

I can feel it but there's no guarantee that it will go up whenever bitcoin goes up too for the next cycle. Almost everyone thought that after the Litecoin's halving it will pump like crazy but no way, it didn't.

I don't held a lot of Litecoin but I still look into this altcoin as one with the potential to fire up soon. With or without Charlie Lee, there's a community that has been following it.

difficult to predict about it, but I like it because the transaction costs are very low when compared to bitcoin. when viewed in terms of large enough volume, rank 6 in cmc for now. and many large companies that accept payments with Litecoin, may potentially haraga will rise.

I hold litecoin just a little.

I do not remember there is future innovation from LTC, so the increase may originate from the market. I can not predict how big or small this increase will be, but as we all know, the prices of altcoins are very bad. Therefore, the trigger increase can affect prices thoroughly. In short, I can not see anything that makes LTC different, it will increase with the whole market.

I remember when i disliked and disregarded it as it had no use case for me, but now i've changed my mind on it.
It might as well be huge, but similar to older currencies, but it doesn't have any new things (to my knowledge) coming that could hype the people for buying the rumors or news. It's basically mature and "ready" as a currency, and now it's finding its own valuation. Lately i've been using it a lot and i think it's highly undervalued. I think it could surprise everyone on the next run.

I don't think Litecoin will be "huge" but I think it will continue to go higher and higher over the years. It was the second biggest coin for a long time and we have called it "silver to bitcoins gold" for years so it has a purpose in crypto world and a place. Yes, it is long away from it is glory days but I doubt it will stay the same for years without moving.

It is one of the most prominent coins out there and when all other coins go up Litecoin will too and considering Litecoin is cheaper than bitcoin there is a chance it could have a bigger % increase and profit for all of us. It will never be the second again if it goes on like this but that doesn't mean it will be out of top 50 one day neither. As long as it continues to innovate and improve the price will keep going up over the years.

I have huge hopes for Litcoin, because in my opinion LTC is one of the most oversold and undervalued altcoins. Such huge altcoin that in my opinion has a lot of advantages in front of BTC, should be at least over XRP on coinmarketcap.

Agree with you, it has a lot of potential, Litecoin experienced a great growth earlier this year. Prior to mid-June, it was the best performing coin in 2019 that is still growing more than 170% in less than 90 days and peaking at around $145. So there is a tendency, that it will be still getting better and better as time is passing by, let's watch out over it.

Almost the same topic we discussed a few days ago, I don't know why recently many threads have been opened about Litecoin! Litecoin is one of the great altcoins, it has high potential to be x3-x5 from the current price, but it won't happen shortly. Litecoin halving happened two months ago, nothing improved in its price! Still, without Bitcoin pumps, Litecoin can't pump! So, I am not that interested in LTC. BTC, ETH is great now!

I don't think Litecoin will go up huge in the near future like bitcoin and other top cryptocurrencies like ethereum because i don't see any potential for litecoin to have a good value in the near future and it is not good for a long-term investment, but i think Litecoin would definitely increase it's value in the near future because it is cheaper than other crypto which there are still people who buys it.

Litecoin can be a game changer as it's not in news like bitcoin, ETH or XRP but it performs well and I did experimented my funds with LTC in October 2017 and got a goof return on investment when it reached from $50 to $300 approximately through coinbase. I am sure everyone are aware about the lightening speed of LTC transactions, it's secure as well and initially Coinbase was very well know and it does not list too many coins and LTC was one of those coins which it had listed which clearly shows it's value.

I think this is the current market trend because most current crypto prices are pumping up and then falling back. but I think LTC has the potential and opportunity to invest because their price history is quite good and therefore I think like this. but to start investing, you must take the time to do more research

I don't see any reason for LTC to enter a state of FOMO any time soon, imho.

The 0.007 BTC barrier has been tested a week or so ago and wasn't able to be breached, which hinders the chances of a short term bullish breakout. There also isn't much fundamental to back up a potential bull run since segwit and halving in LTC is already over.

Personally, I think prices will consolidate, but will pick up once again as it approaches its next halving which is quite far away still.

LTC is doing bad because it's not good for anything. It got popular due to a few things.
It was advertised as silver to Bitcoin's gold.
It was the first forked altcoin.
It had scrypt mining which at first was a new and interesting thing.
It had Charlie Lee who was very active on social media and knew how to run LTC like a business.

Now people see that LTC is boring. It isn't used anywhere. Its founder sold his coins and left to another project. It's not going to be the altcoin silver. ETH is more likely to achieve that.

I think all alts are low vs BTC right now, and they will all recover together. I don't think there is any specific reason why LTC is so low, it's just that all alts are moving (or not moving) together.
I'm glad you have the same viewpoint as I do regarding altcoins and bitcoin.  Alts are priced in terms of btc, so obviously it makes sense that when btc is down alts will be as well.  Litecoin is just going along for the ride downward, unfortunately.

I have been recommending that everyone invest in alts which are in at least the top 50 on coinmarketcap, because they're the ones that are going to rebound the most once btc starts to recover.  Ltc is going to be one of those in my opinion, so yes I do think that it's a bargain at present.  Most top rated alts are right now.

Think back to the 2014-2016 time frame.  In late 2013, when BTC boomed to $1200, LTC rose to $48, which at the time was incredible, considering it had been hovering around $2 for a long time before that.

Then in 2014-2016, it slowly dribbled back down to $2, and many people, including me, thought "SSSshhhheeeiiiitttttt, this coin is OVER!!!"

Boy was I a dumbass for not loading up hardcore on it at $2 in those years, because it boomed to $375 or so in late 2017 while BTC was almost touching $20,000.

It's not the ultimate number that matters, it's the difference between the high and low.  375/2 = 187.5.  Multiply your money times 187.5 !!!  Damn I fucked up on that one, but then again, even with all my coin research since 2013, I could not predict the future that well.

I bought 15 LTC at $30 in early 2019, and should've sold it at $140 in June, but I figured that if I did, the price would continue to rise and leave me behind, like some nerdy kid chasing after the school bus "HEY GUYS WAIT FOR MEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!".

So I am HODLing my 15 LTC, and waiting for LTC to drop as low at it can (to at least $30 if not much much lower), then I'll load up on it and sell on the next big price pop.

As for the question of what can Litecoin DO?  Really DO in the world of crypto coins?  Who gives a fuck?  As long as it makes me lots of money, I don't care.

Litecoin had been down for a while now and obviously its a coin for future Its always pump once in a while its pumped thrice after bitcoin reached ATH in 2017  it bottomed at $23 in 2018  however it recovered and pumped to $138 this year while presently LTC is in bearish mode and the very best period to buy and hodl while waiting for another bullish season that might come soonest.

I still believe, ltc is not one of the altcoin shit. their project is real and has a strong team. maybe now the price is not appropriate, but we must know it's not just ltc that has decreased. when the market starts to get excited again, I'm sure ltc will be the coin that has the highest increase.

Maybe yes LTC is one of the well-established coins compared to other coins. That's because LTC has more transaction speed than other coins. All altcoin is under pressure and almost all prices are down. But when altcoin season is bullish and everything raises the price, I think LTC will also come the time to move up, if there is good news about LTC the price may be higher than other coins, but it is likely that in the near future LTC will move up. It's better to wait and be patient for that

I think it won't in near future.
But i'm sure one day in several years LTC will be more valuable than right now.
It has got fast transaction speed and low fees for transfering between exchange, i think it's really ideal for online transaction
Yes I agree, That will not happen in the near future because the dominance of Bitcoin is still strong, making it difficult for other Cryptocurrency to increase their prices. For Litecoin, I personally am still very confident with this coin, they are a sleeping giant, wait for them to wake up then you will be surprised.

IMO, litecoin is already huge! It's currently #6 on coinmarketcap and it's been consistently in the top-10 of coins since it's creation. I doubt it will ever become any..."huger" than that!

To be honest, I never got the reason behind its popularity, other than being to BTC what is silver to gold ;) Still, I am always making sure to hold some and swing them everytime there is a good pump so I guess it's a good idea to always have some.

The current situation Top 10 altcoins are going to huge on future and LTC have good marketcap so it will raise further days. Obviously LTC have less fees and good profit investment, But still most of the peoples are believe the BTC because LTC also follow the same manner. Charlie Lee has always been working hard on litecoin and will continue to do so but the problem is that "work" in this context mostly means copying code from bitcoin and importing it in litecoin since it is the exact copy of it!
so you really can't expect that much out of LTC and no matter how much Lee "works" on it, in the end it will remain a poor copy.

in terms of updates and developer performance, I think we can judge how they work. but if you go back to the principle of the crypto market where assets are the most desirable and have high demand which will most likely have an increase. after all, everything goes back to the developer how they planned the update to make the demand continue to increase. LTC may improve, but it all depends on how the market responds to the use of LTC as their investment asset.

I dont understand why anyone wants ltc long term. A fully functioning lightning network destroys any need for litecoin.  The development of LTC is dead anyway,  Charlie lee dumped his coins for a reason.  The h as halvening did nothing for the price which is a sell signal.
Low fees for transactions and a good reputation that makes Litecoin still attractive to many traders and investors.

I think as long LTC still stable in that price, or maybe not dumped very much it already good for me. Sometime when i want to send coin between exchanges, i use LTC because it have small fee and if the price increased it will be better then.
low fee.. this is one of the strong reasons that make Litecoin in great demand, I personally move assets from one large exchange to another large exchange with Litecoin and Stellar.

yes you're right, litecoin transfer fees are quite cheap and therefore many use it to transfer their funds. besides since halving them a few months ago, the number of ltc circulating in the market slowly began to decrease due to the reduction in rewards per block. so Litecoin actually has all the reasons to be able to recover. just because of several factors cause ltc is still sideways today. I think it's only a matter of time, so I will continue to believe until the time for ltc comes.

Most of the people who hopes and expect ltc price will go up high was those who been investing huge amount of money on this coin.
If many traders who had bigger capitals to be used on this coin, that's always possible many of them got the desires for this coins to establish more demands. No one knows what will going to happen with ltc or even Bitcoin still so unpredictable.

Actually I use LTC for day-to-day transactions because speed for LTC coin is fast and the cost is cheap and I also use LTC for daily or weekly trading, but it's also not wrong to use LTC for long-term investment, because LTC is in the top 10 in cmc, so it's clear this is a potential and stable coin

Not in the near future, but later the price of Litecoin will also grow. remember first when the price of altcoin has increased so large the average effect of the magnitude is the price growth of bitcoin. so if we wait for prices to rise in the near future it certainly cannot be predicted and what is clear at this time people still believe in Litecoin. you can prove it through your personal research

Litecoin will indeed not be able to beat the currency but you should know that Litecoin has very good potential because Litecoin is one of the coins that can last a long time, and Litecoin delivery is also very fast with very low transaction costs, so I am sure Litecoin can provide the best value Even though I can't beat bitcoin, I'm sure I can beat some other altcoins.

Wait, so you don't like the guy because he sold off some of his Litecoin at the all time high in order to buy back in at a lower price to increase his holdings? What else did the guy do that's controversial? Personally, I don't care if he sold off all of his Litecoin and doesn't have any left to this day. That's the beauty of it. It doesn't really matter whether he has any or not.

Let's consider litecoin to be the best potential coin to beat other crypto, but certainly aiming with bitcoin was a hard thing for now. Don't risk your money on this, because it might not have stable market in comparison to bitcoin. Although btc has been into several downfalls, it doesn't left us behind on every profitable times because each value really accumulated once the market remained active at different exchanges.

Litecoin among the respected altcoin in the market cause it was the first fork coin of Bitcoin and it embraced Bitcoin legacy than other lying Bitcoin forked coin but it problem started when it owner publicly said he sold all his holding and despite that it still hold top 10 coin till now which showed it to be indeed well established.

BTC dominance right now is very higher which is danger for altcoins. This dominance has to come lower in order to LTC along with other altcoins to grow.
Bitcoin dominance level is always like this when halving is approaching but that doesn't mean the altcoin market are in danger cause most utilized usually experience a new ATH when Bitcoin reach a new ATH.

yeah we have to not expect so high in this bad market, it just hurts us, even on good coin like a litecoin cant increase price, bcz bearish is so strong right now

but we still can take advantage by doing short, i prefer bitmex to do short bcz of its big volume

Litecoin mapu survives indeed because of the running of the concept that is currently preferred by many cryptocurrency investors. they all see that it's almost the same as bitcoin which is aimed at payments. by using Litecoin indeed we can more easily make payment transactions

Yes, Litecoin is like that if comparing it to those precious metals. I still see that there are traders and investors that are into it that's why I'm staying to Litecoin.

But there's one thing that bothers me and is on how long Litecoin will be able to maintain its status in the market. The position of it is higher than the other altcoins and some of those old coins were found dead. Well, this worries me.

I am one of those people who think that Litecoin will be big, even though Litecoin is currently experiencing price decline, but I am very confident that Litecoin will rise and develop more than before, because Litecoin is a very interested and very potential coin, so it is very  possible to experience.  Changes, according to my observations at the moment, Litecoin is only slightly adopted, just like other altcoins, but I am very confident that in the future Litecoin can compete with ETH, because we all know that in the world of cryptocurrency anything can happen, such as the large decline experienced by BTC  In 2018, the then,, no one thought that BTC would rise as it is today, so, anyone who uses Litecoin as an investment tool must be optimistic and confident, this crisis will soon end

I think there are many perceptions of the word "huge", what do you mean here is that the price of Litecoin will fly up to 50x or even more than the current price? I think in the near future this is not yet, but for Ethereum maybe it can be realized because from the fundamental side they have many plus points compared to other altcoins. But that does not mean Litecoin has no chance, they still have many opportunities to dominate but not in the near future.

I am not against Litecoin but to say that it will be the first coin to rise when the bull market starts is a bit overrated, we did not see any movement in price even when the halving happened and everyone was expecting some movement but the halving is done and there is no change in the price and you expect the price to rally first :P. I am expecting the price to rally along the rest of the alt coin market and i am not expecting an all time high valuation this time.

Litecoin is one of the strongest coin at the market. A top ranked coin without whitepaper.

Last few months showed that only strong coins will survive and coins without project team will die sooner or later.

While BTC crushing all alt coins LTC and other top ranked coins also lost value but stayed strong when compared to other coins.

LTC can get momentum if BTC give permission and run after it in a bull market.

I am very sure that Litecoin (LTC) will pump high, because LTC is fundamentally very good and with max supply limited to only
around 84 million LTC, which makes the reason LTC has the potential to rise. LTC prices are now experiencing too Although the
increase is not yet great. Plus LTC is a well-known coin which ranks 6th in the coin marketcap making LTC has a large volume.
So there is no reason to doubt the potential of LTC, I estimate LTC will go huge when Entering the alt season which I predict will
start later this year.

But, looking at the currency position of Litecoin, it think that they are among the coin that is already dominating the market, except what you mean by this statement is that they will lead all currencies including bitcoin which I doubt, but if it is to stand among the main dominant coins, I think that you have a point there already.

Litecoin has a very fantastic technology and they have very fast payment system too, I think that they only need to do more of publicity so that people will continue to acknowledge their presence in the market amidst all these other altcoins that are rising in the market but not having any real use case other than to just deceive lots of investors with all these Ponzi like structures, which they use in deceiving and duping lots of investors.

Actually there is more uncertainty in the world of crypto currencies, although there are a number of possibilities that can be used as a reference at the time of the LTC halving day. However, traders / investors are likely to continue to try their luck with halving events and hope to record profits after holding back long enough to sell more LTC while taking into account the benefits that can be obtained to cover their investment capital.
But I believe that litecoin will continue to surprise traders by 2020, especially after Xinxi Wang, one of the founders of Litecoin Foundation and Coinut Exchange, wrote a week ago on Twitter that 'there will be something big' for Litecoin in the near future.
We do not know what will happen in the near future, but it is fitting for us to wait.

Bitcoin is by far a better coin compared to Litecoin.
In fact, bitcoin has no match within the entire altcoins market.
Litecoin is only good if compare it to the likes of other altcoins such as Ripple and Ethereum.
Bitcoin dominates over 67% of the cryptocurrency market for God's sake, tell which altcoin can do that, anyway?

Halving events are only part of the equation. Yes, it means the supply of new coins is reduced. But that doesn't say anything about the demand for the coins, especially as most of the coins have been mined already.

If you are a litecoin fan, then you'd be better off trying to increase the ecommerce side of things and the overall use cases for the coin.

If I was an investor for this project, I couldn't afford to wait for too long years before I take my profit gains. That was frustrating as an investor, and probably everybody rants for the return of investment from these coins. Maybe it wasn't just LTC felt this kind of circumstance, but also with other crypto projects who've been still trying to recover their market. Hopefully, the fame of LTC will also regain its popularity, and I think this is a very important factor to consider for these current issues.

who else think litecoin will go up huge in the near future?
litecoin is one great currency and former ranked number 3 for long time and theres no doubt that this can return to the higher rank again soon

i never lose my faith on this one,and also for the team who is not stopping to bring progress for LTC.

I believe Litecoin can be bigger than this. it's only a matter of time until that happens, the most important thing is to wait for the bullrun market. and when it starts I'm sure Litecoin will return to ATH and surpass it. now LTC is asleep as other potential coins, buying now is a good choice.
positioning in number 6 is not bad at all compared in first quarter that Litecoin falls to number 8-10 position, this only means the active development that happening inside litecoins team

Do you have any reason to think that will happen sooner rather than later? Do not take me wrong litecoin is a good coin and it has been trusted for a long time by investors and traders in general, but why it should go up? Why investors are going to decide massively to invest in this coin instead of other more profitable coins like bitcoin or ethereum, if an altcoin season comes then litecoin will go up but the same will happen to the rest of the altcoins in the market and I do not really believe litecoin will be the coin that performs the best when there are better candidates like ETH or BNB.

iam so doubt LTC can go huge up, and in the near future. it isnt altseason nowadays. many altcoins are hard to pop

i just believe that altcoin can go huge up on altseason, which may start in the future

as long as this coin doesnt lose its value, it would go huge up easily in the next altseason

for now, the altcoin session for the pump doesn't exist yet, but when that session has appeared, I'm sure that litecoin is one of the coins that will go up high.  in October last litecoin price rose from $ 49 to $ 63 this month, that's a pretty good addition if we remember that this is not an altcoin session. so far the price of litecoin is at $ 63, and moves slowly to $ 65. if there is a price reduction, the price is likely to reach $ 59. however, if prices recover, I am pretty sure the price of litecoin can approach the price of $ 100.

Litecoin is old tech trying to stay relevant. It is too much risk to invest and hold this coin. I would rather opt for Ethereum or even Ripple rather than Litecoin. LTC is just the testbed for Bitcoin.
Why not? have you seen if some stores are also accepting litecoin right now? As far as i know, the tech doesn't matter a lot as long as it can still be used by so many people to create a transaction in the network. As you can see that so many people are still using litecoin right now, that means if litecoin still becomes an optional payment system for a lot of people.
even you call it a tested chain for bitcoin but why people are still believing in it?

For the very long term investment. Litecoin has so much potential and may soon implement MimbleWimble. But as crypto’s evolve LTC will be great for a means of exchange. Very fast transactions that will replace your current debit card with extremely low fees. that adoption could take more than few years. if you are a long term hodler, in fact most crypto out there will turn to gold if you hold long enough.

However, for the short term or next year there are better investments in the crypto market and I'll advice you not to put all your eggs in one basket. Bitcoin will dominate the market and this trend will continue as BTC gets closer and closer to the Halving, I would stick with BTC for short term. then take a look at some other altcoins, you can find more promising ones, like for example Vechain, TRON or Nano. Take your time, it’s good to be certain what is the best choice.

Litecoin prices have experienced a surprising and significant price increase over last few months and I believe that the increase will continue in the future, because the small and big of price movements made by BTC will affect the movement of litcoin in the market, let alone we know if Litecoin is one of the altcoin that has the largest market capitalization that exists today apart from eth and xrp.

I'm not sure that Litecoin will go's higher, but most probably yes, however long time ago I invest in Bitcoin so far I'm happy about that decision, but I'm thinking to exchange it in other currency like something less expensive due to the fact that there are more probability to grow's up quickly.
Why you have to exchange your bitcoin into another crypto?

You did something that might lose you even more because you have already bitcoin as your investment. For Litecoin, it can still go high but not that huge anymore. It's not the old Litecoin that we know.

But it can't be just left by its investors and remains still as a high ranking alt.

Long time ago, i had heard a lot of people are saying,"BTC is gold, LTC is silver." Back to now, there is hardly hearing this voice. But the important is, LTC still survive, not dead. When the bull comes, no doubt LTC definitely will go huge, even breaking the highest point in history. Of course, the other cryptos are the same.

You don't have to hear it to know it's there. Litecoin has cheaper and faster transactions, and there will be a limited amount of Litecoins. I think that limited coin supply is what drives the prices, while demand is rising supply is lower with every halving, which leads to the price rise. And there will be a higher demand for many cryptocurrencies, for Bitcoin and Litecoin as first and second, there will be a rise in demand.

I salute to Litecoin because it still survives today, but I'm not sure Litecoin will hit more than $350...
it seems that the saying was not wrong, Bitcoin is Gold and Litecoin is Silver. Bitcoin and Litecoin seem inseparable, as long as Bitcoin survives it looks like Litecoin will survive too.

Bitcoin is still the best option, so never give up investing in it. LTC is not as good as it used to be, its price is not going up too much this year even though we are in the bull market, I would sell all LTC and invest in Bitcoin if I had.

Just like bitcoin, ltc is years old already and growing slowly.
We might see this coin a huge changes when it comes to price but it will surely increase like other coins.

This week, Litecoin has happen a fairly large price drop, down 86.40% from its all-time high of $420.00 and now Litecoin is trading in the range of $57,059 to $62,292, although it has dropped quite drastically but I personally don't feel it lost trust in litecoin, because litecoin is one of the best altcoins today, apart from ranking in the top 10 in cmc, litecoin is also the altcoin that has the largest market capitalization apart from eth and bnb coins.

As litecoin is developed over the same platform of bitcoin, and this added more value to litecoin. During the previous bull trend the growth of litecoin was observed to be high as rest of the altcoins. Further there is no big forward move in the price of litecoin. Same as bitcoin, there is halving with litecoin network. Even by that there is no big change in the market.

There're no big changes AjithBTC, but in many terms Litecoin is huge already. $3B market cap is not so easy to achieve, and it's
holding there strong, that can give us a hope that in future Litecoin can worth a lot more. As you said it's similar to Bitcoin, Litecoin
also have halving, and Litecoin supply is limited, max supply is 84M coins, which is not too much, with rising demand and limited
amount of coins in circulations the price of Litecoin can go high.

I'm a big believer in Litecoin's potential, so for me Litecoin will go huge. At least it's been proven by Litecoin In 2017 Litecoin was able
to reach an all time high price of $ 375 and gave big profits to its holders at that time. In 2020 Litecoin's price is relatively stable, but
that doesn't make me doubt the potential of Litecoin. In fact, I believe Litecoin by the end of this year will be able to reach $ 130 as it
has achieved in 2019.

I no longer believe in Litecoin because the coin has no one left on the development team and the holding will definitely disappoint you even more.

I used to hold this coin at the beginning of last year and the longer I hold it, the more my profits will decrease. In my opinion, this is not a good time for you to buy this coin and should be looking for better alternatives.

That is valid point slowly slowly this coin is loosing its position and grip on the market. While the founder is already sold his coins years ago and that thing making a lot of people confusing to keep hold this. If we compare the price in BTC than it lost a lot since this thread started so that I also agreed it is time to move better alternatives.

Litecoin is one of cryptocurrency can still survive until today, this coin is one old currency i know like Dash, Doge, Namecoin and etc.
that's why i think Litecoin have potential to gain the value more than in the 2017 and can hit new ATH
In almost all chats and forums, there is a negative discussion of the future prospects of litecoin. Everyone expects the coin to fall further, although some are in favor of a profitable investment if the price drops even further. But I would not want to risk my capital over a worthless asset.

As far as I can see, Litecoin is really lagging behind like-minded competitors. Litecoin does not seem interested in updating technology or having a different marketing strategy to attract more users, I just see they are running out of ideas.
although Litecoin went through a halving event, after months its worth remains the same, which means more miners will be leaving Litecoin soon. I don't see any progress on Litecoin, so let me ask what is the reason you hold it?

Unfortunately this is true, their development already lagging behind compared to any competitor out there not to mention that litecoin doesn't have its quirk like any other new competitor and its popularity is already fading right now. I don't see any real reason of using it other than for merely sending some money? and if there's any big pump in the future I'm sure its not gonna go after litecoin market because honestly its as you said already lagging behind. though maybe there's still some minor pump.

Not this year mate,i believe that Litecoin has a future but the dev must act progressively before this coin return back to where it is belong since 2017.

Ranking number 3 following Bitcoin and ethereum in 2017 bullrun.

Now dropping to almost rank 10,things that very low compared to the achievements this coin has.

Its normal for coins to experience a downtrend but ltc is an established coin, so definitely it will increase once the market turns bullish. Though we cant say when it will going to happen, so if you believe it can give you profit in the future then continue to hold. I already sell my ltc when I had the chance to take profit, I chose to stick to btc and other potential alts because I can gain better profit.

I feel like Litecoin served its purpose and no longer really is the hype coin at all. Obviously it is one of the leading coins in development cycle because they improve the coin itself compared to bitcoin a lot, that is what it was created for in logic, a sort of testing board for bitcoin so that litecoin could build and develop a feature to litecoin and if it works and liked and has no problem that means bitcoin could add it as well.

However what made it irrelevant is the ICO world, after that happened in 2017 people realized that there are so many new stuff in crypo world that we no longer need Litecoin because everything (I mean all features) that could be implemented into bitcoin has been implemented in some other coin so there is no reason for this one to exist anymore at all and it is just its own coin nowadays which made it difficult for litecoin to be succesful.

Litecoin with Bitcoin, it is sure that Litecoin won't have the option to beat Bitcoin, yet in the event that you contrast Litecoin and different coins, it is sure that Litecoin actually can possibly win in light of the fact that Litecoin has a decent turn of events and Litecoin exchanges are additionally quicker. I am extremely sure that Litecoin will rise and grow more than previously, on the grounds that Litecoin is an exceptionally intrigued and expected coin, so it is entirely conceivable to encounter.

When the altcoins “Golden age” comes, Litecoin will jump high. This is still one of the best alts of all the time, although the project is pretty old. I have LTC in my portfolio, but now, I use it mostly for trading. Litecoin is presented on almost all exchanges.

Litecoin has established itself in the cryptocurrency market and we can certainly call it one of the most stable coins. However, I am sure it will never become stronger than Bitcoin. I think that Ethereum has a much greater chance of becoming a market leader, as it introduces a different form of transactions, which may be more practical in the future. Litcoin "otherness" is simply too small and because of it will never be more popular than Bitcoin.

I am not an avid fan of litecoin but I think it will go up more. Litecoin is one of the cryptocurrency that speculated before to become a potential cryptocurrency that will survive even there is a decline in market. It may not reach the bitcoin and ethereum but it will remain to its position because litecoin has good developments. I am sure that it will reach its ath because it already halved its supply.

there is a big difference between litecoin and bitcoin  . litecoin maybe cheaper but it was not a slow moving coin , its name says it all . if dominant crypto will be gone , ltc will be included because litecoin is already a dominant coin , do you think of that ? 84 million supply is higher vs to the 21 million supply of btc but is that really an advantage? because i guess no . higher supply leads to lesser value   but aside from supply litecoin have literally an advantage , most known of it was its lite'ning fast speed . its already an established coin

When the altcoins “Golden age” comes, Litecoin will jump high. This is still one of the best alts of all the time, although the project is pretty old. I have LTC in my portfolio, but now, I use it mostly for trading. Litecoin is presented on almost all exchanges.

I've been a long-time supporter of litecoin. Even though I haven't bought any litecoin since I sold it in 2017. Possibility to buy it again around the end of the year and I will hold until the end of 2021.

why do you have to buy it at the end of the year? isn't this a good opportunity to buy LTC because Litecoin's price is very cheap?
It seems you will regret it if you miss this moment  ;D

Litecoin is the cheaper version of Bitcoin, potentially a good successor in case the dominant cryptocurrency will be gone. I have unfollowed this project after the announcement by CEO who sold the all balance in real market price. The potential of LTC is huge but I can't ignore the alternative cryptocurrencies with similarities. For investing, buying at $58 is still a cheap entry and the price can go up to $90 in a year.

He is probably doing research and finds that at the end of the year there may be a better price and it is a good time to buy. However, I also agree with your opinion, buy as soon as possible because the market will probably  pump soon.

Sorry that wayback those year Litecoin shows Good moves as they changed their Logo and i thought that time is they are moving forward.
But suddenly after year or more?they remain lower and now lose the momentum and leave the Rank 3 position completely.

Perhaps by that time, LTC was doing their job well in this market and even now. True, there is no question that LTC is a version of BTC with much less value. But I must also say that the activities of LTC to the market were very influential, I remember the time when the CEO announced that LTC was sold out, the market was also partly affected.

And of course until today, I think everyone will recognize that LTC is a huge in the cryptocurrency market.
