I tried connecting my USB drive to a Windows 10 computer. I reinstalled the drivers and now everything is ok! Yeah, uninstalling and restarting the PC will do for this matter. But if that doesn't work again, the problem lies not with the OS but with the motherboard itself. I've encountered this problem when I've fixed my friend's PC and the past technician that fixed his PC plugged the cable of USB to the wrong socket in the motherboard. It my even have a yellow icon as an error. Right click and uninstall, and then plug the USB device back in.
