My hypothesis is that small fish attract larger fish... so we are just going to focus on feeding the small fish rather than dumping a bunch of money into advertising. The withdraw fees will help us fund our faucet and our faucet will help us convert noncrypto users into crypto users risk free. We are finishing off charts and historic volume before this faucet stuff though! People need to see that we had people trade yesterday in order to encourage their trading today. Swap is more risky for Whales than it is for small traders... I strongly recommend big traders directly use XChange. (Cheaper and safer for large traders... I'll explain why shortly) Swap is just a glorified market order tool for XChange. Thus, that same liquidity is going to apply to your trade. How exactly does it work? Does it give convert your coins based on a flat fee + market rates for any amount, or is it simply automating market orders and thus subject to the same orderbook limitations as the spot CLAM market? If you send Swap 500 CLAMS, Swap waits for the transaction to confirm, and then Swap makes a market trade of those 500 CLAMS. That basically means those CLAMS are going to be sold for the best price right away... whatever the best "Bid" is... they are going to get the CLAMS. The Bitcoins are then withdrawn to the customer's desired Swap address. The miner fee is deducted from the total. So, XChange charges a flat miner fee (0.0004 BTC) and Swap only charges the exact miner fee (it's deducted at the end). It usually makes more sense for small traders to use Swap than it does for them to use XChange. Swap charges 1% + all XChange fees + real miner fee. XChange charges 0.2% + flat miner fee. It's not illegal to do it, nothing's going to come back to you as far as consequences (if you even care), and I think slapping one or more FBC stickers at eye level on that goddamn piece of shit would likely attract the attention of quite a few customers before 1) a store employee removed them, and/or 2) store security gang tackled my ass before I could bounce. Lots of developers looking not to beg or faucet with rented VPNs who have a small budget and then bill their clients... that's at least one type. Bitcoin Testnet allows them to test a product on a network vs the other types of Bitcoin Testnet. After they are done testing, they have more incentive to return them... Kind of like a quarter for a grocery cart at Aldi's. Then the next round of folks buy. I imagine there are some pretty large individuals testing huge systems that have more money than time... I honestly have no clue, but I do try to ask when I get the opportunity. A better question is: Who are these people with these monster stashes and how long did it take them!!!!! Gawd, why?! The whole market is wild. Sellers don't care, buyers don't care, and it rocks n rolls.
