Title: How Deepfake redefines Digital Identity
Post by: selfkey.org on November 05, 2019, 01:17:21 AM
To some extent, deepfake technology has generated a modern day arms race. The technology is developing so fast that those trying to prevent it have to work even faster. Blockchain is part of the answer, but it is not the complete solution. https://selfkey.org/deepfake-redefining-digital-identity/

In what ways do you think blockchain could help in this modern day problem?

Dont believe anything you can't touch, feel, or interact with live with in real life! Voice, text, video, nothing is safe anymore it seems  :o

Blockchain can help by relying on the KYC (Know Your Costumer) system, but if media behind it does support Blockchain system. Like steemit, photochain, and entertainment media that stand on blockchain.

The blockchain makes transactions safer, faster and transparently. They can all know and track the transactions they make that lead to where and be accepted by who only says the anonymous address.
Some blockchain projects can see who the sender and receiver are because they develop the technology deeper and it seems to me good so we know where the funds we will send and receive.
Blockchain can also help bank transactions if they want to adopt such a Chinese government.

If everyone is willing to accept and develop a blockchain, especially power holders and large capital holders, we can be sure that the blockchain will be applied in real life. Examples such as the application of blockchain in the government system, especially the problem of state finances. Where people should be able to see where the money is flowing and being used. So as to avoid corrupt practices. Or easily used as a payment system in their respective countries as China will do, launch DCEP.
