Title: 3 Things You like To learn
Post by: worldtraveller321 on November 06, 2019, 06:05:33 PM
For all of you who follow various content creators to Crypto?

what are 3 elements or pieces of information you like to see?

That the content creators may be missing out?

What would you like to see?

What would make you generate interest towards a specific content creator?

That's an interesting question and I think it is a good idea to survey the crypto community regarding what they would like to read about. Personally am yet to see a YouTuber or article writer than exemplifies numerous methods to use cryptocurrenices in real life. That's what we need to promote in order to raise the awareness and the adoption of Bitcoin. Content creators play an essential part in this as the average joe doesn't usually make extensive research over a subject, but he needs example and proof that a thing is more efficient and he could benefit more by doing that instead of paying with fiat for example.

I'd like to see a friendly guide into the Lightning Network with the main possibilities, fees, potential concerns and stuff like that. I read some stuff, but not something that would make me feel safe about trying it out.
Another thing I'd be interested in is a movie about Bitcoin coming into being, so to speak. The background ideas that are related to it. Again, I know some stuff, but a nice historical movie could help to see the bigger picture, so to speak.
And finally, I'd like to address the crypto-related content in general. It mainly focuses on the price moving up/down and announcements/regulations which are often connected to the first point. How about interesting articles about Bitcoin upgrades, thoughts on Bitcoin's future from the development team and stuff like that? You know, things that are related to Bitcoin directly.

And how is this related to Bitcoin discussion that you have it in here. It's quite strange that others are also making comments without really looking at the topic under discussion and the board in which this has been made. Please i suggest you move this to maybe the offtopic discussion or somewhere suitable and not in the Bitcoin discussion board.

Personally, for some content creators for example, in Youtube, I see them quite good but has room for improvement. Maybe more polished animations, clearer voice, and better overall quality would attract more people/public into watching these contents made to endorse publicity to cryptocurrencies and crypto-related projects. Although current existing media are quite informative, we still could improve and make steps that would catch public's attention.

I believe this is not an off topic discussion. Please read carefully and thoroughly what the op wants to suggest.
This is a cryptocurrency related question. So how do you think this is off topic? Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency isn't it?

I think a lot of crypto-currency channels miss out on looking at the government's interpretation of bitcoin and crypto-currencies, I don't really see a lot of them cover the government movements, more just broad crypto news.

I enjoy videos that have clear planning, and are well made. Clear narration, good video formating, and clear graphics/person talking in front of me. We see this with a lot of YouTubers, but we miss out on the animation side, and I've never seen a lot of animations that are related to crypto-currencies, to be honest.

I agree - I don't have a great understanding of the Lightning Network due to this, most of my knowledge does usually come from reading news articles, and youtube videos, and I lack quite a bit due to this!

Another thing I'd be interested in is a movie about Bitcoin coming into being, so to speak. The background ideas that are related to it. Again, I know some stuff, but a nice historical movie could help to see the bigger picture, so to speak.
There are a couple movies/documentaries that have been made relating to bitcoin/blockchain technology. I'll link some below.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5033790/
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2821314/
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2iF73cybTBs

I would recommend the first one, it was a great watch for me, goes pretty in-depth and pretty well made.

I can get the point what you want to ask on bitcointallk forum, I am looking with your question is not coherence with your topic with three thing you like to earn, maybe you give example which one of three ways could to learn with bitcoin and altcoin investing, many people never try for learning with basic of bitcoin from what is bitcoin, how to use bitcoin and how to earn profit with bitcoin.

I'm currently fine with how those content creators tell about bitcoin basics "in general", at least to those articles and videos that I saw. Much more deep and technical explanation might not put interest into some of the newbies. They will be there soon after learning the basics.

But for the content or let's say article or videos about the trading activity with trading discussion, these authors should also state their losses so that readers and viewers will not think that trading is easy as 1,2,3. These people who just show their winnings obviously care for views, traffic and referrals that's why they hide it. As I noticed, a good content creator that involves their trading losses in the discussion will get a better views and traffic since they are leading their viewers into something that they should expect once they are now in the reality of doing trades. And if these content creators were able to show how to bounce back from that losses, it's a + score for the readers and viewers.

I would say that what content creators are missing today? The authenticity of the content itself, I mean we have seen thousands of contents in the crypto sphere and the sad part is that majority of them are either FUD or the content is pure garbage.

They are just putting content to get click ad revenues. They don't care if the content they put has been verified by the author itself. Most of the time they just copy it, without even quoting the source, worst they try to spin it around that most of the time it is utterly trash, just saying.

For me, the TRANSPARENCY.

As other I can see on some content about cryprocurrency especially in Bitcoin, some are misleading and it causes FUD (just what other said).
And there are some content just to make pump and dump schemes using news, like partnership shits. Because some project are only mentioned by some big companies and it is telling that they have been partnered, something like that

i would like to see these so called "content creators" educate themselves first before creating "content". lately i have been seeing an increased number of misinformed people who are trying to teach others but end up misleading them more. this becomes even worse when you focus on the "speculation" category. there are lots of blogs from newbies who have no idea how the market works and yet they come up with their own guesses and sell it as "analysis".

First is the content itself. The clarity, and the content must be meaty enough for the readers to acquire new knowledge about the content they're making.
Second is the references to make it more reliable. Not purely opinionated but have sources to verify their points. Cause there are cases that they only include their opinions and people tend to believe in everything it says when it's just subjective.
We want something that's useful not a just-made-content when it's not even informative.

Aside from what you have mentioned above, it is important to me to have facts coming from the experts and have real data so I would have the chance to know exactly how they came up to that statement, I hate content stating this word 'I think' and would prefer writer doing a thorough research stating those fact that most readers need to know especially when it comes to price prediction about cryptocurrency.

Most content creators I saw and watched are just being done because of bounties which looks like an irritating ads. When you see it, you will realize that the composition of their works are just copy paste from announcement thread and official website. What I really want to see is the real experience when they used the products and services of a project where they can include the CONS and PRONS, not just only the good sides. I also want to see, is the application after the learnings.

I am most interested in price prediction especially in technical analysis of the market situation that each cryptocurrency has. Basically, it might not be a prediction because there is a basis for each analysis. And for me, this is one of the key factors to earn profit in cryptocurrency space. Another thing that content creators that I love to see the most is the validity of their statements that has a primary source. Most of the time we have been exposed to certain news and not every article presents a concrete piece since they do not present valid sources.

I want to see clear strategies that help mass adoption and where people can obtain benefits in their countries in a simple way, even if they have no experience in the world of cryptocurrencies.

are you speaking about the crypto blog writer and the YouTube content makers for cryptocurrencies?

Tera many channels reason we are raised for cryptocurrency at their try to narrate more about the recent affairs happening around the cryptocurrency. Price and the you'd options over the cryptocurrency will be a trusted idea for the content makers.

With the interest of people relating to what they look out for when reading a particular crypto created content, people have their own preferences in terms of what they want to read.  Personally, I will be very happy when I see content creators creating articles that will help people to really understand the true nature and purpose of Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency as a whole. I feel that people don't really understand the use and purpose of cryptocurrencies. Once total understanding is achieved, adoption will be much easier and faster...

content creation does have a role in providing information to the public. maybe the greater the rating of the site will increasingly make the value of articles in it more interesting, so content creators seem to have to make articles made more useful in terms of using crypto

I would like to see more content focused on price analysis and adoption and mining statistics vs. energy cost. There are many bitcoin-related news channels, but no news channels speak or show the lives of bitcoin mining workers. no news channels show behind mining companies (show mining companies headquarters). bitcoin-related news channels talk little about bitcoin price analysis. Bitcoin news channels have no investigative journalism ... Many scam ICOs have been reported here on bitcointalk and never talk about them on bitcoin-related news channels.

I really like the article which is unique, not long-winded, but can clearly describe a project as a whole. Important points that I always want to get from content related to cryptocurrency and blockchain are:
  • the background or vision and mission of the project
  • the uniqueness of the project compared to similar projects
  • its potential for the future
Explanation based on research and thorough analysis will make the content more informative, of course it's useful than just conveying the general thing. When compared with other projects, it will be found advantages or uniqueness of the project that is unfortunate if passed.

A certain content that they'll be doing such as the use cases of bitcoin which is going to be interesting, because those doubters can have something to refer to if they keep on flaming bitcoin as a digital currency that has no use. Although the other contents were already published on the web and we can easily find it but sometimes it's more interesting with visual graphics while someone on the background is narrating and explaning the whole idea.

It's in the word.... I want content from a content maker. I don't want to hear what they think they can do or about their delusion fantasy dreams. Have something to show us or gtfo now!! Simple as that.
It amazes me to see people supporting or investing total shit then they cry their tokens have no value. What did they think would happen? Did they really think the tokens will go up in value just because the creator said so?
If I sell magic beans to people in an ICO do you think will take part? Legit magic beans, oh and a golden goose.

I don't want to hear. Who is in the project. Noone cares.
I don't want to hear the capital or your background or what degrees you have.
I don't want specualtion and bs either.

I want work.
I want content actual solid content not something someone pulled out their arse trying to take a chance making a quick buck.

I agree with you, I got bored when there's a lot of introduction about the team of the project, that there's a lot of information that are not needed in the content.

I don't like to read any false statement too, I only want truth, I just prefer what's the advantage and the disadvantage if a certain project. I just want to check if there is feasibility of the project to grow in the future.

Content creators might be missing out the use of visual or graphics especially content creators here on our forum if they can explain it in words, they will surely do it, and even though the content is purely provided and can be easily understood, the fact that illustration or graphics is still a need to make the impact of a topic more effective. In addition, a link from the best article or source is a need even though all the thoughts are properly stated, most of the time, we want to view the sources to check for the validity of the point of the topic.

I'd be interested to see tutorials about trading systems and how to use indicators on articles probably with screenshots to it and technical numbers as to how to use it. More indicators inside the chart that is explained in the content would be better. Indicators combined with others to predict where the market is going within an hour or in 4hour chart. With such content I guess we'd all be learning not just economy but learning to catch fish not just eating fish.

I suggest also to those who are making content it must be regarding to different news both good and bad news that is happening in the market so that the newbies or beginners here will be updated as well they will gain new knowledge on what the content creator doing.
That's probably some informations we need to have and what the content creators are lacking of right now.

These three elements are already seen in the content of every article.  Most articles seen in the crypto space usually contain content people may either like or dislike which is usually generated towards a specific kinda interested parties.  Looking at the content of your post, I can't really get what you wanted to communicate across here, because content creators provide readers with all these three elements you think readers and viewers need to check out.

An article must clearly state its purpose, not necessarily it needs to cover a hundred pages, it can be shorter but all the information is there.

If we are about to read a certain content/article it is better to direct to the point what should it want to clarify, the transparency and must serve a good deal for everyone and it gonna be full of information about crypto and not bringing us readers to the other world. The most important thing is to help people to understand about this new technology and to enlighten their perceptions toward crypto.

If I will be given an opportunity to study 3 things in cryptocurrency, I want to learn the following;

1. I want to learn how to create tokens and use the blockchain technology because I don't have a more profound knowledge to them.

2. I want to study how mining works in reality. Because I want to see mining rigs. I suppose to buy it but it is too expensive so I just search for it.

3. I want to learn how to hack wallets but I think it is impossible to happen. Lol

Trading is a good tool for a passive income, but it is not too easy as it requires work, you are just like working in a company wherein you need a lot of experience and training before you can do battle on it, before you will be promoted as professional in trading, it is a step by step process, you cannot learn it in just one night or a week, it takes few months or even years.

When I was learning how to trade, I started with Forex trading first and this was the only saving grace that I had to have been able to trade cryptocurrency on time, and even with that, I still spent like almost 6 months perfecting the knowledge I was acquiring newly in cryptocurrency. If you are to learn how to trade cryptocurrency newly, you really have to be prepared for it and know that it is not very easy because of the volatility of bitcoin and other altcoins that is far more than that of Forex and stock market.

The best way to start tis learning of trading is to get some friend that are not selfish and open to share knowledge to take you through the basics and once you are through with the basic, then you can move to learning on your own via the YouTube and other means.

Indeed, because it can help us to be more aware if there is an incident of scamming and we can easily avoid it because we already have some idea. As you can see people these days particularly newbies are falling into scams because they don't have enough knowledge of how they can keep away from it. If there are more topics about it then it can enlighten them and other people's experiences can help them in making wise decisions. Some of us had experienced it and whenever we see some posts about scams there is something about it that we want to share our own experiences so that newbies won't do the same mistakes. Personally, it's certainly a good idea because it can also help those people who are conducting their own research regarding safety and security on the internet.

For all of you who follow various content creators to Crypto?

what are 3 elements or pieces of information you like to see?

That the content creators may be missing out?

What would you like to see?

What would make you generate interest towards a specific content creator?

With the interest of people relating to what they look out for when reading a particular crypto created content, people have their own preferences in terms of what they want to read.  Personally, I will be very happy when I see content creators creating articles that will help people to really understand the true nature and purpose of Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency as a whole. I feel that people don't really understand the use and purpose of cryptocurrencies. Once total understanding is achieved, adoption will be much easier and faster...
I want to learn more about trading because this is the way that they can earn a lot of money although almost all of the techniques to earn here is profitable but I want to be intelligent in terms of trading. Also I want to learn investing very well, because all I know is that you choose a particular campaign or project and you are one of the supporters in terms of tokens, meaning you are buying tokens to them and wait for the right time that the particular campaign will be successful, but it is now hard to choose a project that deserves our support.

everyone wanna learn to trade can learn it by trial and error which i guess most of us are doing and have lost amount of money because of it. there is just not much that is taught to us by the people who claimed to be gurus. the only tutorials you will find are the howto's like how to use the indicators.

what i'd like to learn and this is exciting for me is where will the direction of the adoption start. will the government backed stablecoins going to be platforms as well or just a store of value. if adoption has to start like how china is doing and can they force the other countries to trade with them with digital currencies.

Trading is also one of major priority now I want to diversify from being a hodler of crypto to a trader although I am not a fan of Bot I prefers trading manually ie study the chart with a few indicators and then place a trade with appropriate stop loss and take profit while using a good money management to control my risks all these I wanted to learn in addition to my day Job, although its not easy to accomplished but with time, dedication and commitment I hope to put all my resources together to achieve this aim.

More application of the blockchain and bitcoin, I think content creators are just focusing on explaining technical terms and in the market value or status. It's better also if you explain and add more applications like creating a web app that consist blockchain for data.

There's a lot of study and we should be more innovative, we must search more applications on blockchain since it's very wide technology.

What I'm interested in is technical analysis of value charts, new technology elements in projects, new technology updates and collaborative information.  I found them at coinmarketcal.com
but I like them better listed by aggregating thematic items like price charts, learning about chart analysis, technology knowledge and new points, collaborative information.  highlights like this will help less redundant go to learn each type of property.

Yes survey is good idea for us to know how many people are have knowledge in bitcoin and how the bitcoin community grows. Better to know the average of people using bitcoin in that way we can more share all the people who don't know about bitcoin we can explain to them what are the benefits we can get in bitcoin and what are the uses of bitcoin also.

I want to see contents about how to earn bitcoin in some other ways aside from trading, signature or bounty campaigns.
I want to see some contents about how to sustain the enthusiasm in working and learning about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
I want to see some contents about the safety measures to do in order to safeguard your assets in cryptocurrency.

I am also someone that would like to create contents that will make people to be more aware if bitcoin as a payment tool and not as a digitalassets that many of us got exposed to alone during our own time which is making us to just buy bitcoin and then hold it in our wallet without ever thinking of how we can spread the awareness by sending it.

It is only when we are spending bitcoin often that we can really achieve the goal of it being that global currency, but for now, I think that there is still very little knocked about how people can fully start using bitcoin for payment, both the merchant and also the end users of some of these cryptocurrencies. So, I will like to create content more in that regards for this purpose.

Aside from that I also wanted to know the different insights of experts, so they must make research about it and share to their content the value of having a Bitcoin as well as the future behind it. There's also negative feedback from other experts so they should also highlight it so that readers will know what are the disadvantage too for them to take care of it.

Content Creators sure had a big influence on people mostly their subscribers, I have once monitor a YouTuber and mostly of his topic would be about cryptocurrency and I am watching his channel because of some awareness towards great Altcoins that he thinks have some potential if given a chance by investors, what to do with your Bitcoin and cryptocurrency when there are big dips or in times of a bear market some scam and fraudulent awareness, I am pretty sure back then he is surely saying hints to his viewers that Bitconnect is a big flop and may turn fraudulent one day, I think that is what we needed an influencer that really knowns a thing about cryptocurrency and Bitcoin.

For me, there is no best time to buy or sell bitcoin cause anytime you can do it, especially if you are new in this field. No need to wait for a pump or dump of prices before making a decision, because you can't identify what would be the perfect market moves.

Anyway, I never see content yet of an actual seminar teaching about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. That spread the benefits of using blockchain technology outdoor.

I like to see consistency amongst the content I'm provided. Just simply providing content for the sake of staying relevant,  has become all the rage these days for social media influencers. It's no different than having to watch filler material episodes from your favorite show. Filler material is fluff in the middle to stretch out real content.
When a content provider starts going left field with their material and begins using slap schtick methods and schemes when the ideas and creativity run dry, or simple cheap laughs & tricks for monetary gain with no reguard for morals or ethics, the overall provider suffers with loss of real followers. Happens all to often.

Personally, what I have been looking for content creator are they should have a good flow of disseminating information, a unique way of delivering info, clear narration and good animation matters as well. What I've been looking for as well is the capability of a content creator to provide the latest news that is related to crypto. What I want or him/her to cover is the do's and don't's in industry, basically a guide for newbies since community getting bigger in order for them to put away from some harmful scheme like phishing, scam and more.

It could be helpful for everyone if there is a local school that teaches us the different ways to earn bitcoin , like trading, gambling and mining. It could be helpful to all cryptocurrency trader aspirant like me. I want to learn trading in order for me to manage my earnings and make it profitable so that when time comes I dont need a job, I just needed to trade and it will be my daily living income.

Then learn the basics first or practice coding alone, beside of that Bitcoin code is also an open source and you can find it on the internet.
I don't know why Satoshi did left the block this so small but it's like he's stopping the massive selling by limiting the blocks for any transaction committed because somehow it is the main problem that I see  right now.

Though it looks interesting but somehow it can't be a good idea to think about it. I'm not going to discourage you but it gonna be a difficult mate and it takes months or years probably to master which I don't think that you will survive for this.
Anyway, it is all about how you make your self clear to your goal and must stick to it otherwise, you will never succeed.

Then he can be another satoshi if he could make it. Otherwise, he will just be wasting his time learning about codes.
Though we can see a lot on the internet, what satoshi made is quite unique from the others and only this person knows how it made.

~snip~

I would like the analysis carried out by the creator with respect to the market, whether in Technical Analysis it is done in a live broadcast, that is, if the analysis is an entry in the market, that makes the entry with the amount allocated in its recommendation and to show everything until the exit of the operation, to verify that its content does not focus solely on the interest of sales.

I have only seen a YouTuber that has done it, live and direct with results, in case of losing that explains the technical reason or the factor that influenced your failure, and if you win in the same way. Many focus on the technical analysis they recommend, but do not show their operations or wallet. It would be something very different from what others always do, in addition the interest increases when it comes to trading with Bitcoin, it would be the perfect opportunity to show that if you know what you are doing.

It will not be a waste of time if he loves his work just like Satoshi did and besides it is also an investment for the future. You don't learn coding just by this purpose, it has a lot of use especially if you are a programmer. Don't just look at the above surface learn to look at the whole of it and what's under it. It's more than that—that's why Satoshi made an innovative invention the "Bitcoin".

What I would like to see for content creation,
*it should be a clear vision of crypto
* its purpose and how it affects the community

There is no need to innovate how the content being made before. The only thing might have to consider is that crypto can be of special think and it needs deep understanding before a content creator make it or they have to be a part of this in order for them to be in reality, not just a sort of speculations or imagination.

For me, the TRANSPARENCY.

As other I can see on some content about cryprocurrency especially in Bitcoin, some are misleading and it causes FUD (just what other said).
And there are some content just to make pump and dump schemes using news, like partnership shits. Because some project are only mentioned by some big companies and it is telling that they have been partnered, something like that
Same to be honest, I really want to see the transparency in the future related to bitcoin and about cryptos in general. Like you've said, spreading FUDs causes a lot of problems usually to bitcoin regarding the price and bitcoin's value. People should just be transparent and just share always the truth about bitcoin and not being sneaky and spreading lies to let bitcoin disappears.

Transparency is most important thing with bitcoin and altcoin investing, many investment project not transparent with how much token supply before listing on exchange market like IEO or ICO project, they always give fake information before and after coin listing on market where give effect price down after active for trading on exchange.

I just have on piece of advice for such content creators and that is to include content which actually shows the users why financial stability can be increased using BTC. I have seen that most of content creators claim Bitcoin as a magic wand which can change the whole financial system but its isn't that revolutionary if we see in terms of finance. Digital gold these days is doing pretty much a similar job. So main focus should be that how Bitcoin's values can bring economic control in our hands

PS: some people would say me not to compare Bitcoin with Digital gold as they are different but truth is their economic characteristics are pretty much same. Limited supply, infinite demand with a decentralised control.
