Title: A gift to Bitcoin and Bitcointalk forum from three school going kids
Post by: eaLiTy on November 22, 2019, 07:06:39 PM
I am sponsoring three school kids for the past three years and here is their representation and love they have given to the forum and for the celebration, i just asked them to do any art work of their imagination and to include BTCitcoin and the bitcointalk forum anniversary and the kids age range between 8 to 14 years old and this is what they came up with and i am proud to post them here.

All these creations are hand made with sketch pencil and other coloring tools and paper cuttings

Thank you and yes they are 9,12 and 14 years girls and hence when i saw the portrayal of BTCitcoin and bitcointalk as teen girl i had a smile too as i just asked them to do anything they like from their imagination and it has to relate with the 10 year anniversary of BTCitcoin and the forum. :)

Those kids are way better than me  ;D

Well done to you OP also for guiding them. I am guessing they'll be part of the next generation bitcoiners.

The kids really did their best, given their age this is looking very nice and I think that you should post their work in the competition thread. Admin has rewarded them (you) with 50 merits, which means he likes the art, so there is a good chance of winning one of the prizes. Children certainly deserve it, maybe there are serious artists among them ;)

I think Bitcoin and this forum is one of the places where these creative skills can be developed.
They can draw, design things, and other objects then display them in this forum, or anywhere else in order to get some donations or even to sell them online.
You must add a donation address so you can buy some gifts for them through those donations.

Thank you so much and i have sent the screen shot of all the messages posted here and they are really happy and excited and might even post another video thanking everyone. I knew their talents as they used to sent me what they drew and when the admin created this contest i thought i will tell them to do something and the only thing i said is the theme and i gave them the complete freedom for creativity .

Those kids are way better than me  ;D

Thank you, hopefully they will be interested in learning about it in the future and if so i will be glad to teach them everything about it.

With minimal guidance and just a theme they did this and the communications were done through phone and hence i am proud to see their creative work and  sure i will be meeting them this week. The elder who is 14 years does have an aspiration to become a model and she has some great drawing skills as all of these paintings are done in a drawing book which i gifted earlier.

Thank you for the suggestion, i will be meeting them this week and they are excited as i told them about the appreciation they got for their work and they are willing to sell their art work, any donations sent will go completely to them.

The elder one is willing to put up a video for the community to thank everyone and she is happy to demonstrate her drawing skills in the video :).

LOL.  Hey man, he's helping people out and he's got plenty of sMerits to spare.  I'm all for him giving out the max to a post like OP's, which IMO deserves it.  Don't be jelly.

Aww....and if they get into bitcoin themselves, that's even better.  Crypto has a glaring lack of women being involved, and even though I usually don't think there needs to be any forced diversity, I'm definitely not against women in crypto.  And I definitely appreciate these girls' efforts.  Props to them.

I envy her passion in drawing.
I myself knows how to draw and I guess its safe to say that my drawings are good. Yet, I'm very impatient most of the time If I made mistakes while practicing my drawing skill.
At her young age she came up with such creative artwork. She could be a good fashion designer in the future and I'm glad you're supporting this kids.
Kudos to OP! Keep up the good work.

You mistook my statement as being negative. What I meant was that I find it rare for theymos to give 50, that's all.

When theymos merits not 1, not 2 but 50
Not all arts submitted inside the art contest or released outside the art contest (like arts in this topic) receive 50 merits from theymos.

Only ones deserve 50 merits receive such high amount of merit.

Exactly, I mean it's understandable since the OP's children put so much effort to draw them (I can't draw to save my life) :D

Good work by the kids but you should have posted this in the competition, there were only two other entries from the Indian sub forum and you did not even post in the competition  ::).

I met their parents while i was investigating a ponzi scam in Mumbai in 2016 and they were lured into investing in it in the name of BTCitcoin and the returns they could make and majority are single parents and doing small jobs, they initially invested 5000 INR and it came to my notice well after they invested and i was taking a seminar to spread the awareness about BTCitcoin and not to fall for scams and ponzi and i met these kids during that period and sponsoring their education.
It is true that if anyone is getting into BTCitcoin by understand the real concept then it is fair and good rather than luring in the name of BTCitcoin which is happening around the world and it should stop.

At her young age she came up with such creative artwork. She could be a good fashion designer in the future and I'm glad you're supporting this kids.

Yes one of the parent is a fashion designer and her kid who was the main artist in these drawings wants to be a model  :) and thank you for your kind words.

I was travelling during that period and there was a lack of proper net connection to upload the pictures and so was the delay and these kids forwarded the images on 20th and it was my delay to upload it here. :(
